Capricorn New Moon Miniscopes

Capricorn New
Moon Miniscopes

Climbing The Summit.

The New Moon falls at 1º Capricorn, 5:16 AM ET on December 23rd. As we enter this new astrological season, we are given a fresh lunar cycle—one where we are called to reform and restructure. The New Moon in Capricorn grounds us as we embark on a journey towards growth. It supports: creating foundations and structures where there once were none. Standing like a mountain in the middle of the ocean, it is a shelter to keep us from drowning in the icy sea of Winter. This New Moon is concerned with where we lay our roots and set ourselves up, acting like a space of protection as we find our way. Here, we start to build toward something bigger than ourselves.

However, when we carve out our space on this mountain, do we lock ourselves in? When does a structure become too rigid, too restrictive? Saturn is the leader of this New Moon, where it redefines, restructures, and rebuilds all that has come into focus over the last year. We know that path isn’t always easy, but with hard work comes reward—every time. Saturn isn’t just the ruler of obstacles, but also where we reach the pinnacle of success. We have ascended up the mountain, made it to the top, but now we have a different perspective of life atop the peak. To rest peacefully on top of that mountain, we must be willing to let some things go. Saturn is finishing its transit through Aquarius in the coming months. A chapter is coming to a close.

This New Moon comes with a square to Jupiter, where expansion and reaching beyond the limits are themes that light the way. We must understand the story of the Devil in Tarot, where excess and extreme scarcity leave us in the dark. We have to bring it back to a balance. Jupiter is the Wheel, pushing us to understand that everything works in divine timing. Sometimes, we have to accept the churning and turning of life and notice how at times our fortune changes. Jupiter allows for new opportunities as we unchain ourselves from the Devil. We are not the obstacles that stand before us, but the resilience we have in the face of those obstacles.

Mercury sextiles Neptune, where we are tasked with self-reflection. Our ability to transform our inner world allows us to ground our dreams into reality. Venus plays an interesting role here as it trines Uranus. Sometimes, the unexpected moments in life can be pleasurable and exciting. We must be willing to value the leaps of faith we take and accept that part of life is letting loose.

Forgiveness and compassion lead the way toward greater self-acceptance. It is from here we can truly enjoy the fruits of our labor and sit in our success. The New Moon sets the tone for the year to come, so how will you work with this energy? This is a pathway built with long-term potential. Nothing is impossible when we have faith.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 0º to 5º or 26º to 29º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Cardinal placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

NOTE: I added some journal prompts since this is the last New Moon of the calendar year.

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

10th House | Pinnacle

What is the pinnacle for you? Capricorn Season usually turns your focus toward your outward life, publicity, and career. This also encompasses your direction and achievements. The last 6 months have had you working hard and making decisions that impacted your future — and now it seems that you are either beginning or about to begin a new phase.

Your 10th House is being highlighted — a place of career, direction, and honor. You may be busy with work and considering ways to change how you approach your career. This would be an ideal time to launch a product/project, bringing your focus to the type of work you do and/or maintaining your perspective on your goals. Are you feeling like you are doing what you want to do? How does this influence your daily life? Are you overwhelmed right now? Taking on too much? In some ways, you may be reaching a pinnacle. You could be redefining your purpose and pushing yourself to the next level. Saturn is the leader of this New Moon, emphasizing your future goals and community. Saturn has been regularly transiting your 11th House since December 2020. Soon this will come to an end, and the foundations you’ve created for your future will be more secure.

A key player at this lunation is Jupiter. Jupiter squares the New Moon, creating a potential obstacle or even making us a bit overzealous. Jupiter is now back in your 1st House, so there may be a bit of tension between your expression, identity, and motivation and how that relates to your career or current vocation. It may be that you are ready for your next move. Alternatively, you could just feel spread too thin. Perhaps you are taking on more than you need to right now. Really understand your limits and how they help your overall growth. Luckily, the Venus/Uranus trine can help ease any tensions, especially as this aspect may bring an unexpected gift your way!

