Taurus New Moon Miniscopes
Taurus New
Moon Miniscopes
The Valley of Death, where Hope blooms.
The New Moon falls at 7º Taurus, 3:31 PM ET on April 27th.
As we begin Taurus Season, we are gifted a New Moon that can cleanse and nurture the wounds we faced at the Full Moon in Libra. We find ourselves out of Eclipse Season and now on new ground. Our Garden of Eden is restored, and we find the snake did not damn us. Instead, it opened the door to see reality, no matter how harsh.
This New Moon has some rumbling thunder of its own however. It remains caught in a square to both Mars and Pluto, who have just perfected their last opposition. This T-Square (as we call it) tells us that we are no longer limited by fear; instead, we see that we can expand and push beyond the restrictions that were originally placed upon us. If we choose to walk in the valley of death, flowers can bloom. With our roots solid, now we can reach for the highest heavens.
The Moon is exalted in Taurus, working at its best. Emotionally, we are grounded yet receptive – nourishing the Earth like a river flowing through the valley. Where the water touches, all is refreshed, restored, and renewed. Venus is the leader of this lunation, finishing its stay in Pisces for the next few days, leaving room for healing. This is especially true as it has met for the third and final time with Saturn this year.
Mars and Pluto also have their own tête-à-tête for the third and final time this year, too. They throw stones at one another, forcing us to bring action to our intentions. Both Mars and Pluto are stubbornly sat in Fixed signs, giving us the determination and willpower to see anything through. Even if we can’t see it, our hard work is paying off. Yet, it comes with some heat and struggles along the way. We can’t quite rest yet and feel the warm Sun on our faces.
Luckily, Saturn is stabilizing us, this time with no restraint as Venus separates. This meeting of planets will leave us with no shortage of ideas. Life feels more in flow, leading us to listen to the breeze through the trees and taste the sweetness in the Spring air once more. Seek pleasure and joy, and from this abundance will follow – especially now as we stand to anticpate the arrival of Jupiter in Cancer in just a few weeks.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 2º to 12º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Fixed placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.
ARIES TO CANCER
Aries & Aries Rising
We are now in Taurus Season, where the attention shifts from your desires to your stability. We have closed out a pivotal time in Aries Season, which has opened new doors of opportunity for you. So, turn your attention to planting what you can, if you can — especially at this New Moon.
This New Moon is in your 2nd House, so your focus can be turned toward resources. Are you being valued for your work? What is your compensation like, even outside of income? Some of you may be looking for a raise, promotion, or change to your financial picture. Use this New Moon to push that forward for you. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, so it is working at its best! Remain grounded in your approach, but charge ahead knowing that you can grow an abundant garden from all that you decide to plant. A major theme around personal value and worthiness may creep up — take the helm of this and own every facet of your talents and your experience.
We have two very contrasting energies at this New Moon — but both point to a sense of finality. Venus and Saturn will join forces again, just as Mars and Pluto will oppose for the last of three times in their current cycles. In one breath, there will be a need to retreat and restore with Venus and Saturn so close to one another. Perhaps a closing of a major chapter or cycle has just occurred or is about to occur. Then in the next, we have the Mars/Pluto opposition bringing in conflicts of character. You may feel more agitated or restless than normal. You could see challenges arise within your more social settings or in friendships. If things feel heated, know when to step away. It can be easy to jump to conclusions today.
Use this New Moon to focus on your value and worth. Make changes to how you view money and abundance. Find new or additional resources or income. Above all else, cultivate a better relationship with yourself and your self-worth.
Taurus & Taurus Rising
Happy New Moon, Taurus! It falls in your sign, and the Moon LOVES being in your sign. It stabilizes the fluctuating energy of the Moon and taps into its nourishing abilities. Right now, what you should be looking to nourish is yourself.
This lunation falls in your 1st House, bringing you back to your place in this world. Who are you? What do you want? You have been dealing with tough transits for a while, but now you may have been shedding old skin in order to release what isn’t working for you. This lunation will give you a chance to find what WILL work for you. You get to decide how you live your life and make strides in building a new you. Now is the time to be unapologetically yourself. Celebrate your individuality. Take pride in where you are right now.
As we enter the realm of this lunation, we see some major points of closure. Venus and Saturn will meet together for the last time this year, just as Mars and Pluto will oppose for the third and final time in their current cycle. Venus and Saturn will ground you in your community, helping you make greater commitments to your future and friendships. Meanwhile, we have a juxtaposition. The demands of home and work can feel very intense. Your responsibilities can feel heavier and more weighted. It is best to know your limits. A close friend may prove to be helpful now. If you are feeling overwhelmed, reach out to someone you trust and love.
