Leo New
Moon Miniscopes

Strength of Heart.

The New Moon in Leo falls at 16º on August 8th at 9:49 AM EST. It is said that a Leo New Moon is one of the best for manifestation and setting new intentions. Like Taurus, Leo is focused on creating all they wish into reality. Leo sees potential and sparks the fire to fan the flames. This New Moon is no different and, if anything, is more potent. It falls on an astrological portal called The Lion’s Gate. This gateway is marked by an alignment between the Earth and the star Sirius. As the star Sirius rises in the sky, it appears that Sirius (the brightest star we can see) comes closer to the Earth. The Fixed star Sirius is connected to Jupiter and Mars, giving power to our desires, goals, and welcoming achievements and success.

What we must remember is that we have to be careful what we wish for. The Sun may lead this New Moon, telling us to light the way to our heart’s desires, but it squares Uranus, creating tension. The Sun and Moon are itching to be released from the confines of Uranus’ hold. We are seeking to liberate ourselves from what no longer brings us joy, but sometimes that may feel challenging or jolting. Uranus is electrifying, creating a cosmic storm wherever it goes – only to show us something that we may have missed before. Pay attention to what you set as your intention. Uranus may take you on an unexpected journey to get there. Be as specific as possible to avoid any hang ups. The positive to the Sun being the leader is that it never retrogrades, and it is fixed itself. So, we can charge ahead confidently with our eye on the prize, even in the face of adversity.

Venus is playing around with this New Moon. It trines Pluto but opposes Neptune. Neptune will try to encapsulate us in its dreamy fog, maybe confusing us or not making us as clear. Pluto comes in and makes sure that the way we escape the fog is by digging beneath the surface. This means we may have to tunnel our way through - however, it has its advantages. When Venus and Pluto meet harmoniously, we find strength and power in our talents and abilities. We see our worth in a new way and come out more resilient than ever. Allow the Sun to shine through the cloud that Neptune casts, and if you feel there’s no other way, dive below to avoid getting caught up in the nebula. If we remain moving ahead with our heart facing forward, then anything can be possible.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 12º to 20º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Fixed placements. So, let’s break this down by sign!

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

Keyword: Courage

This New Moon has been highly anticipated by some as it falls in Leo, signifying the fire of potential. New Moons are a time of new, fresh energy. This one comes in to remind you of your happiness, joy, and pleasure. It falls in your 5th House of creativity, conception, love, and children. You are being asked to have courage to be yourself and find ways to do things that set your heart on fire. This fiery area of your chart activates pleasure-seeking and learning to embrace our sense of expression. The Sun leads this New Moon and meets with the Moon (this is what makes it a New Moon). Both are under siege by Uranus, throwing thunderbolts of electricity from your 2nd House. You could be facing self-confidence or self-worth issues. Alternatively, you could be battling something financial around this New Moon that is making it harder to keep your cool. Thus, we recognize how much better it is for you to find your happiness of the 5th House. If you were considering starting a new project, or even conceiving a child, you might be encountering monetary obstacles that are showing up around this. Uranus is a ‘surprise-a-minute’ planet, so it can be unpredictable and hard to tell how it will manifest. But from your 2nd House, it will be creating waves around material/emotional value. Watch what you spend now. Venus is playing games at this New Moon as well, as it opposes Neptune but trines Pluto. Venus is going through your 6th House, bringing in recognition, clients, and a focus on work or health. You could be trying to get your daily life, work, health and/or routine back on track, but Neptune could be making that hard to do as it is clouding your vision. Maybe you aren’t approaching the situation correctly. You need to see it in a new light. Luckily, Pluto helps. It asks you to completely transform the relationship you have with your body or work ethic. This is about trying something entirely new and making a lasting impact. Be your own advocate and dig deep to uncover what is really causing the issues in this area of your life. Use this New Moon to light a fire in your heart. It could bring you closer to your children, creative endeavors, or even meeting someone (if you would like)! Watch for the volatility of others.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

Keyword: Sanctuary

This New Moon falls in a Fixed sign like yours, so the energy will feel more potent for you. With a Fixed New Moon, what we begin, start, or bring to life can last for a long time. With it in Leo, it impacts areas of your life that need attention. This would be your 4th House of home, family, foundation, and roots. You may find that you are having to face familial matters that you have been avoiding. Alternatively, you could be doing work around the home: buying, selling, moving, redecorating. Whatever it is, it seems that you are sitting at the center of this space. There may be hiccups, as the Sun and Moon square off with Uranus. Uranus is sitting in your 1st House, creating waves for the last two years. You have been finding new ways to change how you approach your identity and motivations. This is about freeing yourself from past versions of you. Because of the tension between the New Moon and Uranus, one of the freedoms must be around how you engage with your foundations or family. If things have been rocky, it is time to clear the area. Uranus will create surprises, so watch people’s behavior. If you are renovating, unexpected fixes may come up. If you are trying to move or buy, then watch for surprise expenses or maybe offers changing last minute. We just have to go with the flow with this New Moon. Venus, your ruler, is also a player at this New Moon. It will be opposing Neptune, but in trine to Pluto. Venus is hanging out in your 5th House of love, joy, and happiness. You may get a heavy dose of reality around this New Moon, but Pluto will ensure that it is transformative. It will change how you express yourself and remind you that you can put yourself first from time to time. Doing what makes you happy is key to your survival and evolution. Use this New Moon to make changes around the home or with your family. You can also have insightful, inspiring, and somewhat tough conversations with people in your immediate sphere. You create your foundations.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

Keyword: Voice

It’s that time again! The New Moon is here! This one falls in radiant Leo, shining a light on your 3rd House. This area is somewhat of an area that feels natural to you. Gemini has a relationship with the 3rd House, as it rules communication, connection, understanding, local community, siblings, and writing. This is the area of our chart where we tell people who we are and where we process information. This New Moon will have you with no shortage of ideas or things to say, but you may be feeling caught in analysis paralysis. Perhaps you have been overthinking things lately or just not focusing – thus scattering your energy into too many things. The Sun may lead this New Moon, but it is under fire from Uranus, creating tension. Uranus sits in your 12th House. You are trying to talk things out, but you aren’t being heard. The 12th House rules all that’s hidden: secrets, dreams, subconscious energy, and even enemies. Someone may show you their true colors now, and not in the way you had anticipated. Emotions will run high at this New Moon, but know that with Uranus in the 12th House like this, it will bring an ending. You may lose a friendship or relationship that you felt close to, but perhaps they didn’t have your best interest at heart. Talking things out can be cathartic, so long as you are being validated and heard…and doing the same on the flip side. Uranus wants you to trust your intuition more than anything. If you need a sounding board, you have family that is looking out for you, as Venus is going through your 4th House of home and family. You could be considering a move, or you may just be relying on family to help you. Venus opposes Neptune, but reaches out to Pluto harmoniously. So, if you are making changes to the home, it feels temporary, but necessary. You could also just be mindful of which family members you let close. There has been a lot of activity in your life lately. Neptune is seeking refuge and a place to quietly go. Pluto is reminding you that your emotional foundations (or even actual foundations) are changing, but it is for your own evolution and growth. Use this New Moon to have important conversations. If you have to sign anything, please read the fine print. Listen to what people are saying and use your intuition to be discerning. You already know the truth you are seeking. Remember to ask for help where you know you need it.

Cancer & Cancer Rising

Keyword: Value

This time of year can put your mind on finances. Leo Season always brings up questions around money, value, and worth. This is because the Sun goes through your 2nd House of income, self-worth, and material possessions. The New Moon during this time of year reinforces that idea and gives you a place to start or try something new. This New Moon is no different! Actually, it seems that you could have the potential to make changes to how you earn money. You could be looking to bring in more, or simply changing your relationship with money. You may also have higher expenditures than normal, too. So, pay attention to your financial picture (especially with the Uranus square I will be talking about shortly). Alternatively, you could be making changes to your self-confidence and what you stand for or believe in. The last few years have seen you grow and evolve into a new person. Thus, you are making shifts in what you choose to find value in. What would you consider to be a tradition for you? What gives you a sense of worth? Don’t allow this to be tied to other people, as Uranus (see I told you we would get there) is squaring off with the Sun and Moon. Uranus is creating activity and a little tension from your 11th House. It seems that a friend, relationship, or dream is being questioned. They could be depleting your resources (emotional and financially), as well as forcing you to think about the longevity of it all. If it is a dream, maybe you are trying to figure out how to fund it. Well, with Uranus, inspiration can come! If it is a friend or relationship, Uranus is much more unpredictable. It is hard to figure out the outcome, but know that you must have open and honest communication. The 11th House, where Uranus is, rules the future. So, your future is coming into focus and something needs to be addressed that impacts that. Venus is creating a little confusion, as well, around this New Moon. It opposes Neptune and trines Pluto. It seems that you are not choosing your words carefully or not seeing the full picture. If someone is having a real or more harsh conversation with you, know that this is a call to change your perspective. But more than that, Pluto is there to support you by showing you that you can make long-term changes, specifically ones that can create growth and evolution in your personal relationships. But you have to be clear and honest. This is about a give and take. Use this New Moon to focus on your values, financial situation, but also your goals. Figure out what needs addressing in your life and don’t beat around the bush. Understand that there may need to be conversations and dialogue. Maintain clarity around your resources, but don’t be limited by a singular perspective.

