Cancer New Moon Miniscopes

So this Eclipse Hangover is real, and we are still recovering from the Mercury retrograde.

This past week has shown us a few harsher aspects, and I know some of us are feeling tired. This New Moon on July 20th is the second New Moon in Cancer. We aren’t always greeted with two New Moons in the same sign, so there are some important things to note at this New Moon.

This New Moon signals the first major lunation since the Full Moon eclipse we just had a few weeks ago. It is a resurgence of the energy that we felt on the first New Moon in Cancer on June 21, but also effects us somewhat differently. What we initially started around the first New Moon is now being challenged - but this only allows us to make sure that it is strong for the future. This particular New Moon is centered on the Saturn opposition. The Sun and Moon align in Cancer while opposing Saturn in Capricorn at the exact degree. The Moon and Saturn are in their domicile, strengthening this aspect and allowing for it to take center stage during this lunation. There will be major themes of limitation, responsibility and nurturing. We feel pulled to focus on rest and self-nurture, but Saturn reminds us that there is work to be done. We are not done, and so we feel conflicted and pulled in two directions. Work, government, relationships or even our own guilt can stand in our way. To a lesser degree, the Sun and Moon oppose Jupiter and Pluto - something we felt earlier this week that has remnants on this New Moon. Jupiter gives us a surge of energy allowing us to take charge when we need it, but it may also cause us to overextend ourselves and not know when to stop. Pluto brings hidden things to surface, so we are exposed to the cold, hard truth. We have to face our fears and prepare to make some changes in our life.

Luckily, during all of these oppositions, Neptune intercepts some of this energy. It softens it - reminding us to let go and trust our intuition. We can’t control the outside forces, and we just have to understand that some things in life are just bigger than us. It adds a level of compassion, as well. So, although we may feel frustrated with people in our lives, we can see their point of view (or at least we should try to). Jupiter in particular really sits well with Neptune at this New Moon, both have similar energy of seeing beyond the present and understanding that there is hope for tomorrow - promises are on the horizon. Lesser influences on this lunation include: Mercury and Uranus still in sextile, giving us that jolt of imagination and free-thinking. Now that Mercury is direct, we may find that our thoughts are more clear, so setting the ideas for future goals feels easier. Venus and Mars also sextile, this aspect can be sexy and amazing for relationships or jump starting your business ideas. So, although you may feel frustrated or confined during this New Moon, there is still help along the way. If you have any personal planets in your chart at 24º to 29º or 0º to 4º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. So, let’s see what this is all means for you individually!

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

Aries, this is the second New Moon to fall in your Home and Family sector. This time, things feel as though they are starting to come together from the last Eclipse you had here on June 21st. The problem that was around that time may be residual but you have a better handle on it. You may feel that you are still needing to take some private time, but there can be a push from your career or employer that makes you feel a little disjointed from being able to fully relax. Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter are all meeting at the top of your chart placing a lot of emphasis on your time away from home—perhaps depleting some of your energy. If you are out of work, you may find that you are still being pulled outside of your comfort zone by external forces. You may not be ready to address what is around you, but it is necessary. You may be facing some issues with a parent or family member now, but you can reach a major breakthrough. If there is manipulation happening—call it out but be respectful. Some of you may start a new job or decide to take new route career-wise. If so, get to planning! You could be working on some home related projects, if you face any setbacks, know that these are temporary. Mercury is direct, still forming such a beautiful aspect to Uranus aiding you in this area. Mars now moving through your sign is giving you the energy you need to overcome whatever stands in your way! Don’t be impulsive in your actions or communications, but re-channel that into forming a clear direction for yourself. Mars is enabling you with the chance to make things really happen! Anything you want personally, will take shape. You feel at home with Mars in Aries, since it is your natural ruler—soak this up. Mars will go retrograde in early September through half of November, slowing us down—so take what you can from this period of time before then. You can see results now. Be clear. Be direct. Taurus & Taurus Rising

