Aquarius New Moon Miniscopes

Aquarius New
Moon Miniscopes

A New Start.

The New Moon in 1º Aquarius is on January 21st at 3:53 PM ET. This is the first New Moon of the calendar year, and it comes with its share of ups and downs. With Aquarian energy so prominent at this New Moon, we will have our eyes fixated on our hopes, dreams, and wishes — perhaps even our network, community, and friendships. We have to recognize where we are and who we surround ourselves with and see how that impacts the big picture (not only in our lives personally, but also collectively). Aquarius brings truth—unmoved and undeterred—in the pursuit of understanding where we belong in the grand scheme of it all.

Saturn traditionally leads this New Moon, arm-in-arm with Venus. This dance can create a bit of heaviness at this lunation, and Saturn will ask for a commitment. Venus does soften the energy of Saturn, strengthening and evolving our sense of value and worth. With Fixed Air being the central focus, we must find ways to free ourselves from outdated or overly traditional mindsets. If it doesn’t benefit the group or uplift others, it will not be supported.

Pluto is a key player during this time. The Sun and Moon are slowly escaping from the confines of Pluto’s hold. We seek to liberate ourselves from what no longer brings us joy, unchaining ourselves from societal fears. Pluto is deep and profound, creating a need to confront our shadow selves. Embrace your sense of uniqueness and use that as a platform to buck the traditions. By owning your fears and living honestly when others tell you that you can’t, you call back your power. No one has control over you.

Jupiter does aid this lunation, adding some levity to this New Moon. Here, we see that we have an outlet for the heavy energy Saturn and Pluto can bring. Jupiter expands the Sun, as it still sits in fresh Aries. Action meets enthusiasm, and pleasure brings positive returns. Collectively, this energy suggests that support is important, especially in a time of uncertainty and change. The next few weeks will bring about the movement that we feel we have been lacking in the last few months.

Get ready to soar.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 0º to 5º or 26º to 29º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Fixed placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

11th House | Connection

At this New Moon, the big questions are: where do you find hope? Who is there to support you? You are someone who may often try to do things all on your own. But at what cost? As we enter this New Moon, your hopes, dreams, wishes, network, and support system all come into focus — as this New Moon falls in your 11th House. Who do you call upon in your time of need? We can’t be the stabilizing factor for others all the time. Sometimes, we need people to rally around us too. Luckily, this New Moon ensures that you have that. Friends are showing up for you, and a dream seems to be within reach. Yet, there is an air of uncertainty.

Saturn will lead this New Moon, where it will embrace Venus in a tight conjunction. This energy is one where we must blend pleasure with responsibility — trying to find equilibrium. For the last 3 years or so, the Venus/Saturn conjunctions have been happening in Aquarius, and after this one, this cycle will end. Consider the changes you have made to your community in the last few years and how your dreams or idea of your future has been restructured. This Venus and Saturn conjunction will create a long-term impact on what you hope to bring to the world in the coming years.

Jupiter will be joyfully reaching out to the New Moon, which eases the energy of this lunation. There is an expansiveness in the air, especially as Jupiter transits your sign! With Mars and Mercury now direct, doors are opening and new pathways become clear. It seems that you are slowly becoming more ready to enter 2023 — and with that will come some gusto! Make this the New Moon that you set intentions with and see how beautifully your ideas will grow.

Use this New Moon to open yourself to possibility. It is time to ask for help and see that the future is co-created. It requires that you have the will to seek support. Everything is in flux, but the outcome will present itself soon. Things may come and go in life, but focus on the people that remain constant.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

10th House | Purpose

What is the pinnacle for you? The Aquarius New Moon usually turns your focus toward your outward life, publicity, and career. This also encompasses your direction and achievements. The last 12 months have had you working hard and making decisions that impacted your future — and now it seems that you are either beginning or about to begin a new phase. This New Moon falls in your 10th House that rules all of these things: career, direction and publicity. You may not realize it, but you are in a position of power right now. The ball is seemingly in your court. You could be going for a promotion, looking to switch careers, move, or even change what you do for work. Whatever it is, how you build foundation and security in the world is in focus.

There is a bit of heaviness initially with this New Moon as Saturn, the leader of this lunation, and Venus meet. However, Venus is good about easing Saturn. Instead, it almost seems as if Venus asks for you to look at what value and achievements you have brought to the work you have done — possibly even out to the world. There is a sense that it is time to shift a bit the focus you’ve had in the last three years and embrace a new sensibility. Venus wants to ensure that you are steeping yourself in your successes. The decisions you make in regard to your career, work, or outward image will have long-term outcomes. Some of you may get some sort of notoriety or recognition at this time — almost like an accumulation of all that you’ve accomplished in the last few years.

Jupiter’s influence at this lunation is nice and provides a sense of growth. I have been considering this the unofficial start of 2023. Jupiter’s transit through your 12th House brings about a feeling of completion — almost as if you are ready to just let go and welcome new expansive ideas. There is also a deepening happening with your intuitive self. It is through your intuition that you inform your action or motives. Now that Mercury and Mars are both direct, you will see how “unstuck” you will be.

Use this New Moon to start a new journey in your life direction or career. Go for a promotion, a new job, or even a career change. Put yourself up on a pedestal more and see your worth and value as it is in the light of day. Work on your long-term goals and start making moves to bring them to fruition. You have a lot of power in your hands right now. How are you going to use it?

Gemini & Gemini Rising

 9th House | Faith

Faith — a word that you must work with more. You must learn the power of having faith in yourself and taking a leap toward your goals and dreams. The Aquarius New Moon brings the energy to nurture areas of growth in your life. There is a sense that your paths to growth, evolution, change, expansion and new territory are opening up. This can happen through education, spirituality, work, or even just your personal next steps. You have been sitting with “where do I go from here” for quite some time. This is your chance to make moves. Of course, that requires that keyword: Faith.

Perhaps you have been overthinking things lately or just not focusing – thus scattering your energy into too many things. The New Moon comes with a Venus/Saturn conjunction. Almost as if the anxieties we have felt, start to melt away a bit. Venus brings a soothing balm to Saturn, showing you how important it is to open yourself up to new aspirations, goals, and ways of learning. You could slowly see the world in a new light, as this will be the final Venus/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius for quite some time. You can make long-term goals, be intentional about your steps/processes, and even find space for a bit more adventure in your routine. Travel opportunities will be good for you, and maybe it is best to prioritize what inspires you! If you have been feeling uninspired lately, listen to Venus and get back in touch with your creative side.

Jupiter is playfully sextile the New Moon. There is a bit of whimsy and joy in leaning into community and support. Friends are a point of expansion for you. You could network and meet valuable people in the coming weeks, and you could also really move beyond the limits you’ve had around your idea of your future. Let Jupiter guide you into a place of possibility. If you feel you need it, ask for help. Jupiter will ensure that people will show up for you in droves! Mars is no longer retrograde in your sign, and your ruler, Mercury, is also direct. Time to take control of your dreams.

Use this New Moon to truly believe in yourself, opening up the floodgates of potential. Take time, and see the sky’s the limit. You have to learn that some risks are worth the reward. You are itching to travel, go to new places, meet new people, or simply engage in new experiences overall. You are seeking a fresh start, and this New Moon can give it to you. What are you waiting for?

Cancer & cancer Rising

8th House | Intimacy

It is time to get intimate. You have to face the shadow eventually, and right now, you are asked to see what has been hidden from view or deal with what has been left unchecked. The New Moon sits in your 8th House. This is a time of transformation, change, and evolution – but also a time of healing and sharing the deepest parts of yourself with someone else. There is a level of fear that can be associated with this, understandably. You are very close-lipped about your emotional nature. But sometimes, stability requires sharing what lies beneath the foundation. Questions around worth, shared resources, sexuality, close partnerships, and money could come up now.

Venus and Saturn are joining forces in your 8th House, bringing some financial alleviation or breakthrough for you. Saturn has been instilling wisdom around debts and how to truly be open and intimate. Now, with Venus and Saturn meeting one last time in Aquarius, it feels like a beautiful send-off. Really witness how far you have come around being on top of your resources and those you share with others. See how you have found space to deepen the bonds that matter. Understand the transformations you have had in the last 3 years and find the value in your evolutions. In so many ways, you are a new person. It has not always been easy, but you can celebrate where you are today. If you have financial and emotional goals for the year ahead, use this time for setting them!

Jupiter gifts this New Moon a new perspective, especially as it sits in your 10th House. Jupiter will bring you a dash of luck in your publicity, career, and long-term goals as it transits this area until May 16th. Consider what you desire most out of life, and then go for it! Jupiter’s influence on this New Moon may even suggest a bonus or some sort of better work/life balance moment coming to play. Collaborations you take on can be expansive. In many ways, you are sitting in your power and being seen for the contributions you make. So, don’t be afraid to share.

Use this New Moon to start a new cycle for yourself and embrace your shadows. Commune with your inner world and transmute grief into strength. Find new ways of investing or saving financially, but also investing in yourself. Work on getting more intimate with your needs — find the hidden power that lies within you. Form deeper bonds with those you trust.

LEO TO SCORPIO

Leo & Leo Rising

7th House | Relation

The tone shifts from the Full Moon to the New Moon, where we focus on the “we.” Especially as your 7th House is coming into play under the energy of this New Moon. Over the last year, you have been dealing with Saturn going through your 7th House, restructuring your relations with others. This impacts how you engage in the world around you — and most importantly your one-on-one relationships. So this New Moon brings an opportunity to make changes on the partnership front. This could look like anything, but the main factor here is that you have a choice. You can take things to the next level or choose to walk away. Some of you may be very happy in your relationship and seek to settle more into it. Others see that they may need to have conversations about reciprocity. Equality and level-setting seem to be coming up as well. This could be outside of romantic relationships – seeping into other personal or professional unions you have (friends, family, work).

With Venus in a tight conjunction with Saturn, the tensions you may have been feeling relationally will shift. There is an ease or a willingness for change now. Venus softens Saturn, suggesting that a close relationship is supportive. Some of you may sign a contract or decide to commit further to someone or something. This energy really promotes long-term decisions. With Venus and Saturn having one last conjunction in Aquarius, this can also feel like a bit of a grand finale for you. Perhaps a sense of overdue closure with a relationship or a definitive decision. Don’t second-guess yourself now.