LEO TO SCORPIO

Leo & Leo Rising

Keyword: Desire

It is your season, dear Leo! “Shine bright like a diamond!” Don’t let anyone dim that light. This New Moon is a call to come back home to yourself, finding clarity in your identity and what you actually want in life. It falls in your 1st House of self. You are carving out a new space for yourself to be more you. This is important, as you have been working hard the last year to figure out what you actually want. Saturn has been opposing your sign, making it difficult to get ahead without effort or hard work. The Sun, your ruler, is the leader of this New Moon. It is telling you to keep your eyes ahead of you and find the ways where you can bring more joy and optimism in your life. The Sun is light that never dies, and you can take this with you as you charge forward from this lunation. Uranus does square the Sun and Moon, creating electricity from your 10th House. There is something going on at work. There could be a restructure, a surprise or change in your career, office, work, or even in your own life direction! You may be questioning what you do for work, or may need to reframe what you do to make it fit where you want to be. This could encompass working for yourself, changes to your personal life, or even a promotion. But whatever it is, Uranus is definitely bringing a call for attention and possibly action. You could feel jolted or overstimulated now. Know that if something comes to an end, there will be something new that comes just as quickly. Uranus is the liberator, so you could be freeing yourself from the confines of your work and moving into a new field entirely (whether by your own accord or not). But it is unpredictable, so we have to roll with the punches with Uranus. Venus is in your 2nd House, and it seems that money may also be on your mind at this New Moon. If you are looking for a new job or have a change to your financial picture, pay close attention. Neptune opposes Venus, so there may be something you aren’t seeing. Double check your statements and read the fine print on contracts. Luckily, Pluto comes in to help you see the long-term potential. Pluto is creating transformations, reminding you that your hard work is not without reward. Pluto wants to bring in more work/life balance with Venus, while maintaining security. Use this New Moon to find what motivates you and excites you. Find ways to express yourself differently and focus on your identity. See what makes you happy and re-engage with your sense of joy. Know that the changes that occur will bring fruitful outcomes in the end.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

Keyword: Respite

It is time to withdraw a bit, Virgo. You know your time is coming, but Leo Season highlights a time to go within and take time to rest. This New Moon is no different. It falls in your 12th House, bringing something to a close and asking for respite. You could be working behind the scenes on a project, finishing up something personal, or even just taking some time off. The 12th House asks for you to get in touch with your intuition and pay attention to your dreams. You could be re-engaging with a more spiritual and hidden aspect of yourself now. You are being asked to have faith and let go of control. This is a timely message as Uranus comes in to create tensions at this New Moon. Uranus is sitting in your 9th House, so you could be questioning your next leap in life, your next steps. Your goals and future are being reflected upon. Perhaps you are trying to find new ways to grow, and that requires a shift in perspective. Morality and education will come up here. You will have to take a stance on something you believe in and not be afraid to share this viewpoint with others… even if it upsets them. You may also be facing a crisis of consciousness, trying to learn to have faith, even when you may doubt yourself. Venus, in your sign, is creating a little bit of a roller coaster at this New Moon. It will oppose Neptune but trine Pluto. You’re seeking external validation when that isn’t what’s going to help you now. Neptune is telling you that you (or the people around you) aren’t seeing something clearly. Maybe your motives are being misinterpreted. Perhaps you aren’t witnessing someone as you need to be. Pluto comes in to provide relief, saying that a transformation and change of expression is in order. If you aren’t getting through to someone, change your tune and try approaching the issue in a new way. Use this New Moon to slow down and take time to rest. It is one that calls for reflection and knowing where you stand. You are being asked to listen to your intuition and know how to take that leap into your future visions. Ensure that recovery and respite are made a priority.

Libra & Libra Rising

Keyword: Hope

At this New Moon, the big questions here are: “where do you find hope?” and “who is there to support you?” You are someone who often chooses to help others, and concede on your needs for someone else. But at what cost? As we enter this New Moon, your hopes, dreams, wishes, network, and support system come into focus, as this New Moon falls in your 11th House. Who do you call upon in your time of need? We can’t be the stabilizing factor for others all the time. Sometimes, we need people to rally around us too. Luckily, this New Moon ensures that you have that. Friends are showing up for you and a dream seems to be within reach. Yet, there is an air of uncertainty. But why? The Sun, who leads this New Moon, is square to Uranus in your 8th House of intimacy, shared resources, and healing. There needs to be a bit of a death… metaphorically, of course. An outdated idea or mentality has to go so that you can actually achieve the dream. This also requires you to get intimate with yourself and others. Are you sharing the deepest parts of yourself? Do people know what is really going on behind the scenes? You can’t hide forever, and Uranus will have you feeling electric as you are itching to break out of your own skin. You have to be willing to confront your shadows, your demons, and your pain. Seeking counsel will be important – even if it is just from a friend. You have to get out of your own way. Venus, your ruler, sits in your 12th House. It is calling for you to quiet down. It opposes Neptune in your 6th, but trines Pluto in your 4th House. The opposition to Neptune keeps you confused. Is it fear or intuition? You are not seeing all of the options that are available to you with a work or health situation. Get a second opinion. Ask to see what is viable for you. Work and health are muddied, but luckily Pluto reminds you that you have the foundations you have at home. Your family, home, or loved ones come in to show you that they are there for you. Emotionally, you have all that you need. It just requires a little digging to gather the courage. Use this New Moon to open yourself to possibility. It is time to ask for help and see that the future is co-created. It requires you having the will to seek support. Everything is in flux, but the outcome will present itself soon.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

Keyword: Direction

What is considered the pinnacle for you? Leo Season usually turns your focus toward your outward life, publicity, and your career. This also encompasses your direction and achievements. The last 6 months have had you working hard and making decisions that impacted your future, and now it seems that you are either beginning or about to begin a new phase. This New Moon falls in your 10th House that rules all of these things: career, direction, and publicity. You may not realize it, but you are in a position of power right now. The ball is seemingly in your court. You could be going for a promotion, looking to switch careers, move or even change what you do for work. Whatever it is, how you build foundation and security in the world is in focus. The Sun is shining in this area, giving you opportunity, but it does square Uranus. Uranus is the planet of surprise, with an unpredictable nature. You may be shocked at what you discover around this New Moon – particularly in relation to your partnerships or close one-on-one relationships. You may be ending a partnership (business or romantic) or be presented with something that you had not considered before. Whatever it is, it doesn’t seem that you were privy to the reaction or information. Of course, this could be a good surprise, as you never know with Uranus. Some of you may unexpectedly get a job offer, be asked to be engaged, or take a relationship to the next level! With Uranus at play, it is best not to try to control the circumstances. It is more of a time to take a leap and see where it takes you, even if it shakes your sense of security. Venus is in Virgo, opposing Neptune and in trine to Pluto, your co-ruler. Venus is asking you to share your successes with people in your circle and friend group, knowing that you are supported and upheld by people in your network. You could be unsure about your future right now though, as Neptune is trying to make it hard to see what is right in front of you. Do you feel that you are choosing between your desires and that of the groups or another’s? Pluto will push this fear out of the way. It tells you that through communicating and talking things through that you will find a solution or ease any anxiety you have. Moreover, Pluto is transforming your perception of whatever comes up around this New Moon. Use this lunation to focus on your career and life direction. Make sure you are aligning your goals with your future visions. Share your successes and feel proud of how far you have come.

SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

Keyword: Faith

Faith, a word that you understand well, but sometimes choose to ignore. You know the power in having faith in yourself and taking a leap toward your goals and dreams. Leo Season brings the fire to nurture that flame within yourself. So, don’t let it die. The New Moon on August 8th is one that reinforces this message. There is a sense that your paths to growth, evolution, change, expansion, and new territory are opening up. This can happen through education, spirituality, work, or even just your own personal next steps. You have been sitting with “where do I go from here” for quite some time. The Eclipses a few months ago may have sort of rocked your world or brought sweeping changes, so now this is your chance to make moves. Of course, that requires that keyword: Faith. The Sun is illuminating your 9th House, the area that we are talking about here. It leads the New Moon, but also squares Uranus creating tension. Uranus is sitting in your 6th House. Work or daily life seem to be busier than ever, almost a little overwhelming. You have been running around with no clear direction. It is muddying what you hope for and causing you to not see the big picture… your goals. Uranus is creating changes with work, health, and routines. Some of these are outside of your control. It could be feast or famine, or maybe you are just looking to free yourself from the norms you always know. Uranus pushes you toward understanding that you can’t control the circumstances, but you can control the outcome. You need to reframe your security. If you are having health issues, take charge. It seems that there are new innovative technologies that could help you. Alternatively, if this is about lifestyle, then maybe you need to rethink how you go about your routines. Make health a priority so that you can live out your future goals. Venus is moving through your 10th House, placing some emphasis on your career and direction. Neptune is opposed Venus, causing confusion between home and work. You know you need to rest, but the demands at work are higher. It seems that family isn’t helping the way you want them to. Pluto luckily swoops in to support Venus. Pluto is in your 2nd House. So, even with a focus on work and career, there is still a sense of security. If you are going for a new job or want to change work, then Pluto will bring you what you need for stability. It will provide the resources you are looking for. Use this New Moon to focus on tomorrow, your goals, and the big picture. You are being asked to take a step back and ensure that your path and daily life align with your vision. You decide the outcome.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

Keyword: Mysticism

It is time to get intimate. You have to face the shadow eventually, and right now, you are being asked to see what has been hidden from view or deal with what has been left unchecked. The New Moon on the 8th shines a light in your 8th House. This is a time of transformation, change, evolution – but also a time of healing, and sharing the deepest parts of yourself with someone else. There is a level of fear that can be associated with this, understandably so. You are very close-lipped about your emotional nature, as you are always the “stable one”. But sometimes, stability requires sharing what lies beneath the foundation. Questions around worth, shared resources, sexuality, close partnerships, and money could come up now. The Sun here asks you to have courage. However, Uranus does square the Sun, making things a little unpredictable. There is an air of uncertainty around this New Moon. Uranus sits in your 5th House of expression, creativity, love, and self-confidence. You could feel that your confidence is more shakeable, or that you are not expressing how you feel correctly. Uranus is itching to help you break free from limitation and choose to take that plunge, that leap. You have to put yourself out there, even if it seems hard, so that people can see the real you… all of you. You can’t hide anymore. This New Moon calls for you to come out and take center stage. Venus is in a fellow Earth sign of Virgo. It opposes Neptune, but trines Pluto in your sign. You could feel that your future is nebulous or cloudy. Maybe what you thought tomorrow would bring is shifting and changing. Neptune is making you unsure of how to see what stands in front of you, but Pluto swoops in to support Venus. It says that you have been doing so much work to dismantle old versions of yourself, and now is not the time to waver. Instead, Pluto has you dig deep to unearth what is really important to you. You stand in your own light, knowing that you are ever-changing and whatever the world brings you will not tear you down. It will only make you stronger. Use this New Moon to dive into the shadow and talk intimately. Confront those fears, and face what lies beneath the surface. You are resilient. You are worthy.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

Keyword: Unity

The tone shifts from the Full Moon to the New Moon, where we go from “me” to “we.” Especially as your 7th House is coming into focus under the energy of this New Moon. Over the last year, you have been dealing with Saturn going through your 1st House, restructuring your sense of being and identity. This impacts how you engage in the world around you, and most importantly your one-on-one relationships. So this New Moon brings an opportunity to make changes on the partnership front. This could look like anything, but the main factor here is that you have choice. You can take things to the next level or choose to walk away. Some of you may be very happy in your relationship and seek to settle more into it. Others see that they may need to have conversations about the reciprocity. Equality and level-setting seem to be coming up as well. This could be outside of romantic relationships – seeping into other personal or professional unions you have (friends, family, work). You are taking ownership now. This is good for you because you know that you have enough value to take up space, too. The Sun is shining in your 7th House, but it does square Uranus in your 4th House. So, it seems as if you may feel pulled in two directions. You could have shifts coming at home that you were not privy to. There may be surprises that pop up, and in turn this could create stress on your relationships. Know that your relationships can provide you support. This New Moon makes alterations to how you view your family. Perhaps shifting your home/family itself (is there a new member coming or is your family dynamic restructuring/changing?). You may feel the need to nest or ground yourself. This is a call to withdraw a bit. It is hard to tell what will happen, as Uranus is a planet of unpredictability. However, it is your co-ruler, so the outcome could be favorable for you. Venus is in your 8th House, creating a little tension with Neptune, but working with Pluto. The biggest thing here is knowing that there is a healing component that must be addressed. Neptune is in your 2nd House, having you change your view on money and value. However, there is still an anxiety there with Venus opposed. Pluto does help, as it reminds you that you can find alternative sources of income. But right now, this New Moon is more of a call to slow down and finish what’s pending. So, take care to tie up the loose ends. Use this New Moon to focus on your relationships. Take a hard look at them and only put energy into the ones that add value into your life. Some relationships may come to a close, but it will be for the best in the end.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

Keyword: Ritual

You can be very otherworldly, and at times, out of touch with reality. However, this New Moon (and Leo Season in general) is a call to connect with yourself, your body, and the world around you. You are being asked to get organized. You know that sometimes order can help you focus, and this energy is with you to get down to business. You can make turning points in your health and work, while creating new routines and rituals that fit your needs now. If you need medical care, this New Moon will highlight that. You should schedule routine visits and simply just do what you can to be better to your body overall. If you are looking for freelance work, a new job, or even just a lateral move, this New Moon can help you too. The Sun leads this New Moon, shining a light on your 6th House that rules all of these areas of your life. However, it does square Uranus in your 3rd House. So, it seems that you may get unexpected news that shakes you up a bit. This is why staying grounded and getting organized is important. There may be information that comes out that really changes your perspective. It may come from a friend, sibling, neighbor, or someone in your local community. Alternatively, you could be signing a contract or dealing with paperwork and discover something you had not found before. Make sure you read everything VERY carefully before you commit or put your name to the paper. Uranus can just create some general anxiety, but the Sun in the 6th is helping you maintain focus if you choose to control what you can. You may even get an unexpected offer for a job! Uranus is unpredictable, so it is hard to know how it will manifest in your life completely. Just go with the flow. Venus is in Virgo, your polarity. It opposes Neptune in your sign, but trines Pluto in your 11th House. A relationship or partner (personal, professional or otherwise) could be causing a little turmoil, but it seems that a friend or support system is coming through for you. Virgo can be nitpicky and critical. Your partner may be displaying those energies. This is about confronting the issue instead of avoiding it. So, if this is happening, then don’t ignore it. Instead, use Pluto to have others rally around you to help you clear your thoughts. Friends are showing you resolution and helping you find ways to navigate whatever tension may be there. Use this New Moon to get structured, organized, and healthy! Focus on what you can control and let go of what you can’t. Try to get in touch with your body and find ways to bring more grounding energy into your life. This could be a chance to shift your routines.

Aquarius Full
Moon Miniscopes

Lightning Mind.

The Full Moon in Aquarius falls at 1º on July 23rd at 10:36 PM PM EST. Early on in Leo Season, we are given the first of two Full Moons in Aquarius. This one falls at 1º, signifying the beginning of something new after the Full Moon’s release. With Aquarian energy so prominent at this Full Moon, we will have our eyes fixated on our hopes, dreams, and wishes – perhaps even our network, community, and friendships. We have to recognize where we are and who we surround ourselves with and see how that impacts the big picture (not only in our lives personally, but also collectively). Aquarius brings truth, unmoved and undeterred, in the pursuit of understanding where we belong in the grand scheme of it all.

Saturn traditionally leads this Full Moon, and it isn’t making any major aspects. This is helpful as Saturn’s influence can feel heavy. What Saturn will ask for is the release of stagnation. Uranus is the modern ruler of Aquarius, and will also partially lead this lunation – here we see freedom and liberation. With Fixed Air being the central focus, we must find ways to free ourselves from outdated or overly traditional mindsets. If it doesn’t benefit the group or support others, it will not be supported itself. The Mercury/Neptune trine amplifies this feeling of attuning to something bigger at this Full Moon. This beautiful aspect runs deeply as nourishing Cancer meets ethereal Pisces, lending a glimpse of hope and adding softness to this Full Moon. However, it may be hard to maintain a realistic perspective.

