Moon Miniscopes
Collective Connection.
The New Moon in Aquarius falls at 12º on February 1st at 12:46 AM ET. This is the second New Moon of the calendar year, and it comes with its share of ups and downs. There is a bit of the push and pull between start and stop – breakdown and rebuild. However, with Aquarian energy so prominent at this New Moon, we will have our eyes fixated on our hopes, dreams, and wishes – perhaps even our network, community, and friendships. We have to recognize where we are and who we surround ourselves with and see how that impacts the big picture (not only in our lives personally, but also collectively). Aquarius brings truth—unmoved and undeterred—in the pursuit of understanding where we belong in the grand scheme of it all.
Saturn traditionally leads this New Moon, arm-in-arm with both the Sun and Moon. This dance can create a heavy feeling at this lunation, and Saturn will ask for the release of stagnation. Uranus is the modern ruler of Aquarius and will also partially lead this lunation – here we see freedom and liberation. Uranus is once again acquainted with Venus, but square the New Moon, bringing sudden news to the surface. With Fixed Air being the central focus, we must find ways to free ourselves from outdated or overly traditional mindsets. If it doesn’t benefit the group or uplift others, it will not be supported.
Uranus is a wildcard, likely adding tension to this lunation. The Sun and Moon are itching to escape from the confines of Uranus’ hold. We seek to liberate ourselves from what no longer brings us joy, but sometimes the freedom may feel challenging or jolting. Uranus is electrifying, creating a cosmic storm wherever it goes – only to show us something that we may have missed before. Pay attention to what you set as your intention. Uranus may take you on an unexpected journey to get there. Be as specific as possible to avoid any hang-ups. Specificity in our manifestations is doubly important, as Mercury is still retrograde at the time of this lunation.
Mercury will meet with Pluto, where it will spend time wading through the shadows of our mental limitations. We are no stranger to this, as both Venus and Mercury have been dancing with Pluto for weeks now through their own retrogrades. Watch for power struggles and those that try to undermine your success. Conflict resolution is at the heart of this New Moon.
Venus does intersect the square of Uranus, adding some levity at this lunation. Here, we see that we have an outlet for the chaotic energy Uranus can bring. Venus stabilizes the sign, as it still sits in grounded Capricorn. Mars, also in Capricorn, is very helpful as well. It touches on Jupiter and brings expansive ideas to the forefront. Action meets enthusiasm, and pleasure brings positive returns. Collectively, this energy suggests that support is important, especially in a time of uncertainty and change. The next few weeks will bring about the movement that we feel we have been lacking in the last few months.
Get ready to soar.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 8º to 16º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Fixed placements. So, let’s break this down by sign!
ARIES TO CANCER
Aries & Aries Rising
Aries - 11th House - Keyword: Connection
At this New Moon, the big questions are: where do you find hope? Who is there to support you? You are someone who may often try to do things all on your own. But at what cost? As we enter this New Moon, your hopes, dreams, wishes, network, and support system all come into focus–– as this New Moon falls in your 11th House. Who do you call upon in your time of need? We can’t be the stabilizing factor for others all the time. Sometimes, we need people to rally around us too. Luckily, this New Moon ensures that you have that. Friends are showing up for you, and a dream seems to be within reach. Yet, there is an air of uncertainty.
Uranus and Saturn lead this New Moon. Uranus squares the lunation, throwing thunderbolts of electricity from your 2nd House. You could be facing self-confidence or self-worth issues. Maybe this creates doubt in how you expend your energy. Alternatively, you could be battling something financial around this New Moon that is making it harder to keep your cool. There could be an unexpected bill, or maybe a dream/idea comes at a cost. Uranus is a wildcard, and it is hard to see how it may play out. Luckily, Venus intercepts this square from Uranus. It seems just as easy as money may go out, it can come in. Venus is now in direct motion in your 10th House. So if there were funds tied to a work project that has been delayed, they will start to trickle in. It could also be that you are finally getting some of the recognition you have been wanting.
Saturn joins forces with the lunation, making this a good one for long-term impact. Even through the chaos that Uranus could bring–– Saturn can ground us. However, with Mercury ending its retrograde in a few days, it is best to not fully commit to something until the time has come, if possible. Mercury spends time with Pluto once again, asking you to dig a bit deeper. Power struggles or issues around control begin to subside as you find the strength to stand your ground. Mars is sending a lot of positive beams to Jupiter, helping you find the energy to carry through. Forward motion is coming…just don’t rush it.
Use this New Moon to open yourself to possibility. It is time to ask for help and see that the future is co-created. It requires that you have the will to seek support. Everything is in flux, but the outcome will present itself soon. Things may come and go in life, but focus on the people that remain a constant.
Taurus & Taurus Rising
Taurus - 10th House - Keyword: Purpose
What is the pinnacle for you? Aquarius Season usually turns your focus toward your outward life, publicity, and career. This also encompasses your direction and achievements. The last 6 months have had you working hard and making decisions that impacted your future–– and now it seems that you are either beginning or about to begin a new phase. This New Moon falls in your 10th House that rules all of these things: career, direction and publicity. You may not realize it, but you are in a position of power right now. The ball is seemingly in your court. You could be going for a promotion, looking to switch careers, move, or even change what you do for work. Whatever it is, how you build foundation and security in the world is in focus.
There may be hiccups as the Sun and Moon square off with Uranus. Uranus is sitting in your 1st House, creating waves for the last two years. You have been finding new ways to change how you approach your identity and motivations. This is about freeing yourself from past versions of you. Because of the tension between the New Moon and Uranus, one of the freedoms must be around how you view your work and career overall. If things have been rocky, it is time to clear the area. Uranus will create surprises, so watch people’s behavior. Luckily, Venus, your ruler, plays well with Uranus’s wildcard energy. It reminds you that the only way to go is to grow in the face of chaos. Don’t try to control what you can’t. We just have to go with the flow with this New Moon.
Saturn plays a grounding role around this lunation, where it will conjunct the Sun and Moon. Saturn has been teaching you lessons around your personal power, your vocation, and your direction in life. It can bring a long-term change to anything related to your career, so be mindful of what you decide to take on (or not). Mercury will be finishing its retrograde, so our perception is still a bit cloudy. It will meet up with Pluto asking you to really face any fears you may have around being committed to an idea or taking a risk in your life. With both in your 9th House, you are being told that you can expand beyond the limits you see before you.
Use this New Moon to start a new journey in your life direction or career. Go for a promotion, a new job, or even a career change. Put yourself up on a pedestal more and see your worth and value as it is in the light of day. Work on your long-term goals and start making moves to bring them to fruition. You have a lot of power in your hands right now. How are you going to use it?
Gemini & Gemini Rising
Gemini - 9th House - Keyword: Faith
Faith–– a word that you must work with more. You must learn the power of having faith in yourself and taking a leap toward your goals and dreams. Aquarius Season brings the energy to nurture areas of growth in your life. The New Moon on February 1st reinforces this message. There is a sense that your paths to growth, evolution, change, expansion, and new territory are opening up. This can happen through education, spirituality, work, or even just your personal next steps. You have been sitting with “where do I go from here” for quite some time. The Eclipses a few months ago may have sort of rocked your world or brought sweeping changes, so now this is your chance to make moves. Of course, that requires that keyword: Faith.
Perhaps you have been overthinking things lately or just not focusing – thus scattering your energy into too many things. The New Moon is under fire from Uranus, creating tension. Uranus sits in your 12th House. You are trying to talk things out, but you aren’t being heard. The 12th House rules all that’s hidden: secrets, dreams, subconscious energy, and even enemies. Someone may show you their true colors now–– and not in the way you had anticipated.
Emotions will run high at this New Moon, but know with Uranus in the 12th House like this, it will bring an ending. Maybe it is time to finally let go of something or someone in your life. Uranus wants you to trust your intuition more than anything. Saturn sits with the lunation in a conjunction, trying to keep things in order. It can feel heavy, but also help us with long-term planning. Saturn brings you experiential wisdom, where you learn either through hands-on, or through process. Be careful when traveling at this time, as Saturn could bring delays.
Venus, Mercury Rx, Pluto, and Mars are all stacked up in your 8th House. There they are carrying over work, decisions, and unresolved issues over the last few months. You may be confronted with financial news you thought was sorted out or have to revisit. Alternatively, there could be a call to deeply focusing on your sense of power, intimacy, and how you share with those close to you. Relationship conversations will need to be had. Pluto and Mercury sit next to one another, making sure that deep conversations are not overlooked. Venus trine Uranus will bring unexpected news your way — it does seem to be money-related. Perhaps revisiting that financial information can bring about a more desired outcome.
Use this New Moon to truly believe in yourself, opening up the floodgates of potential. Take time, and see the sky’s the limit. You have to learn that some risks are worth the reward. You are itching to travel, go to new places, meet new people, or simply engage in new experiences overall. You are seeking a fresh start, and this New moon can give it to you. What are you waiting for?
Cancer & Cancer Rising
Cancer - 8th House - Keyword: Intimacy
It is time to get intimate. You have to face the shadow eventually, and right now, you are asked to see what has been hidden from view or deal with what has been left unchecked. The New Moon shines a light in your 8th House. This is a time of transformation, change, evolution – but also a time of healing and sharing the deepest parts of yourself with someone else. There is a level of fear that can be associated with this, understandably. You are very close-lipped about your emotional nature. But sometimes, stability requires sharing what lies beneath the foundation. Questions around worth, shared resources, sexuality, close partnerships, and money could come up now.
Uranus, a co-ruler to the New Moon, is creating activity and little tension from your 11th House. It seems that a friend, relationship, or dream is being questioned. They could be depleting your resources (emotional and financially), as well as having you think about the longevity of it all. If it is a dream, maybe you are trying to figure out how to fund it. Well, with Uranus–– inspiration can come! If it is a friend or relationship, Uranus is much more unpredictable. It is hard to figure out the outcome, but know you must have open and honest communication. The 11th House, where Uranus is, rules the future. So, your future is coming into focus and something needs to be addressed that impacts that. Luckily, Venus is very helpful to Uranus, giving you the space to smooth things over from your 7th House. It will take some tact and maybe the empowerment of a partner or a close contact to help you see things through.
Saturn is the other ruler of this lunation. It sits in a tight conjunction to the Sun and Moon. Here, it helps us seek grounding and focus in the chaos that is Uranus’s energy. It reminds us, in the uncertainty, we may have to let go a bit or seek out space for sharing how we really feel about a situation. Mercury and Pluto help this by bringing an unmatched level of depth. With 4 planets stacked up in your 7th House, it feels like resolution to anything that may arise is likely— and one close person in your life will only get closer. Commitment, connection and compromise seems to be a remedy. If you are coupled, this lunation will bring a beautiful long term agreement to you both.
Use this New Moon to start a new cycle for yourself and embrace your shadows. Commune with your inner world and transmute grief into strength. Find new ways of investing or saving financially, but also investing in yourself. Work on getting more intimate with your needs –find the hidden power that lies within you. Form deeper bonds with those you trust.
LEO TO SCORPIO
Leo & Leo Rising
Leo - 7th House - Keyword: Relation
The tone shifts from the Full Moon to the New Moon, where we focus on the “we.” Especially as your 7th House is coming into play under the energy of this New Moon. Over the last year, you have been dealing with Saturn going through your 7th House, restructuring your relations with others. This impacts how you engage in the world around you–– and most importantly your one-on-one relationships. So this New Moon brings an opportunity to make changes on the partnership front. This could look like anything, but the main factor here is that you have choice. You can take things to the next level or choose to walk away. Some of you may be very happy in your relationship and seek to settle more into it. Others see that they may need to have conversations about reciprocity. Equality and level-setting seems to be coming up as well. This could be outside of romantic relationships – seeping into other personal or professional unions you have (friends, family, work).
Uranus squares the Sun and Moon, creating electricity from your 10th House. There is something going on at work. There could be a restructure, a surprise, or change in your career, office, work–– or even in your own life direction! You may be questioning your vocation or might need to reframe your perspective to align with where you want to be. This could encompass working for yourself, changes to your personal life, or even a promotion. But whatever it is, Uranus is definitely bringing a call for attention–– and possibly action. Know if something comes to an end, there will be something new that comes just as quickly. Uranus is the liberator, so you could be freeing yourself from the confines of your work and moving into a new field entirely (whether by your own accord or not). But it is unpredictable, so we have to roll with the punches with Uranus. Luckily, Venus is very friendly to this wildcard, and it shows that a positive outcome results in whatever may happen.
Saturn co-rules the lunation with Uranus, and it sits close to the New Moon. Here, Saturn is a grounding force. The relationships you establish this year will have longevity — including the relationship you have with yourself. It could be a good time to commit. Mercury will still be retrograde and will join Pluto, so you are tying up loose ends in your daily affairs. You may be in a transitionary space. Now would be a time to reflect on what habits you want to change as you embark on a new journey. The eclipses this year will bring your home and career life to the forefront, so anything you can do in your routines to keep balance will be important.
Use this New Moon to start something new with other people in your life. Enact boundaries and keep them. Stand up for yourself. Form new relationships and alliances. Seek counsel and cut out people who have been disrespecting your energy. Strengthen the partnerships that truly matter. Some of you may even decide to take your romantic relationship to the next level. Whatever you do, know that you will likely surprise those around you.

