Taurus New Moon Miniscopes
Taurus New
Moon Miniscopes
Welcoming Ease.
The New Moon is in Taurus 28º on May 19th at 11:53 AM ET. As we prepare for the end of Taurus Season, we are gifted a New Moon that can cleanse and nurture the wounds we faced at the eclipse in Scorpio. We find ourselves out of Eclipse Season and now on new ground. Our Garden of Eden is restored, and we find the snake did not damn us. Instead, it opened the door to see reality, no matter how harsh.
This New Moon links arms with Mars and touches Neptune while reaching out to Pluto. This time, we are no longer limited by fear; instead, we see that we can expand and push beyond the restrictions that were originally placed upon us. Where we walk, flowers bloom. Our roots are solid, and now we reach for the highest heavens.
The Moon is exalted in Taurus, working at its best. Emotionally, we are grounded yet receptive – nourishing the Earth like a river flowing through the valley. Where the water touches, all is refreshed, restored, and renewed. Venus is the leader of this lunation, incubating in Cancer, yet feeling rather neutral, leaving room for healing. Mars and Jupiter speak to one another, bringing action to our intentions and surprising us with how quickly our trees bear fruit for us to eat. Our hard work is paying off; perhaps we can rest our heads in the grass and feel the warm Sun on our faces.
Saturn is stabilizing us, this time with no restraint, as it works with Mercury in grounded Taurus. This meeting of planets will leave us with no shortage of ideas, riffing off of the Mars/Jupiter square – a stark contrast to the experience we had with the recent Lunar Eclipse. Life feels more in flow, leading us to listen to the breeze through the trees and taste the sweetness in the Spring air once more. Seek pleasure and joy, and from this abundance will follow – especially now that Jupiter will tour earthy Taurus.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 23º to 29º or 0º to 3º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Fixed placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

This New Moon is in your 2nd House, so your focus can be turned toward resources. Are you being valued for your work? What is your compensation like, even outside of income? Remain grounded in your approach, but charge ahead knowing that you can grow an abundant garden from all that you decide to plant. A major theme around personal value and worthiness may creep up — take the helm of this and own every facet of your talents and your experience.
The Sun and Moon are powerful players as they touch on Pluto, Mars, and Neptune in a positive way. Together, these reciprocal relationships create great harmony around this lunation. A shining star of this New Moon is the newly minted Jupiter in Taurus transit. Consider this the kick of that transit, as it thrusts open the doors of what the year ahead will hold as Jupiter moves through your 2nd House of resources, income, value, and self-worth. Many of you will see a positive change to your resources.
Mercury has been moving in and out of a flowing relationship with Saturn. Mercury will continue to play well with Saturn at this New Moon, suggesting that conversations had will be ones that are inspiring and yield long-term decisions for the better. Think back to early April and what you were discussing or talking about then, this will come back around — especially as Mercury moves through its post-retrograde shadow period.
Use this New Moon to focus on your value and worth. Make changes to how you view money and abundance. Find new or additional resources or income. Above all else, cultivate a better relationship with yourself and your self-worth.

1st House | Autonomy
Happy New Moon, Taurus! This one can be golden for you! It falls in your sign, and the Moon LOVES being in your sign. It stabilizes the fluctuating energy of the Moon and taps into its nourishing abilities — especially since this one is the first to not be an eclipse since late 2021! Right now, what you should be looking to nourish is yourself.
This lunation falls in your 1st House, bringing you back to your place in this world. Who are you? What do you want? You have been dealing with tough transits from Saturn and Uranus for the last year or so, but now you may have been shedding old skin in order to release what isn’t working for you. This lunation will give you a chance to find what WILL work for you. You get to decide how you live your life and make strides in building a new you. Now is the time to be unapologetically yourself. Celebrate your individuality. Take pride in where you are right now.
The Sun and Moon are truly the peacemakers at this New Moon. They trine Pluto and sextile Mars and Neptune. There is a dreaminess, an ease around this lunation that makes this one of the better New Moons of the year. Things will feel abundant and pleasurable. Truly there is a flow that we have not seen in a while. This is especially true as Jupiter is newly in your sign. You, for the next year, will be gifted golden opportunities. The planet of expansion and growth will ensure that you are ready to break out of your monotony a bit and move into new territory. It is time to steep yourself in all that you desire and embody whatever aspirations you have.
Since early April, Mercury and Saturn have been moving in and out of a harmonious aspect to one another. Now, this aspect perfects at this lunation and begins to separate. Conversations you had then will come up now or find a resolution or next steps. With Mercury playing well with Saturn, you could see a friend or close contact show up for you in a great way! Get out and connect if you can and it is safe for you to do so!
Use this New Moon to get in touch with yourself, your desires, and your motivations. Ask yourself who you want to be. Focus on how you can act on what you want and make space for your goals. It is your turn.
Gemini & Gemini Rising
12th House | Seclusion
Gemini, take time to rest. Please! We are heading into your season shortly, but first, we have the New Moon and the end of the eclipse season. So, you are trying to balance that very full plate of yours. There is a feeling of being run down, tired, and needing space to recollect yourself. Honestly, you need to listen to that feeling!
This New Moon is perfectly positioned in your 12th House, so right now is a time to find a balance in work, pleasure, play, and rest. Work quietly behind the scenes and slow down. You are turning inward and focused on preserving your energy. You know you will be expending a lot of it soon. The 12th House can bring insights that we were not privy to before. So, you may discover information that was hidden from view. Now is a time to listen to your intuition and focus on how to best navigate quietly. If you need a respite, take it! Lean into that ease.
Truly, I can not remark on how beautiful this lunation is. The Sun and Moon will touch on Pluto, Neptune, and Mars so perfectly. There are relationships being built between them that create an ultimate sense of flow around this New Moon. With some of your financial Houses being impacted, you could receive some good news in regard to work, resources, clients, or even work on your own relationship with success. This could not be more true as Jupiter is now in Taurus. For the next year, you will find that you will be shown moments of knowing when and where to let go, surrender, and listen to your intuition. Jupiter will bring gifts and reward the more you lean into your inner sanctum and learn to prioritize your sense of rest and ease. Your spiritual life can and probably will take new heights!
Mercury has been weaving in and out of a longer narrative with Saturn in the last many weeks. Positively so, I should mention. Mercury’s sextile to Saturn at this New Moon will be perfected, pulling you back to conversations or ideas that were happening in early April. There may be a motivating conversation that leaves you feeling recognized, witnessed, or valued. Money could come up as well, and it seems to be focused on deepening your security.
Use this New Moon to bring a chapter to a close. Find space to open new doors and explore possibilities. You can get further in touch with your faith, spirituality, or intuition — possibly even using this to inform and guide you. Most importantly, use this New Moon to give yourself a place to rest, finding peace and resolution in anything that feels that it is pending.