Use this New Moon to build a bridge for yourself. Focus on your next steps and your direction in life. Allow yourself to shine at work regardless of what others may say. If a job isn’t a good fit, then start looking around for something else. Work with your roots and nourish your foundations. Really give yourself space to go after what you want.

Journal prompts: What do I value most in my work? Where could I use more self-confidence? How can I allow myself to be seen? What are my long term goals and aspirations? Am I truly happy in the work/career that I have?

Taurus & Taurus Rising

9th House | Horizons

This is a time of learning, understanding, and making time for your own potential growth. This, in part, requires you to take a few more risks. You could be taking on a new course of study, itching to travel, getting in touch with what inspires you, or simply just adjusting your mindset. This is a call to change your perspective a bit, too. You are opening up more and willing to learn through experience.

Your 9th House is being activated, so this is a good time to expand your horizons. This is about experiencing life and learning along the way. This New Moon will excellent for long-term visions and goals that you have for yourself — looking ahead at what tomorrow will bring. Reconnecting with a sense of inner faith or trust could be important now, too. Saturn rules this New Moon, and it has been sitting at the top of your chart since late 2020. Pressures at work have been surmounting. You are starting to see the reward (or even closure) around all of your hard work. Let this energy be a reminder to allocate less energetic resources to your job and put more investment back into yourself.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 12th House. Endings are not always as clear-cut as we think they should be. You are in the process of bringing something to a close or trying to tie up a loose end. Jupiter is going to show you how connected that ending is to other facets of your life. It may not be as simple as you would want it to be, but it doesn’t mean you should avoid it. However, Venus and Uranus are playfully aligned at this New Moon. Venus will bring about greater self-confidence and see the value in taking a leap of faith. As one door potentially closes, another will open — what door do you want it to be? Follow the spontaneous or serendipitous threads that arise around this lunation.

Use this New Moon to start seeing possibilities that may lie elsewhere. Remove the limitations by removing yourself from situations that make you feel small. Start finding alternative pathways and know they still lead to the goals you want to achieve. Take time to assess what you really want from life. It can help you clear the blocks that stand in front of you.

Journal prompts: What do I value most in my life? Where could I take more risks? How can I release outdated beliefs or values? What inspires me? What is something I am very interested in and haven’t explore much?

Gemini & Gemini Rising

 8th House | Shadows

You have come so far, and the last month or so was a wild ride for you! Right now though, your mind turns toward some healing, slowing down and focusing on what’s here in front of you. This New Moon reinforces that message. It falls in your 8th House, this puts attention on shedding old skin, releasing and unearthing. Even in ways not seen by others, your life has been completely transformed.

This New Moon is asking for you to get intimate. Focus on your emotional well-being, but also share your depths with those you are close to. It could be a great New Moon for exploring interests and opening yourself up to the unknown. Alternatively, some of you may have past issues that crop up and need your attention. Resilience is key as you walk through fire and ice to get to the core of what keeps you in your holding patterns. Like a Phoenix, you can rise again, burning brighter, faster, and hotter than ever before — but it may require personal grace and confrontations with your own limitations first. Consider this confrontation an exercise of intimacy — with yourself and others. Remember that resilience can simply be leaning into your softness. Saturn rules this lunation and has been sitting in your 9th House, teaching you the lessons of knowing your limits and reaching beyond them when necessary (see above note about confronting your limits). You could be staring down some big goals and reminding yourself of the possibilities that you hold within you.

Jupiter squares this New Moon from your 11th House. Perhaps there is a need to separate a bit from the influence of others or group-think. Not to say you can’t share or listen, but you may need to feel more rooted in your own values or ideas before taking them on from anyone else. Some people in your life may also be using more of your energy than intended. Luckily, Venus helps this a bit. It trines Uranus, adding some fun and flavor to your life. Venus is reminding you of your innate power and beauty — and how some connections are truly value and nourishing.

Use this New Moon to work on yourself and your inner world. Focus on your healing and the ways in which you can get intimate with those you love and trust. Open yourself up to new areas for resources and be willing to share and receive what is available. Find time to break cycles that keep you in harmful patterns. You are like a snake, constantly shedding skin.

