Leo Full
Moon Miniscopes

Golden Moments.

The Full Moon falls at 5º Leo, 12:54 PM ET on January 25th. Even in the heart of Winter, we can find some warmth and joy — and this Full Moon may be just the thing we need to figure that out. It is said that a Leo Full Moon is one of the best for manifestation and setting new intentions. Like Taurus, Leo focuses on turning all they wish for into reality, and Leo sees potential. They spark the fire and fan the flames. So, what flames are you trying to get to burn brighter? What fire are you stoking?

The Sun leads this lunation, shining brilliantly on the Moon, lighting up the sky, even in the darkest moments. The positive side of the Sun being the leader is that it never retrogrades, and it is Fixed itself. So, we can charge ahead confidently with our eye on the prize, even in the face of adversity. The Sun and Moon both square Jupiter, spurring us into action. The feeling can be expansive, limitless, and abundant at this time, but perhaps we can find ourselves being overzealous, as well.

We are about two months of eclipse season beginning again, so this is a space where the arc of change is at an all-time high, and the through-line is knowing we have to see it through to the other side. Sometimes, we know we don’t always have control over external events, but what the Moon in Leo tells us is that we have control over how we react to and act in, those events. We can either take up space and gain more pride, or sit in the dark… in fear. Allow the Sun to shine through the cloud, and if you feel there’s no other way? Dive below, hoping to avoid getting caught up in the nebula. If we remain forward-moving, leading with our hearts, anything can be possible. We just have to accept that there may be a bit of a risk to get there.

Mercury and Mars are playful siblings, and they support one another. There is a huge alignment and shift within us in our general life approach. Recreation and focus come to mind. Our ideas are moved by action and passion, a spark being lit by Mars’ fire, that sets ablaze our need to act. Mercury and Mars will push us to move and assert the need to liberate and connect, especially as they trine Uranus. Mercury can be charming, ensuring that there is room for everyone and sharing with people along the way. Together, this edgy union will deliver the confidence and courage we need to walk into this year

May you light up a room in the face of fear, and shine brilliantly in the dark.

May you never dim your light so that others can shine brighter.

If there is one thing we learn from Aquarius Season, it is that there is room for all of us. Share the stage, but never stop taking up the space you deserve.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 0º to 10º, you will feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Especially those with strong Fixed placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

Passion leads to adventure. It seems you have been coming back to find what brings you joy and what you love. This is very important, as you may have lost your way in the last few weeks, months, or even year. However, you are getting your groove back and that is very apparent.

This Full Moon comes to shine a light on your 5th House, and creativity is abundant now. You are called to see what sits right in front of you in this present moment. This isn’t about tomorrow or yesterday— just today. This can be hard for you, as you are a visionary. But slowing down and seeing what is here and now can actually inspire you. The 5th House rules creativity, conception, children, expression, love, and happiness. These areas will be highlighted. You are being called back to your passions and what drives you. You may be at a creative high, and you should follow that energy. However, you may also be doubting yourself a bit. Sometimes finding your way back to what you love isn’t easy. It takes courage and heart to make it there.

Jupiter is square this Full Moon from your 2nd House. So uncertainty around resources or value can come up. Perhaps there is an issue with security and trying to grow that but feeling that it may be at the expense of your happiness. However, maybe it doesn’t have to be. Your worth isn’t tied to your output or your resources at all. There is abundance in community, connections, relationships, and how you give and receive support out in the world.

Mercury and Mars connect while reaching out to Uranus, as well during this lunation. This sets you up for some unexpected success on the work front or with your long-term goals. You may find that you receive some recognition or attention at this time. Work is very busy for you currently, so this attention is welcomed. You may also be thinking a lot about how your actions impact the world around you — perhaps wondering what kind of legacy you hope to leave.

Use this Full Moon to open yourself creatively. Follow your passions and listen to your heart. Go with what sets your soul ablaze and don’t let anyone stop you. Give voice to your happiness and your joy. You can take up space, it doesn’t mean that someone else doesn’t get their share, too. Your heart is your guiding force. Where will it lead you?