11th House | Vision
We enter the abundant New Moon in Taurus, where you will have endless support. This lunation is unlike many others we have experienced in the last 18 months, it is no longer an eclipse. So this feels, in so many ways, like a fresh start. So many aspects align to make this New Moon a powerhouse with added excitement!
With this lunation hanging out in your 11th House, you will be looking at your connections and friends as a way to help you feel valued and supported. You may even just want to catch up with people, feeling a little more social than normal. The Moon, your ruler, will be in exaltation, bringing you emotional grounding. You are realizing that community is becoming increasingly important to you, and you may be trying to find where you want to align yourself. Budding friendships become lasting ones, and old friends are showing up left and right. Bask in this! People are showing you love, and you deserve that. Support seems like magic — and abundance is found in community. Nurture those reciprocal relationships. Because the 11th Hosue deals with hopes and dreams, it feels that something is coming to light in a whole new way — and this may even be in relation to your future. Maybe you are being asked to shift your priorities to make way for something more exciting!
The Sun and Moon play nicely with Pluto, Mars, and Neptune. They all together create an intricate web of flowing energy that extends out beyond them. There’s a natural ease at this lunation that has not been seen in a while. You will find that you are quite motivated around this New Moon, and that will set the tone for the weeks to come. Jupiter has also freshly moved into Taurus. This supple energy helps you grow your network, your long-term visions, and your sense of community. For the next year, you will meet the right people at the right time, and you will be given the chance to engage in true reciprocity. It is time to share your gifts with the world!
Mercury and Saturn have been talking to one another on and off for the last many weeks, moving in and out of a sextile. Think back to the Full Moon in Libra that was on April 6th. Whatever you were discussing then will come back around now, but this time with a resolution and a long-term plan. You will feel more grounded in your decisions.
Use this New Moon to focus on community and ways that you can use your innate talents to help others. Find networks and groups that you can connect with and re-establish bonds with friends. Possibly even throw your partner into the mix or start a new relationship (romantically, business-wise, or even platonically).

10th House | Drive
This season had you working hard! However, there may have been points of refining and reflecting, especially as Mercury had stationed retrograde. But now that we are out of this retrograde and eclipse season, you are starting to see things a bit more clearly.

You are becoming more aware of your direction and what you want! With the Moon in exaltation, you are fully supported in your efforts, too! Nothing is in vain. The right people are taking notice. If you do change jobs or careers, you may find that the work you want to do will be something completely different or distinct. Perhaps that is the change you want, too! Alternatively, some of you may make discoveries about your passions that drive you into a new field or up the ladder into a new role/position. Whatever it is, a career or work-related matter seems to be at the forefront of your mind.
This dose of goodness in your career, legacy, and professional life doesn’t end at this New Moon. If anything, it only just begins. Jupiter has now entered this part of your chart, where you will see exponential growth in your work in the coming year. Recognition will not be hard to come by, nor will a sense of satisfaction in your own creations. Whatever you want to be known for, you will start to see those pieces come together. This lunation has extra support, as well. It reaches out to Mars, Neptune, and Pluto — creating an ocean of flowing energy around us. You will see that nothing is as hard as it seems, and in some ways, some obstacles may be brought down.
Think back to around April 6th and the days around it. Since then we have had Mercury and Saturn moving in and out of a positive relationship with one another. This relationship perfects on this New Moon, making this a chance to crystalize and solidify what we have been doing for the last few weeks. Consider this a space of longevity and perhaps empowerment.
Use this New Moon to focus on your career goals and your direction in life. Realign yourself with what you want and let go of what is not worth your energy. If you walk away from a job, a new one is just around the corner. If you choose to rise through the ranks, you are being noticed. Ask for what you deserve.

