The New Moon in Cancer falls at 18º on July 9th at 9:16 PM EST. The Moon comes home, back to its position where it feels comforted and nourished by the soft energy of Cancer. The Moon in Cancer is always a powerful time, and this being a New Moon is no different. This is the first New Moon we have after eclipse season, where we can begin our work to start fresh. At the Full Moon in Capricorn, we broke barriers and dissolved limitations. Now, we can let the Cancerian water rush in to cleanse the space and wash away what was left behind. This is a baptism of sorts. We are renewed.
We watch the Moon itself closely as it is the leader of this lunation. Just as the Moon goes dark, we, too, turn inward to reorganize our inner world. The Moon touches the Sun, where they meet in a warm embrace. This energy is one of new beginnings and a reorientation of both our internal and external worlds. We are focused on our nest and our comforts, perhaps seeking to make more room in our homes. We are taking stock of our emotional natures and trying to ensure that our needs are being met before we venture out into the world.
The Moon in Cancer is a time to work with our vulnerability and our careful, intimate natures. We hold the softest parts of ourselves closely and honor the home we’ve built. Here, the Moon works well with Uranus, compared to the harsh square that was formed with Saturn when the Moon was Full. So, instead of forcing our freedoms, we can approach them more naturally. We understand why we had to let go of the past, and feel more inspired to approach our future.
Uranus brings a whirlwind of change and excitement at this lunation. It will not only touch the Moon, but also the Sun! So, this sense of liberation is coming from the inside out. We can feel electric or motivated. There is a huge alignment and shift within us and how we approach life in general. Optimism comes to mind. The message here is reinforced by the Venus and Mars conjunction, both falling in the solar sign of Leo. Our heart is moved by action and passion, a spark being lit by Uranus, that sets ablaze our need to create. Mars will push us to move and assert the space we inhabit, while Venus will soften this, ensuring that there is room for everyone. Leo may like to shine, but it is generous. Creating Stability.
The Full Moon in Capricorn falls at 3º on June 24th at 2:39 PM EST. When we build our fortresses, do we lock ourselves in? When does a structure become too rigid, too restrictive? This Full Moon emphasizes the things we have built in our lives and the limitations we face. As all Full Moons do, there is a need to release and let go. The Sun shines in nourishing Cancer, asking us not to lock our hearts away. We must open the doors and let that light in to fill the dark corners of the room. With the Full Moon in Capricorn, we are asked to rise to the occasion and, with great respect to ourselves, release the burdens that hold us back most. We have finished the eclipses, and now we have work to do.
Saturn is the leader of this Full Moon, where it redefines, restructures, and rebuilds all that has come into focus over the last few weeks. We know that path isn’t always easy, but through hard work, comes reward – every time. Saturn isn’t just the ruler of obstacles but also the ruler of reaching a pinnacle. We have ascended up the mountain and made it to the peak, but we have a different perspective on life from up there. So, to rest peacefully on top of that mountain, we must be willing to let some things go. Saturn squares Uranus, creating seismic activity, perhaps shaking us a bit to see if our foundations are strong enough to withstand the pressure. Luckily, we don’t have our fall from grace. Instead, even if certain pieces crumble, we are still sturdy – standing whole in our place. We are immovable, unshakeable, everlasting.
This Full Moon comes with Jupiter’s touch and Venusian undertones, so from those uncertain moments, we grow. Jupiter, now in Pisces, sends beams of light to both the Sun and Moon, creating a diversion and interception to their opposition. We aren’t struggling – but wholly aligned. We see all sides and work to remain open, compassionate, and expansive. There is a sense that we are being reminded of our own gifts that we have in this life. It doesn’t stop there though.
It is what we do with those gifts and how we use them in the world that is being brought to our immediate attention. Jupiter is being cleansed by the deep waters of Pisces, and the Sun is brightly shining from the depths in Cancer. This interaction is one of the most beneficial transits we can experience, as we have access to ‘belief’: belief in action, belief in self, belief in possibility. And although we have Venus being pulled in two directions, its trine to Neptune will be what reinforces the message that Jupiter is trying to convey. There is endless potential. Nothing is impossible when we have faith.