Sometimes, order can help you focus, and this energy is with you to get down to business. You can make turning points in your health and work, while creating new routines and rituals that fit your needs now. If you need medical care, this New Moon will highlight that. You should schedule routine visits and simply do what you can to honor your body overall. If you are looking for freelance work, a new job, or even just a lateral move, this New Moon can help you too. The Sun leads this New Moon, shining a light on your 6th House which rules all of these areas of your life.
Uranus, a co-ruler of this lunation, is sitting in your 9th House, so you could be questioning your next leap in life— your next steps. Your goals and future are being reflected upon. Perhaps you are trying to find new ways to grow and this requires a shift in perspective. Morality and education will come up here. You will have to take a stance on something you believe in and not be afraid to share this viewpoint with others…even if it upsets them. You may also be facing a crisis of consciousness, trying to learn to have faith, even when you may doubt yourself. Uranus squares the lunation, creating some tension but Venus eases this from your 5th House. Pleasure is part of what you need to bring back into life.
Saturn, the other ruler of this New Moon, sits next to both the Sun and Moon now. It is helping you restructure your routines and daily life. Saturn has been teaching you lessons on work/life balance and asking for you to know your limits and what you can take on. If you accept a new position or job, Saturn will ensure that this is a long term choice. However, do your research, Mercury is still retrograde for a few more days. Mercury works with Pluto to ensure that you can get to the bottom of whatever you are questioning, or may be causing you general anxiety. Take your time if you need it and don’t pressure yourself. The biggest thing you want to remember is that with 4 planets spending time in your 5th house— you are making time for you and what you love in life.
Use this New Moon to find new routines and regimens that work for you. Create daily practices that you can keep while maintaining your love of variety. Try new workouts and adhere to a healthier diet. You may be asked to let go of a bad habit or improve something in your life. Watch how much you take on and make time for rest and self-care. Take care of your body, your needs, and know it is ok to nourish yourself too.

You are asked to have courage to be yourself and find ways to do things that set your heart on fire. This fiery area of your chart activates pleasure-seeking and learning to embrace our sense of expression. The Sun and Moon align to bring about ways for you to take center stage. However, both are under siege by Uranus, throwing thunderbolts of electricity from your 8th House.
Uranus is in your 8th House of intimacy, shared resources, and healing. There needs to be a bit of a death…metaphorically of course. An outdated idea or mentality has to go, so that you can actually achieve a dream. This also requires that you get intimate with yourself and others. Are you sharing the deepest parts of yourself? Do people know what is really going on behind the scenes? You can’t hide forever, and Uranus will have you feeling electric as you are itching to break out of your own skin. You have to be willing to confront your shadows or your demons. Seeking counsel will be important— even if it is just from a friend. You have to get out of your own way. Luckily, Venus trines Uranus from your 4th House. So home related matters should fair well! A family member could show up for you in a big way or you could make moves toward buy, selling, or moving. Additionally, Venus trine Uranus may also have you wanting to move furniture around and readjust your home.
Saturn, a co-ruler of this lunation with Uranus, will be close to the Sun and Moon in a conjunction. Saturn can have a weighted energy. It has been teaching you lessons of actively giving yourself space to seek pleasure. Saturn may remind you of the value of doing things that make you happy. It can keep us grounded in the face of Uranus’s chaos. Mercury and Pluto align at this lunation as well. Both seem to be asking for you to dig deep in the areas regarding home and family. If something needs to be addressed or sewn up, Mercury Rx will make that possible. You are almost totally ready to move forward and into the next cycle.
Use this New Moon to let loose and have a bit of fun! Work on finding your strengths and using them to your advantage. Follow your heart and your creativity — let it all flow. Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
Scorpio - 4th House - Keyword: Foundation
This New Moon falls in a Fixed sign like yours, so the energy will feel more potent for you. With a Fixed New Moon, what we begin, start, or bring to life can last for a long time. With it in Aquarius, it impacts areas of your life that need attention. This would be your 4th House of home, family, foundation, and roots. You may find that you are having to face familial matters you have been avoiding. Alternatively, you could be doing work around the home: buying, selling, moving, redecorating. Whatever it is, it seems that you are sitting at the center of this space. There may be hiccups, as the Sun and Moon square off with Uranus.
Uranus is the planet of surprise, with an unpredictable nature. You may be shocked at what you discover around this New Moon – particularly around your partnerships or closest one-on-one relationships. You may be ending a partnership (business or romantic) or be presented with something you had not considered before. Whatever it is, it doesn’t seem you were privy to the reaction or information. Of course, this could be a good surprise— as you never know with Uranus. Some of you may unexpectedly get a job offer, asked to be engaged, or take a relationship to the next level! With Uranus at play, it is best to not try to control the circumstances. This is a time to take a leap and see where it takes you, even if it shakes your sense of security. Luckily, Venus trines Uranus at this lunation bringing some ease to this energy. Venus is in your 3rd House reminding you that communication and conversation are key. You or your partner could get some positive, unexpected news.
This New Moon also comes with a strong conjunction to Saturn, one of the rulers of this lunation. Saturn has been sitting in your 4th House, where this New Moon will fall, since late 2020. Here, you have had to restructure your idea of home or family. Now, you are focused on creating a more sturdy foundation here. Mercury Rx and Pluto are both connected in your 3rd House, asking you to revisit some conversations you may have had. You may need to dig a little deeper than normal, as Pluto is asking for you to open up. Mercury’s retrograde motion wants clarity around something that was swept under the rug. Conflict resolution is important now.
Use this New Moon to focus on your home and family life. Redecorate, renovate, or move. Try resolving past issues with family that may be residual or seek to create better boundaries with them. Take time away to rest and reflect on this lunation. Lean into your nostalgia a bit and make peace with the past. Open yourself up to ancestral guidance, learn more about your lineage and connect with those you love — living or deceased. Know that you create the security and safety you seek.
SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES
Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
Sagittarius - 3rd House - Keyword: Understanding
It’s that time again! The New Moon is here! This one falls in Aquarius, shining a light on your 3rd House. The 3rd House rules communication, connection, understanding, local community, siblings, and writing. This is the area of our chart where we tell people who we are and where we process information. This New Moon will have you with no shortage of ideas or things to say— but you may be feeling caught in analysis paralysis. Perhaps you have been overthinking things lately or just not focusing, thus scattering your energy into too many things. To add to the matter, the Sun and Moon are under fire from Uranus, creating tension.
Uranus is sitting in your 6th House. Work or your daily life seem to be busier than ever, almost a little overwhelming. You have been running around with no clear direction. It is muddying what you hope for and causing you to not see the big picture…your goals. Uranus is creating changes with work, health, and routines. Some of these are outside your control. It could be feast or famine, or maybe you are just looking to free yourself from the norms you have always known. Uranus pushes you toward understanding that you can’t control the circumstances, but you can control the outcome. You need to reframe your security. If you are having health issues, take charge. Alternatively, if this is about lifestyle, then maybe you need to rethink how you go about your routines. Make health a priority so that you can live out your future goals. Venus is helpful from your 2nd House, so you could end up with a surprising new client or contract that helps to redefine a lot of this security. Venus tells you that money will be coming in.
Saturn co-rules this lunation with Uranus, where it sits very closely to the Sun and Moon. It grounds us from the chaotic nature of Uranus and asks that you focus on what you say and how you are saying it. If you sign a contract, it could have long-term impact. Mercury is retrograde, however, in your 2nd House. So consider going back and working with people you have worked with before or revisit old clients and networks. Pluto is conjunct Mercury showing you that there may have been a piece of information you had missed. If money is being held up, give it a few more days — clarity will come with Mercury’s direct motion after the 3rd.
Use this New Moon to really lean into using your voice. Listen to what others have to say— but also share what you need or think. Start a new project or reach out to those around you. Connect with friends and siblings. Write down all of your ideas and seek adventure close to home. Be flexible, use what you know and adapt to the situations that are around you. Your voice holds more power than you realize!
Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
Capricorn - 2nd House - Keyword: Worth
This time of year can have your mind on finances. Aquarius Season always brings up questions around money, value, and worth. This is because the Sun goes through your 2nd House of income, self-worth, and material possessions. The New Moon during this time of year, reinforces that idea— and gives you a place to start or try something new. This New Moon is no different! Actually, it seems that you could have the potential to make changes to how you earn money. You could be looking to bring in more or simply change your relationship with money. You may also have higher expenditures than normal. So, pay attention to your financial picture (especially with the Uranus square I will be talking about shortly). Alternatively, you could be making changes to your self-confidence and what you stand for or believe in. The last few years have seen you grow, evolving into a new person. Thus, you are making shifts in what you choose to find value in. What would you consider to be a tradition for you? What gives you a sense of worth? Don’t allow this to be tied to other people, as Uranus (see I told you we would get there) is squaring off the Sun and Moon.
Uranus is making things a little unpredictable. There is an air of uncertainty around this New Moon. Uranus sits in your 5th House of expression, creativity, love, and self-confidence. You could feel that your confidence is more shakeable or that you are not expressing how you feel correctly. Uranus is itching to help you break free from limitation and choose to take that plunge, that leap. You have to put yourself out there, even if it seems hard, so that people can see the real you…all of you. You can’t hide anymore. Venus, now direct in your sign, trines Uranus to help ease any tension. It reminds you how valuable you are and, by taking a risk on yourself, you can in turn be much more abundant.
Saturn, your ruler, is in a prominent position at this lunation. It sits with the Sun and Moon, keeping you grounded and level headed. As if to say, whatever you start now will have a long term impact on your resources and financial picture. Mercury is almost out of retrograde, but is finishing its last few days where it will then join Pluto. Part of the conversation you need to have with yourself is around how you want to be seen, viewed, and what your primary motivation is. Mercury and Pluto say it is time to release fear and dig a bit deeper. What have you been avoiding? It is time to confront it.
Use this New Moon to open doors to new resources and focus on what you have and what you can gain. You may have to let go to receive. Seek alternative sources of income or money. Look to new pathways of earning. Confront your feeling of being unworthy. Hold yourself in high regard and own your value. Your talents bring you everything you want. You own, create, and hold all of the potential in your own hands.
Aquarius & Aquarius Rising
Aquarius - 1st House - Keyword: Independence
It is your season, dear Aquarius! Don’t let anyone dim your light. This New Moon is a call to come home back to yourself, finding clarity in your identity and what you actually want in life. It falls in your 1st House of self. You are carving out a new space for you to be more… you. This is important, as you have been working hard the last year to figure out what you actually want. Saturn has been in your sign making it difficult to get ahead without effort or hard work. It co-rules this lunation now, so it asks you to put what you’ve learned to the test! It isn’t just that you have gained new insight, but what you actually do with it.
Uranus is in your 4th House, squaring off with the Sun and Moon. So, it seems that you may feel pulled in two directions. You could have shifts coming at home that you were not privy to. There may be surprises that pop up, and in turn, this could place stress on you. This New Moon makes alterations to how you view your family. Perhaps shifting your home/family itself (is there a new member coming, or is your family dynamic restructuring/changing?). You may feel the need to nest or ground yourself. This is a call to withdraw a bit. It is hard to tell what will happen, as Uranus is a planet of unpredictability. However, it is your co-ruler, so the outcome could be favorable for you. Especially because Venus is in a good aspect to Uranus. Here, it helps you bring an end to something that may have been holding you back— or it could allow you to listen to your intuition more.
Saturn, our friend we spent time talking about, is very close to this lunation. It sits in a conjunction in that 1st House, where you are told to really remain grounded, secure, and focused. Saturn wants to know that you are unshakeable, and it grants you the ability to be just that. Mercury in your 12th House may have your mind going through the past, and it will ask you to close the door on things that may no longer serve you. This is more true as it finishes its retrograde and aligns with Pluto. You are building a bridge between past you and future you. This New Moon asks you to walk across that bridge.
Use this New Moon to call back your power. Stand in your body and fully own who you are. Run for what you want and start a new cycle in your being. Seek wholeness in your identity and share yourself unapologetically. Give yourself space for freedom and open the doors to change. Don’t resist what unfolds, instead leap into it. Embrace the present. Own your shadow — and your light.