Taurus & Taurus Rising

If you have been feeling a little withdrawn lately, that is ok. Go with it. It seems that there has been so much emphasis on your work, career, and life direction—that it may be time to come home and tend to yourself in some way.

This Full Moon falls in your 4th House at the bottom of your chart, and you need some TLC. You have a very “work” mentality, but rest can be equally as important. After a busy time of year, you can call it all inward. You may be connecting with family, doing a little redecorating, moving, or working with your ancestors. This Full Moon is perfect for all things domestic and getting organized on the home front. You may be focusing on what matters to you and trying to create a better work/life balance.

A key player at this lunation is Jupiter. Jupiter squares the Full Moon, creating a potential obstacle or even making us a bit overzealous. Jupiter is in your 1st House, so there may be a bit of tension between your expression, identity, and motivation and how that relates to your career or current vocation. It may be that you are ready for your next move. Alternatively, you could just feel spread too thin. Perhaps you are taking on more than you need to right now. Really understand your limits and how they help your overall growth

Luckily, Mercury and Mars are very helpful to you as they meet in fellow Earth sign, Capricorn. This supports your desires for play and inner child work. As they reach out to Uranus, there can be a spontaneous or unexpected surprise that comes up. Go with it and follow the adventure.

Use this Full Moon for a little respite and bring it all home. Focus on your foundations. Listen to your emotional side and take moments of rest to help you recharge. Connect with family or your home in a new way. Redecorate, or even reorganize and donate old things around the house that you don’t want anymore!

Gemini & Gemini Rising

You are rarely short of ideas and now is no different. You have been in a period of seeking more growth, but sometimes growth can come in unique ways — potentially through interactions and dialogue. This is especially true with the Full Moon in Leo highlighting your 3rd House.

This is a House of communication, thought, and idea. You may feel the need to share more than usual and really tell people what is going on in your mind. You could be full of ideas and new inventions, thoughts, or concepts! Write them all down. You won’t want to lose track or lose sight of what is swirling around in that mind of yours. Now, a downside here could be increased busyness, as the 3rd House creates a flurry of little tasks that feel like they need to be tackled immediately. This can be difficult as it seems that you don’t want to miss something. There is a lot to keep track of, and with your mind racing it can be easy to have an oversight. Perspective will be really important for you. Try talking things out with someone—or have a friend or close friend hold you accountable to some of these tasks. Set alarms or ask for help where it is warranted. Communication is key now.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 12th House. Endings are not always as clear-cut as we think they should be. You are in the process of bringing something to a close or trying to tie up a loose end. Jupiter is going to show you how connected that ending is to other facets of your life. It may not be as simple as you would want it to be, but it doesn’t mean you should avoid it. As one door potentially closes, another will open — what door do you want it to be? Follow the spontaneous or serendipitous threads that arise around this lunation.

That spontaneity comes from the Mercury/Mars conjunction that reaches out so harmoniously to Uranus. There are moments where you will find immense healing in choosing to let things go. Words may escape you, but your transformations will need no announcement. It is clear you are evolving and becoming someone different — more aligned with yourself and deepest desires.

Use this Full Moon to leverage your voice. Get in touch with those around you and share what is on your mind. Write things down and find ways to deal with the busy life you are surrounded by. Try to quiet those voices in your head that hold you back and seek help for any external stress you may be taking on or holding. Perspective is everything. You need to see things a little differently in order to get ahead.

Cancer & cancer Rising

Sometimes grounding is the best thing for you, especially in the face of all of the healing, changing, shifting, and opening you have been doing in the last few weeks. Aquarius Season has you focused on the shadow and descending deep to uncover what lies below. However, this Full Moon comes in with a chance to create a new foundation or a point of stability for you.