Venus will oppose Jupiter, making us a little overzealous. We may not fully understand a situation or may lack judgement. Venus, now in Virgo, wants us to keep our feet on the ground, but Jupiter (still in Pisces) wants our heads in the clouds. If we can find the common place, understanding that it doesn’t have to be a choice, we can then use this Full Moon to our greatest advantage. Mercury and Neptune will really swoop in to keep the energy feeling dreamy, nurturing the possibility of the future that Aquarius is so set on looking toward. Don’t give up on something you feel passionate about, but do know that sometimes things take longer to achieve than we realize. The gifts of Aquarius are connection and idealism. Keeping that in mind means that as we pursue our goals, we make sure we have people around us that want to see us succeed, and that help us arrive there.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 27º to 29º or 0º to 5º, you will feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Especially those with strong Fixed placements. So, let’s break this down by sign!

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

Aries, we stand here in the light of the first Full Moon in Leo Season. I say first, because there will be two Full Moons this Leo Season. Where Leo Season may be all about the fun and excitement for you, this Full Moon is a reminder to connect. We find this lunation sitting in your 11th House of networks, friends, associations – but also of hopes, dreams and wishes. Here you may find that you are being asked to focus on the people that surround you, your support system. Who are they? What do they mean to you? Given the more relaxed nature of this Full Moon, it seems that you may have support coming to you in ways you had not considered before. You may be invited somewhere to connect with like-minded people. You could even simply just be asked to spend time with friends. I would recommend keeping those lines of communication open. The 11th House has a nice way of showing you how others can help you in your future visions. If you haven’t heard from some people in a while, start reaching out! Saturn leads this Full Moon, falling in Aquarius as well. It will show you the stability you have in your network. Alternatively, you could be asked to make more tangible plans. Because the 11th House rules future ideas and hopes/dreams, start considering where you want to go. What do your next steps look like? Mercury is in trine to Neptune at this lunation, bringing you around family or loved ones. Mercury seems to have people buzzing and wanting to get in touch with you. Just know that if you are feeling a little overstimulated, it is ok to take some time for yourself. Neptune is transiting your 12th House. In addition, Venus and Jupiter sit at an opposition. You may feel pulled between work and play or rest. Venus is in your 6th House placing emphasis on your body, health and work. You could be trying to find a better sense of routine. Just make sure that you carve out time to take care of your needs. The through line of the 6th/12th Houses would be service. How are you of service to your body? How are you of service to your soul? Use this Full Moon to bring friends, connections and your network into focus. You could be launching a website, open to meeting new people or simply just trying to stay connected with those in your circle. Take a few minutes to set intentions and write out some goals for the future. Saturn will thank you.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

Here we are in a brand new season with an immediate entrance to a bright Full Moon. It can’t get more Leo Season than this. This Full Moon sits at the pinnacle of your chart, highlighting your 10th House. There is an awareness that your career has been influx, evolving or shifting since Saturn’s entrance in Aquarius late last year. Now, we are looking at the first Full Moon that will ask for you to release or let go of something surrounding your work or life direction. This may not be as hard for you as you think though. This is the partnering lunation to the Aquarius New Moon we had back in February. What has happened in the last 5-6 months with work? How have things changed? If you are doing something that you don’t enjoy, then consider now your chance to make that change. Alternatively, you could be up for a promotion, or simply just getting recognition and attention from higher ups or for your work. Whatever it is, you are a little more public now. You could be reaching a peak in your career life. If you feel stagnant, know that Saturn (the leader of this Full Moon) is asking for you to make wise and tangible changes to promote growth. Saturn is in Aquarius, and in this transit, we see that the obstacles but rewards you may receive will be related to 10th House matters. Now is the time to be your own advocate for a job well done. Mercury and Neptune dance around one another at this Full Moon. This is a positive interaction given that they are in trine to one another. Mercury is in your 3rd House and Neptune is in your 11th. Your intuition is on fire now, and you are picking up on more than you have in the past. The subtle shifts feel like glaringly obvious realizations. Mercury is asking you to trust that instinct. Venus, your ruler, is opposed to Jupiter at this Full Moon too. This opposition is more checking in on your priorities. Venus in Virgo is wanting you to pay attention to what makes you happy vs trying to appease everyone. This is highlighting how you can express yourself and listen to the ways that you can choose joy, even when people get to be demanding. Use this Full Moon to focus on your career and life direction. Are you happy where you are? How can you grow? Where do you want to go? Journal about these questions and then start thinking of how you can take action.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

With a Full Moon in a fellow Air Sign, there isn’t much you can’t enjoy. This will be the first of two Full Moons that fall in Aquarius during Leo Season. This one pushes you to focus on your growth, expansion and beliefs, as it falls in your 9th House. The 9th House is an interesting one – there is a rulership of higher education, publication, travel and culture. Each of these are just pieces that can help you see the world, and yourself, in a new way. Some of you may be traveling around this Full Moon or simply just reading something that shifts your perspective. Here in this space, education is experiential and worldly. We can find ways to evolve and leave behind outdated beliefs and pursue goals that leave us inspired for more. Saturn has been touring this House since late last year, so the path to growth hasn’t always been easy. Instead, there have been obstacles. Now, at this Full Moon, you are asked to reflect and choose what to take with you and what to leave behind. If you have been looking to pursue a program, certificate or go back to school, a decision may need to be made or information may be given to you regarding this. To use this lunation to its fullest, try setting goals for yourself that are achievable but still a little challenging. Saturn does lead this Full Moon, and although it isn’t in aspect, it doesn’t mean that we should not honor this wise giant. Hard work brings reward, or so Saturn says. Mercury, your ruler, is in trine to Neptune, creating a beautiful connection between your 2nd and 10th Houses. Here, we see that there could be an opportunity for money, signing a contract or additional income. You may be called for a promotion or take on new work (or a new client). Just read everything thoroughly. Venus will be opposed to Jupiter, making us a little overzealous! Venus is currently traveling through your 4th House, and is Jupiter on its last few days in your 10th. Know that if you were to take on a new role, that you would need to see how that would impact your home life. Alternatively, you may find that you are being asked to step up and be seen, even though a part of you is feeling more shy to do so. Use this Full Moon to push you in the direction of growth. Find what stands in your way and knock it down or reach beyond. The 9th House shows endless possibilities, and with a little faith, we can go far. Now is your chance to take a leap, even if you aren’t sure where it will take you just yet.

Cancer & Cancer Rising

Slow it down a bit. After a fun, flowing and busy Cancer Season, we have now entered Leo Season. You will be taking ownership of what you value, and right off the bat, there is a Full Moon to have you ask yourself just that. This Full Moon in Aquarius is in your 8th House of intimacy, shared resources, healing and cycles. If there have been power struggles in the past, you may find that you are choosing to seek resolution. This may not always be with others, it could even be an internal conflict. You are being asked to release and let go of fears and inhibitions that hold you back. But this may take some work. Not everything is so forthright. The 8th House is a mysterious one that signifies the depths. So, there is a need to dive deep in order to unearth and understand. This same House also rules debts, credits, mortgages and money outside of income. So, you may have some news related to these areas of your life pop up! More than anything though, this Full Moon will bring to light what you value vs what others value. You may be placed in a position where you have to choose and stand in your own power – reminding people of what you believe in. Don’t back down. They will respect you if you stand up for yourself. Mercury is in your sign reaching out to Neptune. This dreamy, watery connection allows you to use your voice in a way that commands attention. However, this isn’t harsh – instead it is in flow. Magnetic. You are feeling profoundly psychic these days and your dreams are bringing so much clarity for you. The messages are reminding you to be motivated toward your own growth. Venus will oppose Jupiter, however. So, be mindful of what you agree to. Venus in your 3rd House wants to get to work, while Jupiter wants to fantasize. We could make some promises that we can’t keep. Use this Full Moon to reflect on what you value and what is worth sharing. Get intimate with yourself and others, opening up and being vulnerable. Release fears that stand in your way and find resolutions to old conflicts or power dynamics. Don’t be afraid to dive a little deeper. There is much to be explored and found in the shadows.