It is time to withdraw a bit, Pisces. You know your time is coming, but Aquarius Season highlights a time to go within and take time to rest. This New Moon is no different. It falls in your 12th House, bringing something to a close and asking for respite. You could be working behind the scenes on a project, finishing up something personal or even just taking some time off. The 12th House asks for you to get in touch with your intuition and pay attention to your dreams. You could be re-engaging with a more spiritual and hidden aspect of yourself now. You are asked to have faith and let go of control. This is a timely message as Uranus comes in to create tensions at this New Moon.
Uranus is in your 3rd House. So, it seems that you may get unexpected news that shakes you up a bit. There may be information that comes out that really changes your perspective. It may come from a friend, sibling, neighbor, or someone in your local community. Alternatively, you could be signing a contract or dealing with paperwork and discover something you had not found before. Make sure you read everything VERY carefully before you commit or put your name to the paper. Uranus can create some general anxiety, but the Sun in the 12th is helping you maintain focus— if you choose to control what you can. You may even get an unexpected offer for a job! Uranus is unpredictable, so it is hard to know how it will manifest in your life completely. One of the best ways Uranus can manifest is through inspiring ideas in your 3rd House. With Venus in a beautiful trine to Uranus, this is very likely as well — especially as a friend is really showing up for you in a big way. They seem to be a strong presence that keeps those ideas flowing.
Saturn has been teaching you lessons around letting go over the last year. It comes with a tight conjunction to this New Moon, telling you that it is time to actually leave the past behind. You have to trust your intuition more than you ever have before. Saturn gifts you spiritual wisdom and the knowledge that you can still move ahead without a fully formulated plan. Mercury reinforces this message as it retrogrades in your 11th House. It tells you to revisit old ideas or dreams that you left on the back burner. It meets with Pluto to have you confront any fears around chasing those dreams. If you are feeling limited or uncertain, reach out to a friend or your community. People want to rally around you.
Use this New Moon to slow down and focus on completion. Take time for rest, reflection, and respite. Turn your attention to what needs to be addressed and seek resolution. Close doors on what no longer holds value in your life — let go of limitations. Ease into the spiritual space and commune with your spirit. Give yourself forgiveness, grace, and peace. You deserve it now.

Cancer Full Moon Miniscopes
Cancer Full
Moon Miniscopes
Nourishing Our Wounds.
The Full Moon in Cancer falls at 27º on January 17th at 6:48 PM ET. The Moon comes home, back to where it feels comforted and nourished by the soft energy of Cancer. The Moon in Cancer is always a powerful time, and this Full Moon is no different. This is a complete gestation of nurturing our inner potential. At the New Moon in Capricorn, we broke barriers and dissolved limitations. Now, we can let the Cancerian water rush in to cleanse the space and wash away what was left behind. By opening the floodgates, we renew ourselves and everything else around us.
We watch the Moon itself closely, as it is the leader of this lunation. Just as the Moon shines brilliantly, we too, are willing to stand in our own light. The Moon opposes the Sun, where they each stand their ground, two forces of nature. This energy is one of culmination—a reorientation of both our internal and external worlds. We are focused on our nest and our comforts, perhaps seeking to make more room for ourselves to grow this year. We are taking stock of our emotional natures and ensuring that our needs are met as we venture out into the world.
The Moon in Cancer is a time to work with our vulnerabilities and our careful, intimate natures. We hold the softest parts of ourselves closely, and honor the home we’ve built. Here, the Moon opposes Pluto, exposing the underbelly—our sacred realms. The idea of vulnerability is taken to new heights. In some ways, we may feel forced to expose our fears and uncertainties. We understand why we had to let go of the past, and we have to confront the shadows left from that release.
Uranus brings a whirlwind of change and excitement at this lunation. It will not only touch Mercury, but also Venus! So, a sense of liberation is coming from the heart and mind. We can feel electric or motivated. There is a huge alignment and shift within us and how we approach life in general. But, there may also be confusion.
Mercury will be retrograde and square Uranus, which is our wildcard at this Full Moon. It seems as though our need to “get ahead” is conflicting with our need to keep our safety net. We fear losing what we have because the future is still unknown. When we strike a balance and realize that home provides us the stability to roam, then we are no longer limited by this internal struggle.
At the end of the day, Venus swoops in to nurture us, as it trines Uranus. We have much we have learned from Venus in the last few months. Perhaps our foundations must be built with grace and the relationships with ourselves need to change. Just as life is ever-changing, we are the same—existing like the Moon, through phases and cycles that each bring us a sense of fulfillment. We are full to the brim and ready to water the gardens of 2022 in endless nourishment.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 23º to 29º or 0º to 2º, you will feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Especially those with strong Cardinal placements. So, let’s break this down by sign!
ARIES TO CANCER
Aries & Aries Rising
Keyword: Protection
We are coming off a tension astrological week, and there has been a lot going on. This Full Moon rushes in to pour water over the burns and soften the dynamic. For you Aries, it is time to come home. You may have been feeling unsettled at best, and this lunation will have you focused on taking a respite.
Your family, home life and emotional well-being are coming into focus more clearly. This is a time to protect yourself and those you love – keeping them close. The Full Moon will fall in your 4th House, highlighting your need to be more private. The Moon, itself, actually leads this Full Moon and is at home in Cancer. So, the energy is much more natural and not forced — but it doesn’t come without obstacles. You may feel things culminating around your family dynamic or even in your home life (buying, selling, redecorating, renting, etc). Full Moons are opportunities to release, and if you have been unhappy with something, then now is the time to change it.
This lunation may bring some power struggles unexpectedly to the surface, however. Pluto opposes the Moon and highlighting a growing issue at work or with your more “public” matters. It seems that someone isn’t playing nicely with you right, and you have to keep things at bay. Your patience may be tested. Mercury will square Uranus making tensions rise, especially when it comes to feelings of security or loyalty. Luckily, Venus does ease this a bit. Just lay low for now and find the balance between work and home. Some things may feel more dramatic than normal, but give it some time for the energy to wane.
Use this Full Moon to withdraw a bit and go within. Release pieces of the past to make way for a brighter future. Allow your happiness to shine through, no matter what anyone tells you. If you have been feeling overworked, then try to slow down and rest. Find time this lunation to nourish yourself.
Taurus & Taurus Rising
Keyword: Dialogue
You are a Fixed sign, and in the last week, Fixed energy has been going through it a bit. There has been many ups and downs, especially since your ruler has been retrograde and Mercury is squaring your sign. However, this Full Moon in Cancer comes in to nourish and heal.
It will fall in your 3rd House, so communication and dialogue will be extremely important. This is really not a time to mince your words or hold back. Instead, you have to be more open with saying what’s on your mind and heart – and more so, also be receptive to what others have to say. The Moon leads this Full Moon, ensuring that emotions are brought to awareness — and perhaps are heightened. Anything that may have been subconscious, now creeps up out of the dark and is placed in the forefront of our minds. This can be helpful, especially if you are trying to create connections.
We do need to be careful though, especially as Pluto comes to oppose the Moon at this lunation. This doesn’t necessarily make things so easy. A part of you is really seeking out new opportunities for growth, but there is fear attached to this — and you may hold yourself back a bit based this fear. Sometimes our comforts don’t give us what we need, and you could create daunting narratives around what it means to be seen and perceived. Mercury squares Uranus in your sign, so there can be some unexpected things to show up on the work front. Perhaps someone leaves or there is a news that you had not seen coming. Luckily, Venus, your ruler, is helpful to Uranus, which can put you in a better position in the end. Remember that dialogue is what will help you see things through to the end.
Use this Full Moon to really leverage your voice. Get in touch with those around you and share what is on your mind. Write things down and find ways to deal with the busy life you are surrounded by. Try to quiet those voices in your head that hold you back and seek help for any anxiety you may be taking on or hold. Perspective is everything. You need to see things a little differently in order to get ahead.
Gemini & Gemini Rising
Keyword: Self-reliance
With Mars opposed your sign, you could be feeling surges of energy and then some crashes — perhaps there are even tensions with relationships. The New Moon earlier this month had your mind on others, shared resources and debt – but now this Full Moon will change that. You will be more focused on self-reliance and your earning power.
The Full Moon falls in your 2nd House, where income, material possession, self-worth, value and critical self-understanding lie. Here, we take a stand. This Full Moon is ruled by the Moon itself, because of its placement in Cancer. If you are looking for new sources of income or a promotion, this could be a good lunation for you to do so, but it won’t come without work. I think it would be best to encourage you to think about what you value and why. What is important to you and how does that impact your daily life? Understanding your self-worth and your morals are helpful as you navigate all of the changes that have been occurring. You can’t be caught up in the ambiguity anymore.
Pluto opposes this Full Moon, making things a bit more complicated than they should be. It keeps you stuck in this lack mentality that has you questioning your worth. Pluto sits in your 8th House, where it has been dragging you through the shadows, making you face the fears and inhibitions that stand in your way. However, it has also been teaching you resilience, but that doesn’t mean that you aren’t tired. Mercury, your ruler, is now retrograde and squares off with Uranus in your 12th House. You can feel that it is hard to trust yourself right now. Try to find time to rest and reconnect with yourself more. You may be surprised with how much it actually serves you.
Use this Full Moon to get a handle on your resources, material and otherwise. Figure out how to spend your energy– and on what. See what potential opportunities arise around money and try to network with people to see if newer clients or work can come up. Comb through the things you own and purge what isn’t good for you anymore. Get your finances in order. But above all else, focus on how to call back your power, your self-worth and your potential. You have to let go of what stands in the way of you seeing your true value.
Cancer & Cancer Rising
Keyword: Individuality
You have been working so hard behind the scenes and now we are reaching a breakout moment. A Full Moon is always a good time to really let go, but when it falls in your sign, what you release is entirely up to you.
This Full Moon falls in your 1st House turning your attention toward your individuality, motivations, identity and self. What keeps you going? Who are you and how do you show that to others? These are good questions to ask yourself, because you are now in a place where you can change perceptions. This is a time for show and tell – show them who you are, and if they don’t understand, tell them. Make no mistake, you have the floor. You ruler, the Moon, leads this New Moon, so your emotions may be heightened. Yet, there is such a natural energy around this lunation for you.
Of course, Pluto sits in a direct opposition to this lunation, where it may bring power struggles to the surface — especially in one-on-one relationships. Someone may be trying to undermine your confidence, or you may be dragging yourself through that hell personally. Pluto suggests it’s time to transform the way in which you interact with others. Set boundaries and don’t be afraid to enact them. Mercury is now retrograde in your 8th House, having you come through your shadows, intimacies, fears and resources. It is square Uranus in your 11th House, maybe making you doubt a dream or even a friendship. However, Venus does show up for you, so even if one relationship falters, a stronger one makes things right. You do have support, even if you feel you don’t. Just look for the right people.
Use this Full Moon to focus on what you want out of life. See what brings your joy, passion, and happiness. Seek out desires and don’t be afraid to make your needs known. Work on creating more balance in your life and enact your boundaries. It is important. Instead of carrying the burdens, seek help. You have to release what no longer serves you now — whether that be a person, idea or something else. You are in the spotlight.
LEO TO SCORPIO
Leo & Leo Rising
Keyword: Contemplation
It is time to rest, Leo! The New Moon a few weeks ago had you busy, and the last few weeks of aspects weighed heavily on you. Now is you chance to slow down, as this Full Moon comes sweeping in to cool things off.
The Full Moon falls in your 12th House, where you mind will be on completion. You may be working on wrapping up a project or bringing something to an end. You could also be plugging away behind the scenes or simply just feeling a bit run down. Whatever it is, the 12th House invites us to rest. There is a need here to let go and release tension and anything outside of our control. The Moon leads this Full Moon, emphasizing the Cancerian qualities and the need for reflection for you.
Now Pluto does oppose this lunation, so your health may come into focus. Perhaps you have been running yourself too ragged, the global pandemic has weighed on your or you may just be feeling under the weather. Try not to overwork yourself right now or push yourself to the demands of others. Mercury is square Uranus, both in Fixed signs like yours. A business relationship may be bring tension for you or something may come up with someone you are close with. Luckily, Venus does come in to help. You may just need to take some time off or slow down.
Use this Full Moon to really bring yourself in. Take time to reflect, rest, and create your peace. Don’t let anyone or anything take that away from you. Focus on what you can receive and what you can release. This lunation is potent for you — finally closing a door, even if it isn’t easy. Some decisions aren’t to be made lightly, but you know in your heart what the outcomes will be. Take care of yourself.
Virgo & Virgo Rising
Keyword: Idealization
Building a community can be important, as it reminds you that you are not alone. Those around you have been there to build you up and help you when you need it most — even if you are afraid to ask. The Full Moon in Cancer comes in to show you that your friends have your back. This is a time for mutual support. The best thing you can do is allow people into your life, and to connect and converse.
The 11th House, where this lunation falls, also rules your hopes, dreams and wishes. So, a theme of this Full Moon is about dreaming big and now allowing that to die. If you have a vision of what tomorrow can bring, use that to motivate you toward your future. The Moon leads this Full Moon, reinforcing this message but also reminding you to connect with you emotional nature. Nurture feelings of optimism and blend that with your innate realism.
Now this may be a bit harder right now, as Pluto opposes the Full Moon from your 5th House. You may lack confidence in yourself to truly ask for the help you need. You could feel that your fire for life has dwindled a bit and there is a fear of taking up space. Some friends may have also let you down in the past, and this isn’t always easy to deal with. Mercury, your ruler, is square Uranus at this lunation, as well. There may be a surprise shake up with your health or well-being and this sends you into a bit of a panic. Maybe work is too much right now or you are feeling the impacts of the ongoing global pandemic. Seek the attention you need, ask for support and don’t feel like you can make this all on your own if you know you need help.
Use this Full Moon to call upon your friends and community. Seek help and ask for it when you need it. People will show up for you. Don’t falter in the face of fear or allow anyone to undermine you. Take control of your future and go in the direction of your dreams. Focus on what really matters to you. You create the outcome.

