The New Moon in Gemini 24º falls on June 14th at 10:54 PM ET.
With a gust of wind, the doors are swung open wide —waiting for you to walk through. This is exactly what the New Moon in Gemini is inviting in. This New Moon is one where we seek clarity of mind and space. The Gemini energy surrounding this lunation shows us that words hold power, and with that, we can speak our realities into existence. Like the Magician, we create our futures by integrating and amalgamating into our lives everything we have learned up to this moment. We float on the exhale of every word and wrap ourselves around our ideas, nurturing them as they take flight. Altogether, we rise higher and higher while maintaining control of our path.
Mercury is the leader of this New Moon, emphasizing the need to communicate, express, and speak: we can change everything with a single word. Mercury is active through its transits, empowered by Mars, while moving toward a conjunction to Jupiter. We can’t lack conviction to speak openly with confidence, words matter and people are listening. Mercury invites us to open up, speaking with truth and honesty above all else.
The New Moon brings with it Venus in Leo, which is supported by most of the outer planets. With many of them now transiting new signs, we are asked to do things differently than we have in the past. Venus connects with Uranus and Neptune to create a powerhouse of energy. Each planet is asking that we leave behind outdated mentalities and old practices — replacing them with something new. Breaking from the status quo will give us the perspective shift we need to make the changes we desire.
This lunation is the last one before Mercury stations retrograde. Although we still have about two weeks before that happens, it is worth noting. What we have been working through will come up during the retrograde, but more importantly, now is the time to get things off the ground. There will be little to no hesitation or slow down. With Mercury getting a boost from Mars, it brings an electric current to this New Moon. We embody our desires and values now. We can see that ease isn’t so bad, and perhaps that is how we overcome our obstacles.
Remember the Gemini nature of flexibility and adaptability at this lunation. We can be where we are needed instead of forcing ourselves where we don’t belong.

The Full Moon in Sagittarius 9º falls on May 31st at 4:45 AM ET.
The Sun shines on the Moon, reminding us that release and growth go hand in hand. We reflect the dichotomy of our natures with a Full Moon: the internal & external—intimate & exposed. The fact that it falls in Sagittarius should not go unnoticed, as expansion results from what is to come. When faced with adversity or limitation, Sagittarius pushes beyond all barriers to reach its highest point — and even then, it keeps going. We can start to see things for what they are, and there is no mistaking. We must step back and see the big picture. What has really transpired in the last few weeks? How does this relate to my life overall?
Jupiter, the benevolent, is the leader of this Full Moon. Wherever it touches, we see potential and growth — removing all obstacles that may stand in our way. Jupiter is in the last month of its transit in Cancer, and we see that things around us become nourished by its abundance.