New Moon in Cancer, number two! This is such a rarity that you have to take advantage of it! You may find yourself working on building your skills and updating your network. This New Moon falls in your 3rd House—so you’re ready to start speaking up and thinking up new ideas. Your life will feel busier on the day to day in the coming weeks. Don’t scatter your energy too much—perhaps even some information overload. Saturn is asking you to focus on this New Moon. Something may crop up with a sibling around this time. Perhaps they rely on you or need you—maybe you guys are not talking—whatever it may be, there is a deeply rooted issue that they are not talking about with you that’s causing some friction. You’ve been hosting a stellium of planets in your 9th House for quite sometime. Some of you have the itch to travel, but obviously that isn’t happening. Refocus that energy into schooling, learning, education or building your presence on social media. You may be trying to launch something or get your name out there, Jupiter will help you—but you have to really put the effort in to make it happen and there’s still some work to do. Mars is in the sign before yours, so any projects you are working on should not be launched yet. You are finishing up things behind the scenes—planning the right time to make it all happen. Hi my twins! Money has been on your mind for quite some time. The last two eclipses have highlighted your financial houses, so you have been feeling it from all sides. Money comes in, then goes out, and the cycle is vicious. This second New Moon is an opportunity to explore new avenues of income for yourself! Venus is direct in your sign being helpful—and in good aspect to Mars, suggesting that you may find ways of sourcing new income through a friend or a networking connection! Saturn is in hard angle, so it seems that you still owe some money or have to pay off some things first, but the end result will be much better. If you are going for a mortgage or applying for a loan or line of credit, you may have to jump through a few extra hoops, but the money can be yours! You have been dealing with intimacy issues too lately, especially around that Full Moon on July 4–5. You’re starting to find your worth again. Oh baby! Another New Moon in your sign! The Moon loves being in Cancer, because it is its domicile. It feels comfortable, thus you feel a surge of energy under its influence. Cancers born on July 15th to 22nd or late degree Cancer risings will feel this New Moon more than others. This New Moon is very tied to the one we experienced a month ago, also in Cancer. You are starting to see clearly the intentions you set then. This New Moon gives you one last jolt to jump start anything your heart desires. Libra—I know you’ve been feeling the weight of these eclipses quite a bit. There has been some realizations made with family and your career. You have had to balance both so well, and I know it can be tiring. You are feeling split in so many directions. This New Moon emphasizes your career and life direction. You are really feeling the push to move onto something new. This is your opportunity to plant the seeds. Saturn has been touring your 4th House, bringing with it some heavier energy surrounding your relationships at home. You have become a support system for others. Over the last few years, you seem to feel drawn to making changes in your familial relations, your physical home and your inner world. This is only preparing you for the better things to come. You need to stabilize the more private and internal parts of your life, so that you can finally soar. Hi Aquarius! How are you feeling? Time to check in on your health! This New Moon is the second one that focuses on your health sector and daily routines. Some of you may have been battling ongoing health issues—pay attention to anything that crops up over the next week or two. Alternatively, some of you may be looking to change your daily routine. This is an excellent time to start a new workout plan, modify your eating habits and to listen to your body. Staying grounded and focusing on your physical state is very important. Hi Pisces! This New Moon sits so well with your sign—it’s in a fellow water sign, Cancer. The eclipses have had you surged with energy, perhaps overdoing it or spreading yourself too thin. You had to balance being there for others while still being there for yourself. This New Moon has a similar energy around it, but it is lighter than what you’ve had to deal with over the past few weeks. Saturn, which has been touring your 11th house for 2 years now, has helped you weed out your friends and contacts and find a good core group of people that you really identify with. Jupiters presence in the past 8 months in this area of your chart as expanded this, bringing with it influential and helpful connections. Capricorn Full Moon Eclipse Miniscopes

AND NOW FOR THE GRAND FINALE!

Full Moon Eclipse Number Two! This energy has been culminating. You may have already felt or seen some of the changes that have and are going to occur. You can actually feel the energy of an eclipse as early as 2-4 weeks before it hits. What’s interesting here, is that we have been working off back to back eclipses over the last month. Now, this is the grand finale to the Cancer/Capricorn eclipse series - about 2 years of major changes in certain areas of our lives are coming to an end, and new ones are about to begin. This is a time to truly release what is no longer useful. Stagnant and unnecessary energy gets uprooted, uplifted and turned around. We are entering a new phase. Full Moon eclipses illuminate and highlight areas that need to be let go or transformed. Usually, the energy doesn’t wait for us to change it - instead it pushes us without warning. This eclipse is a little “nicer” than the one on June 5th, but it doesn’t mean it will be easier! The outcome will just be brighter - even if the process will be hard. We are making personal adjustments over the next few weeks that are going to impact the course of our lives. Capricorn is about reputation and how we are perceived by the outside world - we are taking a look at the kind of person we want to be - and as a result, how we want to be seen. Do our actions speak for themselves? What needs to be adjusted in order for you to be aligned with who you know you are? These are great things to be asking yourself during this eclipse.