Use this New Moon to get in touch with yourself, your desires, and your motivations. Ask yourself who you want to be. Focus on how you can act on what you want and make space for your goals. It is your turn.
Gemini & Gemini Rising
Gemini, take time to rest. Please! We are heading into your season shortly, but first, we have the New Moon that sparks a need for recuperation. You may be trying to balance that very full plate of yours. There is a feeling of being run down, tired, and needing space to recollect yourself. Honestly, you need to listen to that feeling!
This New Moon is perfectly positioned in your 12th House, so right now is a time to find a balance in work, pleasure, play, and rest. Work quietly behind the scenes and slow down. You are turning inward and focused on preserving your energy. You know you will be expending a lot of it soon. The 12th House can bring insights that we were not privy to before. So, you may discover information that was hidden from view. Now is a time to listen to your intuition and focus on how to best navigate quietly. If you need a respite, take it! Lean into that ease.
As we go into the New Moon, we have two very important transits coming to a close: Venus conjunct Saturn and Mars opposite Pluto. Both are part of the longer-term cycles that we have been in the last few months. These are the third and final times this year that they will connect. The Venus/Saturn transit brings a prominence or sense of responsibility/obligation to the workfront. Almost as if something is coming to a sense of completion or culmination for you — perhaps even positively so! Simultaneously, the desire for change may be strong. However, you may find obstacles standing in your way. Conversations may be tense or your words can be misconstrued. Don’t hold onto what others say too strongly, and try to take a break from whatever is bothering you.
Use this New Moon to bring a chapter to a close. Find space to open new doors and explore possibilities. You can get further in touch with your faith, spirituality, or intuition — possibly even using this to inform and guide you. Most importantly, use this New Moon to give yourself a place to rest, finding peace and resolution in anything that feels that it is pending.
Cancer & cancer Rising
We enter the abundant New Moon in Taurus, where you will have endless support. This lunation is unlike many others we have experienced recently. So this feels, in so many ways, like a fresh start. So many aspects align to make this New Moon a powerhouse with added excitement!
With this lunation hanging out in your 11th House, you will be looking at your connections and friends as a way to help you feel valued and supported. You may even just want to catch up with people, feeling a little more social than normal. The Moon, your ruler, will be in exaltation, bringing you emotional grounding. You are realizing that community is becoming increasingly important to you, and you may be trying to find where you want to align yourself. Budding friendships become lasting ones, and old friends are showing up left and right. Bask in this! People are showing you love, and you deserve that. Support seems like magic — and abundance is found in community. Nurture those reciprocal relationships. Because the 11th House deals with hopes and dreams, it feels that something is coming to light in a whole new way — and this may even be in relation to your future. Maybe you are being asked to shift your priorities to make way for something more exciting!
An important point to this New Moon is the finality of two transits happening around it. Venus and Saturn will join forces one last time since orbiting one another since January. All the while, Mars and Pluto will oppose each other again for the last time, too — having done so twice before in Novemeber 2024 and January this year, too. Venus and Saturn will call on a point of culmination and growth in terms of publishing, education, travel, and your personal aspirations. After a series of delays, you will start to see things in your life move forward more positively. Simultaneously, resources may make you feel stressed. Pay attention to where you spend your time, energy, and money. You are more than what you can offer or provide. Try seeking ways to find value in who you are, not what you can give or make. You can gain a new perspective when you no longer beholden yourself to old patterns.
Use this New Moon to focus on community and ways that you can use your innate talents to help others. Find networks and groups that you can connect with and re-establish bonds with friends. Possibly even throw your partner into the mix or start a new relationship (romantically, business-wise, or even platonically).
LEO TO SCORPIO
Leo & Leo Rising
This season has you working hard! However, there may be points of refining and reflecting, especially as Mercury had stationed direct. But now that we are out of the retrogrades and eclipse season, you are starting to see things a bit more clearly.
This New Moon will bring you to new heights! It falls in your 10th House, so you have the chance to plant seeds in your career or make important moves in your life. You are becoming more aware of your direction and what you want! With the Moon in exaltation, you are fully supported in your efforts, too! Nothing is in vain. The right people are taking notice. If you do change jobs or careers, you may find that the work you want to do will be something completely different or distinct. Perhaps that is the change you want, too! Alternatively, some of you may make discoveries about your passions that drive you into a new field or up the ladder into a new role/position. Whatever it is, a career or work-related matter seems to be at the forefront of your mind.