9th House | Expansion
You are reaching new heights! You have recently taken a leap of faith, and you know that there is no way you can go back now! This New Moon may not be an eclipse, but it is one that opens doors of opportunity and creates possibility — a portal into something new. For you, in particular, you will see that obstacles that were once present begin to dissipate. Perhaps this is a change of perspective or maybe roads starting to open for you.
With this New Moon in your 9th House, you are actively growing and trying new things! You are taking the experience you have had and applying it future-forward. Now is a time to be bold and optimistic about the journey that lies ahead. You will likely see your goals more clearly than you have in a long time and thus change your priorities in achieving them. Nothing is too far out of reach. All it takes is a little faith.
Jupiter’s entrance into Taurus will help this along. For the next year, it will support you in any decisions you make that allow you to reach beyond your current limitations. This is no time to make yourself small, instead, you can dream big — and know it can come to fruition. Jupiter gifts ease wherever it sits, and in the 9th House, this is the ease of achievement, travel, and growth. You will feel abundant when you do things a little differently. The New Moon is incredibly supported by Pluto, Neptune, and Mars. So you will find that the energy around this lunation is much softer and more jubilant than the last few we have had. Really sit with this and soak it up. Enjoy the tender moments.
Your ruler, Mercury, has been in an on-and-off relationship with Saturn since early April. This perfects at this New Moon, solidifying what you have been working on for the last month or two. There may be a sense of closure, excitement, and commitment. With Saturn in your 7th House, someone may really show up right now. Don’t be bashful. Accept whatever comes your way. Collaboration and co-creation will be beneficial. Partnered relationships will also see a boost at this time!

8th House | Recuperation
We are in the ending stages of an eclipse series that impacts your finances and resources. You may have been taught lessons but also gifted opportunities around value, worth, and shared resources. As we finish out this cycle, you will see that a large part of this experience is to provide a sense of closure and conflict resolution. New pathways that you had not expected will open up.
The New Moon is in your 8th House, opening doors for resources that have been untapped or previously hidden. This could be emotional or material. Some of you may find out about an unexpected gain, whether through you or a partner, perhaps an inheritance, or some sort of windfall. Alternatively, you may find that you are working toward paying off debts and feeling more secure — that you don’t owe anything to anyone. This could also apply to how you feel about emotional debts, almost washing your hands of old situations or people that no longer serve you. This lunation may also bring about a transformation. One that has been a long time coming. In some ways, it will feel like a re-emergence — a butterfly coming out of its cocoon after a long period of reflection, healing, and dealing with shadows that have sat beneath the surface. Becoming more intimate and preserving your inner peace will be of the utmost importance.
With the New Moon at a good angle to Pluto, Neptune, and Mars, there is a sense that things are flowing — easier than they have been. In many ways, some of the fears or scarcity you’ve had around resources are starting to shift into a more abundant mindset. This could not be more true as Jupiter begins to enter Taurus, this occurs just days before the New Moon. For the next year, you will see quite a bit of growth in the space of your healing, intimacy, and inner power. As well as, recognizing new financial opportunities with you or even a partner. Some of you may see this in the form of a bonus, payout, inheritance, or debt relief!
Mercury and Saturn have been supportive of one another over the last few weeks, and they perfect their sextile on the day of this New Moon. There can be a sense of long-term influence and a more grounded approach, especially in regard to your work, health, and daily routines. You may even find that there is a call here to be softer with yourself. Perhaps with you and your body. Movement focused on ease will serve you best now.
Use this New Moon to explore your sexuality and your intimacy. Release old baggage and let go of fears that stand in the way. Find alternative resources and apply for grants, mortgages, and loans! It’s time to transform your outlook. It is time to call back your power! Healing, grieving, and shadow work are a must now.

7th House | Inclusion
You have been one of the two stars of the last year. The eclipse series has been sitting in your sign and your polarity, creating waves and pathways that were not present to you before. You may have seen your life change in ways you had not expected. Some of you may have taken on more autonomy and independence and/or changed how you engage in your relationships. Others have seen growth opportunities and significant relationships strengthen. Whatever it is, there has been a flowing exchange of energy that has led to massive personal growth.

Some of you may dissolve broken or irreparable relationships, others will get closer — forming impenetrable bonds. You are seeing the value in the give and take and understanding your boundaries in a new way. If you are seeking out a new relationship, it is likely you will find it. Alternatively, the relationship you’re working on could be one with yourself. Sometimes we think that we need to find “wholeness” through others and forget that we are whole on our own. So, consider this New Moon an exploration of what you need, deserve, and desire. Understanding your boundaries and seeing how you fit into the picture will be pertinent. With the Moon exalted, it seems that sharing a part of your life with others can be very reassuring and grounding. You don’t need to be mysterious all the time.