LEO TO SCORPIO

Leo & Leo Rising

Leo it is officially your season, and how fitting that it starts off with a bright Full Moon! We are coming off Cancer Season, where you were collecting, gathering and finishing – although significant changes were probably started. Now, the light is shining on you! Time to take center stage a bit, especially as the Sun, your ruler, passes through your sign. As I mentioned, just one day into Leo Season, and there is a Full Moon. This Full Moon falls in your polarity (opposite sign) of Aquarius. Your relationships are coming into focus now. It seems that you are placing emphasis on others and how you interact or work with them. You may find yourself looking to take a relationship to the next level, starting a new partnership (business or romantic), or even thinking about ending your relationship. Alternatively, some of you may be signing contracts and agreements. This lunation falls in your 7th House – the House of partnerships, others, agreements and unions. You may be faced with questions regarding how you relate to people around you. Are you giving up too much time or energy to someone? Are you not creating equity in your relationships? How can you grow your bond or focus on the balance? Saturn leads this Full Moon, and it has been sitting in this same area of your chart since December of last year. You have had some obstacles or ups and downs with other people in the last 6 months, and you know that your perspective on relationships may be changing. If you are looking to make a commitment or get out there to meet someone, this Full Moon and the next one (Aug 22) are perfect opportunities. Saturn will make sure that whatever you agree to will have longevity. Just be mindful of what it is you are exactly agreeing to. Saturn wants the full picture. Mercury in your 12th House is in trine to Neptune in your 8th House. So, there could be a sense that you are withholding information from someone or that maybe you are working to finish details on a project or contract. If you are trying to land a new client or job, there could be some negotiations, but it seems that there is a bonus or additional benefits to this work. Mercury is still encouraging rest, so don’t be afraid to find time to quiet down. Venus, now in your 2nd House, is opposing Jupiter in your 8th. Money may also be on the mind at this Full Moon. Thinking back to contracts, if you are not happy with the offer, then don’t be afraid to name your price and value. Venus will help you steer conversations around money and income. Alternatively, some of you may find that money is coming in and out. Venus will want you to save as much as you can. Use this Full Moon to create better foundations in your relationships. Understand where you fit in the picture and how to build a balance. If you want to start a new partnership, know that whatever you begin will have lasting power.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

There are a lot of questions around how you care for yourself, and this Full Moon wants you to start acting on that. The Full Moon in Aquarius falls in your 6th House, a House that you understand very well (as it's your natural ruling House). Here, we see health, work, boundaries, diet, routines and daily life come into focus. This Full Moon may be asking for you to take control of your health. If you have a habit you want to kick, then now is the time to work through that. If you want to start a new exercise or diet routine or even take on a new client, this Full Moon can help you too. You may also need to seek service of some kind – whether that is from healthcare professionals or otherwise. Work could be busy now, and you may be trying to load too much up on your plate. Know your limits. There is a reason why this House also rules boundaries. Saturn is the leader of this Full Moon, and it has been hanging out in this House for about 6-7 months. You may be restructuring your or reprioritizing your work and work/life balance. You could be going through some health-related matters or even just trying to build a better routine. Saturn is here to push you. Anything that has been ignored, will now feel like pressure. Mercury, your ruler, will sit in trine to Neptune in your 7th House. Communication is to key in your relationships right now (especially with Venus in opposition to Jupiter). Don’t be afraid to rely on your network and talk to people. It is not a burden. People want to help you. This connection is a gift, showing you that others are coming through for you in ways you had not imagined. Venus, who is transiting your sign, is opposed to Jupiter now. So, you may be balancing your needs vs the needs of others. You could be feeling overwhelmed, as you may have committed too much. Again, know your limits. Jupiter will have us just say yes, but that will leave you exhausted. Especially when Venus wants you to care for yourself. Don’t get bogged down by what everyone else “expects”. Use this Full Moon to listen and tune into your body. Find ways to create a work/life balance and honor your routines. If you are feeling burnt out or overworked, take time to rest. Give your health and yourself the attention it deserves.

Libra & Libra Rising

It’s time for a little fun in your life. Let loose, unwind and relax. You have exited a busy time for your work and career life (doesn’t mean it's completely over yet). However, you know you can’t be all work and no play. This fresh Full Moon early on in Leo Season is urging you to find what makes you happy. It falls in your 5th House of creativity, love, fun, joy, children and self-expression. As all Full Moons bring, there may be a release on expectation. Maybe you are trying to navigate the waters of “what brings me joy” and trying to make time for what creatively fuels you. Some of you may have kids on the brain, know that this Full Moon and the next one (Aug 22nd) are excellent for conception. If you are trying to get out and meet people, this Full Moon can help you too! However, the major theme here is knowing where and how to give yourself a break. Now is the time to connect with your heart and your inner child. Make time for play. Saturn is the leader of this Full Moon and has been transiting this area for about 7 months now. You could be super focused on the idea of happiness. Am I happy? What brings me joy? Is this where I want to be? Am I doing what I want to do? Saturn is teaching you the lesson of passion. What strikes that match and lights that fire? You feel like you have to give up what you love, but that isn’t the case. Instead, Saturn is urging you to CHOOSE what you love above all else. Don’t limit the concept of pure happiness by saying you don’t deserve it. Mercury is in your 10th House working well with Neptune in your 6th. In some ways, you are being witnessed and recognized at work. Neptune is asking for work/life balance while Mercury is pushing you to communicate your needs. Mercury could present you with an opportunity to get real and vulnerable at work. Venus, now in your 12th House, is opposed to Jupiter also in your 6th House. So, there is this dichotomy between work and rest. Jupiter is having you take on too much at the expense of your own well-being. Saying no isn’t a bad thing. It is enforcing your boundaries. Your health may be compromised if you don’t slow down. Venus finds pleasure in the quiet right now. You may be bringing something to an end soon. Use this Full Moon to do what you love and find joy. You can reignite old passions and lead with your heart. Conception may be at the forefront of your mind – whether that’s children, projects or romance.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

Inner security is huge for you. You are a very private person, after all. Not everything is given away so easily. There is nothing wrong with that either. Leo Season can be dramatic for some, and for you, it often signifies work or career matters. However, early on, your mind may be more focused on family or your home – your foundations. You feel the need to withdraw a little more than normal. As a fixed sign, you have sort of been under a microscope the last few months with Uranus opposed to your sign and Saturn squaring it (even Venus and Mars throwing a wrench into things). So, you are just tired. The Full Moon falls in your 4th House. We are refilling our cup. Take time to spend with family, chosen or otherwise, and give yourself space to enjoy your home. You could be dealing with real estate or moving, as well. Usually a Full Moon signals release, so something may be let go in regards to home and family. Alternatively, you may be trying to just reconnect with yourself. Transits to the 4th House can be good for tuning into your emotions. Saturn is the leader of this Full Moon, transiting this same House. You may have had complications with domestic or familial life in the past 7 months or so. Saturn is teaching you the value of stability and structure here. Even if your family isn’t ideal, then maybe it is time to choose a new family? Others may be changing the foundations of their families or home. Some of you may even be trying to forge stronger relationships with your kin. Mercury is in trine to Neptune at this lunation, both in Water signs like yours. This creates a beautiful atmosphere for you. Neptune has been teaching you the value of letting go and just expressing pure joy. Mercury has your mind craving to learn, grow and understand. If you are looking to get into a program or gain a certificate, Mercury can help you. You may also be planning a trip or looking for a little escape! Go for it, with precautions and within reason of course. Mercury and Neptune will ensure you will have a good time. Venus, now in your 11th House, is opposed to Jupiter in your 5th. You may feel pushed and pulled between the expectations of the group and your own desires. It doesn’t have to be a choice. Don’t overcommit to someone or something, when you know you don’t have the space for it. Your friends are often a support system for you, but don’t allow that to keep you from experiencing your own happiness. Don’t let there be any pressure from outside sources. Do what feels right to you. Use this Full Moon to withdraw and go within. You could be buying, selling or renting a property, or even just redecorating. You can also use this lunation to restructure or reconnect with family.

SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

You understand more than most that the key to growth lies in understanding – understanding the world around you, the people you connect with and most importantly, yourself. We enter Leo Season, where the Sun travels through a fellow Fire sign igniting a fire in you. However, just a mere day into Leo Season, we are given a Full Moon in Aquarius. This Full Moon falls in your 3rd House, an area where communication is the pinnacle above all else. Here, this Full Moon rushes in to remind you that your voice is your power and a tool to exercise your needs and desires. You often like to learn through experience, but right now you’re being asked to learn through interaction. Conversations will be important and influential for you. If you have been feeling stuck, reach out to those around you to talk. The 3rd House rules the local community, siblings, cousins and people in your daily life. So, these are the people that will help you. You could be having rapid fire ideas around this lunation but find it hard to start or focus. Alternatively, some of you may be looking to put pen to paper (whether through contract or simple writing). Saturn is the leader of this Full Moon, and it has been here in your 3rd House for about 7 months steadily. The lessons we are learning all surround communication. You are being asked to create structure to your ideas and thoughts and also stop limiting how you express yourself. Maybe there is a need to find foundations in a new community or actually say what you think. Sagittarius usually doesn’t have issues with being blunt, but maybe it's how you word things more than what you say. No matter what, Saturn is teaching you to master communication and change the way you think. Mercury is sitting in your 8th House reaching out to Neptune in your 4th. It seems that family or home will be a big deal around this Full Moon, but not in a bad way. You could be settling into a new space or environment. Alternatively, you could just be looking to rest and enjoy time with family and friends. It seems that if you are battling a decision, you can rely on those close to you to help you. Venus, now in your 10th House, is opposed to Jupiter also in your 4th House. So, although you are trying to find solace at home, it seems that work is becoming a little more demanding. You could be battling your ideas of security. You are being forced to look at the big picture and find the balance between home and career life. You can’t give too much to one or the other, but that means something has got to give. If you have been hoping for career changes or advancement, that will likely be coming in the next few months. Use this Full Moon to work on your ideas and plan ahead. Strategy is helpful, but so is interaction. Use your voice as a tool and a position of power. Don’t limit what you think or try to hold everything in. There is healing in talking things through.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