Jupiter will influence this New Moon in a magical way. It will sit in a sextile, a flowing harmonious angle. This can bring a need to explore, adventure, and reach beyond limitations that have been set for quite some time. As it transits your 9th House, you may see yourself traveling more, taking on a new skill, being more spontaneous, and/or starting a whole new chapter. Let this New Moon be the start of a new year for you. There is no time to make yourself small. Instead, it would be wise to open yourself up to possibility. Sit in the space of “I can”.

Use this New Moon to start something new with other people in your life. Enact boundaries and keep them. Stand up for yourself. Form new relationships and alliances. Seek counsel and re-evaluate people who have been disrespecting your energy. Strengthen the partnerships that truly matter. Some of you may even decide to take your romantic relationship to the next level. Whatever you do, know that you will likely surprise those around you.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

6th House | Service

This New Moon is a call to connect with yourself, your body, and the world around you. You are asked to get organized. Sometimes, order can help you focus, and this energy is with you to get down to business. You can make turning points in your health and work while creating new routines and rituals that fit your needs now. If you need medical care, this New Moon will highlight that. You should schedule routine visits and simply do what you can to honor your body overall. If you are looking for freelance work, a new job, or even just a lateral move, this New Moon can help you too.

With Venus and Saturn joining hands one last time in Aquarius, this suggests a deeper commitment to yourself, your body, and possibly your work. Some of you may be bringing a project to a close, but a new long-term client or contract may arise! Additionally, any decisions that impact your daily routines, work, or health will also have longevity. There is a sense that you are ready to integrate the lessons and wisdom you have obtained in the last few years. Any heaviness you have felt with health or work will start to alleviate in March. For now, let this be a call to celebrate your progress and continue to find that balance in pleasure, play, and responsibility. For my freelancers or gig-workers, this can turn a new leaf in the types of projects you decide to take on!

This New Moon comes with a sextile to Jupiter. It is expansive and exciting as it sits in your 8th House, helping you release blocks around fears. There is a sense that you can invite more opportunities for investment into your life. Jupiter in the 8th can be a good time financially. Allow this to be a time to get a hold of your debts or investments (materially, emotionally, and spiritually). If you take on a new client or job, it may come with a sign-on bonus or some additional benefits. If you have been wanting to expand the work you do, this could be helpful as well. For those of you looking to get more serious with a relationship or do deeper, internal explorations, Jupiter will allow you space to do so!

Use this New Moon to find new routines and regimens that work for you. Create daily practices that you can keep while maintaining your love of variety. Try new workouts and adhere to a healthier diet. You may be asked to let go of a bad habit or improve something in your life. Watch how much you take on and make time for rest and self-care. Take care of your body, and your needs, and know it is ok to nourish yourself too.

Libra & Libra Rising

5th House | Risk

New Moons are a time of new beginnings. This one comes in to remind you of your happiness, joy, and pleasure. It falls in your 5th House of creativity, conception, love, and children. You are asked to have the courage to be yourself and find ways to do things that set your heart on fire. This fiery area of your chart activates pleasure-seeking and learning to embrace our sense of expression. The Moon brings about ways for you to take center stage.

Your ruler, Venus, will embrace this lunation’s leader, Saturn. Venus and Saturn are cosmic partners, bringing a sense of balance to one another. Where you may have felt restrained from what brings you joy and had to struggle to connect to your creativity and happiness, this will change. Venus is softening the edges of Saturn and meets with it one last time in Aquarius. This welcomes deeper commitments to your sense of expression, joy, pleasure, and your child self. Allow this to be a time of celebration for you and realigning the scales in your life that have felt out of whack. Venus wants to see you be playful and fun, so lean into this! Try to release the need to take on more responsibility at the expense of your happiness. You deserve to let loose! Once Saturn leaves this area of your chart in March, you will see a lightening of energy.

To compound some of this easier energy, Jupiter will be a companion to this New Moon. It sextiles the lunation from your 7th House! Over the next few months, your relationships with others will be where you grow most! Some of you will see so much excitement and adventure with those close to you. Others may witness expansion in their professional lives and relationships. Jupiter’s trip through your opposite sign is quite auspicious and allows you to fully realize the golden opportunities in your life. With Mars and Mercury now direct, let this be a chance to start a whole new chapter for yourself, especially in terms of what you want. You have the support to go after what makes you feel alive!

Use this New Moon to let loose and have a bit of fun! Work on finding your strengths and using them to your advantage. Follow your heart and your creativity — let it all flow. Get in touch with your inner child and open yourself up to new experiences. Most importantly, take time to stand out and shine radiantly! You deserve to be happy as much as anyone else does. It doesn’t make you selfish. It just makes you human. Have pride in who you are.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

4th House | Foundation

This New Moon falls in a Fixed sign like yours, so the energy will feel more potent for you. With a Fixed New Moon, what we find can last for a long time. With it in Aquarius, it impacts areas of your life that need attention. This would be your 4th House of home, family, foundation, and roots. You may find that you are having to face familial matters you have been avoiding. Alternatively, you could be doing work around the home: buying, selling, moving, and redecorating. Whatever it is, it seems that you are sitting at the center of this space.

Long waiting decisions in regard to your home can start to move forward. Venus and Saturn join hands in this same area of your chart. They have been meeting here for the last three years, and this will mark the final meeting for almost 3 decades. You can start to seek some closure with family, home, your emotional foundations. For some, you may reconcile a pending familial issue, while others may deepen their ancestral practice. If you own a property, you could make some important cosmetic changes. If you are looking for a home, you may find a place you hope to spend a while in. Venus will soften Saturn in a nice way, so commitments we make feel less like obligations and more like safety nets.

Jupiter will be quite helpful at this New Moon. For those you focused on your body or health or recovery, Jupiter will ensure it comes. It may require a bit more rest than normal, but it will be beneficial for the long run. For those of you looking to make changes to your work, Jupiter’s transit until May 16th will make that possible for you! You could grow your projects, clients, or work-related matters. If you have been wanting to start a new regimen or routine, Jupiter can help you too! Anything that promotes a “healthier” lifestyle will be rewarded now.

Use this New Moon to focus on your home and family life. Redecorate, renovate, or move. Try resolving past issues with family that may be residual or seek to create better boundaries with them. Take time away to rest and reflect on this lunation. Lean into your nostalgia a bit and make peace with the past. Open yourself up to ancestral guidance, learn more about your lineage and connect with those you love — living or deceased. Know that you create the security and safety you seek.

SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

3rd House | Understanding

It’s that time again! The New Moon is here! This one falls in Aquarius, sitting in your 3rd House. The 3rd House rules communication, connection, understanding, local community, siblings, and writing. This is the area of our chart where we tell people who we are and where we process information. This New Moon will have you with no shortage of ideas or things to say — but you may be feeling caught in analysis paralysis. Perhaps you have been overthinking things lately or just not focusing, thus scattering your energy into too many things.

Saturn and Venus will meet in your 3rd House, as well. Saturn has been touring this area of your chart for the last three years or so. Now, you can start to see some ease coming. Where you may have felt limited or stuck, Venus will come in to soften this. You may sign a long-term contract, make a verbal commitment, or just find space in your busy life to slow down. Venus wants you to enjoy! So try not to remain so serious. There is a call to reach out to friends and neighbors, really getting out more in the local community. You could have a world of support around you if you look for it! Additionally, this Venus and Saturn conjunction can bring about an outcome or resolution that has felt pending for a few years. Maybe it is time to settle into your area or location a bit more.

Jupiter will be very beneficial to this lunation. It sits in your 5th House, inspiring more creativity and fun! If you are someone who works in a creative field or is an artist of some sort, this transit will benefit you the most! Even if you aren’t, allow this time to be a space where you just seek out experiences that are pleasurable. If you are hoping to have a child or do have kids, Jupiter in Aries will be quite auspicious for you. We learn a lot through children — like being spontaneous and taking some risks in life. Now that Mars and Mercury are also direct, allow this New Moon to act like a fresh start for you.

Use this New Moon to really lean into using your voice. Listen to what others have to say— but also share what you need or think. Start a new project or reach out to those around you. Connect with friends and siblings. Write down all of your ideas and seek adventure close to home. Be flexible, use what you know and adapt to the situations that are around you.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

2nd House | Worth

This time of year can have your mind on finances. The Aquarius New Moon always brings up questions around money, value, and worth. This is because the Moon goes through your 2nd House of income, self-worth, and material possessions. Actually, it seems that you could have the potential to make changes to how you earn money. You could be looking to bring in more or simply change your relationship with money. You may also have higher expenditures than normal. So, pay attention to your financial picture. Alternatively, you could be making changes to your self-confidence and what you stand for or believe in. The last few years have seen you grow, evolving into a new person. Thus, you are making shifts in what you choose to find value in. What would you consider to be a tradition for you? What gives you a sense of worth? Don’t allow this to be tied to other people.

Venus and Saturn meet in this resource area of your chart, bringing in some positive news. All of the wisdom you have gained here starts to come together. Things seem like they are paying off more. Venus will ease Saturn and perhaps present a long-term contract or financial opportunity. For some, that may even look like an expenditure being lower than anticipated. If you were hoping for a raise or promotion, this energy can help. Additionally, this is all about using talents that are available to you. Just because it is easy, doesn’t mean it is bad. If anything, it is more valuable because you don’t have to work so hard! Make commitments to value yourself more in the coming years.

Jupiter will be quite helpful from your 4th House. Home-related matters are the most expansive for you in the next 6 months or so. You could be deciding on changes you want to make to your property or living situation. If so, it will be quite beneficial! Additionally, family-related matters also seem to be a bit easier, as well. It could look like you growing your family or even being more boundaried with them. You could also be really focusing on the traditions you want to carry or create personally. It is time to make your home feel more like a sanctuary for you.

