The Lunar Eclipse in Virgo 12º falls on March 3rd at 6:38 AM ET.
The Full Moon in Virgo is focused on order, diligence, and efficiency. The Pisces/Virgo axis is being highlighted—this is the connection point between body and spirit. Virgo asks you to integrate the Piscean intuition in a more practical and mundane way. Because Full Moons can signal release, here we see release is in the form of anything physically or mentally in our way.
What sets this Full Moon apart is that it is an eclipse — a Lunar Eclipse. This eclipse continues the themes we have been working through in the last year. Here, we are tasked with surrendering, which is different from sacrificing. In surrender, we find peace — knowing that it isn’t about giving up but allowing things to fall where they may. With eclipse energy, it is important to not control, but instead remain open. Eclipses are potent portals, conduits and changemakers. In many ways, we have to allow them to illuminate what we may be missing.
Mercury is the leader of this eclipse and has recently started its retrograde days before this lunation. It is, in essence, backtracking. Over the next few weeks, we will be reassessing much of our decisions and ideas. Mercury has just aligned with Venus and will connect with the Sun soon. We are reconnecting ourselves with our values and sense of worth — do our ideas match our beliefs?
Jupiter is in a very close harmonious angle to the Moon and the Sun. This energy asks that we embody a more expansive quality. As Jupiter navigates the nurturing waters of Cancer, we are in search of deeper growth. Jupiter wants to show us what abundance means. However, this isn’t about manifest destiny or prosperity goals — this is about community and connection. Jupiter in Cancer teaches us to feed, to care, to have empahy. With the Moon and Sun encapsulated in its ocean, this reinforces the connection between body and spirit and teaches us the power in the liminal. It welcomes us to get comfortable with our intuition and to be less rigid. We are learning that in order to feel truly expansive, we have to share and be generous in our mind, body, spirit, and heart.
Luckily, Uranus plays well with Venus, creating moments of spontaneity. Uranus is the planet of surprise, enlightenment, and innovation. In the process of moving forward, we may have to think outside the box. It is likely that you will receive or hear some news that could initally jolt you, but may end up being just what you needed. Expect the unexpected and move with the whimsy of this energy. Uranus seeks to liberate. So in the process of rewriting our stories, values, and structures, we must first be willing to free ourselves from no longer works.
This eclipse may be very illuminating to some. This is the tangibility of the dreams that Pisces Season creates. However, Virgo can also shatter the illusion that Pisces maintains. Find a middle ground between these two points. Allow the changes from this eclipse to fuel you into new territory. This Full Moon is the final in the astrological year.

It is time to rely on those you trust intimately. This eclipse is very healing for you and can bring you close to a partner or friend. Now is a time to share your resources, your fears, your desires, and your motivations. Your 8th House is being activated, so nothing is off-limits.
Who do you trust enough to let in? How can you make room to have that intimate reciprocity in your relationships? The 8th House is one that rarely sees light, but when we have the Sun or a Full Moon in this area, it asks for us to see what’s been hidden. You can make great strides in healing matters, releasing old wounds or past pains, or even exploring your own sexuality and what brings you true pleasure. This is a very sensitive area of your chart, so you may need to navigate it delicately. In thinking about a close relationship, you have to trust that things are going your way and let go of any control you may feel. The deep connections you make with others are profound and genuinely healing. This area of your chart also rules money outside of income. Perhaps your partner is taking on a new job that boosts your spending/earning potential overall in the relationship. Or maybe, you receive some sort of loan or assistance. You could possibly even pay down a debt that has been looming over you.
Jupiter is a supportive player at this Full Moon, as it moves through Cancer. Jupiter has been in your 6th House since last June and is now making a turn for the better. Its activation at this eclipse supercharges it, and it is ready to help you in terms of your health, work, and your routines. If something has come up in regard to your health, you will see a good shift of events or a successful procedure. The Moon will support Jupiter, ensuring a double-dose of auspiciousness. It actually feels like you may need to be in recovery mode a bit, and these two will give you just that. There is something about being valued for you input now. You could see the time and devotion you have put into a project is being recognized. Your reputation is a bit more at a high, and you could even see a shift in how you are perceived by others. The focus on “me” vs “we” has been very prevalent over the last year. Autonomy is important, but so are the relationships you cultivate. You can do a lot on your own, but sometimes you need to be reminded that you don’t have to. There are close relationships that want to help you and support you.
This lunation is in your 7th House, and it is time to take a look at the “others” in your life and figure out what role they play. This eclipse will fall in your opposite sign turning your attention to close one-on-one relationships. What is the dynamic? How are you both contributing? This isn’t limited to romantic partners.