Are you feeling like you are doing what you want to do? How does this influence your daily life? Are you overwhelmed right now? Taking on too much? In some ways, you may be reaching a pinnacle. You could be redefining your purpose and pushing yourself to the next level. The Moon is the leader of this lunation, and it will ask for a release. So what is it going to be?
Pluto does oppose this lunation, where it will bring up issues or brewing problems on the home front. SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES
Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
Keyword: Evolution
You have come so far, and last month or so was a wild ride for you! The eclipse series had been falling between your sign and polarity (Gemini), and it has now ended. So the intensity has been magnified for you. Right now though, your mind turns toward some healing, slowing down and focusing on what’s here in front of you. This Full Moon reinforces that message.
It falls in your 8th House, this is puts attention on shedding old skin, releasing and unearthing. You could be undoing the past few years and witnessing how far you have come in the last 6-12 months. Your life has completely transformed. This Full Moon is asking for you to get intimate. Focus on your emotional well-being, but also share your depths with those you are close to. It could be a great Full Moon for exploring interests and opening yourself up to the unknown. Alternatively, some of you may have past issues that crop up and need your attention. Because the 8th House is such a psychological house, it is wise to bounce things off of another (whether that be a partner, therapist, friend, etc). It touches us to see something in a new way.
Pluto will oppose this Full Moon from your 2nd House where it may have you second guessing your worth or value. Perhaps money is a bit tight right now or there is a sense that someone may have a hold over you. Don’t let your security be defined by anyone else and don’t allow your resources to be what motivates or limits you. Venus is retrograde, so financial review is in order, and taking control of this can help you have a strong sense of ownership and empowerment. Find time to break cycles that keep you in harmful patterns. You are like a snake, constantly shedding skin.

Keyword: Understanding
2017 to 2020 were pivotal years for you, and this past month has brought up some of those same themes. All of the heaviness you had, is being transmuted into strength and will. You may have had changes to your partnerships and relationships with others. This Full Moon in Cancer will highlight those changes and what still needs to be released.
Your 7th House is being illuminated right now, which places focus on the “others” in our lives. You could be thinking about boundaries, connection and how you fit into said relationship. Now, keep in mind, this isn’t always a romantic relationship. This is about a union of any kind — business partner, close friendship, etc. You may be more willing with the give and take — just know to keep a balance. If you are single, this is can be a time to meet someone. If you are attached and happy, you may want to take things to the next level. Now, here’s the thing about 7th House transits, if you are UNHAPPY, then know that a new beginning may be sparked by and ending (but of course it will be for the best in the end). Only you know the intricacies of this relationship.
Pluto is in your sign and opposes this Full Moon. It isn’t so much that you are changing the dynamics of your relationships but also the relationship you have with yourself. You have been taught how to be a phoenix, resilient and evolving — however, this doesn’t mean you can’t be tender with yourself either. Strength isn’t always about fortitude…it can also be about intimacy and the willingness to be vulnerable. Mercury in your 2nd House squares Uranus in your 5th. So, there can be surprising financial news that arises around this lunation. Venus in your sign will ensure that whatever comes up will be for the best in the end. Try not to act too quickly and give things time to come to fullness before making any decisions.
Use this Full Moon to evaluate your relationships and focus on how much energy is putting into yourself or others. If it is imbalanced, it is time to restore it all to equilibrium. Pluto is pulling you into yourself, a call to nourish yourself from the inside out — perhaps really embrace your own personal evolution. Let the river run through your soul and cleanse every piece of you. It is time.

Keyword: Regimen
You are taking things slow right now. You have been making changes to your daily routine and your life, in general, even in subtle ways. But it seems that the day to day operations are what are making the most impact. You are looking to take more ownership and control of your daily affairs. You maybe finding your way in a new job or simply just settling into a new routine.
This Full Moon falls in your 6th House, and all of this lies here. In addition, health could be a focus, too. You may be trying to do better and be better to your body. A Full Moon in your 6th House is an excellent time to look for work and to start routines that you want to carry with you into the long term. The Moon rules this lunation, so you have to feel emotionally aligned with whatever it is that you are starting. There has to be a connection. So, don’t do something just because it sounds right. Instead, do it because it feels right.
In terms of health, slow down when you can. Pluto does oppose this Full Moon from your 12th House. It seems clear that you need more rest than normal, and any go-go-go isn’t helping. There could be quiet transformations happening in the background that even you are not privy to yet. The 12th House rules endings, so if a chapter comes to a close, let it. New things are on the horizon. Mercury is now retrograde in your sign and squares off with Uranus in your 4th House. There could be surprises that come up around a family member, home-related matter or even just something more personal to you. Take time to digest everything. The dust will settle soon, but you need to ensure that you have time to process. Once February hits, you will feel more empowered and ready to hit the ground running.
Use this Full Moon to focus on your schedule, routines, and daily life. Try to rearrange things to make it work for you. Don’t be afraid to state your needs and listen to your body more. Get back on track by caring for yourself, and try not to overextend into doing too much. Know your limits.

Keyword: Creativity
Right now, you are receiving reminders of what it means to focus on your own joy — and we have a Full Moon in Cancer, that is helping you with this. With a Full Moon in a fellow Water sign, the energy is more natural and receptive. You can easily accept whatever comes, as it is a reflection of your own element.
This lunation falls in your 5th House, so your mind will be on creativity, joy, happiness, creation, and possibly even love. You may get a wind of inspiration that rolls through and empowers you. You know that your happiness is essential, and now that is more clear than ever. What this Full Moon invites you to do is reflect on what brings you pleasure and play in life. You have to connect with that inner child and open yourself up to the fun in life. Let loose a little and relax your shoulders. Of course, this isn’t just conception of human life, but also a conception of an idea or even a romance! The 5th House rules creation, and that is creation of all kinds. The Moon rules this lunation, so emotions may be heightened, but you are no stranger to this. This is a push to listen to your inner knowing, your compass, to guide you in the direction you need to go.
Now, Pluto does oppose this Full Moon from your 11th House. Perhaps a dream you have/had seems less attainable now. Maybe you are making yourself small in the face of appeasing others. Be careful of this narrative. You have support from the right people, even if there is a friend, network, group or a relationship that may disappoint you. Mercury squares Uranus at this lunation, so tensions will be high. Mercury is traveling through your 12th House, turning your mind toward needing rest and restoration. Uranus in your 3rd House brings a sudden sense of busyness, though. So you seem to be battling the overwhelm. Surprise news may come as a result of this Full Moon. Find ways to keep your center right now. February brings better days.
Use this Full Moon to open yourself creatively. Follow your passions and listen to your heart. Go with what sets your soul ablaze and don’t let anyone stop you. Give voice to your happiness and your joy. You can take up space, it doesn’t mean that someone else doesn’t get their share, too. Start a creative project and just genuinely allow yourself time to relax. Your heart is your guiding force. Where will it lead you?