It is Leo Season, an energy that can feel neutral for you sometimes. We have exited Cancer Season, where you had to focus on yourself and your relationships. Now, the energy changes (mostly) to stability, value and reliance. The Full Moon in Aquarius that we are experiencing early into Leo Season, will make sure that you have money on the mind. This is a Full Moon that comes as a pairing to the New Moon in February. So, if you have made changes to your income since then, this will be under review. If you have not, maybe now is the time to consider doing so. This Full Moon will place emphasis on your earning potential, your value and self-worth. If you are looking for a raise or promotion, you have to be your own advocate. Now is a chance to make changes to how you bring in money, and the next Full Moon will be too (Aug 22nd). Alternatively, there could be questions around your own self-reliance or what you value. This Full Moon could be bringing to light outdated ideas or mentalities that need to be challenged. Saturn, your ruler, is the leader of this Full Moon. It has been traveling through this area of your chart for about 7 months steadily. So, this idea of growth of security isn’t new. This Full Moon is just a reinforcement – a check in. You could be searching for a new job, bringing on new clients or just trying to boost your worth. Saturn teaches us lessons, and the biggest one here is not to undervalue yourself. Mercury is reaching out to Neptune at this lunation. Mercury is dancing along in your 7th House, giving you space to really connect with your partner or a close friend in an intimate way. Neptune will make this feel magical for you and allow you to open up emotionally. Neptune is hanging out in your 3rd House, gifting you with added intuition. Venus is now in Virgo in your 9th House. So, you could feel an itch to explore, travel and learn. You may be pulled between dreaming and reality a bit for you. Don’t get so caught up in the details that you forget to see the big picture. Use this Full Moon to realign your self-worth and focus on your goals. Change your relationships with materialism and money and perhaps even take a leap to bring something else into your life for more stability. You are being asked to create solid foundations. You can’t expect it to come from anyone else.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

The spotlight isn’t always for you. You would rather be a part of something bigger, rather than take up space. Your willingness to see all sides is a gift and choosing the humanitarian cause is what makes you triumphant. However, it is ok to shine a little, too. You don’t have to dim that light for fear of taking away from the idea or the cause. This Leo Season, you will be focusing on you vs others, especially at the two Full Moons in your sign. The idea of identity has been a big topic for you over the last year or so. You have made significant changes in your life. Right now, this Full Moon in your sign is asking you to re-evaluate you. What do you want? What motivates you? Where do you want to go? Leo Season may be about compromise for you, but this Full Moon is a reminder to stand in your power. It is time to let go of the old you – outdated parts of yourself that hold you back. You get a chance to shift how you see yourself (and in turn how others see you). Your view on the world is ever-changing, so why can’t you change with it? Now is your time to shine. Stand out. Take a chance on what you want and follow your passions. Saturn has been touring your sign more consistently in the last 7 months. The foundations you thought you knew are being dismantled to make new structures. You are creating a new identity in some ways. Saturn is teaching you the lesson of independence, autonomy and self-pursuit. It isn’t selfish to care about yourself or to choose yourself every once in a while. Saturn wants you to take a stand and show people who you are. Mercury is touring your 6th House and will reach out to Neptune in your 2nd House at this lunation. You may be signing a contract for work or taking on a new client. It seems that you are a little busier in the day to day than you have been in the past. Neptune can bring in money through creative pursuits. Venus, now in Virgo, is touring your 8th House and opposing Jupiter in your 2nd House. You may be sitting at the intersection of values – how do you value yourself vs how do you think others value you. This opposition may put you in a position of negotiation or make you feel like you aren’t getting what you deserve. Jupiter is trying to help you grow your confidence and independence (especially as it will move back into Aquarius soon). If a work opportunity comes your way, know that you can ask for the pay that reflects your skills. Use this Full Moon to take up a little space. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. You are being noticed and standing in the limelight. Even if you don’t want to be witnessed, you are. So, go with it. Take your motivations and use that as fuel for your passions.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

Cancer Season was fun, enlightening and brought you back to what makes you happy. Now, we enter Leo Season, where we have to get to work. However, this doesn’t mean all work and no play, of course. We can’t ignore the lessons we learned last month. It is no secret that life will get busier over the next few weeks, but that doesn’t make you can’t take time to recharge. In fact, a mere day into Leo Season we are given a Full Moon in Aquarius sitting in your 12th House. The 12th House is your natural rulership, where you feel comfortable. This the first of two Full Moons that will fall here. This one is asking for a release or at least a consideration of release. You should focus on rest, restoration and taking time for yourself. You may have been very active around Cancer Season, and now you are feeling a little tired. Your energy may be lower than normal, but that is ok. Go with the flow. The 12th House also rules endings. So, you could be considering that it's time to end something – or end it as you know it. You could be tying up loose ends on a project, closing the door on a part of your life or even just releasing internal anxieties. Whatever it is, there is a sense that you are completing something. Another piece of the 12th House is faith. How can you have more faith in yourself or turn in something when you don’t see it? Seeing isn’t always believing. This Full Moon may bring you closer to your spiritual practices or heighten your intuition. Saturn is the leader of this Full Moon and has been traveling through this area of your chart for about 7 months. You could be restructuring your idea of what you believe in or trying to build foundations in your spiritual practice – grounding your intuition. You could also feel a bit isolated with Saturn in the 12th House. Have you been walling yourself away? Hermiting? You may know that significant endings are afoot, and that you have to work out the details behind the scenes. Honor yourself enough to know when you need space but don’t become so isolated that you imprison yourself. Mercury in Cancer is reaching out to Neptune in your sign in a beautiful trine. Mercury has your mind still on discovering happiness. This nourishes and cleanses you. Neptune has been going over your sign since 2011, having you travel through the fog – navigating with your heart. The incredible thing about Neptune is that it is the dreamer. It brings clarity to you in ways that you may not have expected. So instead of fighting, lean in and let go. Venus is opposed to Jupiter in your sign, so there does seem to be a bit of a choice that you feel you are making – you vs someone or something else. But why does it have to be a choice? Why must you sacrifice yourself for someone else or disregard them for the sake of you. You can stand strong in your space and still allow others in. It just takes boundaries. Venus’s transit in Virgo will gently push you to own your boundaries. Use this Full Moon to restore, rest and recharge. It is a time of quiet contemplation. Bring something to a close and make space for what's to come. You are on the precipice of bigger changes.

Cancer New
Moon Miniscopes

Nourishing Waters.

The New Moon in Cancer falls at 18º on July 9th at 9:16 PM EST. The Moon comes home, back to its position where it feels comforted and nourished by the soft energy of Cancer. The Moon in Cancer is always a powerful time, and this being a New Moon is no different. This is the first New Moon we have after eclipse season, where we can begin our work to start fresh. At the Full Moon in Capricorn, we broke barriers and dissolved limitations. Now, we can let the Cancerian water rush in to cleanse the space and wash away what was left behind. This is a baptism of sorts. We are renewed.

We watch the Moon itself closely as it is the leader of this lunation. Just as the Moon goes dark, we, too, turn inward to reorganize our inner world. The Moon touches the Sun, where they meet in a warm embrace. This energy is one of new beginnings and a reorientation of both our internal and external worlds. We are focused on our nest and our comforts, perhaps seeking to make more room in our homes. We are taking stock of our emotional natures and trying to ensure that our needs are being met before we venture out into the world.

The Moon in Cancer is a time to work with our vulnerability and our careful, intimate natures. We hold the softest parts of ourselves closely and honor the home we’ve built. Here, the Moon works well with Uranus, compared to the harsh square that was formed with Saturn when the Moon was Full. So, instead of forcing our freedoms, we can approach them more naturally. We understand why we had to let go of the past, and feel more inspired to approach our future.

Uranus brings a whirlwind of change and excitement at this lunation. It will not only touch the Moon, but also the Sun! So, this sense of liberation is coming from the inside out. We can feel electric or motivated. There is a huge alignment and shift within us and how we approach life in general. Optimism comes to mind. The message here is reinforced by the Venus and Mars conjunction, both falling in the solar sign of Leo. Our heart is moved by action and passion, a spark being lit by Uranus, that sets ablaze our need to create. Mars will push us to move and assert the space we inhabit, while Venus will soften this, ensuring that there is room for everyone. Leo may like to shine, but it is generous. The warmth is radiant, magnetic, and inclusive.