There is a sense of completion around this New Moon that can’t be ignored. Venus and Saturn will join up for the third and final time this year, just Mars and Pluto will oppose again for the final of three times since November 2024. Venus and Saturn have been calling attention to your intimacy, resources, and deeper foundations. You have been called to share more and to invest more — perhaps in people, opportunities, relationships, or places. However, it seems that some people around you are challenging you more than normal. Power struggles are likely. You can honor others while still maintaining your originality and authenticity. Don’t let anyone take those away from you.
Use this New Moon to focus on your career goals and your direction in life. Realign yourself with what you want and let go of what is not worth your energy. If you walk away from a job, a new one is just around the corner. If you choose to rise through the ranks, you are being noticed. Ask for what you deserve.
Virgo & Virgo Rising
You are reaching new heights! You have recently taken a leap of faith, and you know that there is no way you can go back now! This New Moon may not be an eclipse, but it is one that opens doors of opportunity and creates possibility — a portal into something new. For you, in particular, you will see that obstacles that were once present begin to dissipate. Perhaps this is a change of perspective or maybe roads starting to open for you.
With this New Moon in your 9th House, you are actively growing and trying new things! You are taking the experience you have had and applying it future-forward. Now is a time to be bold and optimistic about the journey that lies ahead. The Moon will make sure that you are grounded in your approach while remaining open to the beautiful changes that life can bring! Flexible structures. Here, you will see that your world is shifting. The 9th House is about limitless potential. You realize the world truly is your oyster in this realm, and you can make what you want out of it. You will likely see your goals more clearly than you have in a long time and thus change your priorities in achieving them. Nothing is too far out of reach. All it takes is a little faith.
An incredible commitment comes at this New Moon for you. Venus rules this lunation and links up with Saturn once again in your 7th House. For the third time this year, you are grounding further into collaborations and relationships that feel important to you. You have learned boundaries and lessons, and you can move forward with more peace and wisdom. But it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Mars and Pluto will oppose as well, for the last time time since November 2024. This can have you being pushed to your limits. Mars is taking it slow in a quieter part of your chart. Lean into the slowness, as it will give you more energy. This will stop you from pushing yourself to fatigue. Asking for help can be good for you now, especially as the Moon and Venus bring the right relationships and people into your life. You are surrounded by support if you ask for it.
Use this New Moon to expand your horizons, go back to school or even take a trip (safely). You can explore new spiritualities or politics, redefining your morals and ethics — but this requires letting go of old ones. You make the call. You decide what your big picture looks like. Leap into a new phase of your life.
Libra & Libra Rising
New things are emerging now. Resources have changed, in every sense of the word, and a metamorphosis has taken place. As we move through the next few weeks, you will see that a large part of this experience is to open yourself up to healing and be more vulnerable. New pathways that you had not expected will open up.
The New Moon is in your 8th House, opening doors for resources that have been untapped or previously hidden. This could be emotional or material. Some of you may find out about an unexpected gain, whether through you or a partner, perhaps an inheritance, or some sort of windfall. Alternatively, you may find that you are working toward paying off debts and feeling more secure — that you don’t owe anything to anyone. This could also apply to how you feel about emotional debts, almost washing your hands of old situations or people that no longer serve you. This lunation may also bring about a transformation. One that has been a long time coming. In some ways, it will feel like a re-emergence — a butterfly coming out of its cocoon after a long period of reflection, healing, and dealing with shadows that have sat beneath the surface. However, if you haven’t started that journey yet, it seems you will soon. Becoming more intimate and preserving your inner peace will be of the utmost importance.
This New Moon is truly great for resources or growing your investments, especially as Venus and Saturn join up again once more. This has you being more realistic about your needs and what you require to move about your daily life. You are grounding into the importance of pleasure, ease, and seeking to have space to feel secure. Health-wise this will be a positive turning point for you. Mars and Pluto will throw a bit of a wrench during this lunation, however. They oppose one another trying to impose too much outside influence. So, the opinions of others can weigh more heavily than normal. People don’t have to understand you to respect you, to show compassion. Being accommodating doesn’t mean being invisible. You can stand out, be appreciated, and still support those you love.