It will shine on your 2nd House, so money could be on your mind, but also your own valuation, resources and sense of security. You may have to release an expectation around where you find security during this Full Moon, but know that leaves you with more opportunity to seek alternative routes and sources. You could be focused on increasing what you have or making peace with what you don’t. Whatever it is, the key there is “making peace”. Sometimes, having more doesn’t always equate to what you need. Maybe asking for support is the thing that will pull you through now. You could have a lead that takes you to a new job, new client, or new opportunity. Focus on your expenses and maybe see what you can change about your spending habits. Now note this could also be your emotional resources…so perhaps you need to be better at how you spend your energy.

Jupiter squares this Full Moon from your 11th House. Perhaps there is a need to separate a bit from the influence of others or group-think. Not to say you can’t share or listen, but you may need to feel more rooted in your own values or ideas before taking them on from anyone else. Some people in your life may also be using more of your energy than intended. Alternatively, you could feel the push and pull between being seen and connected versus remaining incubated and quiet. Know that expansive moments come when we take a bit of a risk and try something new.

Mercury and Mars join hands in your 7th House. There is a positively direct way of communicating that you are embracing right now. People see it and respect it. Actually, in your close partnerships and relationships, this communication provides more clarity and intimacy than you could have imagined. You are surprising the people around you with your ideas and thoughts, especially as Uranus trines Mercury and Mars. Ultimately, these planets are gifting you clear direction and strength in your important relationships.

Use this Full Moon to get a handle on your resources, material and otherwise. Figure out how to spend your energy — and on what. See what potential opportunities arise around money and try to network with people to see if newer clients or work can come up. Comb through the things you own and purge what isn’t good for you anymore. Get your finances in order. But above all else, focus on how to call back your power, your self-worth and your potential. You have to let go of what stands in the way of you seeing your true value. You are worthy.

LEO TO SCORPIO

Leo & Leo Rising

We are bringing something to the culmination for you, Leo. Think back to August 2023 at the New Moon in your sign. What did you promise to yourself? What were your goals and motivations? Now you are being confronted with the same energy, but this time instead of sewing seeds, you are asked to release.

This Full Moon illuminates your 1st House of self and identity, a place you know all too well. You may have to reckon with yourself, your motives, and your desires. This isn’t always easy to do. You are carving out a new space for you to be more…you. This is important, as you have been working hard the last year to figure out what you actually want. You can clarify who you are now more than ever.

Jupiter is sitting at the top of your chart and squares this lunation. This is making you quite visible, whether you are ready for it or not. There is something to be said about stepping out into that spotlight a bit. You can’t avoid the attention, so embrace it. There may be something going on around the work front or concerning your goals. You may feel at odds with what is transpiring but Jupiter reminds us to have faith. It could be an incredible opportunity for you. Unexpected joys may arise for you as you expand beyond your limitations.

Mercury and Mars meet very closely in your 6th House, prompting you to consider your rituals and routines. You are feeling motivated to make some changes here and shift your day-to-day operations. These two are making your work life and personal life very busy, so remember to slow down and take care of yourself. Any projects that come your way will result in some unexpected praise and recognition. If you are self-employed and looking for new clients, make this your opportunity to just get out there and connect. You really are the star of the show right now.

Use this Full Moon to focus on what you want out of life. See what brings your joy, passion, and happiness. Seek out desires and don’t be afraid to make your needs known. Work on creating more balance in your life and enacting your boundaries. It is important. Instead of carrying the burdens, seek help. You have to release what no longer serves you now — whether that be a person, idea or something else. You are in the spotlight.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

You are itching for peace and a slower pace now. You have been working so hard the last few weeks — and the recently-over Mercury retrograde has thrown a lot of wrenches into the mix. You might have felt like you were not able to catch a break in some ways. A demanding schedule for you, or anyone, can be taxing. However, this Full Moon invites you to find more serenity in your life.

Sometimes, peace is created, not found. Your 12th House is being highlighted, a place of quiet and rest. You may feel a little run down or like you need some time away. Listen to your body. Because Full Moons signal release, you may be asked to close a door or let something go, as well. This isn’t always easy for you, but you know it will be better if you do.