Venus will square Uranus, which is our wildcard at this New Moon. So, our values may be in question. It seems as though our need to forge ahead is being fought by our need to keep our safety net. We fear losing what we have because the future is still unknown. When we strike a balance and realize that home provides us the stability to roam, then we are no longer limited by this internal struggle. At the end of the day, the Moon swoops in to nurture us. We have much we can learn from the Moon itself. It is ever-changing — and yet always the same. It is feral — yet familiar. If it can exist in both, so can we.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 14º to 22º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Cardinal placements. So, let’s break this down by sign!

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

We are coming off a tension astrological week, and there has been a lot going on. This New Moon rushes in to pour water over the burns and soften the dynamic. For you Aries, it is time to come home. You may have been feeling unsettled at best, and this lunation will have you focused on taking a respite. Your family, home life and emotional well-being are coming into focus more clearly. This is a time to protect yourself and those you love – keeping them close. The New Moon will fall in your 4th House, highlighting your need to be more private. The Moon, itself, actually leads this New Moon and is at home in Cancer. So, the energy is much more natural and not forced. You may be starting a new direction around your family dynamic or even in your home life (buying, selling, redecorating, renting, etc). New Moons are opportunities to begin again, and if you have been unhappy with something, then now is the time to change it. The Sun and Moon are widely sextile Uranus. This is helpful as Uranus has been creating some tension lately. This can add some levity and surprise around this New Moon. Venus squares Uranus, however, so be patient for outcomes. You may feel limited financially to do some of the things you want to do. Alternatively, you could just generally be feeling more down about yourself, as you haven’t been as confident. Consider finding small ways to take time and create. Venus will have a nice conjunction to Mars (your ruler), and these cosmic lovers will be moving closer toward an embrace. Both are poised in your 5th House. So, soon you may find renewed sense of being – looking to express yourself unashamedly and creating joy just because you can and deserve it. If you have been thinking about children, this Venus/Mars conjunction may be good for that. If you have been looking to concept/start a new project or idea – this conjunction will help there too. Use this New Moon to withdraw a bit and go within. Release pieces of the past to make way for a brighter future. Allow your happiness to shine through, no matter what anyone tells you. If you have been feeling overworked, then try to slow down and rest. Allow the New Moon to nourish you.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

You are a Fixed sign, and in the last week, Fixed energy has been going through it a bit. There has been many ups and downs through Mars opposing Saturn and squaring off with Uranus in your sign. However, this New Moon in Cancer comes in to nourish and heal. It will fall in your 3rd House, so communication and dialogue will be extremely important. This is really not a time to mince your words or hold back. Instead, you have to be more open with saying what’s on your mind and heart – and more so, also be receptive to what others have to say. The Moon leads this New Moon, ensuring that emotions are brought to awareness. Anything that may have been subconscious, now creeps up out of the dark and is placed in the forefront of our minds. This can be helpful, especially if you are trying to create connections. Conversations can feel stimulating, exciting and eventful, especially as the Sun and Moon have a wide connection to Uranus. Your mind may be abuzz with new ideas and ways in which you can make steady and unique changes in your life. You may feel more inspired for independence and ready to tell people what you are thinking. Venus (your ruler) does square Uranus, however. So, this can create a little tension. You may hold yourself back a bit based on fear. Maybe you are worried about being “less private”. Your family could also be creating a little tension now, too. Maybe you aren’t being heard or witnessed the way you need to. This is why the idea of communication is so important now. If issues have been cropping up with your physical home, know that it will be resolved soon. Venus is also moving closer toward a conjunction with Mars. This will align heart, action, will and connection. Venus will add diplomacy and tact to Mars energy, as these cosmic lovers enjoy embracing more than anything else. This can calm the waters in your family and domestic life and make things easier around the home in general. It will be an ideal time to start thinking about renovations or decoration, especially as we move closer to Leo season! Use this New Moon to find your voice and create active and open dialogue with yourself and others.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

You have been in the hot seat the last few weeks, and since Cancer Season there has been more clarity and doors opening. The Full Moon had your mind on others, shared resources and debt – but now this New Moon will change that. You will be more focused on self-reliance and your earning power. The New Moon falls in your 2nd House, where income, material possession, self-worth, value and critical self-understanding lie. Here, we take a stand. This New Moon is ruled by the Moon itself, because of its placement in Cancer. If you are looking for new sources of income or a promotion, this could be a good lunation for you to do so. I would also encourage you to think about what you value and why. What is important to you and how does that impact your daily life? Understanding your self-worth and your morals are helpful as you navigate all of the changes that have been occurring. You can’t be caught up in the ambiguity anymore. The Sun and Moon harmoniously reach out to Uranus at this New Moon. So, you could have a surprise ending that brings a greater sense of confidence into your life, especially if you didn’t have the heart to end things yourself. You may also find that you are being asked to listen to your intuition more, lean into what you know and how you can have more self-trust. Venus will be square Uranus, however, making things a bit sticky. You may be allowing anxiety or fear control you more than you need to. Especially surrounding conversations that need to happen. Waiting isn’t going to help anything. Instead, it will likely make things worse. Luckily, Mars will help Venus, as they move closer toward a conjunction. You may find the courage to speak up and say what you need to, instead of avoiding a problem. Conflict resolution is important. Stop evading. Use this New Moon to think about what you own and who you are. What do you believe in? If you want to find new sources of income or bring more abundance into your life, this lunation will help you!

Cancer & Cancer Rising

You were working so hard behind the scenes and now we are reaching a breakout moment. A New Moon is always a good time to start something, but when it falls in your sign, it is a whole new cycle that sets you up for a year. This New Moon falls in your 1st House turning your attention toward your individuality, motivations, identity and self. What keeps you going? Who are you and how do you show that to others? These are good questions to ask yourself, because you are now in a place where you can change perceptions. This is a time for show and tell – show them who you are, and if they don’t understand, tell them. Make no mistake, you have the floor. You ruler, the Moon, leads this New Moon, so your emotions may be heightened. Yet, there is such a natural energy around this lunation for you. You feel so comfortable here. Both the Sun and Moon are working well with Uranus adding some excitement into your life. Your support system and friends are showing up for you big time. Your dreams are big, and you don’t have to limit the scope of what you believe is a possibility. Venus will square Uranus, so don’t allow yourself to lose confidence in who you are and what you value. If you feel you are questioning your worth based on anyone else, then it’s time to examine who those people are. You can put yourself and your needs first and know that you are not selfish for it. Luckily, Mars and Venus, the cosmic lovers, will be move closer toward a conjunction. Mars will inspire you to act on what you know you deserve. Both can have your mind on money, and there is a chance that you could be opening up a new source of income or potential for receiving money into your life. Just note, Mars can also have you spending just as quickly as you receive. So, be mindful of your budget. Take control. You can form better habits and really renew your sense of worthiness, if you just allow yourself to. Use this New Moon to begin something new for yourself, first and foremost. You are undergoing positive changes that will set you up for a year. Like the Moon, these are all influx. So, don’t feel pressured to have it all figured out. You will have chances to re-evaluate and course correct. Until then, don’t be afraid to leap!

