The Full Moon in Leo 13º falls on February 1st at 5:09 PM ET.
February begins asking that we find some warmth and joy — and this Full Moon in Leo may be just the thing we need to figure that out. It is said that a Leo Full Moon is one of the best for manifestation and setting new intentions. Like Taurus, Leo focuses on turning all they wish for into reality, and Leo sees potential. They spark the fire and fan the flames. So, what flames are you trying to get to burn brighter? What fire are you stoking?
The Sun leads this lunation, shining brilliantly on the Moon, lighting up the sky, even in the darkest moments. The positive side of the Sun being the leader is that it never retrogrades, and it is Fixed itself. So, we can charge ahead confidently with our eye on the prize, even in the face of adversity. The Sun and Moon create a synergy here, spurring us into action and seeking for us to find a balance.
The Sun is caught up in a larger network of planets in Aquarius. The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto all congregate together. Some closer to each other than others, this energy puts a hyper focus on wherever Aquarius has rulership in your chart. Because of the intensity of these planets in their stellium, we can feel a bit dizzy, whimsical, and jolted, perhaps even find ourselves being overzealous, as we are putting so much emphasis into one area of ourselves. Luckily though, we do have some reprieve.
Saturn and Uranus are finding joy together, as they support one another. There is a huge alignment and shift within us in our general life approach. Recreation and focus come to mind. Our long-term visions are moved by excitement and innovation, a spark being lit by Uranus, that sets ablaze our need to act. Saturn and Uranus will push us to move and assert the need to liberate and connect, especially as Saturn prepares to enter a new sign soon. This edgy union will deliver the confidence and courage we need to walk into this year, grounded and with intention.
On top of this, we just had Neptune enter Aries a few days ago. This transit will mark our next 14-years in some capacity. A once in a lifetime experience, Neptune in Aries is about making sure that your dreams become bigger, we are more bold in our intentions, and it asks us to clarify what is worth fighting for in our lives. Neptune speaks well with Pluto in Aquarius, so our individual motions will lead to more collective inspiration.
We are only a few weeks from eclipse season beginning again, so this is a space where the arc of change is at an all-time high, and the through-line is knowing we have to see it through to the other side. Sometimes, we know we don’t always have control over external events, but what the Moon in Leo tells us is that we have control over how we react to and act in, those events. We can either take up space and gain more pride, or sit in the dark… in fear. Take a cue from the Sun now. Stay consistent in your hopes and dreams. If we remain forward-moving, leading with our hearts, anything can be possible. We just have to accept that there may be a bit of a risk to get there.

In this workshop, we will learn about Saturn as an archetype, in myth, its history, its relationship to time, and its astrological/real world influences. We will also explore Saturn through the signs and houses, how to work with your Saturn return, and discuss other Saturn transits like the Saturn square and opposition. You will leave this class with tools and tips for any Saturnian moment you may be dealing with.
This class is for everyone honestly: if you are just learning astrology, going through your Saturn return, love myth, or are an astrological veteran.

ARIES TO CANCER
Aries & Aries Rising
Passion leads to adventure. It seems you have been coming back to find what brings you joy and what you love. This is very important, as you may have lost your way in the last few weeks, months, or even year. However, you are getting your groove back and that is very apparent.
This Full Moon comes to shine a light on your 5th House, and creativity is abundant now. You are called to see what sits right in front of you in this present moment. This isn’t about tomorrow or yesterday— just today. This can be hard for you, as you are a visionary. But slowing down and seeing what is here and now can actually inspire you. The 5th House rules creativity, conception, children, expression, love, and happiness. These areas will be highlighted. You are being called back to your passions and what drives you. You may be at a creative high, and you should follow that energy. However, you may also be doubting yourself a bit. Sometimes finding your way back to what you love isn’t easy. It takes courage and heart to make it there.
Uranus is a key player at this Full Moon as it works well with Saturn. It adds an aura of excitement and surprise, perhaps triggering an unexpected event. This could come in terms of your resources, as it sits in your 2nd House. Whatever crops up, try not to worry or fret, there is a positive outcome around the corner, especially as these two giants are finalizing their stints in their respective signs. Uranus’ presence at this lunation adds whimsy and verve, almost as if you are feeling ready and willing to take on whatever comes your way! It motivates you to take hold of your worth, pushing you closer to recognizing how valuable you are.
Use this Full Moon to open yourself creatively. Follow your passions and listen to your heart. Go with what sets your soul ablaze and don’t let anyone stop you. Give voice to your happiness and your joy. You can take up space, it doesn’t mean that someone else doesn’t get their share, too. Your heart is your guiding force. Where will it lead you?
Taurus & Taurus Rising
If you have been feeling a little withdrawn lately, that is ok. Go with it. It seems that there has been so much emphasis on your work, career, and life direction—that it may be time to come home and tend to yourself in some way.
This Full Moon falls in your 4th House at the bottom of your chart, and you need some TLC. You have a very “work” mentality, but rest can be equally as important. After a busy time of year, you can call it all inward. You may be connecting with family, doing a little redecorating, moving, or working with your ancestors. This Full Moon is perfect for all things domestic and getting organized on the home front. You may be focusing on what matters to you and trying to create a better work/life balance.
You may be the harbinger of excitement, surprise, or spontaneity around this lunation! I know this may seem out of character for your steadfast nature, but Uranus is closely harmonizing to Saturn! There is a jolting feeling and an inexplicable need for freedom. Some of you may take a fool’s leap or make a shocking discovery around this time! However, I don’t want this to scare you. Even through this whirlwind energy, there is a lot of support. You will realize/actualize some of this energy closer to February 13th, when Saturn makes its grand entrance into Aries. Try something new and go your own way if you can. You will be happier that you did.
Use this Full Moon for a little respite and bring it all home. Focus on your foundations. Listen to your emotional side and take moments of rest to help you recharge. Connect with family or your home in a new way. Redecorate, or even reorganize and donate old things around the house that you don’t want anymore!
Gemini & Gemini Rising
You are rarely short of ideas and now is no different. You have been in a period of seeking more growth, but sometimes growth can come in unique ways — potentially through interactions and dialogue. This is especially true with the Full Moon in Leo highlighting your 3rd House.
This is a House of communication, thought, and idea. You may feel the need to share more than usual and really tell people what is going on in your mind. You could be full of ideas and new inventions, thoughts, or concepts! Write them all down. You won’t want to lose track or lose sight of what is swirling around in that mind of yours. Now, a downside here could be increased busyness, as the 3rd House creates a flurry of little tasks that feel like they need to be tackled immediately. This can be difficult as it seems that you don’t want to miss something. There is a lot to keep track of, and with your mind racing it can be easy to have an oversight. Perspective will be really important for you. Try talking things out with someone—or have a friend or close friend hold you accountable to some of these tasks. Set alarms or ask for help where it is warranted. Communication is key now.
Uranus is so interestingly positioned at this Full! It harmonizes with Saturn in Pisces. So you may get an overwhelming sensation or intuitive hit at this time. However, this Full Moon comes in with a chance to create a new foundation or a point of stability for you.
It will shine on your 2nd House, so money could be on your mind, but also your own valuation, resources and sense of security. You may have to release an expectation around where you find security during this Full Moon, but know that leaves you with more opportunity to seek alternative routes and sources. However, it does seem to work out best for you in the end. Saturn finishes its time in Pisces in the coming weeks, you will start to see how all of your hard work will pay off.