Journal prompts: What have I been avoiding? Where could I use more intimacy? How can I find resolution or break old habits? Where does my magick lie? Who do I need to make peace with?

Cancer & cancer Rising

7th House | Duality

The tone shifts from the Full Moon to the New Moon, where you focus on the “we.” Over the last many years, you have been dealing with Pluto going through your 7th House, restructuring your relations with others. This impacts how you engage in the world around you — and most importantly your one-on-one dynamics. So this New Moon brings an opportunity to make changes on the partnership or relationship front.

Your 7th House is being emphasized right now, which places attention on the “others” in our lives. You could be thinking about boundaries, connection, and how you fit into said relationship(s). Now, keep in mind, this isn’t always a romantic relationship. This is about a union of any kind — business partner, close friendship, etc. You may be more willing with the give and take — just know to keep a balance. If you are single, this is can be a time to meet someone. If you are in a relationship and happy, you may want to continue to cultivate greater reciprocity or commitment. Now, here’s the thing about 7th House transits, if you are UNHAPPY, then know that a new beginning may be sparked by an ending (but of course, it will be for the best in the end). Only you know the intricacies of this relationship or how it may play out for you. Ultimately, the 7th House is about restoring balance in your life on every level. Saturn is the ruler of this New Moon. In the last few years, it has been teaching you lessons around intimacy, sharing, and dealing with your shadows. Luckily, this lunation can mark a turning point in these lessons or teachings.

Jupiter is sitting at the top of your chart and squares this lunation. This is actually making you quite visible, whether you are ready for it or not. There is something to be said about stepping out into that spotlight a bit. You can’t avoid the attention, so embrace it. There may be something going on around the work front or in relation to your goals. You may feel at odds with what is transpiring but Jupiter reminds us to have faith. It could be an incredible opportunity for you. Venus comes sweeping in with Uranus to say that an important connection or person is extremely supportive at this time. You are not alone. Additionally, if there is a chance to collaborate or co-create, do it! Unexpected joys may arise for you as you do.

Use this New Moon to start something new with other people in your life. Enact boundaries and keep them. Stand up for yourself. Form new relationships and alliances. Strengthen the partnerships that truly matter. Try to make connections that feel inspiring and exciting. Recommit to someone or something and restore a balance in your life.

Journal prompts: Who or what needs my attention right now? Where could I engage in better boundaries? How can I welcome more balance into my life? Where can I use more reciprocity? How can I better honor others and better honor myself?

LEO TO SCORPIO

Leo & Leo Rising

6th House | Nourishment

You are taking things slow right now. You have been making changes to your daily routine and your life, in general, even in subtle ways. But it seems that the day-to-day operations are what is making the most impact. You are looking to take more ownership and control of your daily affairs. You may be finding your way in a new job or simply just settling into a new routine.

This New Moon falls in your 6th House, and all of this lies here. In addition, health could be a focus, too. You may be trying to do better and be better to your body. A New Moon in your 6th House is an excellent time to look for work and to start routines that you want to carry with you into the long term. Take time to reorganize your intentions and priorities for the upcoming weeks or even the year. In the process of committing to a few plans or ideas, you can be flexible. You don’t have to feel fixed on whatever you decide forever. Actually, you have been learning the lessons of commitment, for better or worse, over the last few years. Saturn has been transiting your 7th House and now it gains focus at this New Moon. Understand that commitments are elastic. By giving yourself the grace to change your mind and pivot, you are honoring your ongoing evolution. On top of this, as Saturn prepares to leave your 7th House in March, it may be time to consider where you could use help and share the burdens of responsibility with others.

Jupiter is sitting in your 9th House squaring this lunation. In the process of rewriting your routines, you may be wanting to take opportunities to try new things or break out of the monotony of life. However you could feel that it just isn’t time yet. There may be a fear or limitation associated with the lack of growth you feel in the moment. Luckily, Venus and Uranus are quite helpful at this time, adding a bit of fun and whimsy to your life. Spontaneous energy is likely — so one way to break out of the boredom you feel is to start with small daily adventures. Uranus can also add an unexpected (positive) turn around to your work or career. However, this will require putting yourself out there a little more. Any new projects or clients may be a bit more aligned with you or just exciting overall.