Use this New Moon to explore your sexuality and your intimacy. Release old baggage and let go of fears that stand in the way. Find alternative resources and apply for grants, mortgages, and loans! It’s time to transform your outlook. It is time to call back your power! Healing, grieving, and shadow work are a must now.
Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
In the last few years, you may have seen your life change in ways you had not expected. Some of you may have taken on more autonomy and independence and/or changed how you engage in your relationships. Others have seen growth opportunities and significant relationships strengthen. Whatever it is, there has been a flowing exchange of energy that has led to massive personal growth.
Now, a New Moon enters your 7th House. You will likely see dynamics shift between you and someone you are close with. Some of you may dissolve broken or irreparable relationships, others will get closer — forming impenetrable bonds. You are seeing the value in the give and take and understanding your boundaries in a new way. If you are seeking out a new relationship, it is likely you will find it. Alternatively, the relationship you’re working on could be one with yourself. Sometimes we think that we need to find “wholeness” through others and forget that we are whole on our own. So, consider this New Moon an exploration of what you need, deserve, and desire. Understanding your boundaries and seeing how you fit into the picture will be pertinent. With the Moon exalted, it seems that sharing a part of your life with others can be very reassuring and grounding. You don’t need to be mysterious all the time. Find even just a few people you trust and open up. Receptivity is huge now.
Venus rules this New Moon, and it is going through some moments of closure. It meets with Saturn for the last time this year in your 5th House. If you have been struggling to find the playful, fun side to life that will start to change. What has felt daunting the last 4 months will shift. However, this isn’t to say that it will all be easy. Mars and Pluto also fight off one last time together in their current cycle, too. Issues on the homefront may feel supercharged. You may be pulled into the middle of some dramas or just feel overwhelmed by obligations around you. Whatever it may be, everything seems too much. Take time to restore your inner world. Problems don’t need to be solved immediately. You can find better solutions when you feel more rested.
Use this New Moon to focus on the relationships in your life. This isn’t just romantic, but also in business or with family/friends. You may need to change your view on support and allow yourself to let others in. You are forging/deepening really important relationships now. Let them grow, and in turn, help you grow.
SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES
Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
Knowing your limits can be important. This month you are tasked with closing doors, learning to be better to your body, and focusing on the things in your immediate present. You be taught the value of your needs and the difference between service/sacrifice. We can’t save everyone, or really anyone, other than ourselves.
This New Moon falls in your 6th House. Here, you are told to prioritize yourself more. Your health, work, daily life, and routines all fall in this area of your chart. You may have seen major changes in this more mundane setting, yet you may not have realized how impactful the small shifts have been. This lunation opens a door of opportunity for you (or even several), where you can take more risks with work, find better solutions for your health, and retake control of your life. Consider this a chance to organize the chaos. You are settling into new routines, so be mindful of what you begin. You can kick old habits and start new exercise regimens. The call is to bring your physical self to the forefront. Alternatively, some of you may see the lunation manifest through your work environment with co-workers, your job tasks, or even the job itself.
Something to note is the finality of this New Moon. We start something new from the compost of the old. Venus rules this lunation, and it meets up with Saturn for one last time this year in your privacy sector. It will help you reimagine your needs on the homefront and shift your priorities. This is extremely helpful for any domestic-related matters. Use this to your advantage! Yet, it is worth noting that Mars and Pluto will oppose once more. They have had two other moments of battling things out in November 2024 and January 2025. This is their last moment of the year. You could be pushed outside of your comfort zone – and this could bring some tensions. You may be asked to do something you don’t want to do or hear information that could jar you. Stick to your morals but watch for conflicts. If conversations are getting heated, take a step back.
Use this New Moon to lean into better health practices. Focus on achieving work/life balance and open yourself up to different work opportunities. Make changes to your routines and get organized! Take credit where you deserve it and never undercut your value. Rest where and how you can.
Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
It is time to restore your sense of optimism! This New Moon comes in to remind you that life can be fun and playful! Over the last year, you have learned the value of personal joy and collective happiness. Now, as this New Moon ushers in a new pathway, you can walk forward in a more focused manner.
The New Moon will highlight the area of your chart that rules play, joy, happiness, pleasure, love, and creation. This is about leading with your heart, listening to that inner child, and making time for more fun in your life. This is very welcomed. This lunation reminds us that life is something to experience. You can manifest your heart’s desires into reality, simply by taking more risks on yourself. What makes you happy? What do you love? This is a time to explore new ways to play and seek out pleasure. Let loose. Because this is a place of creation, some of you may be creating something entirely new: a project, art, music, relationship, or even the conception of a child. Alternatively, consider this New Moon a chance for you to sit in the spotlight a bit. It is ok to be recognized for your efforts and to celebrate your successes.