Capricorn New Moon Miniscopes
Capricorn New
Moon Miniscopes
Building Structures.
The New Moon in Capricorn falls at 12º on January 2nd at 1:33 PM ET. As we enter this new year, we are given a fresh lunar cycle—one where we are called to reform and restructure. The New Moon in Capricorn grounds us as we embark on a journey toward growth. It supports, creating foundations and structures where there once was none. Standing like a mountain in the middle of the ocean, it is a shelter to keep us from drowning in the icy sea of Winter. This New Moon is concerned with where we lay our roots and set ourselves up, acting like a space of protection as we find our way. Here, we start to build toward something bigger than ourselves.
However, when we carve out our space on this mountain, do we lock ourselves in? When does a structure become too rigid, too restrictive? Saturn is the leader of this New Moon, where it redefines, restructures, and rebuilds all that has come into focus over the last year. We know that path isn’t always easy, but with hard work comes reward—every time. Saturn isn’t just the ruler of obstacles, but also where we reach the pinnacle of success. We have ascended up the mountain, made it to the top, but now we have a different perspective of life atop the peak. To rest peacefully on top of that mountain, we must be willing to let some things go. Saturn is gifted support from Mars, backing our ambitions with motivation. This is about calculated action and intentional movement—a reminder that even in the face of hardship we are immovable, unshakeable, everlasting.
This New Moon comes with a trine to Uranus, where innovation and releasing the shackles of old narratives light the way. We must understand the story of the Devil in Tarot, where excess and extreme scarcity leave us in the dark. We have to bring it back to a balance. Uranus is the Fool, pushing us to leap into new possibilities. This energy is backed by Mercury’s ingress into Aquarius, where we don’t just hope to embody this idea, we actually believe it to be our only way. Yet, in our moments of staring over the ledge, we are told to also seek support—especially as Mercury in Aquarius has our mind focused on collaboration. We are not alone as we free-fall into the unknown. Uranus will ensure we are rewarded through our willingness to have faith and take a chance on ourselves.
Venus plays an interesting role here, still retrograde from December, as it sits close to Pluto (also in Capricorn) and holds Neptune close in a harmonious sextile. It is from self-reflection and our ability to transform our inner world that we actually learn to ground our dreams into reality. All of this works together to support that Uranus trine to the New Moon, but it won’t come without a confrontation of the shadow.
Forgiveness and compassion lead the way toward greater self-acceptance. It is from here we can truly enjoy the fruits of our labor and sit in our success. The New Moon sets the tone for the year to come, so how will you work with this energy? This is a pathway built with long-term potential. Nothing is impossible–– when we have faith.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 8º to 16º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Cardinal placements. So, let’s break this down by sign!
NOTE: Since this New Moon falls near the calendar New Year, I have included Journal Prompts for each sign! Enjoy!

We begin the New Year with a New Moon, a phase focused on fresh starts and renewal. New Moons are when we plant seeds and open doors for new opportunities, perhaps even revisiting our previous goals in new ways. This New Moon is one that keeps us focused, grounded and not without a little excitement (thanks to Uranus).
The New Moon falls in your 10th House, focused on your career, life direction and your goals toward your personal idea of success. You may want to take a hard look at your life direction and career and decide if it aligns with you and where you want to go. You could seek out new jobs, promotions, change your line of work or even solidify your space in your career. There is a sense that you are being noticed now, too. The 10th House is a public house, one where your image is important. Authority figures and prominent people are watching you and paying attention to what you are doing.
Luckily, both the Sun and Moon are trine Uranus in your 2nd House. This suggests that there could be a little extra something financial coming your way. All of your hard work isn’t unappreciated. If you are out of work, you may find that you are putting out resumes, having interviews or even considering other avenues for your own personal next steps. Either way it does seem that money is there, and perhaps unexpectedly so.
Interestingly, Venus is still retrograde in the 10th House of your chart — and it will be for a few more weeks. You are really combing through what is important to you in your work and your career. Maybe old bosses, coworkers and important work relationships seem to bubble up at this time. You may have to renegotiate a few contracts or really take a hard look at how you are being valued in what you do and provide. Mercury moves into Aquarius the same day as this New Moon, and it brings the network with it. So, you have the right people on your side to support, if you just ask.
Use this New Moon to help you make the appropriate moves in your career or life direction. Pay attention to pathways that open up in front of you, and reconnect with people from your industry. Seek help for any pending projects or issues from professionals. Rethink what you want out of your long-term goals and make commitments to starting the process.

A New Year and a new phase of the Moon. We start this year with a fresh cycle where we start to consider that we deserve something different. The space where you allow yourself to grow is the one that takes flight, especially as this New Moon falls in a fellow Earth Sign.
The lunation peaks in your 9th House, where you are asked to reach far beyond and stretch toward new horizons. This is a time of learning, understanding and making time for your own potential growth. This, in part, requires you to take a few more risks. You could be taking on a new course of study, itching to travel, getting in touch with what inspires you, or simply just adjusting your mindset. This is a call to change your perspective a bit, too.
Uranus, sitting in your sign, trines the Sun and Moon suggesting that you may surprise other people with the growth you’re looking to undergo or with the new pieces of yourself that you are learning to embrace. Add a dash of spontaneity in your life and truly give yourself space to roam free.
Venus, your ruler, is still retrograde — sitting in that 9th House. This is perfect timing for this New Moon, as it feels like a bit of a turning point. You could be coming to terms with some of the things you are personally confronting. There are a lot of internal philosophical moments that you may be having, where you are almost forced to reflect on how far you have come and what steps in your journey still lie ahead. Venus asks for you to shed those old beliefs. Mercury moves into your 10th House, where space for fresh perspectives actually come from work and your life direction. Maybe the pondering you are doing is related to the work you do and where you see yourself in the next few years. This would be an ideal time to take to contacts in your industry and hold those important meetings. People are listening to you.
Use this New Moon to reignite the flame. Get inspired and reflect on all the wisdom you have gained in life. Practically apply knowledge from your past into the present moment, and allow your dreams to take flight. Growth is inevitable — so move with it, not against it.
Journal prompts:

A New Moon falls at the start of the year, and we are asked to consider new areas of growth or change. This is a new cycle for the Moon, but in some ways, also a new cycle for ourselves, as well. This is a time where we can begin to embrace what will be and what has come to a close.
I would say the word “cycle” is important to you, especially as this New Moon sits in your 8th House. The 8th House rules intimacy, cycles, magick, shared resources, death/beginnings, and the shadows. You are descending into the shadow, and you are asked to confront what lies beneath the surface. Resilience is key as you walk through fire and ice to get to the core of what keeps you in your holding patterns. Like a Phoenix, you can rise again, burning brighter, faster, and hotter than ever before — but it may require a personal confrontation to your own limitations first.
Luckily, Uranus supports the Sun and Moon from your 12th House, and there is a feeling of closure from the depths. You are seeking space for quiet, isolation and solitude. Maybe it is the post holiday slump, but you are finding yourself wanting refuge. There is a call to close doors and make peace, and Uranus will gift you handsomely for this. It isn’t always easy, but it is necessary.
Venus retrogrades in your 8th House and Mercury shifts to your 9th House. Venus has old lovers, partners and those you have been intimate with show up for you — or maybe your mind is just on those you have been connected with before. You seem to be making amends. Venus reminds you of your value and your worth as you have exited those old relationships and builds up new confidence for the current ones you have and the new ones you will forge. Mercury’s placement in Aquarius now also allows your mind to grow and move on. You are seeking different opportunities. If money has been tied up at all with courts, creditors or really with anything, expect to see that start to shift at the month’s end or at the start of February.
Use this New Moon to do some shadow work and confront your fears. Open yourself up to the changes in life without controlling outcomes. Focus on reconnecting with parts of yourself that you thought you had lost. Reclaim your power and call back your magick. Resilience goes a long way.

You are craving more balance right now. This is no secret. The New Year starts with a fresh lunar cycle that prompts you to seek harmony and find the peace in everyday life — especially in your relationships. Boundaries are more important than ever.
The New Moon falls in your 7th House. This is place of relationships and partnerships (romantic, platonic, business, etc). Here, we find ourselves in a space where we want and need to understand ourselves and others. There is a balance and a reciprocity here. Some of you may get engaged, married or take a relationship to a new level — commitment is the name of the game. Others may commit more to themselves and even walk away from more harmful or outdated relationships that stand in the way of personal success. Whatever it is, you seem to be making a strong pact — whether with you or someone you care about.
Uranus surprises you from the 11th House. It seems that you are in demand. People want to stay connected with you, talk to you, see you even. It feels like you are getting support from all over. Your networks are strong and you may have exciting news or surprises crop up around this New Moon. If you are single, Uranus could even bring an unexpected potential partner. If you are attached, do something spontaneous with them and try to get out and go on a little local adventure.
Venus is retrograde in the 7th House, so there are old hang-ups around relationships that do need to be confronted. Boundaries may be tested, issues with personal value may show up, but overall, this is a time for reviewing your place in the relationships you uphold. If you are feeling like you are not getting your share, now is the time to make those changes. Remember, this doesn’t have to be romantic — keep your eyes on all the other relationships you have, too. Mercury is now in your 8th House, having your mind dig deep to uncover any inhibitions or fears you may have around attachment or old patterns that need to be broken. Don’t be afraid to have those powerful conversations. The only way someone will truly know how you feel is if you actually let them know.
Use this New Moon to focus on your relationships, whether with yourself or others. Try to make connections that feel inspiring and exciting. Recommit to someone or something and restore a balance in your life. Re-engage with people from the past and rework a long term goal! You may have to be a little more patience than normal to see any of your intentions or actions develop from this lunation.

More than most signs, you may be more focused on your health, work or daily life walking into this New Year. This is no surprise, especially as we start the year with a new lunar cycle. This lunation is about long term goals and ways to commit to things that may impact your routines.
The New Moon in Capricorn highlights your 6th House of work, service, health, and everyday life. You could be looking to start a new routine, exercise regime, or even a new job. You may making changes to any of these areas of your life. Some of you may need to be more healthy, while others are finding new work routines and environments to start the year out right. You could also be welcoming a door closing in these areas, as well. The 6th house is about resolution, and it seems that is where you mind is at — even if you aren’t fully ready to commit to anything yet. You are better suited to make bigger commitments in February or March (after the Venus and Mercury retrogrades).
Uranus is VERY helpful at this lunation, working with the Sun and Moon from your 10th House of career. It isn’t so much that you may be changing your work environment, but also completing shifting your path in your career or life overall in some way. Uranus speaks to surprises in work front and with prestigious people. There are new opportunities unfolding, similar to a Fool’s leap into unknown territory. This frees up a lot of your personal time, and it restores a better sense of work/life balance (something you have been missing lately).
Venus has been retrograde in this area of your chart, so there is definitely a call to focus on what you value most in the work that you do. Venus will have your eyes on your health and how you care for you body in general, as well. This is a great time to focus on some more self-love and make amends with parts of you that you may have long tried to ignore. Venus eases up any rigidity, and it welcomes you to reimagine your routines. Mercury, now in your 7th House, spends some time helping this narrative through the idea of balance. Perhaps there are important relationships that need to be rectified or reconnected. Mercury has you more willing to share and create important dialogue.
Use this New Moon to make changes to your diet, exercise regime, and your routines. Maybe go back to a practice that you have not engaged with in a while. You could be reworking projects or paperwork at work, or simply rehashing old issues that arise — finally bringing things to close (projects as well). If you have had talks of a promotion or growth in your career, those will come back around now, too. Try not to control outcomes right now. Let it unfold and wait until the end of the month (or better in February) to make any major decisions— after Venus and Mercury are all in direct motion.