Use this New Moon to focus on your schedule, routines, and daily life. Try to rearrange things to make it work for you. Don’t be afraid to state your needs and listen to your body more. Follow the moments where whimsy and playfulness can set in. Maybe that is the variety to your routine that you are really seeking.

Journal prompts: What skills have I not tapped into in a while? Where could I be better with my health, diet or body? How can I build routines that align with myself? Where can I use more self-care? How can I adapt to new areas of my life differently?

Virgo & Virgo Rising

5th House | Expression

Right now, you are receiving reminders of what it means to focus on your own joy — and we have a New Moon in Capricorn, that is helping you with this. With a New Moon in a fellow Earth sign, the energy is more natural and receptive. You can easily accept whatever comes, as it is a reflection of your own element.

This lunation falls in your 5th House, so your mind will be on creativity, joy, happiness, creation, and possibly even love. You may get a wind of inspiration that rolls through and empowers you. You know that your happiness is essential, and now that is more clear than ever. What this New Moon invites you to do is reflect on what brings you pleasure and play in life. You have to connect with that inner child and open yourself up to the fun in life. Let loose a little and relax your shoulders. If you have kids, this would be an ideal New Moon to connect with them. If you are looking to conceive, this lunation is good for that, too. Of course, this isn’t just conception of human life, but also a conception of an idea or even a romance! Saturn is the ruler of this lunation, and it has been sitting in your 6th House for the last few years. Changes to work, routines, and even your health have been prominent. Now, you can sort of take a moment to breathe. This is a chance to see how far you have come recently! All of your hard work or building hasn’t been fruitless.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 8th House. Creativity or dreams may be met with fear. Perhaps you feel indebted or tied to something/someone that doesn’t allow you to express yourself as wildly as you’d like. Alternatively, you may feel you need to re-evaluate who you spend your resources on. Take care not to get immobilized. With Venus and Uranus in a trine, there is a level of taking a risk that feels right. You have to trust yourself enough to know that even if you can’t see it, everything will work out. This aspect also supports playfulness and just celebrating how you show up in the world. Be proud of yourself! Unexpected joys will show up if you allow them to.

Use this New Moon to open yourself creatively. Follow your passions and listen to your heart. Go with what sets your soul ablaze and don’t let anyone stop you. Give voice to your happiness and your joy. You can take up space, it doesn’t mean that someone else doesn’t get their share, too. Start a creative project and just genuinely allow yourself time to relax. Your heart is your guiding force. Where will it lead you?

Journal prompts: What do I want my inner child to know? Where could I use more play and fun? How can I give and receive love in new ways? Where should I welcome more spotlight and attention? How can I love myself differently?

Libra & Libra Rising

4th House | Preservation

This New Moon rushes in to show you how to find power in your softness and restructure your mentality around rest. For you Libra, it is time to come home. You may have been feeling unsettled at best, and this lunation will have you focused on taking a respite or just needing a little space to go within.

The New Moon in Capricorn turns your face toward your inner world, your emotional foundations, and your home/family. Especially as it sits in your 4th House, the area of roots and ancestry. You may be looking to move, buy, sell, or rent. You could be redecorating or just making your house more of a home. Alternatively, you may be more active with family matters or looking to have a quiet entrance into the Winter after a busy few weeks. If you are doing anything home-related and the process is a bit slower, know that it will see a turn of events in mid-January. The opportunities to rewrite traditions and redefine your relationship with lineage come up here as well. Saturn will lead this lunation from your 5th House. This has created quite a bit of buzz and possibly some learnings in areas of your life related to pleasure, creativity, children, and happiness! You have had to learn how to balance more than ever, and possibly all of your efforts are not in vain! Once it leaves in March, you will feel less burdened by experiencing leisure and joy.