Use this New Moon to open doors to new resources and focus on what you have and what you can gain. You may have to let go to receive. Seek alternative sources of income or money. Look to new pathways of earning. Confront your feeling of being unworthy. Hold yourself in high regard and own your value. Your talents bring you everything you want. You own, create, and hold all of the potential in your own hands.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

1st House | Independence

It is your time, dear Aquarius! Don’t let anyone dim your light. This New Moon is a call to come home back to yourself, finding clarity in your identity, and what you actually want in life. It falls in your 1st House of self. You are carving out a new space for you to be more…you. This is important, as you have been working hard the last year to figure out what you actually want. Saturn has been in your sign making it difficult to get ahead without effort or hard work. It co-rules this lunation now, so it asks you to put what you’ve learned to the test! It isn’t just that you have gained new insight, but what you actually do with it.

Venus and Saturn will meet in your sign, asking for a deepening commitment to self. Your relationship with yourself is of the utmost importance now. This transit promotes allowing yourself to ease up more, too. Venus and Saturn have been meeting in your sign for the last three years. Now, it will end this cycle for about 3 decades. This means that closure around pending feelings of worthiness is around the corner. You can update your look, feel more attractive in your skin, and offer yourself fewer burdens. You don’t need to feel so responsible all the time. Instead, you can let yourself sit in pleasurable moments. You have worked so hard. Celebrate how far you have come.

Jupiter will reach out to this New Moon in your 3rd House. You are likely traveling domestically or getting more involved in the local community. It seems that you want to share more and chat. People are taking interest in what you have to say, and they are listening to you. Share! Speak up! You will find the right words. If you have been looking for chances or reasons to get out, then do so! You may receive a golden invitation or network with the right people. Jupiter will be lighting up your 3rd House for the next few months, and with that comes some expansive opportunities.

Use this New Moon to call back your power. Stand in your body and fully own who you are. Run for what you want and start a new cycle in your being. Seek wholeness in your identity and share yourself unapologetically. Give yourself space for freedom and open the doors to change. Don’t resist what unfolds, instead leap into it. Embrace the present. Own your shadow — and your light.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

12th House | Intuition

It is time to withdraw a bit, Pisces. You know your time is coming, but this Aquarius New Moon highlights a time to go within and take time to rest. It falls in your 12th House, bringing something to a close and asking for respite. You could be working behind the scenes on a project, finishing up something personal, or even just taking some time off. The 12th House asks for you to get in touch with your intuition and pay attention to your dreams. You could be re-engaging with a more spiritual and hidden aspect of yourself now. You are asked to have faith and let go of control.

Venus and Saturn meet in this area of your chart, suggesting you are taking a bit of respite in a sense. That is good! You have been restructuring your internal world in the last few years, and now you can find solace in your inner sanctum. Venus is softening Saturn, allowing you to find space to truly let go and accept ease. Surrender has been a big message for you, and now there may be a gift in the process of surrendering. The ways in which you have felt lack will yield fruitful results soon. Venus wants you to find joy in just being. Your spiritual growth and wisdom are something that will be with you for decades to come. If you have been hoping to close a door, this conjunction will make it that much easier to do so.

Jupiter is sending golden beams of light to your 2nd House. There is a sense that you can truly change your financial outlook in the coming months. Many of you may take on new work, resources, or clients. With Jupiter’s influence at this New Moon, it seems you may even begin to see this unfolding now. Don’t limit yourself when it comes to claiming your value or worth. Jupiter will reward you for asking for what you deserve. There is a need to take a bit of risk on yourself too. You, more than most signs, will have some of the best financial opportunities until May 16th. Create opportunities for yourself, as well. Be wise about your spending and your investments. Accept financial support when or if it comes, too. Additionally, Jupiter will help you use the talents that come easily to you. Don’t turn a blind eye to this. Your self-confidence is likely to improve.

Use this New Moon to slow down and focus on completion. Take time for rest, reflection, and respite. Turn your attention to what needs to be addressed and seek resolution. Close doors on what no longer holds value in your life — let go of limitations. Ease into the spiritual space and commune with your spirit. Give yourself forgiveness, grace, and peace. You deserve it now.

Cancer Full Moon Miniscopes

Cancer Full
Moon Miniscopes

Softness and Stillness.

The Full Moon falls at 16º Cancer, 6:07 PM ET on January 6th. The Moon comes home, back to where it feels comforted and nourished by the soft energy of Cancer. The Moon in Cancer is always a powerful time, and this Full Moon is no different. This is a complete gestation of nurturing our inner potential. At the New Moon in Capricorn, we broke barriers and dissolved limitations. Now, we can let the Cancerian water rush in to cleanse the space and wash away what was left behind. By opening the floodgates, we renew ourselves and everything else around us.

We watch the Moon itself closely, as it is the leader of this lunation. Just as the Moon shines brilliantly, we too, are willing to stand in our own light. The Moon opposes the Sun, where they each stand their ground: two forces of nature. This energy is one of culmination—a reorientation of both our internal and external worlds. We are focused on our nest and our comforts, perhaps seeking to make more room for ourselves to grow this year. We are taking stock of our emotional natures and ensuring that our needs are met as we venture out into the world.

The Moon in Cancer is a time to work with our vulnerabilities and our careful, intimate natures. We hold the softest parts of ourselves closely, and honor the home we’ve built. Here, the Moon sextiles Uranus, inspiring our inner sanctums. The idea of vulnerability is taken to new heights. In some ways, we may feel excited for change. We understand why we must let go of the past in order to welcome a brighter tomorrow.

Uranus brings a whirlwind of adventure and excitement at this lunation. It will not only touch the Moon, but also Mercury and the Sun! So, a sense of liberation is coming from the heart and mind. We can feel electric or motivated. There is a huge alignment and shift within us and how we approach life in general.

At the end of the day, Venus swoops in to nurture us, as it trines Mars and sextiles Jupiter. We have learned much from Mars in recent months. Perhaps our relationships must be built with grace and the connections we create are evolving. With Jupiter in a positive influence, we know the best is yet to come. Just as life is ever-changing, we are the same:existing like the Moon, through phases and cycles that each bring us a sense of fulfillment. We are full to the brim and ready to water the gardens of 2023 in endless nourishment.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 12º to 20º, you will feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Especially those with strong Cardinal placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

4th House | Protection

If you have been feeling a little withdrawn lately, that is ok. Go with it. It seems that there has been so much emphasis on your work, career, and life direction—that it may be time to come home and tend to yourself in some way. Rest is imperative. It is necessary. Have you been allowing yourself to slow down? This Full Moon will bring a period for you to refocus your energy.

Your 4th House is being lit up at this Full Moon, where you see changes in your family and home. There can be dynamics that alter. You could be confronted to deal with your past and find peace with your memories — even if they were hard. The 4th House is about emotional foundations, and it is from here that everything is built. Stabilizing this part of your life allows for the security you seek. Some of you may bring in new members of the family, change your living space or even update your decor. You are being asked to take control of this private part of your life. Home is where the heart is, and you have to ensure that your heart is safe and protected.

The Moon will reach out to Uranus, along with the Sun and Mercury as well! It actually seems that there may be some joyfully unexpected surprises coming your way — especially when it comes to your stability, sense of value, or even possibly income. If an opportunity arises to showcase your talents or knowledge, don’t shy away from this!

Mercury and Mars are both retrograde at the start of the year, and this creates a slower pace overall for everyone. Try not to rush ahead or push too much as we enter 2023. It is best to remain reflective. Try taking a look back at all you have accomplished publicly, at work, or even what goals you’ve hit! It will be the inspiration you need to get you revved up for the year ahead!

Use this Full Moon to bring it all back home. Spend time with your family. Redecorate or reorganize your home. Prepare yourself for a move or a change in the home/family front. Focus on your emotional well-being and tend to places where you feel more vulnerable. Create stability in the quiet and make time for personal reflection. You redefine your peace and carve out space for you to process how you feel.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

3rd House | Dialogue

It may be time to share what has been brewing in your mind. It seems that your ideas are coming in rapid-fire, and you have so much you would like to get done now. This Full Moon in Cancer comes sweeping, shining a light on your 3rd House, so prepare to share! The 3rd House is the house of communication, thoughts, ideas, language, and local community. This is a space that feels good to you.

You may be wrapping up a project, focusing on writing content/blogs/articles, or even simply seeking to learn as much as possible. Your mind is insatiable right now. There is a call to interact and learn through those interactions, so reach out to people to help get your ideas flowing. Alternatively, you may just be feeling busier than normal. The 3rd House can have us filling our schedules quickly. Take a moment to step back and prioritize what is important to you. Are you spreading yourself too thin? What actually needs your attention right now? Be mindful of how you use your time.

Surprises can abound at this Full Moon, but positively so, as the Sun, Moon, and Mercury all reach out to Uranus! There may be unexpected information or news, perhaps even invitations out or trips that you had not anticipated needing to take! Go with it! The spontaneity and adventure could be great for you!

With two retrogrades happening simultaneously, the new year can feel a bit slow to start. This energy may make us feel al little aimless and scattered over the first few weeks, but that will clear up completely by mid-January. Focus on integration more than anything else.

Use this Full Moon to practice balance and levity. Ask for advice and chat about your ideas. Reach out to people in your life to connect. Learn, adapt, and integrate. Reprioritize what you are doing and create less “busy-ness” in your life to welcome more of what you love. Your words hold power. Your ideas are worthy.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

 2nd House | Self-reliance

With a Full Moon in your 2nd House, you will be all eyes on security. However, security can come in many forms. You will be asked to look at your resources, your values, and your self-worth. Do you feel that you are enough? Have you been giving yourself grace? Are you using your resources effectively? Perhaps you need to make changes to how you produce and accumulate.

You may be too hyper-focused on what brings you security now – but remain complacent. Strategy is important here. The long-term is where things will pay off for you. The Cancer energy at this Full Moon wants you to dream a little and stoke the creativity in your heart. It wants you to trust the talents you have and see that you are enough to make everything you want to come true. You could work on budgeting, changing banks or investments, or even shifting/changing your source(s) of income at this lunation. Don’t let impostor syndrome keep you down. You are a valuable part of your community.