Jupiter is sitting in your 9th House squaring this lunation. In the process of rewriting your routines, you may want to take opportunities to try new things or break out of the monotony of life. However, you could feel that it just isn’t time yet. There may be a fear or limitation associated with the lack of growth you feel in the moment. Don’t be stress so much, and try to focus on your joy. Spontaneous energy is likely — so one way to break out of the boredom you feel is to start with small daily adventures.

Mercury and Mars will ensure your joy is prioritized as well. They meet in your 5th House and remind you that filling your own cup can be just as necessary as anything else. Reconnecting with activities or people you love will be inspiring and essential. Uranus trines these two planets, making sure that there’s some whimsy and excitement to be had, as well. Perhaps some travel or an adventure is one its way!

Use this Full Moon to really bring yourself in. Take time to reflect, rest, and create your peace. Don’t let anyone or anything take that away from you. Focus on what you can receive and what you can release. This lunation is potent for you — finally closing a door, even if it isn’t easy. Some decisions aren’t to be made lightly, but you know in your heart what the outcomes will be. Take care of yourself.

Libra & Libra Rising

At this Full Moon, the big questions are: where do you find hope? Who is there to support you? You are someone who may often try to do things all on your own. But at what cost? As we enter this Full Moon, your hopes, dreams, wishes, network, and support system all come into focus — as this Full Moon falls in your 11th House. Who do you call upon in your time of need? We can’t be the stabilizing factor for others all the time. Sometimes, we need people to rally around us too.

Luckily, this Full Moon ensures that you have that. Friends are showing up for you, and a dream seems to be within reach. Yet, there is an air of uncertainty. You may even be readjusting who is in your community. You are in a period of growth, but it hasn’t been easy. This Full Moon comes to light up your 11th House and reminds you of the people you have in your corner.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 8th House. Creativity or dreams may be met with fear. Perhaps you feel indebted or tied to something/someone that doesn’t allow you to express yourself as wildly as you’d like. Alternatively, you may feel you need to re-evaluate who deserves your attention and who doesn’t. Take care not to get immobilized. Jupiter inspires risk. You have to trust yourself enough to know that even if you can’t see it, everything will work out. This aspect also supports playfulness and just celebrating how you show up in the world. Be proud of yourself! Unexpected joys will show up if you allow them to.

Mercury and Mars meet in your home and family life. There could be some exciting new frontiers that you are about to embark on here. Frank conversations and honest dialogues will be important. You may even hear some unexpected news concerning family, as well. Even if it feels initially a bit jarring, it will be for the best. You may find yourself feeling more liberated than ever before. Maybe all you needed was permission to not feel so weighed down. If that is the case, let this be that permission. If you have been hoping to make some home-related changes, these planets will all help, too. Lastly, as an aside, if you are dealing with real estate transactions, know that it will go more in your favor than you expect.

Use this Full Moon to call upon your friends and community. Seek help and ask for it when you need it. People will show up for you. Don’t falter in the face of fear or allow anyone to undermine you. Take control of your future and go in the direction of your dreams. Focus on what really matters to you. You create the outcome.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

What is the pinnacle for you? The Leo Full Moon usually turns your focus toward your outward life, publicity, and career. This also encompasses your direction and achievements. The last 6 months have had you working hard and making decisions that impacted your future — and now it seems that you are either beginning or about to begin a new phase.

This Full Moon falls in your 10th House that rules all of these things: career, direction and publicity. You may not realize it, but you are in a position of power right now. The ball is seemingly in your court. You are more visible than ever now — people are witnessing you. You could be going for a promotion, looking to switch careers, move, or even change what you do for work. Whatever it is, how you build foundation and security in the world is in focus.

With Jupiter square this lunation, relationships can feel especially growth-oriented. There is an opportunity to expand how you connect with others in your life and the important collaborations or partnerships you have created. Jupiter will be sitting in this area of your chart until late May 2024. Watch how relationships change in the next few months. If you have been feeling any sort of lack or inequality, that will be highlighted. If you want more adventure, co-create it! You can truly deepen the bonds you have. Learning to open up more intimately and honestly will bring the security you seek. Surprises are likely when you don’t shy away from this.