With Jupiter square this lunation, relationships can feel especially growth-oriented. There is an opportunity to expand how you connect with others in your life and the important collaborations or partnerships you have created. Jupiter will be sitting in this area of your chart until May 2023. Watch how relationships change in the next few months. If you have been feeling any sort of lack or inequality, that will be highlighted. If you want more adventure, co-create it! You can truly deepen the bonds you have. Venus and Uranus are very helpful at this time, as they trine. Learning to open up more intimately and honestly will bring the security you seek. Venus builds pleasure in how you express your vulnerabilities. Surprises are likely when you don’t shy away from this.

Use this New Moon to focus on your home and family life. Redecorate, renovate, or move. Try resolving past issues with family that may be residual or seek to create better boundaries with them. Take time away to rest and reflect on this lunation. Lean into your nostalgia a bit and make peace with the past. Open yourself up to ancestral guidance, learn more about your lineage and connect with those you love — living or deceased. Know that you create the security and safety you seek.

Journal prompts: Where do I feel most secure? What does home mean to me? How can I create more sturdy foundations? Where should I welcome quiet or peace? What needs to be explored in my roots, lineage or family dynamic?

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

3rd House | Integration

You are a Fixed sign, and in the last while, Fixed energy has been going through it a bit. There have been many ups and downs, especially with eclipses, Saturn squaring, and Uranus opposite your sign. However, this New Moon in Capricorn comes in to nourish and heal.

It will fall in your 3rd House, so communication and dialogue will be extremely important. This is really not a time to mince your words or hold back. Instead, you have to be more open with saying what’s on your mind and heart — and more so, also be receptive to what others have to say. People are listening, but in all reality, you should be listening too. This is a time of gathering information and learning through your interactions with others. You may hear some interesting news at this time. Additionally, be careful of overbooking yourself. Busyness is likely. As we enter this New Moon, Saturn will be placed in a prominent position as the leader of this lunation. It has spent some time in your 4th House, where you have been restructuring your idea of home, family, and your emotional foundations. We are nearing (but not yet) the end of this Saturn transit. By March, you will be grounding yourself more in your home or idea of security. Laying roots can feel nourishing. Consider who your family is (chosen or given) and what it means to have that support system.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 6th House, so definitely understand that where you are now is not the end all be all. Jupiter may pile on busyness in your daily life, and so you could be having problems seeing the bigger picture. Try to free up your time and add focus to creating flexibility in your routines. Luckily, Jupiter’s influence can be quite healing and responsive — especially if you are feeling under the weather or recovering from anything health-related. On top of this, Venus and Uranus will be adding some adventure and spontaneity to this lunation. Having important conversations with collaborators, partners, or close relationships can be inspiring — perhaps even leading to surprising outcomes! Follow the feel and share with those around you.

Use this New Moon to really leverage your voice. Get in touch with those around you and share what is on your mind. Write things down and find ways to deal with the busy life you are surrounded by. Try to quiet those voices in your head that hold you back and seek help for any anxiety you may be taking on or hold. Perspective is everything. You need to see things a little differently.

Journal prompts: What do I have a hard time talking about? Where could I listen more? Who do should I be (re)connecting with? What keeps me from using my voice? Who do I value as a confidant and why?

SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

2nd House | Stability

With Mars opposite your sign, you could be feeling a need to slow down and enjoy what is right in front of you. The Full Moon earlier this month had your mind on others, shared experiences, and connections – but now this New Moon will change that. You will be more focused on self-reliance and your personal power.

The New Moon falls in your 2nd House, where income, material possession, self-worth, value, and critical self-understanding lie. Here, we take a stand. If you are looking for new sources of income or a promotion, this could be a good lunation for you to do so, but it won’t come without work. I think it would be best to encourage you to think about what you value and why. What is important to you and how does that impact your daily life? Understanding your self-worth and your morals is helpful as you navigate all of the changes that have been occurring lately. You can’t be caught up in ambiguity anymore. Redefine the attitude toward success. Your self-worth does come into play here, as you may need to be creative and flexible in learning to see yourself in a new light. When was the last time you truly had pride in what you do and talked yourself up? Take a moment to see how much more stable you are now than you have been in the last few years. With Saturn as the leader of this New Moon, you have been learning to use your voice a little differently — possibly even restructuring your perspective and assessing how you engage in this world. We are starting to see some major moves in terms of your local community and how you connect with others as well.