Mercury will be retrograde during this eclipse, and it will be turning our focus on the past - what were our successes? What were our failures? What have we learned? We have to understand that what we have done before can be impactful now. Mercury will be squaring Mars, making us more impulsive - and perhaps hotheaded. However, it will be in good aspect to Uranus, telling us that we can make major strides in the way we approach life and what we think. We could even see a new way of doing something that was previously hidden from our vantage point. But Uranus is also a surprise a minute planet - it shakes things up first before things get better. The news we receive will be initially jolting. Don’t overreact - let things settle first. Venus does sextile Mars, adding a touching of diplomacy and cooling off this little red planet. The Moon is trine Uranus, revolutionizing and inspiring our emotional natures - but again causing us to deal with our emotions, as news can be really shocking. Both planets are in Earth Signs, bringing a sense of order and making room for tangible outcomes. The Sun also harmonizes with Uranus. There is a lot of emphasis on this planet during this eclipse - which signals that we are going to see the fruits of our labor ensue - but not without great and swift change. Nothing is done in vain. It may be uncomfortable at first, and some may resist, but true transformation is here and taking place actively. There is no turning back now. Saturn is the leader of this Full Moon - and has just recently moved back into Capricorn. We are reexamining the structures in our lives and are more willing to tear down what isn’t useful anymore. It widely conjuncts Jupiter and Pluto (which are tightly conjunct), stabilizing the expanding transformative influence that is taking place globally. The New Moon Eclipse in Cancer comes in strong! This is a Solar Eclipse - although it will not be seen from the Northern Hemisphere. The purpose of a New Moon Eclipse is to jolt us with a surge of energy! We usually feel awake and ready to take action. The Moon comes “home” in Cancer, making Cancer New Moons very potent and flowing. This New Moon greets us right at the start of the Summer Solstice - putting it at a 0º. This particular New Moon Eclipse is the final in a 2 year series of Cancer/Capricorn energy - so we are ending a cycle this time around and beginning a new one. Eclipses create major changes - so where we are now is far different from where we were two years ago at the start of the eclipse series. Things are starting to take shape and come full circle. This will apply to our collective comfort, emotions, roots and our home (so the country we live in). The U.S. has been illuminated throughout the past few years in the eclipse series creating major and swift changes. We are setting ourselves up for the next 6 years and beyond.

This particular New Moon comes with a magnitude of retrograde planets (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto) - so although we want to take action, we may also be looking at past projects or needing to rethink our plans along the way. The Moon is the planetary leader for this New Moon, and is sitting right next to the North Node, asking us to reach toward what we hope to achieve and access our callings. Eclipse Season is Here!

So, The Full Moon eclipse in Sagittarius is here! There’s a lot coming in with this Full Moon! This one is different than other Full Moon’s we have experienced lately - it is an eclipse. Full Moon eclipses shake things up, illuminate issues in our lives and force us into a place of change. We don’t have much say with eclipses, we just are moved in a new direction. This one in particular is very potent as it begins the series of Gemini/Sagittarius that we will experience over the next 18 months to 2 years. So, this is only the beginning of this cycle. Sun and Venus are opposed the Moon, shining a light on what we think and feel personally vs societally. We are placing a lot of focus just action and going to great lengths to reach the masses - Sagittarius is making sure of that. Mars and Neptune square the Sun, Venus and Moon. We may be getting overwhelmed, tensions are high and we are really confused at this time. Many of us can’t figure out our own feelings but feel a pull to do something because of the Martian energy. We have to double check our information sources right now, as Neptune is clouding perception and Mars is making us impulsive. Pay attention and think before you act. Mercury and Uranus sextile during this moon, so there is some relief. We are focusing on communication and innovation. We are forward thinking, hopeful and have the future on our minds. We are more humanitarian and charitable, and we aim to put our words into action when it comes to helping people out.