You start the year perhaps with a bit of creative flair or seeking to have a bit more fun than usual. The New Year brings a New Moon with it, where you are told that pleasure is important. Finding joy in the small things is more impertinent that it has been in a long time. This is just the start of some longterm projects, conceptions or ideas that you may have brewing.
The New Moon falls in your 5th House, which rules creativity, conception, happiness, and children. If you have been considering conceiving (an idea, a child, art, etc), then this New Moon will be for you. Even if children aren’t on the mind, I would consider that this is a good time to try new things. The 5th House is about joy, sport, fun and pleasure. Getting out and doing whatever it is that makes your heart sing. This is also an excellent New Moon to meet new people — romantically and otherwise. It sort of puts you center stage in a way that you haven’t been in a while. Are you willing to take up a little more space? Stand out more?
Uranus is very helpful at this lunation, in trine to the Sun and Moon (all in fellow Earth signs). This creates surprising circumstances — perhaps more you surprising yourself than anything else. Uranus is sitting in your 9th House, giving you some gusto on proving to yourself that you are worthy enough to take risks on. You know that you have some exciting opportunities that lie ahead, and it seems that part of that is giving yourself more credit and having more faith in the journey before you. The more you are willing to let go and leap, the better off you will be.
Venus is retrograde in your 5th house, where this New Moon will fall. Here, we see some questions come up around how you love yourself, how you show and receive love and how you are willing to give yourself space to shine a bit more. There are moments where you are asked to allow the self-doubt to subside but also get to the root of the relationship you have with yourself — perhaps making peace with any inner critic and self-deprecating dialogue. You know you have too much to offer to keep putting yourself down or allowing others to put you down either. Mercury, now in your 6th House, helps to keep your mind organized and willing to see the changes that lie ahead. You could be a bit more health-focused or diligent about the ongoing pandemic now, trying to maintain a better balance. Additionally, Mercury’s entrance into this area of your chart can make your work life a bit more busy and may have you caring for others — especially when it comes to health matters.
Use this New Moon to get back in touch with what you love. Focus on play, rest, and creating. Re-explore old hobbies and games. Make space for what makes you happy. Talk to your inner child and give love to the actual kids in your life, too. Remember that you keep the fire in your heart going. Even in the darkest moments, it can be a source of warmth and inspiration.

The start of the New Year has you a bit more nostalgic or focused on family. Maybe it is about gathering with those you love or just staying close to home. You are requiring a bit more rest or quiet, too. The New Year brings a New Moon, and there is also a call for new and personal traditions.
The New Moon in Capricorn turns your face toward your inner world, your emotional foundations, and your home/family. Especially as it sits in your 4th House, the area of roots. You may be looking to move, buy, sell, or rent. You could be redecorating or just making your house more of a home. Alternatively, you may be more active with family matters or looking to have a quiet entrance into the year after a busier holiday season. If you are doing anything home-related and the process is a bit slower, know that it will see a turn of events toward the end of the month as your ruler, Venus, stations direct motion.
Happily, Uranus trines the Sun and Moon at this New Moon, so there is a bit of excitement or unexpected news coming your way. You may receive a sum of money that is owed to you or a gift around this time that helps to create a better sense of security as you lay down new traditions or foundations. This is because Uranus is sitting in your 8th House. Keep in mind, if the money isn’t for you, it may be given to your partner — as this House also rules shared resources. Uranus is also seeking to bring you and someone closer together, and you may be surprised by the spontaneity that ensues as you open up a bit more emotionally. Know that this requires you to be real and honest with that person, however, and not just telling them what they want to hear.
Venus, your ruler, is retrograde in this 4th House. As I mentioned, some things may be under review or delayed around the home or with family. Perhaps you are reconnecting to old family members, having to go through mortgage approvals or even deal with financing for a remodel. Venus is holding money up, but know that it is on its way. Part of the process is making sure that you remain committed to whatever you are creating or building for your future. Mercury, now in Aquarius, sits in your 5th House. Your mind a bit more on the fun side to life and welcoming opportunities where you can create. There is a dreamy edge to this. Indulge a bit and allow yourself to wander — finding pleasure in the present. It will be a nice escape for you. If you are trying to conceive, kids will be top of mind — but February may be a better month.
Use this New Moon to focus on your home. Look for property. Put your home on the market. Move. Redecorate. Change your space. But with Venus’s influence, you may be going back to fix or change what you have already started. Family will figure strongly, as will your emotional foundations. Take care of your heart and spend time withdrawing. Answers come more clearly toward the end of the month.

Take time at the start of the year to be more intentional than you normally would be. This year begins with a New Moon that requires focus, diligence and stability since it falls in Capricorn. This is the start of a newer cycle but an end to an old one, as well.
This year has taught you so much — there is no question about that. As we enter this New Moon phase, you are now asked to apply what you have learned and find solutions to problems that have been pending. The New Moon falls in your 3rd House, highlighting communication, short distance travel, siblings, and your thoughts/ideas. Your words hold true power now. People are listening, but in all reality, you should be listening too. This is a time of gathering information and learning through your interactions with others. Consider that some of what comes up at this New Moon may be leftover conversations, ideas, and interactions from before.
Uranus trines this New Moon, luckily, from your 7th House. The most important conversations you will have will be one on one and with close relationships in your life. It no shock that any news you receive around this New Moon will be somewhat unexpected. You may find that a partnership, close friend or family member may surprise you (mostly in a good way) with what they say or tell you. This will spur you becoming closer to them. Uranus also asks for you to find new ways of communicating to those you love and being more spontaneous with other people. Old ideas or outdated mentalities need to be let go.
Venus will retrograde in the same house as this New Moon. Here, you will find yourself combing through past interactions you have had with others. You may be asked to repair relationships that are rocky and establish better foundations with ones that are important to you. You could be seeking or finding new sources of income around this New Moon, or even just making changes to your financial picture in general. There is a call to focus on where you find security in your life and reimagining it a little more. Your self-worth does come into play here, as you may need to be creative and flexible in learning to see yourself in a new light. When was the last time you truly had pride in what you do and talked yourself up? Take a moment to really see how much more stable you are now than you have been in the last few years.
Uranus is very helpful from your 6th House to this New Moon. It brings up exciting changes to your routine and your work life. If you get a promotion or a new job, maybe it comes with more flexibility or just different responsibilities that give you more room for growth and change. Uranus wants you to free yourself from old habits, regimens and mentalities around work that don’t serve you. Alternatively, some of you may have an “a-ha” moment around your health or boundaries too. If something has gone un diagnosed or accounted for in some way, Uranus will help you now. Be good to your body right now. It will thank you.
Venus will be retrograde in your 2nd House, where the New Moon will fall. This will have you dealing with impostor syndrome. You may be unable to see how you are valuable to your work or those around you. This does you a disservice, as your talents are needed. Some of you may end up reconnecting with old co-workers or jobs. Additionally, you could be combing through your resources, transactions and finances. Venus will have you less likely to spend and ask you to save more, as this time of year sees funds are more tight. Mercury will be sitting in your 3rd House at this lunation, as well. So, you could be signing a contract (pay attention to the financial part and read through it carefully) or really just looking to talk with people. Mercury’s placement in this area is giving you an extra edge in communication and dialogue that you may not have had otherwise.

The ask here is that you do what actually FEELS right. You can begin again and set yourself up for future success, but this may require a little introspection first, especially as Venus retrogrades in your sign. A New Year and a new phase of the Moon. We start this year with a fresh cycle where we start to consider that we deserve something different. The space where you allow yourself to grow is the one that takes flight, but part of this requires release and closing doors for you.
The transits as of late have you withdrawing a bit more than normal, especially as your 12th House is being activated. You are working through emotions, feelings, thoughts, and connections behind the scenes. Distilling is a word that comes to mind. This New Moon in Capricorn will bring this to the forefront more than it has been the last few weeks. You seem to be finishing up a project, putting a past issue to rest, and preparing yourself to move on to the next phase. But before you can fully move forward, you have to let something go.
Luckily, Uranus trines the Sun and Moon from your 4th House. It seems that part of letting go is dealing with the past or maybe even something that you used to use as a point of comfort. Not all things can stay forever, and Uranus teaches you the power of leaping into the unknown. You may not know the outcomes of the year ahead, but you understand that you can’t continue on as you have been. There will be changes to your family or home life or your personal foundations, and with that, there will be changes to everything else. As we close a door, many more will open for you. 2022 leaves room for so much possibility and growth, especially with Jupiter in your 2nd House and Saturn continuing through your sign.
Venus is retrograde in your 12th House, where the New Moon will fall. Part of this retrograde is to help you build a better relationship with your intuition and make peace with personal closure. Mercury in your sign, sitting in your 1st House, helps you find the strength and motivation to drive ahead. It has you mind on your desires and knowing that you are embracing autonomy in a new way.
Use this New Moon to work through what has been left unresolved. Tie up loose ends and focus on regaining your personal power. Creating Dialogue.
The Full Moon in Gemini falls at 27º on December 18th at 11:35 PM EST. This is the first major lunation in Gemini that has not been an eclipse since Summer 2020. A lot has come to the surface, and information has been shared, exchanged, and completely altered our perceptions. Gemini is about flexibility, adaptability, and integration. Here, we take the lessons we have learned from the last 18 months and act like the Magician to amalgamate them and turn them into something new. As if the experiential wisdom now informs our present reality. Where do we go from here? Gemini says that we have some processing to do.
With this being a Full Moon, there is a call to release. We must release blocks in our minds, limitations in our voice, and information or ideas that no longer serve us. Why be tethered to something when you can expand and float away into new probabilities? Gemini sees the “yes, and” and everything in-between. There’s no polarity, just grey area. When we let go of preconceived notions and release the expectations of others, we can actually listen to ourselves for the first time. We are begged to listen. So, what do you hear? The words ruminating inside are waiting to escape from your lips like ghosts in the night. You have not just sought truth, but found it. Now, it is time to build upon that truth.
The Sun and Moon both work well with Jupiter at this lunation. This collaboration points to positive outcomes and major moments of growth. Jupiter is helping to bring a fullness to the lessons of Gemini and Sagittarius–– to remind us that we are as much the teachers as we are the students. Perfection is ever-changing, and it shifts to fit our needs. So why define something so intangible? Jupiter asks that we stop creating confines, and start living in the realm of possibility. When you finally let go, you are truly liberated. Of course, this message comes through as well in the Mercury trine Uranus aspect around this Full Moon. Mercury may feel confined in Capricorn, but Uranus harmonizes with it and sets it free. Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, and this can lead to ingenious ideas and inspiring conversations! Fitting for a Gemini lunation. Let your mind run wild and start nurturing budding ideas.
Venus will still be in a close conjunction with Pluto, now slowing its pace, as it stations retrograde the next day. Venus will have time to reflect and revisit much of what was started after November 5th. So, even as you release from this Full Moon, more will be revealed. We will shed skin with Pluto and nurture wounds with Venus. Any negative self-talk will have to change.
Gemini has the ability to shift its way of thinking, and this aids us as we enter the Venus retrograde. To continue the theme of shedding, Mars will help us navigate the past in its conjunction to the South Node. We have fought to let go of so much, and we remained victorious in the end.
Yet, we have to recognize the work it took for us to get to this point and not discount the warrior-like nature that allowed us to win the battles. This was a hero’s journey, evidenced by the New Moon eclipse a few weeks ago. Now that this chapter closes, we can start to see life in a new way. Like the mutability of Gemini would hope, we integrate what we have learned.
We are putting down the sword and grabbing the pen. The fight is over. We rewrite our stories and create new futures to explore. It is a new beginning.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 23º to 29º, you will feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Especially those with strong Mutable placements. So, let’s break this down by sign!