Jupiter, your ruler, squares this New Moon from your 5th House. Creatively and magnetically, you are on fire. Even if you are ready for a new chapter or to take a risk, it may come with some fear of snot seeming ready. Jupiter is helping you express yourself well and asking for you to lean into joy, pleasure, and doing what makes you happy. The 5th House also rules children and conception, making this an ideal lunation for conceiving anything — a project, an idea, a baby, or even a romance. Venus adds to the idea of pleasure as it trines Uranus. There is an air of unpredictability and spontaneity to this energy. You could unexpectedly receive an increase to your resources or have a major shift in perspective regarding your value and self-worth. Someone that you worked with in the past could even be the reason for this new resource or potential income. Lastly, this may be a bonus/tip tied to your output with your work.

Use this New Moon to get a handle on your resources, material and otherwise. Figure out how to spend your energy — and on what. See what potential opportunities arise around money and try to network with people to see if newer clients or work can come up. Comb through the things you own and purge what isn’t good for you anymore. But above all else, focus on how to call back your power, your self-worth and your potential. You have to let go of what stands in the way of you seeing your true value.

Journal prompts: What is scarcity vs security to me? Where could I release comforts more? What do I not value enough in myself? If money was no object, what would I do? Where does my self-worth lack in life? Why is this so?

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

1st House | Motivation

You have been working so hard behind the scenes and now we are reaching a breakout moment. A New Moon is always a good time to start a new cycle, but when it falls in your sign, what you begin is entirely up to you.

This New Moon falls in your 1st House turning your attention toward your individuality, motivations, identity and self. What keeps you going? Who are you and how do you show that to others? These are good questions to ask yourself because you are now in a place where you can change perceptions. This is a time for show and tell — show them who you are, and if they don’t understand, tell them. Make no mistake, you have the floor. There is a spotlight on you, and you are coming into your own. The ask here is that you do what FEELS right. You can begin again and set yourself up for future success, but this may require a little introspection first. This is the time to welcome more autonomy, seek out personal motivations and establish (loose) goals that you want to achieve this year. You are ruled by Saturn, so its influence is one that you know well. At this New Moon, Saturn will take the lead. Since 2020, Saturn has been helping you get more focused/grounded with your finances and elevate your self-worth. After many ups and downs, some restructuring, and personal changes, you can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. By March, this part of your chart will be much clearer.

Interestingly, Jupiter squares this New Moon from your 4th House. There could be a family-related issue that needs your immediate attention or maybe you are looking to make some changes at home. You may have to deal with some tension or challenges that require you to assess what you really want out of your home, family, or safety net. Jupiter will bring beneficial outcomes, so even if it feels uncomfortable at first, things will turn out ok in the end. Venus, in your sign, will trine Uranus, adding some flair to this New Moon. You could be really looking to break out of your comfort zone more. Uranus supports this. It seems you are the harbinger of some surprises and really asked to trust yourself as you act a bit more spontaneously.

Use this New Moon to call back your power. Stand in your body and fully own who you are. Run for what you want and start a new cycle in your being. Seek wholeness in your identity and share yourself unapologetically. Give yourself space for freedom and open the doors to change. Don’t resist what unfolds, instead leap into it. Embrace the present. Reconnect with your happiness and motivations. What fuels you? What gives you life? Work on re-engaging with your needs.

Journal prompts: What motivates me? Where could I use better boundaries? What am I passionate about? How is my relationship with myself? Where could I use more spontaneity or adventure in life?

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

12th House | Restoration

A call to quiet. You are itching for peace and a slower pace now. You have been working so hard the last few weeks. A demanding schedule for you, or anyone, can be taxing. However, this New Moon invites you to find more serenity in your life. Sometimes, peace is created, not found.