It is seems that the project you are working on is directly correlated to you receiving recognition for your efforts. Venus does square Uranus, however. So be mindful of what is being presented to you. Venus is in your sign, so you have to know your worth. If you are being presented with an offer, make sure it is a reflection of your talents. Don’t be afraid to ask for your value. Mars will boost Venus over the next few days ensuring that you keep that momentum and confidence up! These cosmic lovers don’t meet often, so when they do it is a beautiful union. Mars is making you bold, while Venus is giving you tact. You have more leverage than you realize. Know that fear and intuition are two different things. Intuition is a warm knowing. That is what you need to trust. Not listening to it can limit you. Luckily, Mars comes to align with Venus over the next few days, renewing your confidence and pushing you to trust yourself. We all have self-doubt, but don’t let that hold you back. You could be working hard on projects that people don’t see. It may not be the right time to launch anything yet, but it is coming. Because the 8th House is such a psychological house, it is wise to bounce things off of another (whether that be a partner, therapist, friend, etc). It touches us to see something in a new way. 2017 to 2020 were pivotal years for you, and now you are coming over that hill. This year, all of the heaviness you had, is being transmuted into strength and will. You may have had changes to your partnerships and relationships with others. This New Moon in Cancer will highlight those changes and the new beginnings that have resulted. Your 7th House is being illuminated right now, which places focus on the “others” in our lives. You could be thinking about boundaries, connection and how you fit into said relationship. Now, keep in mind, this isn’t always a romantic relationship. This is about a union of any kind — business partner, close friendship, etc. The energy feels more positive this time around than it has in the last 2-3 years. You may be more willing with the give and take — and they may be as well. If you are single, this is a great New Moon to get out there and meet someone. If you are attached and happy, you may want to take things to the next level. This New Moon falls in your 6th House, and all of this lies here. In addition, health could be a focus, too. You may be trying to do better and be better to your body. The Moon rules this lunation, so you have to feel emotionally aligned with whatever it is that you are starting. There has to be a connection. So, don’t do something just because it sounds right. Instead, do it because it feels right. The Moon will reach out to your modern ruler, Uranus, bringing an element of surprise! It could be that you have recently moved or are changing things around in the home. That seems to be a direct impact to how your daily life is being run. Part of settling into that routine will be tending to your home and family. Venus will square Uranus, however. So this is creating a little tension. It could be that there are financial arguments with loved ones. It could also point to feeling undervalued in a relationship or maybe your partner opening up and telling you something that may surprise you. Don’t fret, it is good to have it out in the open. Control your reactions. If it is financially related, know that Mars will help Venus out a bit. So there will be resolution. Now, we have a New Moon in Cancer, that is just nourishing this. With a New Moon in a fellow Water sign, the energy is so natural and receptive. You can easily accept whatever comes, as it is a reflection of your own element. This lunation falls in your 5th House, so your mind will be on creativity, joy, happiness, creation, and possibly even love. You may get a wind of inspiration that rolls through and empowers you. You may be starting new creative endeavors or on the up-and-up, in general. You know that your happiness is essential, and now that is more clear than ever. What this New Moon invites you to do is reflect on what brings you peace and play in life. You have to connect with that inner child and open yourself up to the fun in life. Let loose a little and relax your shoulders. If you have kids, this would be an ideal New Moon to connect with them. If you are looking to conceive, this New Moon is good for that, too. Of course, this isn’t just conception of human life, but also a conception of an idea or even a romance! The 5th House rules creation, and that is creation of all kinds. The Moon rules this lunation, so emotions may be heightened, but you are no stranger to this. This is a push to listen to your inner knowing, your compass, to guide you in the direction you need to go. The Moon will play well with Uranus, exciting and delighting you with flashes of ideas. You could have rapid fire thoughts and seek to share them with those close to you. Communication is important, especially as Venus squares off with Uranus. You may be lacking a little confidence at work or undervaluing your worth. The Venus/Uranus square will bring a financial awareness. If you have accepted a new position or have a new client, don’t be afraid to negotiate. Mars will boost you up to make sure you get what you are looking for (or at least closer to it). Mars and Venus will be moving toward an alignment in Leo in your 6th House. Your health, work, routines and daily affairs will come into focus. Once Leo Season hits, your life is about to get busier. Capricorn full
Moon Miniscopes

Creating Stability.

The Full Moon in Capricorn falls at 3º on June 24th at 2:39 PM EST. When we build our fortresses, do we lock ourselves in? When does a structure become too rigid, too restrictive? This Full Moon emphasizes the things we have built in our lives and the limitations we face. As all Full Moons do, there is a need to release and let go. The Sun shines in nourishing Cancer, asking us not to lock our hearts away. We must open the doors and let that light in to fill the dark corners of the room. With the Full Moon in Capricorn, we are asked to rise to the occasion and, with great respect to ourselves, release the burdens that hold us back most. We have finished the eclipses, and now we have work to do.

Saturn is the leader of this Full Moon, where it redefines, restructures, and rebuilds all that has come into focus over the last few weeks. We know that path isn’t always easy, but through hard work, comes reward – every time. Saturn isn’t just the ruler of obstacles but also the ruler of reaching a pinnacle. We have ascended up the mountain and made it to the peak, but we have a different perspective on life from up there. So, to rest peacefully on top of that mountain, we must be willing to let some things go. Saturn squares Uranus, creating seismic activity, perhaps shaking us a bit to see if our foundations are strong enough to withstand the pressure. Luckily, we don’t have our fall from grace. Instead, even if certain pieces crumble, we are still sturdy – standing whole in our place. We are immovable, unshakeable, everlasting.

This Full Moon comes with Jupiter’s touch and Venusian undertones, so from those uncertain moments, we grow. Jupiter, now in Pisces, sends beams of light to both the Sun and Moon, creating a diversion and interception to their opposition. We aren’t struggling – but wholly aligned. We see all sides and work to remain open, compassionate, and expansive. There is a sense that we are being reminded of our own gifts that we have in this life. It doesn’t stop there though.

It is what we do with those gifts and how we use them in the world that is being brought to our immediate attention. Jupiter is being cleansed by the deep waters of Pisces, and the Sun is brightly shining from the depths in Cancer. This interaction is one of the most beneficial transits we can experience, as we have access to ‘belief’: belief in action, belief in self, belief in possibility. And although we have Venus being pulled in two directions, its trine to Neptune will be what reinforces the message that Jupiter is trying to convey. There is endless potential. Nothing is impossible when we have faith.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 29º to 7º, you will feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Especially those with strong Cardinal placements. So, let’s break this down by sign!

ARIES TO CANCER

Have you been ignoring things that need your attention? This lunation is a reminder that there is some work to do, but it isn’t all bad. Jupiter is very helpful to the Sun and Moon now. It is expanding your 12th House, reminding you that important endings are around the corner. You may have to complete a project or way of living or thinking in order to find the balance you seek. Jupiter is asking you to trust your intuition and know that if something does come to an end, it will bring a new beginning with it. Mercury’s newly direct motion may also have you reflecting on what has happened over the past few weeks. If you have been waiting for a contract, phone call or some sort of communication, it will come around or after this Full Moon. Really pay attention to your output, recognize where you need to make changes in your work life and open yourself up to possibility. Sometimes, release and letting go can help us. Taurus & Taurus Rising

Taurus, welcome to Cancer Season! We have walked out of Eclipse season, and now we need to recognize everything that has come out of the last few weeks. So much has happened recently and now you can focus on your areas of growth. Last couple of days has had Jupiter doing retrograde, Mercury coming out of retrograde and now a Full Moon in your 9th House. The 9th House points to expansion and reaching beyond the horizon. You can start to remove the blockades that have been limiting you and open up to the possibilities that await. The Moon and Sun will both have harmonious touches from Jupiter, which will emphasize this energy of growth and limitlessness. It will be sending beams of light from your 11th House asking you to examine your hopes and dreams and reach out to those you love for support. I know you have a hard time asking for help, but this Full Moon will show you that accepting support can be pivotal for your success. You could have a friend or someone in your network show up for you in a way that you had no anticipated. They may connect you with someone powerful or simply just check in. Mercury is no longer retrograde, and we have a few weeks of the shadow period to help you tie up loose ends left over from its chaos. If money has been held up or resources have been delayed, you will find that resolution is coming. You may alternatively hear from a job that you have applied for or get a boost in income that you had been waiting for. You should see things start to open up for you by early July at the latest. Go back and double check that nothing was missing from the start or put in a claim if needed. Use this Full Moon to focus on ways to unbind yourself and start explore new avenues or areas of life. Gemini & Gemini Rising

We have spent the last few weeks with you going through it in some way, shape or form. You have questioned your needs, your identity and how you fit in your role or relationships. You may have had to confront things you didn’t expect to or come to terms with letting someone or something go. The eclipses were pushing you and Mercury retrograde wasn’t making anything easier. Now, we are start new. It is a new zodiac season, Mercury is direct and there is a Full Moon just days into Cancer Season. You will have yourself turning inward a bit more than normal. You may be preserving your energy or resources. Now is the time to get intimate with yourself and figure out what you really want or need. The Full Moon falls in your 8th House, so this is a release of an old cycle. Shared assets, resources or emotions can come up now, too. Jupiter in your 10th House, is working to help you out. It is asking you to rethink what you life direction should be and showing you ways to expand your horizons. Jupiter may help you get more money than you think if you are going for a job, or maybe even better benefits. If you are just looking at changing course all together, Jupiter will remind you that anything is possible, so don’t write anything out just yet. Mercury is no longer retrograde, but we are now in our shadow period. It has been touring your sign, so if you have been keeping your thoughts to yourself, you may find it hard to do so now. In addition, you may actually obtain information that was not presented or clear to you before. Over the next two weeks, you will be combing through and starting to make decisions that will impact your autonomy or identity in some way. Use this Full Moon to purge what is no longer needed and focus on your resources. Get intimate with yourself and those you care about. Vulnerability is an asset when it isn’t feared.