Venus in Pisces has been filling your head with great ideas, and now as it meets your ruler, Saturn, one last time this year, you can ground them into reality. This helps you focus your attention and bring priority to your creativity. Maybe something is finally coming to culmination after a long time of waiting. Mars will oppose Pluto, however, throwing a bit of a wrench into things. Some internal tensions can start to bubble up. Even if it makes you uncomfortable, there is nothing wrong being more vulnerable. Intimacy brings more fire and excitement into life, if you allow it. This opposition allows you to find real power in exploring your softer side. The more you are willing to be deep with those you trust, the more you can receive in return.
Use this New Moon to stand in your light and unapologetically shine. Create, connect, and conceive! You have the chance to make internal waves and question your doubts. Resilience is yours. Reignite that spark.
Aquarius & Aquarius Rising
The last year has seen major changes to your internal and external worlds. After what feels like a cycle of constant evolution and change – you can now start a new phase in your 4th House.
The 4th House rules family, home, roots, and your emotional foundations. Here, the New Moon will turn your attention to these areas. Perhaps you are looking to do some work around the house — renovations or redecorating. Maybe you are just on a house hunt overall, looking for new places to call home. Some of you may be finding more quiet time or family time while seeking solitude after a busy few months. Whatever it is, you are bringing it all back to your center. Home is where the heart is. Family could take a central focus as there may be changing dynamics in this area of your life. Over the last 6 months, you have been redefining what family truly is, or means to you. You have been putting down stronger roots and really focusing on your emotional well-being. This New Moon tells you all of that work isn’t for nothing. You can rejoice in the power you have called back and honor the peace you have created.
This New Moon brings closure with it — especially for things that have been pending for the last 4-6 months. Venus will meet with Saturn for the third time since January, creating a sense of finality and growth in regard to your resources. You can find more continuity and stability through these two in a way that have felt like they were missing. However, as Mars and Pluto oppose again for the third time, too, you can also feel some aggravations. With Pluto in your sign, you have started a long-term transformation that begins with letting go. But with Mars in your partnership sector, power struggles with those closest to you can feel strong. Old conflicts with a relationship may surface. You may need to see where you are holding onto too much. Grudges need to be released. Your stubbornness can get in the way.
Use this New Moon to focus on your roots and foundations. Connect with family, chosen or given. Make changes to your living space and get in touch with your emotional well-being. Sit in the nostalgia but don’t get lost there. Tomorrow is a new day.
Pisces & Pisces Rising
Your head is filled with so many great ideas! This New Moon is one that creates possibility — a doorway into something new. You could find yourself at a crossroads with multiple avenues to go down. Alternatively, you may find yourself faced with needing to use your voice more — perhaps being flexible in ways that you had not been before.
The New Moon falls in your 3rd House where you are tasked to learn, adapt, and integrate. This is about how you communicate not only what you are saying — but also what you are hearing. Part of shifting your perspective comes through dialogue and the conversations that you have with others. Your voice is your power. Now, it is time to learn how to use it. Through the 3rd House, we learn to express ourselves and say what is on our minds. Sharing is an integral part of your personal exploration — and how you choose to share is important. There can be a feeling of people inundating you with messages around the New moon. Perhaps you may hear some news that you have been waiting for! You can start a new journey for yourself by applying the skills you have in new ways. Your local community will figure strongly, especially those close to you. They are here to uplift you and support you, but they won’t know what you need unless you tell them. Asking for help isn’t weak – especially if it is meant to help you grow.
You can feel particularly in focus at this lunation. Venus is finishing up its long-term transit in your sign, meeting up with Saturn for a final time this year. This marks an incredible moment of grounding, stability, and determination. Consider it a culmination of everything you have been doing in the last 4 months. Find some time to be proud of yourself — even if it feels hard to be. Tensions can still rise, however, as Mars and Pluto oppose for the final time in their current cycle too. Physical or emotional stress could feel like a weight. You may not be giving your body what it needs. Take care to reprioritize things and focus on your well-being. Try not to overwork yourself. Venus in your sign may suggest that a little self-care can go a long way. Why not give yourself a break?
Use this New Moon to find your voice again. Speak up on what you believe in, and listen to those around you. Conversation and communication will be important now. Write your ideas down and start finding the motivation to put these thoughts into motion!