With Uranus at a good angle to the Sun, Moon, and Mercury, there is some whimsy to this Full Moon! The energy will have a bit of excitement and electricity. You may receive unexpected (yet somewhat positive news) in regard to finances or resources! Keep your eyes peeled and open for new possibilities that will arise in the weeks following this lunation.

With Mars retrograde in your sign, and your ruler also retrograde, you will feel particularly slow at the start of the year. This energy welcomes moments of rest and re-focusing. Try to ignore distractions from the bigger picture! This will only lead to more confusion in the long term. Pay attention to your body first and foremost.

Use this Full Moon to focus on your self-worth and your resources. Change how you see value in what you do. Ask for what you deserve and provide yourself a seat at the table. Own up to your talents and be proud of how far you have come. You are secure. Stop holding yourself back for fear of leaving comfort behind.

Cancer & cancer Rising

1st House | Individuality

It is time to bring it all back to you. This Full Moon falls in your sign, highlighting your drive, motivations, and desires. It is literally illuminating the ground you walk on and where you stand. You need to know that you are being tasked with confronting anything that is currently seen as an obstacle.

This Full Moon can have you surging with energy (watch for exhaustion post-Full Moon) and will have you feeling passionate about something that has been top of mind. Whatever you want in life, it can be yours if you are willing to go for it. Your 1st House is all about the things that drive us in life. You are being told that your identity is important. You are being witnessed, perceived, and seen. The masks are coming off. Stand within your courageous being and take control of your desires. Release what has been plaguing you or holding you back.

Uranus is adding some fun for you! You are likely to be busy and full of ideas — perhaps even more social than normal. It seems most people really want to spend time with you! You may over-commit though, so watch for that. Ultimately, this Full Moon will be quite playful for you. Follow the threads of spontaneity and excitement. They are leading you to new pathways!

With Mercury and Mars both retrograde, there is still a need to stop and pause. Not everything needs to be tackled or finished immediately. It is best to re-prioritize — especially when it comes to relationships and connections. Lots of people will be resurfacing for you soon.

Use this Full Moon to fully focus on your growth and yourself. Leverage your resilience and the softness in your strength. Find what fuels you and drives you forward. Listen to your heart and make room for your passions. Desire can take you far. You can walk into the spotlight now. It is time to be seen.

LEO TO SCORPIO

Leo & Leo Rising

12th House | Contemplation

After a busy and full last few weeks, you are seeking respite and a chance to slow down. As we enter the realm of this Cancer Full Moon, you will be called into a place of rest and restoration. Your 12th House is now being illuminated by this lunation, where we can find the subconscious energy we hold coming to the surface.

You are shining a light on all that has felt hidden or unseen. Old buried emotions may come back if they have not been properly dealt with. Some of you may also be looking to engage in an ending of sorts. You could be bringing something to a close: a project, a relationship, a contract, or even a phase of your life. Whatever it is, you are asked to have faith and trust in yourself. The biggest challenge of the 12th House is knowing when to let go and learning to trust your intuition.

With Uranus in a positive angle to this Full Moon, there may be some work surprises that arise now. Try not to let anything derail you, especially because they actually may not be so bad. It does seem that there is a turning point happening in your life overall, however. So new doorways are beginning to open for you!

Two planets are retrograde, making those new doorways feel a bit foggier for you. However, this just means it isn’t quite time to act or pursue yet. It is best to integrate and re-prioritize. If something does change with work, it can give you a chance to see what you really want or need. Honestly, these retrogrades are really helpful for you to figure out exactly what you want out of life. Mercury is retrograde in your 6th House, telling me that you could go back to some better habits when it comes to your routines and health.

Use this Full Moon to take time away and reflect. Rest and restore. Listen to your intuition and slow down. Practice mindfulness and pay attention to your dreams. Create for the sake of creating. Play just because you can. Endings are near, but so too, are new beginnings.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

11th House | Idealization

When was the last time you allowed yourself to envision what tomorrow could look like? The future is unpredictable, but sometimes we need to be reminded to have a little hope. This Full Moon in Cancer may be just what you need to engage with that energy. It will shine brilliantly in your 11th House of hopes, dreams, the future, network, and community.

You are being called to surround yourself with people who want to support and uplift you. Friends will be coming out of the woodwork and showing up for you. The community you have created is abundant and allows you to flourish…just remember to reach out to them when you need their help. You may have a tendency to want to do things all on your own, but others have strengths where you feel weak. Knowing when to let other people in can be powerful for you. This Full Moon wants you to know that you are not alone. Another way to engage in this beautiful Leo energy is to give yourself space to create, maybe even set up a plan or idea of what your next steps may look like. The future always begins today.

Uranus is playfully aligned with the Sun, Mercury, and Moon at this lunation. This is creating some electricity for you — in a good way! It seems that you may have an opportunity to explore, travel, or adventure somewhere new. Leaps of faith will be front and center, are you ready to step into the next? Even if it doesn’t quite feel like you are ready, it may still be “time”.

However, if you need time to mull things over, that is ok! Don’t feel pressured. Mercury and Mars are both still retrograde. So you can definitely take some time to decide how you want to approach some of the freshness coming your way. Just don’t be pushed into inaction or driven by fear.

Use this Full Moon to work on your community and network. Connect with friends and open yourself to them in a new way. Weed out the people in your life who don’t want you to grow. Focus on your future and make space to dream about what tomorrow has in store for you.

Libra & Libra Rising

10th House | Purpose

You may be really focusing on your work, career, or direction right now. It seems that you have been doing a lot to secure a better path for yourself. Long-term goals come to the forefront of your mind. This Full Moon in Cancer asks you to dream about what you want your career to look like. If you want to make changes, you may find that you can shed all your inhibitions ––and walk toward something more creative or in line with your vision.

Your 10th House is being illuminated in a way that it has not been for quite some time. All your work in the last few years has not been in vain. You are starting to see how even unrelated efforts are impacting the big picture for you. The ask here is that you start to clearly define your goals. You may have to be more realistic about work, or release expectations here. Maybe too much is being asked of you. You could apply for new positions, receive a promotion, leave a job, or even change careers altogether. Whatever it is, you are more aware of your position and direction.

Uranus is creating some excitement and surprise around this lunation, as it reaches out to the Sun, Moon, and Mercury. There may be an unexpectedly positive opportunity that may arise for you or a partner — especially in regard to finances. This could be a bonus, commission, inheritance, or some other resource. Additionally, if you have been feeling a little lack luster with intimacy, this Full Moon will completely change that!

With Mercury and Mars both retrograde, you feel ready to go back to things you have left on the backburner, mostly with home-related matters or even long-term visions. Both of these areas feel much more manageable now, even if it does feel a bit more slow-moving. That is ok, you going back to address them makes them that much easier. If you plan to travel or take any trips, Mars retrograde in your 9th House will help you prepare for it!

Use this Full Moon to focus on your career and work. Spend time dreaming up what your life direction could look like. Establish relationships with those in higher positions, and plan your long-term goals. Speak up when you are being overworked or under-valued. Leverage what you have learned this year to help you, but more – know your limits and when it’s time to ask for help.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

9th House | Exploration

As you stand at the threshold of your next move, you find that you are being asked to see the potential. This is important because you are not as limited as you may have originally thought you were. Sometimes it takes seeing things from a new perspective to gain clarity or know what is possible. This Full Moon comes at a great time, as it washes over you in soft Cancer and highlights your 9th House of expansion, growth, exploration, and possibility.

You may have felt like you had one option, but have not given yourself the chance to see there are others around you. What you need to know is you are in a position where you create your destiny and your outcomes. It may require you to take a leap of fait — trusting yourself comes to mind. Some of you may be looking to gain more insight or a new skill, either through higher education, experience, travel, or self-learning. You could be taking classes, joining a cause, or confronting outdated beliefs. Whatever it is, you are all eyes toward your growth. There is so much in you that you have yet to explore. It is time to dive right in.

A relationship could be more playful than normal — or even just the cause for a surprise. Some of you may make an unexpected commitment around this Full Moon. Alternatively, there may be some major shifts in relationships in your life, too. That is ok! Uranus is in a good angle to this lunation. So any changes that arise will be positive in the long run. Don’t resist, instead lean into what comes up! You may even surprise yourself with how much support you are receiving from others.

With your traditional ruler Mars retrograde, along with Mercury, there may be a health-related matter than needs some attention now. If you have doctor visits planned, you will uncover more information now. On top of this, any recovery process may be slower than anticipated. If the matter isn’t health-related, it may be work-related. Unfinished projects will be begging for a review.

Use this Full Moon to know that you hold the keys to your own success. You can explore new realms, possibilities, and spiritual growth. You may go back to school, take a course, or even seek new ways to shift your perspective. The sky’s the limit when you open yourself up more.

SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

8th House | Evolution

It feels like you are making an important decision for yourself soon. You know that there is something looming– and you feel called to step back a bit. There may have been a setback or news you received that caused you to re-evaluate. This Full Moon in Cancer comes in and says it is time to let go, refocus, and transform.

It illuminates your 8th House, a space in a chart that remains in the darkness. When we are provided with light in this area, we see parts of our life that need to be addressed, healed, and confronted. You may be working through your emotions, going to therapy, or seeking counsel. You could be looking at alternative resources that may be available to you, and sharing more intimate information with people you trust. You know you want to break an important cycle or end something that isn’t working. This is a chance for you to get your ducks in a row and make your preparations. Some of you may even receive news about a bonus, contract, group project, or investment at this time, as well. There is an obvious focus on your resources, as well — both shared and personal.

You may be unexpectedly busy as the year begins. Try not to over-commit your time and energy. Uranus is wonderfully positioned to the Moon, Sun, and Mercury from your 6th House. So, there could be some surprise happenstances with work, projects, or clients. Most of this will feel positive, but it may be a bit overwhelming at first. Take a step back and assess what feels like it is an immediate need.

This is especially true as Mercury and Mars are both retrograde at this time. You may feel a bit pulled in several directions. This is temporary. It is best to evaluate and re-prioritize. Lean into the slowness and try not to load on more than you can handle right now.