Keyword: Integration
Sagittarius Season is starting to come to an end, as is 2021. However, this year wouldn’t be complete without the final lunation: The Full Moon in Gemini. The eclipse series of Gemini/Sagittarius may be over, but this Full Moon comes to bring things together — and for you this is about integrating everything you have learned up until this moment.
The Full Moon shines a light in your 3rd House, where we learn, adapt and integrate. This is the house of communication — a time to know that your voice holds value. Over the last few weeks, you have been seeking new horizons and now you can put what you have explored to the test. In this space, we share, talk and create dialogue. Your mind could be full of racing thoughts. Important conversations can be had and ideas can be exchanged. Generally with 3rd House transits, this is a busy time where people are trying to get ahold of you. Your phone and email will be going off and you seem to be on the minds of others. Alternatively, you could be extra chatty now, too, especially with Jupiter in a good angle to this lunation.
Jupiter does trine this Full Moon, bring friends and those in your network or circle around you. Jupiter is spending its final days in your 11th House, and now you can enjoy all of the growth you have made toward your future — continuing that even into the people you have met and those that support you. Your visions of what could be have been possible because of the people you have surrounded yourself with — and that can’t be underscored. You are likely going to be around close friends or at some sort of gathering around this lunation as Jupiter is in a celebratory mood.
Mercury leads this Full Moon where it works with Uranus, both in your work houses. Mercury may suggest that work isn’t really letting up right now, but there is some sort of important contract or project going on. It seems to be one that can really showcase your talents and you may even surprise people with your ideas or what you think now. Uranus in your 2nd House may even suggest a financial increase, bonus or even just a boost to your own self-worth as a result of the hard work you have been putting in. Venus and Pluto are also in your 10th House and Venus will be retrograde soon. So, you will be on important people’s minds for a while — perhaps getting more notice than you realize. Of course, with Venus about to station retrograde, any financial decisions can feel confusing or maybe not quite what you were expecting. Don’t be afraid to own your worth and get what you deserve if the opportunity arises. Watch your spending in the coming weeks, as Venus Retrograde may have us regretting our purchases later.
Use this Full Moon to find power in your voice.

Keyword: Resourcefulness
We may have started a new series of eclipses in your sign, but we have just ended the series in your resource centers of your chart. Now, we finish the year with a Full Moon lighting up your 2nd House. This is a time to take stock in what you own and what you have. Consider the ideas around security and how you personally feel secure.
With this lunation in your 2nd House, this rules finances, resources, valuation and worth. Some of you may be undergoing changes to your financial picture, even changes that you may not fully see yet. There could be increases to what you earn, new job opportunities or even ways to obtain additional resources that you had not seen as available. Alternatively, you could be thinking of walking away from a “stable” resource in favor for using your own talents or pursuing something entirely new. The last 18 months have taught you what you truly value in your work and in your life. So, this is about giving you space to take the next steps. Watch your spending now and find ways to save. If this Full Moon is not financially related, then pay attention to how you see yourself, what you believe in and what you stand for. You may tasked with releasing outdated mentalities around your ideas of tradition, security and worth. Your emotional resources are just as important as your financial.
With Jupiter in good aspect to this Full Moon, I do feel that you are getting proper recognition at work. Jupiter has been touring your 10th House for the last year, elevating your position and bringing your face out into the world in some way. People know who you are, even if you do not realize it. There has been a person in a more “powerful” position that has been trying to help you, too. It seems around this Full Moon that things may pay off. Jupiter brings a gift through your work that may increase or change your sense of security. If you work for yourself, you may bring on a new client or have a busier week than you anticipated.
Mercury leads this lunation, where it is sitting in your 9th House. Mercury is joining Venus and Pluto in this area, where growth is the way. It seems that you are tired of feeling stuck or stagnant and now you want to make changes. Uranus trines Mercury, giving you a rush of energy and lots of ideas around how to start the New Year off fresh. Uranus is in your sign, so some of the things you say, share or learn will surprise (you and others). Tell people what you are thinking. Your opinion matters more than you may realize.
Venus, your ruler, stations retrograde the day after this Full Moon. You may be combing through your morals and beliefs — learning to have more faith in yourself and possibly the universe (or something bigger than you). This is a time to go though what you have learned through experience and see how it is being applied. Ask yourself how you can take more risks in your life and reignite that sense of adventure. With Venus in your 9th House, there is a call to reaching beyond the horizons. Venus’s retrograde in this area can have you reconsidering decisions you have made and really have you trying to figure out what “risks” are worth the reward. If you want to go back to school and have been sitting on the idea for a while, you may come to a decision by the end of January.
Use this Full Moon to get a handle on your resources, material and otherwise. Figure out how to spend your energy — and on what. You are worthy.

Now that the eclipses have ended in your sign, the next few months will be telling about what you have learned and the changes you have undergone. There have been major shifts in your autonomy and identity — as well as your relationships and your boundaries. We end the year on a lunation that lights you up to see you stand more firmly on the ground you walk on.
The Full Moon is in your sign, where your 1st House is being illuminated. Now is a time to focus on your desires, motivations and wants. What are you passionate about? Where do you feel your most true? How can you embrace the new identity that has blossomed over the last year or so. Change is not always easy, even for an adaptable sign like you. So, give yourself space to grieve parts of you that you have let go but also remember to embrace the new you that stands here today. The Full Moon does ask that you see the value in all that you have done, a point of reflection. There may be further release, but you are more ready than you ever have been. There can be a sense of “finalizing” and “separating” that comes this lunation, as well.
Jupiter trines the Moon, reminding you of the growth and potential that lies ahead. Jupiter has been touring your 9th House and showing you that the only way out is up. You have challenged yourself to see things different and soar to new heights. Now at this lunation, Jupiter gifts you something personal. It shows you new path ways that clear up and opportunities that arise. It seems that all of the work wasn’t in vain. If you are going through a court case or anything legal, Jupiter will be helpful at this time — focusing on justice or fairness in the outcome.
Mercury, your ruler, leads this lunation. It sits in your 8th House, having your mind go through the resources that are outside of your own. This can deal with bonuses, commissions, partner’s money, divorce settlements, etc. However, this area of your chart is also about intimacy, shadow work and your own personal fear/inhibitions. Mercury reaches out to Uranus to help you break free of past habits that may have been more self-sabotaging. Instead, Uranus looks for liberation from what was. You are bringing closure to an important chapter in your life. Part of this seeks to make you more comfortable with the discomfort and find possibility in the uncertainty.
Venus retrogrades the day after this Full Moon in the 8th House, as well. So, anything that you have been trying to finish up that deals with financial obligations may be extended or pushed into review until the end of January. Don’t fret though. Venus will ensure that you have everything you need in the meantime. There is a call to recenter yourself a bit and try to break out of unnecessary patterns: see the Mercury/Uranus trine above. Venus RX is a good time to shift your priorities and re-evaluate what is important to you. Maybe other people’s opinions don’t hold as much truth as you once thought.
Use this New Moon to focus on what you want out of life.

A call to quiet. You are itching for peace and a slower pace now. You have been working so hard the last few weeks. A demanding schedule for you, or anyone, can be taxing. However, this Full Moon invites you to find more serenity in your life. Sometimes, peace is created, not found.
Your 12th House is being highlighted, a place of quiet and rest. You may feel a little run down or like you need some time away. Listen to your body. Because Full Moons signal release, you may be asked to close a door or let something go, as well. This isn’t always easy for you, but you know it will be better off if you do. This is also about service, but not always to another person. It can be to yourself, your body, your heart, mind, or soul. You need not always sacrifice to care for yourself. This Full Moon will highlight where you could use more balance, rest and realignment.
Jupiter is helpful at this Full Moon, working from your 8th House. There could be an unexpected or auspicious gift that comes your way. Jupiter has been helping you learn to redefine security while breaking bad habits that stand in your way. There is a feeling that growth comes from dealing with shadows that have been neglected. Seeing as this Full Moon is trine to Jupiter, there is much to celebrate. Use this as a reflection point of the last year for yourself, so that you can end the year feeling accomplished with how far you have come.
Mercury leads this lunation, where it sits in your 7th House. Those close in your life are taking more prominence now. You seem to be valuing with other people have to say and think. Mercury trines Uranus, bringing up exciting opportunities and new connections. Partnerships may be formed or strengthened as you are taking the time and energy to share and receive. Uranus brings about new ways of looking at those close relationships in your life and tell you that spontaneity is what is missing. Try to do new things and enjoy those around you. Seek out different those in your friend group and connect with people you admire or value.
Venus will retrograde after this Full Moon, where it will move back through your 7th House (where Mercury just entered). It seems that you may also be reevaluating how you approach some relationships in your life. Venus is asking you to see who adds value (emotionally, spiritually, mentally, etc) into your life. But also consider your boundaries. Venus RX in the 7th House is a time to figure out to maintain autonomy outside of those close relationships. We can honor the space where we share, but perhaps you need to value yourself as much as you do others. Not everything must maintain the status quo for the sake of harmony.
Use this Full Moon to really bring yourself in. Take time to reflect, rest, and create your own peace. Don’t let anyone or anything take that away from you. Focus on what you can receive and what you can release. This lunation is potent for you — finally closing a door, even if it isn’t easy. Some decisions aren’t to be made lightly, but you know in your heart what the outcomes will be. Take care of yourself.

The future can feel so far away, but we forget that it is unfolding even in this present moment. This is the last Full Moon of the year, and our focus starts to shift on what is coming up in the next year. However, there are still a few more weeks left of 2021, and some of them will be the most important for you. One thing to remember though, you are not alone in all that you have and all that you do.
This Full Moon comes to light up your 11th House and remind you of the people you have in your corner. You are really seeking some connection with those you consider to be your friends or even in your community. You may even be readjusting what your community is made of. You are in a period of growth, but it hasn’t been easy especially with Saturn opposing your sign. This House also rules your hopes and dreams. You may be changing and shifting your outlook on your future self — learning how to better seek support to make dreams a reality. You asking for help or leaning on others doesn’t make you weak. It is a reminder that you can be filled and nourished by others, as much you may nourish them.
Jupiter is in a trine to this lunation, where it is sitting in your 7th House. Important relationships come to focus and help you understand that you are not alone in the things you want to do, create and build. Jupiter can bring important relationships into our life, but this isn’t just romantic — it can also be in business and otherwise. Consider the relationships that you have allowed to grow this year and flourish. You can be seeing the benefit more than ever before.
Mercury leads this Full Moon, where it will be hanging out in your 6th House. It seems that you are signing contracts or working on new projects at work — possibly even taking on a new job, client or moving offices. Mercury signals a fast-paced timeframe, where things are changing quickly. This energy is added as Uranus trines Mercury from your 10th House. You are finally take leaps to bring major freedoms in your work/life balance. If you did take on a new job, it seems that you will likely be in the position faster than you anticipate. You may have to learn as you go. You could also just feel the pressure of the end of the year deadlines. Try to take it easy when you can.
Venus will retrograde in this same area of your chart. So, you could be spending some time over the next few weeks combing through old work or reevaluating your decisions. Some financial questions may arise, but also old relationships that you have formed from previous jobs can come up, too. Retrogrades always invite us to explore the past. This one is no different. In the exploration of what was, try to find more value in who you are and what you are. You have worth beyond the work that you produce.
Use this Full Moon to call upon your friends and community. Seek help and ask for it when you need it. People will show up for you. Don’t falter in the face of fear or allow anyone to undermine you. Take control of your future and go in the direction of your dreams. Focus on what really matters to you. You create the outcome.