Mercury and Mars connect in your 3rd House, which will bring a flurry of activity to you and around you. You will find that people want to connect with you and speak with you. Although this may feel overwhelming at first, it can be healing for you to answer these calls. You may find that you are full of ideas and ready to share. Sharing will be key, as Mercury and Mars trine Uranus. A lot of inspiration and new connections/relationships are about to come your way!

Use this Full Moon to build a bridge for yourself. Focus on your next steps and your direction in life. Allow yourself to shine at work regardless of what others may say. If a job isn’t a good fit, then start looking around for something else. Work with your roots and nourish your foundations. Get intimate with your partner and dismantle the tensions that may arise. Create boundaries with anyone who tries to overstep. This is a pivotal Full Moon for you. Give yourself space to go after what you want.

SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

You have been tested the last few months. It seems in some ways you may have been feeling stagnant, but now is a time for growth and opportunity. Aquarius Season has taught you the value of your voice, and this Full Moon will teach you the value of growth. But growth isn’t always simple.

Your 9th House will be shining bright, and this turns your focus to finding new pathways and reaching goals. You may be seeking new adventures and itching to see what lies just beyond the horizon for you. In some ways, you know that change is coming. You can use this Full Moon to also bring your attention to the skills you have gained and the new ones you will, or plan to learn. This is about applying your wisdom. The Sun rules this Full Moon and is sitting in your 3rd House. You could have more inspired discussions than normal or even just a busier life. It seems in some ways, it is hard to see the forest through the trees.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 6th House, so definitely understand that where you are now is not the end all be all. Jupiter may pile on busyness in your daily life, and so you could be having problems seeing the bigger picture. Try to free up your time and add focus to creating flexibility in your routines. Luckily, Jupiter’s influence can be quite healing and responsive — especially if you are feeling under the weather or recovering from anything health-related. Since Jupiter is your ruler, you feel its transits more deeply than most. If you have been hoping to shift your relationship with your body, your health, your routines, or your rituals, you definitely can!

Mercury and Mars connect from your 2nd House, which can have you feeling a little extra motivated to pay attention to your resources. You could want to expand the resources available to you or even find ways to work with what you have better. Uranus will trine these two planets, bringing an unexpected client or project your way. This could turn out to be quite lucrative or affirming for you! If you are employed by someone else, the project could be something you find interesting. In general, your work life will receive some gusto, now.

Use this Full Moon to start seeing possibilities that may lie elsewhere. Remove the limitations by removing yourself from those situations. Start finding alternative pathways and know they still lead to the goals you want to achieve. The stagnation you feel will be lifting. It is time to clear the blocks that stand in front of you.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

Oh Capricorn, after a busy Aquarius Season, it seems that you are ready to take it easy and seek out a small break. You have been so focused on everything you have been building and the accumulation of all of your efforts, now it is time to share what you’ve been given and relish in your hard work.

This Full Moon highlights your 8th House, and you are being reminded that some things are best when they are shared with someone more intimately. You are being shown the truth that lies beneath the surface and asked to expose the vulnerability that lies below. Sometimes, in order to get closer to what we want or who we care about, we have to be willing to pull back some layers. If you have been going through a busy time, this Full Moon will call you to heal and slow down a bit. A little shadow work can go a long way now.

Jupiter squares this Full Moon from your 5th House. Creatively and magnetically, you are on fire. Even if you are ready for a new chapter or to take a risk, it may come with some fear of not seeming ready. Jupiter is helping you express yourself well and asking for you to lean into joy, pleasure, and doing what makes you happy. The 5th House also rules children and conception, making this an ideal lunation for conceiving anything — a project, an idea, a baby, or even a romance. Additionally, this transit may have you just wanting to have some fun in general. Pluto is now out of your sign, so you may as well live it up!

Mercury and Mars meet in your 1st House, ensuring that you go for what you want. Don’t be afraid to share how you feel or what you are thinking. People are listening and willing to hear you out! Conversations can be lively and very inspiring, especially as Uranus trines Mercury and Mars. This would be wonderful time to set an intention, work toward a goal, or even make some changes to your appearance. Expect the unexpected as well, as spontaneity is Uranus’ best friend!