Use this Full Moon to do some shadow work and confront your fears. Open yourself up to the changes in life without controlling outcomes. Focus on reconnecting with parts of yourself that you thought you had lost. Reclaim your power and call back your magick. Resilience goes a long way.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

7th House | Understanding

You are being called to seek balance now. This month has had you focused on yourself, your motivations, and the things you desire. Now, you are starting to see how your actions extend beyond you and bleed into those around you. You may have your mind on your relationships, your partnerships, or the “others” in your life. People hold importance now. This sweet Full Moon in Cancer will be lighting up your 7th House of others.

You may need to focus your attention on your partner, a close friend, or a business partner. A close relationship is nourishing for you now, more than it has been lately. If you want to seek clarity around the relationships you have in your life – and you may gain it now. People are showing you who they are — believe them. You could also be asked to cultivate more equilibrium and enact better boundaries. This Full Moon puts so much emphasis on others that you may need to step outside of yourself to see what is really happening. Perspective is going to be important. Some of you may start an entirely new cycle and commit to someone or something more intently in your life.

The Sun and Mercury in your sign meet very closely and reach out to Uranus along with the Moon! There could be some excitement that comes about in regard to creativity, fun, and joy! You could be ready to really let loose a bit more at the start of the year. If your partnership could use a bit more spice, then this may be the time to do it! If you are single, this Full Moon will be perfect for meeting someone! Whatever it is, there is a sense that you want to invite more fun into your life right now. Do it!

Additionally, Mars and Mercury are both retrograde. Mercury is retrograde in your sign pointing to a need to re-evaluate what you want out of this year ahead and for yourself overall. It is good to have those perspectives and redirect your energy now. Don’t make resolutions. Make integrations and reflections. Energy will turn more direct come mid-January.

Use this Full Moon to connect with those who are important to you. Focus on your relationships, close friends, and partners. Work on your boundaries and find a better balance in your life. You could be making strong commitments. This is all about unity and harmony.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

6th House | Regimen

You have been reflecting a lot lately. You may have been making changes behind the scenes that other people are not yet seeing. You are tying up those loose ends. However, you may have felt more disconnected from what is right in front of you. There is a need to focus on the present now and gain more awareness in your daily life. This Full Moon in Cancer opens the doors to you, turning your attention to your work, health, routines, and mundane life as it shines a light on your 6th House.

This is your chance to change how you approach your day — maybe building more efficient routines or rituals that can help you deal with your schedule better. Some of you may be questioning your placement with work or your working environment. Maybe you are not totally sure which direction to go or how to start. Try not to put pressure on yourself. Since this is a Full Moon, there is a call to release — in this case, it would be expectations around what you consider to be “work”. If it isn’t fulfilling you, then why force yourself to do it? Alternatively, you could have your eyes on your health and be looking to create better habits for yourself. Whatever it is, it seems that you are trying to get organized.

Uranus, your modern ruler, plays a key role in this lunation. It sits in your 4th House and has been for years now. It will be positively connected to this lunation, creating some potential joyful surprises. There may be new home-related or family-related matters that can arise. Perhaps a shift in your living space or even a simple redecoration. Whatever it is there is a need to go along with whatever arises. You are being directed toward something new. Adventures start at home.

Mercury and Mars are both still retrograde as we begin the year. With Mercury in your 12th House, you are definitley in reflection mode — coupled with Uranus in the 4th House, there’s definitely a need to find stable foundations before moving ahead this year. A good outlet now is Mars spending time in your 5th House. It is reconnecting you with your creative energy and with what you love!

Use this Full Moon to redefine what you want out of life. Decide what your routines look like. Make room for healthy and more clearly defined working situations. Try to have fewer expectations from others and focus on where you can create more personal security. You are being called to see what is right in front of you.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

5th House | Creativity

When was the last time you decided to listen to your heart? There is a call to bring more joy, expression, and creation into your life. This Full Moon in a fellow Water sign lights up all over your 5th House, clarifying what makes you happy. Full Moons signal a release, so this may require you to let go of something that burdens you or has been weighing heavily on your heart. Sit with this.

The 5th House is all about risk, love, heart-centred action, creation, conception, and the inner child. You may want to engage in more play and pleasure. It is time to let loose and try something you normally wouldn’t. Some of you may start a new relationship, try to have a baby, or even bring more warmth and passion back into an existing relationship. Alternatively, you could be expressing yourself in an entirely new way. You are getting into a groove and more willing to put yourself out there. This requires a level of confidence that you are coming into. Give yourself grace. It is ok to take up space.

The Sun, Mercury, and Moon are all reaching out to Uranus in a positive way. Uranus brings about unexpected information or news your way — especially in regard to friendships or romance. There is a playful and whimsical element to this energy. You could feel inspired. You may have a lot going on with people wanting to connect, reach out, and invite you places. You may even be travelling soon! So much excitement comes your way in the next few weeks!

Mercury and Mars will continue their retrograde at this Full Moon. So even with the need or feeling of wanting to move forward, you may still feel rather stuck or slow in certain areas. Mars has been combing through your 4th House making home/family issues more stagnated or top of mind. This would be a time to reflect, integrate, and slow down. If you want to buy, sell, or rent, take your time in deciding what you want. Some of you may be picking up old home projects back up. Others may be reconnecting with family. Whatever it is, this is all working to solidify your emotional foundations. Your sanctuary needs your attention.

Use this Full Moon to embrace your inner child and make room for play and joy. Seek creativity and happiness. Listen to your heart more and let loose. You have a chance to express yourself in a new way. Don’t hide pieces of who you are. People deserve to see you — all of you.

Full Moon Note

The Moon in Cancer is a time to work with our vulnerabilities and our careful, intimate natures. We hold the softest parts of ourselves closely, and honor the home we’ve built. Here, the Moon sextlies Uranus, inspiring our inner sanctums. The idea of vulnerability is taken to new heights. In some ways, we may feel excited for change. We understand why we must let go of the past in order to welcome a brighter tomorrow.

Capricorn New Moon Miniscopes

Capricorn New
Moon Miniscopes

Climbing The Summit.

The New Moon falls at 1º Capricorn, 5:16 AM ET on December 23rd. As we enter this new astrological season, we are given a fresh lunar cycle—one where we are called to reform and restructure. The New Moon in Capricorn grounds us as we embark on a journey towards growth. It supports: creating foundations and structures where there once were none. Standing like a mountain in the middle of the ocean, it is a shelter to keep us from drowning in the icy sea of Winter. This New Moon is concerned with where we lay our roots and set ourselves up, acting like a space of protection as we find our way. Here, we start to build toward something bigger than ourselves.

However, when we carve out our space on this mountain, do we lock ourselves in? When does a structure become too rigid, too restrictive? Saturn is the leader of this New Moon, where it redefines, restructures, and rebuilds all that has come into focus over the last year. We know that path isn’t always easy, but with hard work comes reward—every time. Saturn isn’t just the ruler of obstacles, but also where we reach the pinnacle of success. We have ascended up the mountain, made it to the top, but now we have a different perspective of life atop the peak. To rest peacefully on top of that mountain, we must be willing to let some things go. Saturn is finishing its transit through Aquarius in the coming months. A chapter is coming to a close.

This New Moon comes with a square to Jupiter, where expansion and reaching beyond the limits are themes that light the way. We must understand the story of the Devil in Tarot, where excess and extreme scarcity leave us in the dark. We have to bring it back to a balance. Jupiter is the Wheel, pushing us to understand that everything works in divine timing. Sometimes, we have to accept the churning and turning of life and notice how at times our fortune changes. Jupiter allows for new opportunities as we unchain ourselves from the Devil. We are not the obstacles that stand before us, but the resilience we have in the face of those obstacles.

Mercury sextiles Neptune, where we are tasked with self-reflection. Our ability to transform our inner world allows us to ground our dreams into reality. Venus plays an interesting role here as it trines Uranus. Sometimes, the unexpected moments in life can be pleasurable and exciting. We must be willing to value the leaps of faith we take and accept that part of life is letting loose.

Forgiveness and compassion lead the way toward greater self-acceptance. It is from here we can truly enjoy the fruits of our labor and sit in our success. The New Moon sets the tone for the year to come, so how will you work with this energy? This is a pathway built with long-term potential. Nothing is impossible when we have faith.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 0º to 5º or 26º to 29º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Cardinal placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

NOTE: I added some journal prompts since this is the last New Moon of the calendar year.

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

10th House | Pinnacle

What is the pinnacle for you? Capricorn Season usually turns your focus toward your outward life, publicity, and career. This also encompasses your direction and achievements. The last 6 months have had you working hard and making decisions that impacted your future — and now it seems that you are either beginning or about to begin a new phase.

Your 10th House is being highlighted — a place of career, direction, and honor. You may be busy with work and considering ways to change how you approach your career. This would be an ideal time to launch a product/project, bringing your focus to the type of work you do and/or maintaining your perspective on your goals. Are you feeling like you are doing what you want to do? How does this influence your daily life? Are you overwhelmed right now? Taking on too much? In some ways, you may be reaching a pinnacle. You could be redefining your purpose and pushing yourself to the next level. Saturn is the leader of this New Moon, emphasizing your future goals and community. Saturn has been regularly transiting your 11th House since December 2020. Soon this will come to an end, and the foundations you’ve created for your future will be more secure.

A key player at this lunation is Jupiter. Jupiter squares the New Moon, creating a potential obstacle or even making us a bit overzealous. Jupiter is now back in your 1st House, so there may be a bit of tension between your expression, identity, and motivation and how that relates to your career or current vocation. It may be that you are ready for your next move. Alternatively, you could just feel spread too thin. Perhaps you are taking on more than you need to right now. Really understand your limits and how they help your overall growth. Luckily, the Venus/Uranus trine can help ease any tensions, especially as this aspect may bring an unexpected gift your way!

Use this New Moon to build a bridge for yourself. Focus on your next steps and your direction in life. Allow yourself to shine at work regardless of what others may say. If a job isn’t a good fit, then start looking around for something else. Work with your roots and nourish your foundations. Really give yourself space to go after what you want.

Journal prompts: What do I value most in my work? Where could I use more self-confidence? How can I allow myself to be seen? What are my long term goals and aspirations? Am I truly happy in the work/career that I have?