Mercury is no longer retrograde, and we have a few weeks of the shadow period to help you tie up loose ends left over from its chaos. We have spent the last few weeks with you going through it in some way, shape or form. You have questioned your needs, your identity and how you fit in your role or relationships. You may have had to confront things you didn’t expect to or come to terms with letting someone or something go. The eclipses were pushing you and Mercury retrograde wasn’t making anything easier. Now, we are start new. It is a new zodiac season, Mercury is direct and there is a Full Moon just days into Cancer Season. You will have yourself turning inward a bit more than normal. You may be preserving your energy or resources. Now is the time to get intimate with yourself and figure out what you really want or need. The Full Moon falls in your 8th House, so this is a release of an old cycle. Shared assets, resources or emotions can come up now, too. Jupiter in your 10th House, is working to help you out. It is asking you to rethink what you life direction should be and showing you ways to expand your horizons. Flying High.
The New Moon Eclipse in Gemini falls at 19º on June 10th at 6:52 AM EST. With a gust of wind, the doors are swung open wide, waiting for you to walk through. This New Moon is an eclipse, and with it comes a host of opportunities! Where Full Moon eclipses push us to release, New Moon eclipses can be catalysts for significant change in our lives. They have the surmounting power of 2-3 New Moons in one. The Gemini energy surrounding this eclipse shows us that words hold power, and with that, we can speak our realities into existence. Like the Magician, we create our futures by integrating and amalgamating into our lives – everything we have learned up to this moment. This is the only New Moon eclipse in Gemini of the current series, so the potency of its possibilities feels endless, but nothing is real until we breathe life into it. We float on the exhale of every word and wrap ourselves around our ideas, nurturing them as they take flight. Altogether, we rise higher and higher while maintaining control of our path.
Mercury is the leader of this New Moon, emphasizing the need to communicate, express, and speak. We change everything with a single word. Mercury conjuncts the Sun and Moon, putting our hearts in line with our heads. Although, this is internal with Mercury still in retrograde. We lack the clarity to speak openly with confidence, so we remain spinning our wheels. Neptune squares Mercury, almost making the fog too thick to see through. We are walking, what feels like aimlessly with one hand outstretched to feel what’s right in front of us. We get flashes of insight, like a lightning bolt as Uranus clashes with Saturn, sending electrifying energy down to the Earth. With every jolt, we can see through this fog more and more. As with all eclipses, action is not best taken right away. Mars’ opposition to Pluto will almost force us to wait. The constant back and forth between these two powerhouses can have us unsure of which direction to take, especially as multiple paths open around us.
The outburst will lay themselves to rest over the next few days, and we will regain more clarity once Mercury turns direct in a few weeks. Rework, reassess and realize. With eclipses, the doorways remain open for as long as we keep them open. We have choice; oftentimes we forget that. Lean into the Gemini nature of flexibility and adaptability at this New Moon. We can be where we are needed instead of forcing ourselves where we don’t belong. If you feel overwhelmed, take a minute to breathe and feel yourself lifting up as the air fills your lungs. Just don’t lose sight of the ground.