Use this Full Moon to work on yourself and your inner world. Focus on your healing and the ways in which you can get intimate with those you love and trust. Open yourself up to new areas for resources and be willing to share and receive what is available.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

Life is about a give and take, and no one knows that better than you. However, oftentimes you are one that may give more than they receive. This can create an imbalance, whether or not you realize it. So, take a minute and really reflect on the word “receptivity”. What does this mean to you?

The Full Moon on the 5th brings awareness and light to your 7th House. Here, a partnership, relationship, union, or important person is coming into strong focus. Now consider for some of you this is more business-related than personal. You may be reckoning your boundaries and your space with this other person or entity. Have you been giving too much? Are things off-kilter? What needs to be addressed? This Full Moon puts so much emphasis on others that you may need to step outside of yourself to see what is really happening. Perspective is going to be important.

Interestingly, Jupiter squares this Full Moon from your 4th House. There could be a family-related issue that needs your immediate attention or maybe you are looking to make some changes at home. You may have to deal with some tension or challenges that require you to assess what you want out of your home, family, or safety net. Jupiter will bring beneficial outcomes, so even if it feels uncomfortable at first, things will turn out ok in the end. Alternatively, this energy could ask that you need to break out of your comfort zone more. It seems you are more willing to take some risks and are asked to trust yourself as you act a bit more spontaneously.

Mercury and Mars connect in your 12th House, this may have you trying to finish up some stuff behind the scenes or feeling a bit introspective, even though it is YOUR season. This will benefit you, though. Trust me. You could be preparing for your New Year (birthday) and finding ways to close out the last year in your own mind. Pluto is now in your sign, too. So deep transformations are abound, especially in the coming two decades. But for now, Mercury, Mars, and Uranus are all joyfully supporting you in your metamorphosis. Just wait until the world sees you!

Use this Full Moon to evaluate your relationships and focus on how much energy is putting into yourself or others. If it is imbalanced, it is time to restore it all to equilibrium. Uranus and Jupiter are pulling you into your 4th House, a call to nourish yourself from the inside out. Let the river run through your soul and cleanse every piece of you. It is time.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

When life feels a little chaotic, it is time to call yourself back a bit. A little order can do your soul some good, probably more than you realize. It seems that you are trying to get a handle on the “busyness.” Do you need to be as busy as you are? Do you need to reevaluate your routines?

This Full Moon shines a light on your 6th House, where we focus on our health, regimens, and daily life. Maybe you have been quietly waiting for something to give, but now it is time to take control. It seems that taking on too much can have a negative impact on you—if you don’t figure out how to manage everything on your plate (or even ask for a little help). You may not have been as good to your body as you would like to be, and now you are being faced with the repercussions. You need to recenter a bit. Your health and your well-being are important!

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 3rd House, so there may be general busyness or a lot of information coming at you right now. If you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious at all, know that it is only temporary. The limits in your mind have no home here. Jupiter will help you reach beyond said limits for the next few months, giving you a chance to see a new perspective and inspiring new ideas. You could find yourself racing with the need to share and express, perhaps even being someone that everyone is reaching out to right now. Talk to the people you love. Remember to juggle your commitments and know when you have overcommitted, too. If you are signing a contract of any sort, this will transit will be beneficial to you — as will the one I will talk about below.

As promised above, I mentioned the benefit of signing something around this lunation. This is because Mercury and Mars connect with Uranus positively in your 11th and 3rd Houses. It seems like people are supportive to you, as are agreements you are/create. You could unexpectedly receive an offer or have an incredibly healing/power conversation that leaves you feeling more alive. Whatever it is, make time for those you love right now or even accept an invite to something new. The more you are willing to try and break out of your shell, the more you will receive.

Use this Full Moon to focus on your schedule, routines, and daily life. Try to rearrange things to make it work for you. Don’t be afraid to state your needs and listen to your body more. Get back on track by caring for yourself, and try not to overextend into doing too much. Know your limits.