Taurus & Taurus Rising

9th House | Horizons

This is a time of learning, understanding, and making time for your own potential growth. This, in part, requires you to take a few more risks. You could be taking on a new course of study, itching to travel, getting in touch with what inspires you, or simply just adjusting your mindset. This is a call to change your perspective a bit, too. You are opening up more and willing to learn through experience.

Your 9th House is being activated, so this is a good time to expand your horizons. This is about experiencing life and learning along the way. This New Moon will excellent for long-term visions and goals that you have for yourself — looking ahead at what tomorrow will bring. Reconnecting with a sense of inner faith or trust could be important now, too. Saturn rules this New Moon, and it has been sitting at the top of your chart since late 2020. Pressures at work have been surmounting. You are starting to see the reward (or even closure) around all of your hard work. Let this energy be a reminder to allocate less energetic resources to your job and put more investment back into yourself.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 12th House. Endings are not always as clear-cut as we think they should be. You are in the process of bringing something to a close or trying to tie up a loose end. Jupiter is going to show you how connected that ending is to other facets of your life. It may not be as simple as you would want it to be, but it doesn’t mean you should avoid it. However, Venus and Uranus are playfully aligned at this New Moon. Venus will bring about greater self-confidence and see the value in taking a leap of faith. As one door potentially closes, another will open — what door do you want it to be? Gemini & Gemini Rising

 8th House | Shadows

You have come so far, and the last month or so was a wild ride for you! Right now though, your mind turns toward some healing, slowing down and focusing on what’s here in front of you. This New Moon reinforces that message. It falls in your 8th House, this puts attention on shedding old skin, releasing and unearthing. Even in ways not seen by others, your life has been completely transformed.

This New Moon is asking for you to get intimate. Focus on your emotional well-being, but also share your depths with those you are close to. It could be a great New Moon for exploring interests and opening yourself up to the unknown. Alternatively, some of you may have past issues that crop up and need your attention. Resilience is key as you walk through fire and ice to get to the core of what keeps you in your holding patterns. Like a Phoenix, you can rise again, burning brighter, faster, and hotter than ever before — but it may require personal grace and confrontations with your own limitations first. Consider this confrontation an exercise of intimacy — with yourself and others. Remember that resilience can simply be leaning into your softness. Saturn rules this lunation and has been sitting in your 9th House, teaching you the lessons of knowing your limits and reaching beyond them when necessary (see above note about confronting your limits). You could be staring down some big goals and reminding yourself of the possibilities that you hold within you.

Jupiter squares this New Moon from your 11th House. Perhaps there is a need to separate a bit from the influence of others or group-think. Not to say you can’t share or listen, but you may need to feel more rooted in your own values or ideas before taking them on from anyone else. Some people in your life may also be using more of your energy than intended. Luckily, Venus helps this a bit. It trines Uranus, adding some fun and flavor to your life. Venus is reminding you of your innate power and beauty — and how some connections are truly value and nourishing.

Use this New Moon to work on yourself and your inner world. Focus on your healing and the ways in which you can get intimate with those you love and trust. Open yourself up to new areas for resources and be willing to share and receive what is available. Find time to break cycles that keep you in harmful patterns. You are like a snake, constantly shedding skin.

Journal prompts: What have I been avoiding? Where could I use more intimacy? How can I find resolution or break old habits? Where does my magick lie? Who do I need to make peace with?

Cancer & cancer Rising

7th House | Duality

The tone shifts from the Full Moon to the New Moon, where you focus on the “we.” Over the last many years, you have been dealing with Pluto going through your 7th House, restructuring your relations with others. This impacts how you engage in the world around you — and most importantly your one-on-one dynamics. So this New Moon brings an opportunity to make changes on the partnership or relationship front.

Your 7th House is being emphasized right now, which places attention on the “others” in our lives. You could be thinking about boundaries, connection, and how you fit into said relationship(s). Now, keep in mind, this isn’t always a romantic relationship. This is about a union of any kind — business partner, close friendship, etc. You may be more willing with the give and take — just know to keep a balance. If you are single, this is can be a time to meet someone. If you are in a relationship and happy, you may want to continue to cultivate greater reciprocity or commitment. Now, here’s the thing about 7th House transits, if you are UNHAPPY, then know that a new beginning may be sparked by an ending (but of course, it will be for the best in the end). Only you know the intricacies of this relationship or how it may play out for you. Ultimately, the 7th House is about restoring balance in your life on every level. Saturn is the ruler of this New Moon. In the last few years, it has been teaching you lessons around intimacy, sharing, and dealing with your shadows. Luckily, this lunation can mark a turning point in these lessons or teachings.

Jupiter is sitting at the top of your chart and squares this lunation. This is actually making you quite visible, whether you are ready for it or not. There is something to be said about stepping out into that spotlight a bit. You can’t avoid the attention, so embrace it. There may be something going on around the work front or in relation to your goals. You may feel at odds with what is transpiring but Jupiter reminds us to have faith. It could be an incredible opportunity for you. Venus comes sweeping in with Uranus to say that an important connection or person is extremely supportive at this time. You are not alone. Additionally, if there is a chance to collaborate or co-create, do it! Unexpected joys may arise for you as you do.

Use this New Moon to start something new with other people in your life. Enact boundaries and keep them. Stand up for yourself. Form new relationships and alliances. Strengthen the partnerships that truly matter. Try to make connections that feel inspiring and exciting. Recommit to someone or something and restore a balance in your life.

Journal prompts: Who or what needs my attention right now? Where could I engage in better boundaries? How can I welcome more balance into my life? Where can I use more reciprocity? How can I better honor others and better honor myself?

LEO TO SCORPIO

Leo & Leo Rising

6th House | Nourishment

You are taking things slow right now. You have been making changes to your daily routine and your life, in general, even in subtle ways. But it seems that the day-to-day operations are what is making the most impact. You are looking to take more ownership and control of your daily affairs. You may be finding your way in a new job or simply just settling into a new routine.

This New Moon falls in your 6th House, and all of this lies here. In addition, health could be a focus, too. You may be trying to do better and be better to your body. A New Moon in your 6th House is an excellent time to look for work and to start routines that you want to carry with you into the long term. Take time to reorganize your intentions and priorities for the upcoming weeks or even the year. In the process of committing to a few plans or ideas, you can be flexible. You don’t have to feel fixed on whatever you decide forever. Actually, you have been learning the lessons of commitment, for better or worse, over the last few years. Saturn has been transiting your 7th House and now it gains focus at this New Moon. Understand that commitments are elastic. By giving yourself the grace to change your mind and pivot, you are honoring your ongoing evolution. On top of this, as Saturn prepares to leave your 7th House in March, it may be time to consider where you could use help and share the burdens of responsibility with others.

Jupiter is sitting in your 9th House squaring this lunation. In the process of rewriting your routines, you may be wanting to take opportunities to try new things or break out of the monotony of life. However you could feel that it just isn’t time yet. There may be a fear or limitation associated with the lack of growth you feel in the moment. Luckily, Venus and Uranus are quite helpful at this time, adding a bit of fun and whimsy to your life. Spontaneous energy is likely — so one way to break out of the boredom you feel is to start with small daily adventures. Uranus can also add an unexpected (positive) turn around to your work or career. However, this will require putting yourself out there a little more. Any new projects or clients may be a bit more aligned with you or just exciting overall.

Use this New Moon to focus on your schedule, routines, and daily life. Try to rearrange things to make it work for you. Don’t be afraid to state your needs and listen to your body more. Follow the moments where whimsy and playfulness can set in. Maybe that is the variety to your routine that you are really seeking.

Journal prompts: What skills have I not tapped into in a while? Where could I be better with my health, diet or body? How can I build routines that align with myself? Where can I use more self-care? How can I adapt to new areas of my life differently?

Virgo & Virgo Rising

5th House | Expression

Right now, you are receiving reminders of what it means to focus on your own joy — and we have a New Moon in Capricorn, that is helping you with this. With a New Moon in a fellow Earth sign, the energy is more natural and receptive. You can easily accept whatever comes, as it is a reflection of your own element.

This lunation falls in your 5th House, so your mind will be on creativity, joy, happiness, creation, and possibly even love. You may get a wind of inspiration that rolls through and empowers you. You know that your happiness is essential, and now that is more clear than ever. What this New Moon invites you to do is reflect on what brings you pleasure and play in life. You have to connect with that inner child and open yourself up to the fun in life. Let loose a little and relax your shoulders. If you have kids, this would be an ideal New Moon to connect with them. If you are looking to conceive, this lunation is good for that, too. Of course, this isn’t just conception of human life, but also a conception of an idea or even a romance! Saturn is the ruler of this lunation, and it has been sitting in your 6th House for the last few years. Changes to work, routines, and even your health have been prominent. Now, you can sort of take a moment to breathe. This is a chance to see how far you have come recently! All of your hard work or building hasn’t been fruitless.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 8th House. Creativity or dreams may be met with fear. Perhaps you feel indebted or tied to something/someone that doesn’t allow you to express yourself as wildly as you’d like. Alternatively, you may feel you need to re-evaluate who you spend your resources on. Take care not to get immobilized. With Venus and Uranus in a trine, there is a level of taking a risk that feels right. You have to trust yourself enough to know that even if you can’t see it, everything will work out. This aspect also supports playfulness and just celebrating how you show up in the world. Be proud of yourself! Unexpected joys will show up if you allow them to.

Use this New Moon to open yourself creatively. Follow your passions and listen to your heart. Go with what sets your soul ablaze and don’t let anyone stop you. Give voice to your happiness and your joy. You can take up space, it doesn’t mean that someone else doesn’t get their share, too. Start a creative project and just genuinely allow yourself time to relax. Your heart is your guiding force. Where will it lead you?

Journal prompts: What do I want my inner child to know? Where could I use more play and fun? How can I give and receive love in new ways? Where should I welcome more spotlight and attention? How can I love myself differently?

Libra & Libra Rising

4th House | Preservation

This New Moon rushes in to show you how to find power in your softness and restructure your mentality around rest. For you Libra, it is time to come home. You may have been feeling unsettled at best, and this lunation will have you focused on taking a respite or just needing a little space to go within.