However, this may look different now. Mercury is the leader of this New Moon, but it is in retrograde. So, you can go back and rework, recycle and reconnect. You may find yourself reconnecting with people or bringing old ideas to the forefront of your mind. You may be ready to tackle what you had left on the back burner. Mercury will be in square to Neptune, so clarity is lacking. You may have thought that you lied something to rest, but it is coming back up now. When we re-enter the past, that means that the unresolved will be begging for closure. You will have to discern if whatever is presented to you needs your attention or not. Neptune is asking you to trust your intuition. I would be mindful of signing any contracts around this New Moon, as Neptune may have us glaze over fine print, couple that with Mercury retrograde, and that can spell missteps and misunderstandings. If you do have to submit a contract or sign something, please be mindful and do your due diligence. Your ruler Mars will be in a wide opposition to Pluto. This energy is a release more than anything. We are bringing an end and finding a resolution to a home or family related matter. There are real opportunities to move forward. Taurus, this eclipse is going to bring a slew of questions around your worthiness and self-understanding to the surface. This is a pairing to the Full Moon eclipse we had a few weeks ago where you were asked to face your fears and confront old issues/traumas. Now, you are re-emerging like a butterfly out of the cocoon. You get to define your values, standards and your worth above all else. This eclipse will also have you needing to take control of your finances and your expenditures. Watch where your money goes and work on budgeting. In addition, you may be rethinking how you make money. Mercury is the leader of this New Moon and will be retrograde in your 2nd House. You may be trying to figure out your next steps financially or with work. If you have applied for a job a while ago, you may hear back now. Alternatively, you may be second-guessing your current situation. Put your feelers out and apply, but don’t make a solid decision just yet! Neptune will be in square to Mercury, clouding perception and making the waters more murky. It may be hard to see which direction is the right one. The Full Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius falls at 5º on May 26th at 7:13 AM EST. The Sun shines on the Moon, reminding us that release and growth go hand in hand. We reflect the dichotomy of our own natures with a Full Moon: the internal & external – intimate & exposed. This lunation, in particular, is an eclipse, illuminating uncertainties in our lives and forcing us into a place of change. The fact that it falls in Sagittarius should not go unnoticed, as expansion results from what is to come. When faced with adversity or limitation, Sagittarius pushes beyond all barriers to reach the highest point it can – and even then, it keeps going. Eclipses show us the truth, and Sagittarius lives solely by that. When we see things for what they are, there is no mistaking. However, as the dust is swirling around us from this influx of energy, we must step back and see the big picture. What is really happening here? How does this relate to my life overall? Your home life seems to be very active right now, more than you would probably like for it to be. You may be undergoing renovations, changes or moving somewhere! Alternatively, it could be that there is a lot going on around family. This Full Moon is in your 4th House, and it is an eclipse. You have made major foundational changes (or plan to), and now you are doing the housekeeping to make sure that you feel emotionally ready for said changes. You may be saying good bye to something, something that you have fond memories of but in pursuit of no longer living solely in comfort. Taking risks can be hard for you, but you know it’s time to no longer live in the past. If you that something needs to be different, but you are unsure of what, the eclipse will bring you more clarity than you anticipated. Watch interactions with your family now. They may be a bit more touchy than normal. Jupiter leads this Full Moon, and it recently entered your 7th House. This is an auspicious transit for contracts, partnerships, relationships and business. However, at this eclipse, it will square the Sun and Moon. There could be conflict with a partner and your family or simply you are aware that there is a relationship you need to expand from or gain freedom from. However, Jupiter will bring a gift. So, if someone or something leaves your life, there will be room for opportunities. Mercury, your ruler, and Venus are in your 10th House. Both will be working together to build a new phase or project in your career. Venus will ensure that money will follow. Mercury will be retrograde shortly after this eclipse though, so you may be reworking or refining. Don’t get trapped in whether or not you made a good decision. The eclipse on June 10th will bring you new career prospects and choices in your life. So for now, continue to plan and work. Whatever comes at the New Moon eclipse in June will be just what you need – perhaps old opportunities can come back around, too! Stay tuned!
Libra & Libra Rising
Decisions aren’t always your friend, and I know that as a natal Moon in Libra. This eclipse may have you caught in the need to come with an answer that you do not have yet. That’s ok. Everything is going to be swirling anyway, and nothing will be clear for a few weeks. This eclipse falls in your 3rd House, so you may have a jolt of ideas or a need to talk or communicate but can find it difficult to put words to what you want to say. There may be something that comes up with someone in your inner circle, a sibling or in your local community, and you will want to rush to help or inadvertently get involved. When we look at this eclipse, it may also take someone or something out of your life. If there have been issues with your sibling or someone in your immediate environment, you may decide to just take a step back. Again, this goes back to decisions. You know that something needs to be done, but you don’t know how to best handle the situation yet. Try not to overthink! This Full Moon may make your mind feel a bit more hectic, so you won’t have the clarity you need. Jupiter is the leader of this Full Moon, where it has newly entered your 6th House. There will be a fresh focus on your routines, work and health. Maybe you have been meaning to get back in to a certain regimen. Jupiter will aid you. It will square the Sun and Moon at this lunation, so you may still not have the full picture on what is going on with you health/work wise. This may be part of what plagues your mind with overthinking. If you are having tests done or going through a review period at work, wait until after June 22nd, you should have all your answers by then. The transits to your 3rd and 6th House will be primarily to bring more flexibility into your life. Learn, adapt and integrate. Mercury and Venus, your ruler, will be in your 9th House. So, you could be itching for growth and change. Mercury’s retrograde period, that begins a few days after this eclipse, will have you re-evaluate your goals. June 10th will bring you opportunity though – more decisions, but don’t fret. It will seem that you are actually re-visiting something you have been meaning to. Just sit tight for the next few weeks and let everything come out in the wash.
Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
With this eclipse falling in your 2nd House, there will be an attention on resources. This isn’t always financial, but it can be. This eclipse is a Full Moon, and we are being shown areas that need improvement or change in our lives. This is happening in the arena of self-worth and the way that you earn money. Perhaps funds are not as high as they have been or you feel that your talents aren’t being used how they should be used. You are seeing how hard you work in comparison to others, and you may need to re-evaluate how you spend your time and resources. If you need to make any sort of change, this eclipse will show you where and how. However, it may not be a time to act. Eclipses do their thing, even without our help. It is best to let things unfold. Jupiter will lead this Full Moon, sitting in your 5th House. There is emphasis on your natural creativity. Jupiter is bring your inspiration and expanding the ways in which you can create more happiness in your life. However, you feel that this is limited by your earning potential or by your job. This is due to Jupiters wide square to the Sun and Moon. The transits to your 2nd and 5th Houses will make you take more stock in your own happiness and learn to put your needs first. Mercury and Venus are in your 8th House, so it seems that healing will need to be done. Your mind is already here. It seems that you can make major strides in your intimate connections with others and how you build trust with those around you. You are selective, so that is helpful. Mercury will retrograde in this area of your chart. So, there may be old debts that come up or unhealed wounds that resurface. This is your chance to finally put this all to rest. The past doesn’t own you anymore. You are self-reliant. You are strong. This is just the beginning. You are headed into a refresh.
SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES
Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
Here we are on the threshold of major change in your life, or even just your year. Since the eclipses started in Gemini and Sagittarius last year, you have been on what feels like an unending path of transformation. You and your relationships have been highlighted, and you know that you may have lost some people you deemed significant. This has not been easy, necessarily. However, from it you’ve grown immensely. This Full Moon eclipse is another chance to shed before you open the door to see what is on the other side. It falls in your 1st House. You may be releasing parts of your own personality or identity that you don’t align with anymore. That is ok. It is a part of evolving. You are going to be in the full spotlight, whether you want it or not. You may come to a major realization or may just feel pressure in general. The thing is, this is temporary. As the eclipse energy will start to settle, you will have much more clarity. First, everything needs to kicked up to know where the weaknesses lie. Jupiter is the leader of this Full Moon, happily hanging out in your 4th House. It seems like you may have a turn of luck when it comes to home related matters. Jupiter will be here for a few months. However, at this Full Moon it will square the Sun and Moon. So, there can be conflict between you and family. Maybe you are overextending yourself and spreading yourself too thin for them. You have to be realistic. Watch for denying your own emotional nature, as well, under this influence. If you want to move, make sure you are very clear in what you want out of a space. With transits to your 1st and 4th Houses, there will be emphasis on your roots and how that relates to the person you are. Mercury will link up with Venus in your 7th House during this eclipse. You may be thinking about a partnership or reviewing contract or close relationship. Venus will bring you and your partner closer together. However, with Mercury turning retrograde here over the next few weeks, you may find yourself going back through past issues and settling anything that doesn’t feel resolved. What you have to remember is that your personal freedom and your desires are as important as others. Take care to make space for yourself this eclipse. Shed old skin to make room for what’s to come.
Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
After the eclipses from 2018-2020 highlight your sign, you have been through a lot. Couple that with Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto all transiting Capricorn last year, there was a lot that you had to come to terms with. Now, under this eclipse in Sagittarius, you more focused on endings and finishing things up. You have done the bulk of the work, now it is the small pieces that you are trying to fit together so you can move on. Part of this lunation will be about completion for you. With every completion, there is a new beginning. You are putting to rest a major cycle and part of that will highlight the need to go within. Seek quiet time when you can. Because eclipses can eclipse things out of your life, there will be little control over what endings may occur. This is like a cosmic broom, sweeping away what no longer serves you. Jupiter will lead this Full Moon. It has recently moved into your 3rd House, where it is expanding and growing your ability to use and find your voice. Your mind may be more active than normal, and you could be hungry to learn or express your ideas. Jupiter will widely square the Sun and Moon, so you may have a hard time putting words to your feelings and thoughts. You may be plagued with overthinking or maybe distrusting your own intuition. With transits to your 12th and 3rd Houses, it is wise to listen to your gut and go with what feels right. That will bring you the mental clarity you seek. Mercury and Venus are transiting your 6th House now. So, work or routine could be top of mind. Venus may bring in new work for you. However, Mercury will retrograde here, so you may be rethinking what kind of work you want to do. You could reach out to past employers or colleagues to see if they can help you find what you’re looking for. Alternatively, health could be a focus. You may want to re-examine your habits and find what can work for you to build a healthier lifestyle. June 10th will bring about more opportunity in this area of your life.
Aquarius & Aquarius Rising
Who you know and who you connect with will be important now. You may be thinking about friendships, goals, future ideas or your network. This Full Moon illuminates your 11th House. If you have a dream, how can you achieve it? Where can you ask for support? This lunation is an eclipse, so you may feel a bit untethered. A friend may show their true colors that you had not expected or perhaps there is something that you know you need to let go of in order to pursue your dreams. Connecting with others can help you see things more clearly, even though you are afraid to ask for help. Really, what you want is to bring things together, but it is hard for you to see the big picture through the details. So, you doubt yourself. Jupiter will be the leader of this Full Moon, where it has left your sign temporarily and moved into your 2nd House. Jupiter can help you find ways to increase your income but also take ownership of your self-worth. The way to see the big picture is to be more self-reliant and self-motivated. You are talented. Why are holding back? Jupiter will widely square the Sun and Moon, so you may feel indebted to someone. Alternatively, you could possibly realize that you no longer align with the values of those in your life. Will your ideas of the future cost you? Or will they bring you more opportunity? With transits to your 11th and 2nd Houses, you can focus on how to monetize your visions and ask for help along the way. Sometimes, we are stronger together. Mercury and Venus will link up in your 5th House during this Full Moon. You could have your mind on creative projects, or even children. Mercury will make sure that you are reviewing what makes you happy and how to use that creativity you have to your advantage. However, with the retrograde period, you are still unsure of where to go. Give it time. If you are thinking of having kids, don’t rush. 5th House areas will come into full focus on June 10th during the New Moon eclipse. Doors will open for you. You may be able to reconnect with people who inspire you to pursue your passions.
Pisces & Pisces Rising
You have been making leaps and changes in how you view your life direction since last year. The eclipse series of Gemini and Sagittarius has been moving back and forth between your 4th and 10th Houses. How do your foundations and roots relate to your work and ambitions? This Full Moon will be illuminating your 10th House. It will highlight your need to let go of something in your work or career that isn’t working for you. Some of you may eclipse out a job, while others may have important figures leave your life. They have already served their purpose. Now, it will be your chance to make the changes you know you need to. You could elevate your status or choose to work for yourself. If you want to find a new job, use this eclipse but know that we have little say in the outcome. Whatever it is, your career will be top of mind. Don’t get caught up in the whirling energy. Let the storm pass before you take a leap. Jupiter, your traditional ruler, will be the leader of the lunation. It is currently transiting your sign and sitting in your 1st House. This transit can feel like the Midas touch. It is a preview of what will come next year for you. Jupiter is trying to help you expand and grow your perspective on yourself and see that success is yours when you align passion and motivation. Jupiter will be widely square the Sun and Moon around this eclipse. So, you may be conflicted between pursuing what’s right for you and what is right for society or deemed acceptable. Pisces energy is always meant to go its own way. With transits to your 10th and 1st Houses, you are best served when you bring yourself into the public eye and inject your personality into your work. You can’t hide anymore. You just need to embrace who you are and where you want to go. Mercury and Venus will be linking arms in your 4th House. This could bring your mind toward home and family. You feel partially like you want to withdraw a bit. Mercury will retrograde in this area of your chart. So, you may be trying to reconnect with family, roots or your emotional nature. You could be putting a family issue to rest or maybe finishing up projects around the house. This will be a lingering thing through July. So, if you feel unsettled, give it time.