Keyword: Satisfaction
You are one who isn’t afraid of hard work, but maybe there is a release around this notion. Why do we have to work so hard for the reward? Can things be easy and still satisfying for you? Consider that this last Full Moon of 2021 sits at the top of your chart and shines a light brilliantly on you. You are getting noticed in more ways than you know but also you may be seeing areas that need your attention, too.
The Full Moon falls in your 10th House. A position that sits at the top of your chart. The Moon will be beaming a light here, having you focus your attention on your career, life direction and practical goals. You know that you want to do something different in this area of your life. Is it a new job? A promotion? A complete 180º? Whatever it is, the eclipse will bring it to the forefront of your mind. Some of you may move up, while some may quit or lose a job. Others may feel a general pressure at work, and it can be the catalyst for something new coming later on. Now is time to see where you can lean into more work/life balance.
Jupiter is in a beautiful position to this lunation, where it will trine the Moon. Jupiter is sitting in your 6th House, growing work opportunities that come to you. The last year has seen immense change in the areas of health, work, routines and projects. This has been one of the busiest years for you yet. Now, you can sit back and reap some reward and take stock in how far you have come. Jupiter will bring in one last gift before shifting signs at the end of the month. You could take on a new client or change jobs. You could start a new health routine or even simply rework your schedule. Just remember to include some play time in there.
Mercury, your ruler, leads this Full Moon from your 5th House. Here is that conversation of joy, pleasure and playtime. Mercury will have your mind on wanting to enjoy this time of year and relax — even with a demanding schedule. Find what brings you pleasure and don’t be afraid to play hooky a little bit. Uranus trines Mercury suggesting that you could be invited somewhere or that you could come up with a very creative idea! If work in publishing, anything creative or education, this energy will benefit you most. Uranus is teaching you more about freedom and allowing you to release limitations that you have created. Remember that part of that is found through giving yourself time to enjoy the present.
Venus will retrograde the day after this Full Moon in the same area of your chart that Mercury is in. So, this will be a time to comb through your hobbies, creative ideas and sense of fulfillment. You may be reevaluating what happiness means to you. Perhaps pleasure needs to be a focus. New relationships, children and anything that pulls on your heart will also be in review at this time. You may need to rethink how you approach where you find comfort and how to welcome more fun in your life overall.
Use this Full Moon to build a bridge for yourself. Focus on your next steps and your direction in life. Allow yourself to shine at work regardless of what others may say. If a job isn’t a good fit, then start looking around for something else. Work with your roots and nourish your foundations. Get intimate with your partner and dismantle the tensions that may arise. Create boundaries with anyone that tries to overstep. This is a pivotal Full Moon for you. Really give yourself space to go after what you want.

Keyword: Trust
This is not a time to compromise what makes you feel alive. You have worked hard to give yourself more freedom. Now you are asked to rewrite the narratives you had once written in your head. The perception of what is possible may be limited by what you are seeing, and not fully enveloped in what you are believing.
This Full Moon will teach you the value of growth. But growth isn’t always simple. Your 9th House will be shining bright, and this turns your focus to finding new pathways and reaching goals. You may be seeking new adventures and itching to see what lies just beyond the horizon for you. In some ways, you know that change is coming. You can use this Full Moon to also bring your attention to the skills you have gained and the new ones you will, or plan to learn. This is about applying your wisdom. If you are looking to go back to school, this lunation could bring opportunity. If you are simply trying to just expand your horizons in life and branch out, there is space for that, too! Really, the sky is sort of the limit for you — but it requires trust in yourself first.
Jupiter is in a beautiful position to this lunation, where it will trine the Moon from your 5th House. Ideas around happiness, joy and pleasure come up. Where do you feel most happy? What does actually bring your pleasure? Jupiter is trying to expand that in your life and has been for the last year. You will be rewarded with something that you have been trying to make come to fruition. If you were considering conceiving anything (children, creative projects, art, a romance), then this could be a great start for you. You could alternatively even engage your own inner-child and reignite lost passions in your life. If you are looking to meet someone romantically, take time to socialize.
Mercury leads this Full Moon from your 4th House. There seems to be a flurry of activity happening in your area of home and family. But positively so, especially as Uranus trines Mercury from your 8th House. If you sold a home, you may receive the funds from that sale or some of you may be gifted an unexpected sum that is meant to help you with a purchase of a property or renovation. In addition, Mercury may also bring you closer to family (chosen or given) in general. Tis’ the season as they say, and it seems that you are seeking the comfort of those you love most.
Venus, your ruler, will retrograde the day after this Full Moon occurs. This brings even more attention to your 4th House, as Venus has been transiting this area. You could redecorate, make some changes around the house or even mend broken fences with family members. You could also be caught up in the process of reevaluating the value of something close to you — including emotional value. This is time to release fear or memories of the past that inhibit you in some way. Venus is asking that you embrace your emotional well being as a way to truly find more inner peace. Retrogrades dig up the old — so old people, relationships and family members may come around again.
Use this Full Moon to assess the big picture. Where could you use more adventure in your life? You could feel a push and pull to act immediately, give things some time to settle. You will see that you are on the brink of a new journey, one that allows you to take the lead. You can explore new perspectives, educate yourself and seek out more spontaneous experiences. Nothing is perfect, but you can enjoy every moment that is set out before you. No time is wasted when you truly are living.

You are in a space of introspection in a way, but this is not a problem for you. You seem to be transforming and looking to re-emerge in the coming weeks. But right now does not quite feel like the time. You are quiet and swimming through the waters of your own depth. What was once shadowed is now illuminated.
As the Moon reaches fullness, it will shine a light on your 8th House. This is an area of your chart that rarely sees the light of day. Here, the focus is on all you share intimately with others — your resources, your emotional nature, your fears, and your healing. There is a call to get deep and reflect on your path up until this point. The 8th House points to cycles. Your resources will be in question or come to mind — in a material sense and otherwise. You could receive unexpected sums of money, have larger debts to pay or even just start to reframe your financial picture. You are asked to share more deeply with those you trust and open up, especially when you find yourself in a place of fear and uncertainty.
Luckily, Jupiter is helpful to this lunation. It has been in a period of growth in your 4th House for the last year. It trines the Moon to remind you of the value of reflection and amending the past. Memories shift to points of growth and areas that you can finally release. It may be time to mend the broken fences that protect your home — metaphorically and literally. You are in a space of tending to your needs and your quiet contemplations. Jupiter can also bring get joy and happiness to family related matters and things around the home.
Mercury is the leader of this lunation, and it is now in your 3rd House. Here, Mercury teaches you the value of voice. Pluto and Venus both have been doing this for a while, but now that the planet of communication is here, it will easier. Things that are hard to say will no longer feel so hard. Uranus will trine Mercury from your 7th House. This is a time to have pivotal conversations with someone you are close to. Relationships seem to surprise you in a positive way and could add more spontaneity in your life! Find time to be open and talk about anything that comes to mind!
Venus will retrograde the day after this Full Moon. This will also happen in your 3rd House. So you may lack some confidence in saying what needs to be said or perhaps there is a clinging to old ideas that need to be released. Venus will have your mind going through what you value and where you find worth — dialogue will end up being one of those things. You are in a space where you are asked to integrate all that you have learned in the last year or so, and the Venus RX period will make sure you choose the most important bits of information. During the 6 weeks when Venus does retrograde, pick your words wisely and opt to really listen to what others are saying. You may be surprised by what you hear and learn.
Use this Full Moon to break bad habits. Shine a light on the shadows in your life and face your fears. Open up about things more intimately with people you trust and allow others to support you more deeply. Reframe your financial picture and focus on ways to alleviate a scarcity mindset. Even as the material resources may ebb and flow, there will be plenty of opportunity for a fresh start. Reclaim your power. This is only the beginning.

Now that the eclipses have ended in your sign, the next few months will be telling about what you have learned and the changes you have undergone. There have been major shifts in your autonomy and identity — as well as your relationships and your boundaries. We end the year on a lunation that lights up your relationships and the others in your life. This is aptly timed since we just had a New Moon in your sign a few weeks prior.
Life is about a give and take, oftentimes we may give more than we receive. This can create an imbalance, whether or not you realize it. So, take a minute and really reflect on the word “receptivity”. What does this mean to you? The Full Moon on the 18th brings awareness and light to your 7th House. Here, a partnership, relationship, union or important person is coming into strong focus. Now consider for some of you this is more business related than personally related. You may be reckoning your boundaries and your space with this other person or entity. Have you been giving too much? Are things off kilter? What needs to be addressed? This Full Moon puts so much emphasis on others that you may need to step outside of yourself to see what is really happening. Perspective is going to be important.
Now Jupiter, your ruler, is very friendly to this Full Moon. It is sitting in your 3rd House helping you find the words you need to reckon any issues that may arise in relationships. Jupiter has kept you busy this year, and right now is no different. You seem to be in demand with people constantly trying to get ahold of you. Jupiter is looking to gift you something for all of your hard work in the last year. Dialogue is a point of growth and you could truly see the value in speak your mind in ways that you have not in a long time. You are well-received and this especially benefits your partnerships and relationships. You may even be signing a contract around this Full Moon.
Mercury is the leader of this lunation and sits in your 2nd House. Mercury will be bringing up conversations around money and security — perhaps how your talent comes into play with those things. Mercury will touch on Uranus in your 6th House suggesting that a bonus, raise or monetary increase is likely based on your work performance or a client that you have. Uranus has been shaking up your 6th House for bit, helping you find more freedom in your daily life and routines. With its helpful angle to Mercury, this leaves you more space to explore talents or skills you haven’t fully developed.
Venus will retrograde in your 2nd House the day after this Full Moon. So although Mercury will have your mind here and can see you gaining traction, Venus will keep you in a space of reflection. You could be dealing with questions around security, worth, scarcity and value. Maybe you aren’t given yourself enough credit? Maybe you aren’t asking for your true worth? Knowing your limits can be important. Over the last few weeks and even 18 months, you have been tasked with closing doors, learning to be better to your body, and focusing on the things in your immediate environment. The eclipses in Gemini/Sagittarius have taught you the value of your needs and knowing the difference between service/sacrifice. We can’t save everyone, or really anyone, other than ourselves.
The Full Moon will be bright in your 6th House, where your health, daily routines and even work will come into play. You are being faced with ways to reschedule your life and create better rituals and regimens. If you have been dealing with health issues, this is not a time to sweep that under the rug. You will have to face the facts and get the answers you need. Some of you could be trying to get healthier or just find the balance between work and life. You will be busier than normal around this eclipse, so care for yourself. If people try to overstep your boundaries, you have the power to let them know. Your workplace will likely be going through changes — try not to internalize them or bite off more than you can chew around it. If you work for yourself, consider how much you can realistically take on right now.
Luckily, Jupiter is very helpful at this lunation. It sits in your 2nd House where it will trine the Moon in your 6th. Even if your financial situation has been a bit all over the place, Jupiter has been teaching you the value of security and how it can be created no matter your situation. However, I do really feel that if you receive anything financial around this Full Moon it will be tied to your work directly — since the Moon is in your 6th House.

Sort of like a-ha moments. This is emphasized by the trine that it makes to Uranus in your 5th House. There is something to be said about allowing yourself more freedom to enjoy life in the moment. Uranus is teaching you the power of joy. Lean into it.
Venus will retrograde the day after this Full Moon. It will be doing so in your sign and in your 1st house. You will be combing through and reflecting on who you are and what you stand for. It seems that Venus wants you to reckon with the narratives you have once written and change how you see yourself completely. It is time to be kinder to yourself — softer with your needs. You have to nurture your potential and not remain stagnant. Venus wants you to keep your heart close and allow that to be what guides and drives you forward. Sometimes, we have to feel our way through things. Old issues from the past will arise over the next 6 weeks — especially ones related to money and relationships. These can not be ignored.
Use this Full Moon to focus on your health and body. Take control of the details and mind the little things. Create better boundaries with work and cultivate a work/life balance. Seek a job change or shift in responsibilities if you are not happy with what you are doing. Find new clients if you work for yourself and implement a better way to be of service to your needs first.