The New Moon in Capricorn turns your face toward your inner world, your emotional foundations, and your home/family. Especially as it sits in your 4th House, the area of roots and ancestry. You may be looking to move, buy, sell, or rent. You could be redecorating or just making your house more of a home. Alternatively, you may be more active with family matters or looking to have a quiet entrance into the Winter after a busy few weeks. If you are doing anything home-related and the process is a bit slower, know that it will see a turn of events in mid-January. The opportunities to rewrite traditions and redefine your relationship with lineage come up here as well. Saturn will lead this lunation from your 5th House. This has created quite a bit of buzz and possibly some learnings in areas of your life related to pleasure, creativity, children, and happiness! You have had to learn how to balance more than ever, and possibly all of your efforts are not in vain! Once it leaves in March, you will feel less burdened by experiencing leisure and joy.

With Jupiter square this lunation, relationships can feel especially growth-oriented. There is an opportunity to expand how you connect with others in your life and the important collaborations or partnerships you have created. Jupiter will be sitting in this area of your chart until May 2023. Watch how relationships change in the next few months. If you have been feeling any sort of lack or inequality, that will be highlighted. If you want more adventure, co-create it! You can truly deepen the bonds you have. Venus and Uranus are very helpful at this time, as they trine. Learning to open up more intimately and honestly will bring the security you seek. Venus builds pleasure in how you express your vulnerabilities. Surprises are likely when you don’t shy away from this.

Journal prompts: Where do I feel most secure? What does home mean to me? How can I create more sturdy foundations? Where should I welcome quiet or peace? What needs to be explored in my roots, lineage or family dynamic?

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

3rd House | Integration

You are a Fixed sign, and in the last while, Fixed energy has been going through it a bit. There have been many ups and downs, especially with eclipses, Saturn squaring, and Uranus opposite your sign. However, this New Moon in Capricorn comes in to nourish and heal.

It will fall in your 3rd House, so communication and dialogue will be extremely important. This is really not a time to mince your words or hold back. Instead, you have to be more open with saying what’s on your mind and heart — and more so, also be receptive to what others have to say. People are listening, but in all reality, you should be listening too. This is a time of gathering information and learning through your interactions with others. You may hear some interesting news at this time. Additionally, be careful of overbooking yourself. Busyness is likely. As we enter this New Moon, Saturn will be placed in a prominent position as the leader of this lunation. It has spent some time in your 4th House, where you have been restructuring your idea of home, family, and your emotional foundations. We are nearing (but not yet) the end of this Saturn transit. By March, you will be grounding yourself more in your home or idea of security. Laying roots can feel nourishing. Consider who your family is (chosen or given) and what it means to have that support system.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 6th House, so definitely understand that where you are now is not the end all be all. Jupiter may pile on busyness in your daily life, and so you could be having problems seeing the bigger picture. Try to free up your time and add focus to creating flexibility in your routines. Luckily, Jupiter’s influence can be quite healing and responsive — especially if you are feeling under the weather or recovering from anything health-related. On top of this, Venus and Uranus will be adding some adventure and spontaneity to this lunation. Having important conversations with collaborators, partners, or close relationships can be inspiring — perhaps even leading to surprising outcomes! Follow the feel and share with those around you.

Use this New Moon to really leverage your voice. Get in touch with those around you and share what is on your mind. Write things down and find ways to deal with the busy life you are surrounded by. Try to quiet those voices in your head that hold you back and seek help for any anxiety you may be taking on or hold. Perspective is everything. You need to see things a little differently.

Journal prompts: What do I have a hard time talking about? Where could I listen more? Who do should I be (re)connecting with? What keeps me from using my voice? Who do I value as a confidant and why?

SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

2nd House | Stability

With Mars opposite your sign, you could be feeling a need to slow down and enjoy what is right in front of you. The Full Moon earlier this month had your mind on others, shared experiences, and connections – but now this New Moon will change that. You will be more focused on self-reliance and your personal power.

The New Moon falls in your 2nd House, where income, material possession, self-worth, value, and critical self-understanding lie. Here, we take a stand. If you are looking for new sources of income or a promotion, this could be a good lunation for you to do so, but it won’t come without work. I think it would be best to encourage you to think about what you value and why. What is important to you and how does that impact your daily life? Understanding your self-worth and your morals is helpful as you navigate all of the changes that have been occurring lately. You can’t be caught up in ambiguity anymore. Redefine the attitude toward success. Your self-worth does come into play here, as you may need to be creative and flexible in learning to see yourself in a new light. When was the last time you truly had pride in what you do and talked yourself up? Take a moment to see how much more stable you are now than you have been in the last few years. With Saturn as the leader of this New Moon, you have been learning to use your voice a little differently — possibly even restructuring your perspective and assessing how you engage in this world. We are starting to see some major moves in terms of your local community and how you connect with others as well.

Jupiter, your ruler, squares this New Moon from your 5th House. Creatively and magnetically, you are on fire. Even if you are ready for a new chapter or to take a risk, it may come with some fear of snot seeming ready. Jupiter is helping you express yourself well and asking for you to lean into joy, pleasure, and doing what makes you happy. The 5th House also rules children and conception, making this an ideal lunation for conceiving anything — a project, an idea, a baby, or even a romance. Venus adds to the idea of pleasure as it trines Uranus. There is an air of unpredictability and spontaneity to this energy. You could unexpectedly receive an increase to your resources or have a major shift in perspective regarding your value and self-worth. Someone that you worked with in the past could even be the reason for this new resource or potential income. Lastly, this may be a bonus/tip tied to your output with your work.

Use this New Moon to get a handle on your resources, material and otherwise. Figure out how to spend your energy — and on what. See what potential opportunities arise around money and try to network with people to see if newer clients or work can come up. Comb through the things you own and purge what isn’t good for you anymore. But above all else, focus on how to call back your power, your self-worth and your potential. You have to let go of what stands in the way of you seeing your true value.

Journal prompts: What is scarcity vs security to me? Where could I release comforts more? What do I not value enough in myself? If money was no object, what would I do? Where does my self-worth lack in life? Why is this so?

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

1st House | Motivation

You have been working so hard behind the scenes and now we are reaching a breakout moment. A New Moon is always a good time to start a new cycle, but when it falls in your sign, what you begin is entirely up to you.

This New Moon falls in your 1st House turning your attention toward your individuality, motivations, identity and self. What keeps you going? Who are you and how do you show that to others? These are good questions to ask yourself because you are now in a place where you can change perceptions. This is a time for show and tell — show them who you are, and if they don’t understand, tell them. Make no mistake, you have the floor. There is a spotlight on you, and you are coming into your own. The ask here is that you do what FEELS right. You can begin again and set yourself up for future success, but this may require a little introspection first. This is the time to welcome more autonomy, seek out personal motivations and establish (loose) goals that you want to achieve this year. You are ruled by Saturn, so its influence is one that you know well. At this New Moon, Saturn will take the lead. Since 2020, Saturn has been helping you get more focused/grounded with your finances and elevate your self-worth. After many ups and downs, some restructuring, and personal changes, you can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. By March, this part of your chart will be much clearer.

Interestingly, Jupiter squares this New Moon from your 4th House. There could be a family-related issue that needs your immediate attention or maybe you are looking to make some changes at home. You may have to deal with some tension or challenges that require you to assess what you really want out of your home, family, or safety net. Jupiter will bring beneficial outcomes, so even if it feels uncomfortable at first, things will turn out ok in the end. Venus, in your sign, will trine Uranus, adding some flair to this New Moon. You could be really looking to break out of your comfort zone more. Uranus supports this. It seems you are the harbinger of some surprises and really asked to trust yourself as you act a bit more spontaneously.

Reconnect with your happiness and motivations. What fuels you? What gives you life? Work on re-engaging with your needs.

Journal prompts: What motivates me? Where could I use better boundaries? What am I passionate about? How is my relationship with myself? Where could I use more spontaneity or adventure in life?

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

12th House | Restoration

A call to quiet. You are itching for peace and a slower pace now. You have been working so hard the last few weeks. A demanding schedule for you, or anyone, can be taxing. However, this New Moon invites you to find more serenity in your life. Sometimes, peace is created, not found.

It is time to withdraw a bit. You know your time is coming, but Capricorn Season highlights a time to go within and take time to rest. This New Moon is no different. It falls in your 12th House, bringing something to a close and asking for respite. You could be working behind the scenes on a project, finishing up something personal or even just taking some time off. The 12th House asks for you to get in touch with your intuition and pay attention to your dreams. You could be re-engaging with a more spiritual and hidden aspect of yourself now. You are asked to have faith and let go of control. Surrender and restoration are the themes of this lunation. You are co-ruled by Saturn, a planet of responsibility and structure. However, you tend to be the one that takes that structure and bends it to work for you. At this New Moon, Saturn will take the lead. It has been sitting in your 1st House since 2020, and you have done a lot of work to rediscover pieces of yourself. This has not been an easy feat, as you have had a lot of personal rebuilding to do. Once March comes, you will be relieved of some of that pressure and see a new you with far more clarity. This is only the start of that re-emergence.

Jupiter squares this lunation from your 3rd House, so there may be general busyness or anxiety that is preventing you from actually relaxing or letting go. However, this is only temporary. The limits in your mind have no home here. Jupiter will help you reach beyond said limits for the next few months, giving you a chance at seeing a new perspective and inspiring new ideas. Venus will trine Uranus, your other ruler, at this time, too. Here Venus will bring an unexpected sense of calm or peace if you are willing to lean into it. The more you actually choose to surrender, the better you will be. Positive, unexpected surprises may arise when you relinquish control.

Use this New Moon to really bring yourself in. Take time to reflect, rest, and create your peace. Don’t let anyone or anything take that away from you. Focus on what you can receive and what you can release. This lunation is potent for you — finally closing a door, even if it isn’t easy. Some decisions aren’t to be made lightly, but you know in your heart what the outcomes will be. Take care of yourself.

Journal prompts: What is anxiety vs intuition? Where could I use let go more? What door needs to close? How can I find more forgiveness and grace? Where could I use more clarity in my life?