It is time to withdraw a bit. You know your time is coming, but Capricorn Season highlights a time to go within and take time to rest. This New Moon is no different. It falls in your 12th House, bringing something to a close and asking for respite. You could be working behind the scenes on a project, finishing up something personal or even just taking some time off. The 12th House asks for you to get in touch with your intuition and pay attention to your dreams. You could be re-engaging with a more spiritual and hidden aspect of yourself now. You are asked to have faith and let go of control. Surrender and restoration are the themes of this lunation. You are co-ruled by Saturn, a planet of responsibility and structure. However, you tend to be the one that takes that structure and bends it to work for you. At this New Moon, Saturn will take the lead. It has been sitting in your 1st House since 2020, and you have done a lot of work to rediscover pieces of yourself. This has not been an easy feat, as you have had a lot of personal rebuilding to do. Once March comes, you will be relieved of some of that pressure and see a new you with far more clarity. This is only the start of that re-emergence.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 3rd House, so there may be general busyness or anxiety that is preventing you from actually relaxing or letting go. However, this is only temporary. The limits in your mind have no home here. Jupiter will help you reach beyond said limits for the next few months, giving you a chance at seeing a new perspective and inspiring new ideas. Venus will trine Uranus, your other ruler, at this time, too. Here Venus will bring an unexpected sense of calm or peace if you are willing to lean into it. The more you actually choose to surrender, the better you will be. Positive, unexpected surprises may arise when you relinquish control.

Use this New Moon to really bring yourself in. Take time to reflect, rest, and create your peace. Don’t let anyone or anything take that away from you. Focus on what you can receive and what you can release. This lunation is potent for you — finally closing a door, even if it isn’t easy. Some decisions aren’t to be made lightly, but you know in your heart what the outcomes will be. Take care of yourself.

Journal prompts: What is anxiety vs intuition? Where could I use let go more? What door needs to close? How can I find more forgiveness and grace? Where could I use more clarity in my life?

Pisces & Pisces Rising

11th House | Idealism

Building a community can be important, as it reminds you that you are not alone. Those around you have been there to build you up and help you when you need it most — even if you are afraid to ask. The New Moon in Capricorn comes in to show you that your friends have your back. This is a time for mutual support. The best thing you can do is allow people into your life, and to connect and converse.

The 11th House, where this lunation falls, also rules your hopes, dreams and wishes. So, the theme of this New Moon is about dreaming big and not allowing that to die. If you have a vision of what tomorrow can bring, use that to motivate you toward your future. Nurture feelings of optimism and blend that with your innate realism. This would also be a great time to reach out to friends and your outer network. You are likely to be invited out more and have people really looking to connect with you. The 11th House wants to see you enjoy those in your circle and be willing to meet new people. Saturn is the ruler of this lunation, and it has been sitting in your 12th House for quite some time. You are no stranger to the 12th House, as you naturally rule it. However, having the taskmaster there can feel a bit restrictive or overwhelming at times. Saturn has been teaching you the value of letting go, releasing, closing doors, and resting. Luckily, this is coming to a close soon as Saturn will move into your sign in March of 2023 (that brings a slew of different changes your way).

Jupiter is square this New Moon from your 2nd House. So uncertainty around resources or value can come up. Perhaps there is an issue with security and trying to grow that but feeling that it may be at the expense of your happiness. However, maybe it doesn’t have to be. Your worth isn’t tied to your output or your resources at all. There is abundance in community, connections, relationships, and how you give and receive support out in the world. Venus and Uranus emphasize this further, by reminding you how truly respected you are by those in your circle. You could receive positively unexpected news or information around this time. New contacts can pop up now, too. You may feel busy or in demand in some way. Uranus is ensuring that you are finding the right people and the right words. Dialogue and conversations are a point of growth. Do not be afraid to share how you feel.

Use this New Moon to open yourself to possibility. It is time to ask for help and see that the future is co-created. It requires that you have the will to seek support. Everything is in flux, but the outcome will present itself soon. Things may come and go in life, but focus on the people that remain constant. Your life is fuller and richer with those that you collaborate and connect with.

Journal prompts: Where do I find community? What does support me to me? How can I be better about asking for help? What are my dreams and aspirations? Where could I use more connection in my life?