Pisces & Pisces Rising

11th House | Idealism

Building a community can be important, as it reminds you that you are not alone. Those around you have been there to build you up and help you when you need it most — even if you are afraid to ask. The New Moon in Capricorn comes in to show you that your friends have your back. This is a time for mutual support. The best thing you can do is allow people into your life, and to connect and converse.

The 11th House, where this lunation falls, also rules your hopes, dreams and wishes. So, the theme of this New Moon is about dreaming big and not allowing that to die. If you have a vision of what tomorrow can bring, use that to motivate you toward your future. Nurture feelings of optimism and blend that with your innate realism. This would also be a great time to reach out to friends and your outer network. You are likely to be invited out more and have people really looking to connect with you. The 11th House wants to see you enjoy those in your circle and be willing to meet new people. Saturn is the ruler of this lunation, and it has been sitting in your 12th House for quite some time. You are no stranger to the 12th House, as you naturally rule it. However, having the taskmaster there can feel a bit restrictive or overwhelming at times. Saturn has been teaching you the value of letting go, releasing, closing doors, and resting. Luckily, this is coming to a close soon as Saturn will move into your sign in March of 2023 (that brings a slew of different changes your way).

Jupiter is square this New Moon from your 2nd House. So uncertainty around resources or value can come up. Perhaps there is an issue with security and trying to grow that but feeling that it may be at the expense of your happiness. However, maybe it doesn’t have to be. Your worth isn’t tied to your output or your resources at all. There is abundance in community, connections, relationships, and how you give and receive support out in the world. Venus and Uranus emphasize this further, by reminding you how truly respected you are by those in your circle. You could receive positively unexpected news or information around this time. New contacts can pop up now, too. You may feel busy or in demand in some way. Uranus is ensuring that you are finding the right people and the right words. Dialogue and conversations are a point of growth. Do not be afraid to share how you feel.

Use this New Moon to open yourself to possibility. It is time to ask for help and see that the future is co-created. It requires that you have the will to seek support. Everything is in flux, but the outcome will present itself soon. Things may come and go in life, but focus on the people that remain constant. Your life is fuller and richer with those that you collaborate and connect with.

Journal prompts: Where do I find community? What does support me to me? How can I be better about asking for help? What are my dreams and aspirations? Where could I use more connection in my life?

Gemini Full Moon Miniscopes

Gemini Full
Moon Miniscopes

A Turning Point.

The Full Moon falls at 16º Gemini, 11:08 PM ET on December 7th. This is the last Full Moon of the calendar year, and a lot has come to the surface. Information has been shared, exchanged, and completely altered our perceptions. Gemini is about flexibility, adaptability, and integration. Here, we take the lessons we have learned and act like the Magician to amalgamate them and turn them into something new as if the experiential wisdom now informs our present reality. Where do we go from here? Gemini says that we have some processing to do.

With this being a Full Moon, there is a call to release. We must release blocks in our minds, limitations in our voices, and information or ideas that no longer serve us. Why be tethered to something when you can expand and float away into new possibilities? Gemini sees the “yes, and” and everything in between. There’s no polarity, just grey area. When we let go of preconceived notions and release the expectations of others, we can actually listen to ourselves for the first time. We are begged to listen. So, what do you hear? The words ruminating inside are waiting to escape from your lips like ghosts in the night. You have not just sought truth, but found it. Now it is time to build upon that truth.

The Sun and Moon both find themselves in tight aspects to Mars. The Sun opposes Mars, creating tension and a need to break free from the retrograde acts that have been unfolding since last October. However, with about a month to go in this retrograde cycle, Mars still has some work to do. Luckily, the conjunction of the Moon to Mars will highlight what is left. This feels like an illumination and willingness to see what has remained quiet. The Moon/Mars aspect will swell emotions, but also make us eager to move forward and find solutions in our lives. This is a turning point in the Mars retrograde cycle. Luckily, Saturn has a wide orb of influence on both the Sun and Moon, giving us some groundedness through this lunation. Don’t make haste—instead, move intentionally.

Venus will square Jupiter, bringing big energy to the surface. Venus/Jupiter aspects are pleasurable, bordering hedonistic at times. We could be overzealous or out of touch if we are not careful. The beauty of this aspect, however, is that there can be some beautifully joyous moments that are created. These two benefics know how to make the best out of any situation. Even with a strong Mercurial influence at this lunation, there is still a pull toward our hearts. With this square happening in Mutable signs, adaptability and flexibility are important.

Now that the chapter of this year is coming to a close, we can start to see life in a new way. We can take the gift of Gemini and integrate what we have learned.

We are putting down the sword and grabbing the pen. The fight is over. We rewrite our stories and create new futures to explore. There is a new beginning even after the full moments we feel.

If you have any personal planets in your chart at 12º to 19º, you will feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Especially those with strong Mutable placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

ARIES TO CANCER

Aries & Aries Rising

3rd House | Integration

This Full Moon will fall in your 3rd House, asking you to use your voice and speak up. This is about walking away from overthinking. You deserve to say what is on your mind as much as anyone else.

This Full Moon can have you reaching a culmination on a writing project or looking to connect with friends, siblings, and those you are closer with. You are learning through interactions and taking time to siphon through information and what other people are saying to you. What is for you and what isn’t? You are being asked to be adaptable, but there is still something about owning your own truth. You may be asked to have a conversation that feels more difficult. If so, finding the words will be much easier for you. Additionally, this is a great Full Moon for recognizing how you have been changing your perspective. Growth comes through learning and integrating. The people that you have around you are showing you possibilities. They are teaching you how to see things in a new way.

But most importantly, they are showing you that your voice matters. Your words hold power. So say what you need to say — within reason.

The Moon and Mars will meet at this lunation in your 3rd House marking the turning point in the Mars Rx. This has you reworking or reconsidering conversations, ideas, or thoughts you have been having for the past few months. Perhaps now is a time to reapproach an old problem with new solutions and perspectives. The Moon/Mars conjunction will be all about impulse control. Beware of saying something just to retaliate or be reactionary. On top of this, Mars will try to speed things up — but swiftness does not constitute accuracy. With Mars still retrograde, we benefit from slowing down and being intentional in our dialogue. Some of you may be extremely busy around this time, so pay attention to what you are putting on your plate and what you are saying yes to. Not every engagement, request, or responsibility is necessary.

Use this Full Moon to find power in your voice. Get in touch with those around you and share what is on your mind. Write things down and find ways to deal with the busy life you are surrounded by. Try to quiet those voices in your head that hold you back and seek help for any anxiety you may be taking on or holding. Perspective is everything. You need to see things a little differently in order to get ahead.

2nd House | Resourcefulness

Taurus, now is the time to flex your skills and stand your ground. This Full Moon is perfectly placed in your 2nd House! This will have your mind on income, self-worth, and value. You can work to get yourself in a good position. But be your own advocate.

This Full Moon can bring up conversations or thoughts about resources and finances. Keep in mind that resources aren’t always tied to material goods — this can be your emotional, mental, intanigble resources. If you work for yourself, you could see an influx of clients or resources — but also higher expenses. This lunation is a good one for releasing self-doubt. It is what will stand in the way of your personal potential. You know your talents and your strengths. Use them to your advantage and show people what you are worth. Alternatively, there may be reflections on security coming up for you, too. It may not be so much about what you are earning, but what you own — and how that relates to your perception of your own value. Thus, a light is being shone on what you deserve and how you can treat yourself better. Sometimes, we forget that we do deserve to build security, outside of material security, for ourselves. That in order to actually feel grounded or connected, we have to accept ourselves for who we are.

With Mars so closely linked to this Full Moon, it may feel like a bit of a fight when it comes to self-worth. Mars is retrograde, and this Full Moon marks a turning point in that retrograde. Any issues around financial institutions, resources, value, or self-worth will turn a corner but may require you to take the lead — but this doesn’t mean keep pursuing things the same way. If you have been seeing problems in any of these areas, the mercurial energy of the Moon and Mars may ask for a pivot or flexibility. What are you not seeing as clearly as you should? Are there new ways of thinking about the issues at hand? Know that sometimes our best course of action is to take a minute to pause. This is not a time to be reactionary. Instead, come up with alternative methods or modes of operation. Additionally, decide what is worth your time and what isn’t. Time is the most valuable resource we have, and if something is taking too much of it, reconsider whatever it is and give yourself that time back.

Use this Full Moon to get a handle on your resources, material and otherwise. Figure out how to spend your energy — and on what. See what potential opportunities arise around money and try to network with people to see if newer clients or work can come up. Comb through the things you own and purge what isn’t good for you anymore. Get your finances in order. But above all else, focus on how to call back your power, your self-worth and your potential. You have to let go of what stands in the way of you seeing your true value. You are worthy.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

 1st House | Beginnings

Gemini, there is a Full Moon in your sign! This is important and points to the New Moon we experienced in your sign earlier this year. Think back to what you started around May 30th and how you are reaching a pinnacle now. Maybe something is culminating from that time — maybe the pieces are coming together!

This Full Moon will highlight your needs, desires, motivations, and goals. When was the last time you asked yourself what you wanted? Like, what you really wanted? The theme seems to be allowing yourself to shine and stand in your own strength. You can be recognized for who you are and what you seek to create. The 1st house is about identity, and with a Full Moon here, you may be shedding some skin. You can let go of who you were — in order to make room for who you truly are. This is being unapologetically yourself. Now you are the alchemist. You call the shots. You make the choices. You care deeply about others, and you understand the impacts of your own actions, but sometimes we don’t realize how limiting it can be to ONLY focus on others. If abundance is plural and we choose not to grow — then you may be inhibiting the growth of someone else. This is about you bringing to an end some of the outdated narratives you have written or believe about yourself. This is about changing how you see yourself enough to love yourself a little more. Self-respect.

Mars has been in your sign throwing so much your way in the last few months. This is especially true as Mars is retrograde. This Full Moon will line up with Mars exactly, making this a pinnacle in the retrograde cycle itself. It is time to see yourself differently. Energetically, you could feel a strong stop-and-go. Mars will be wanting to see results, but something is not yet ready to emerge. Pay attention to your health at this time, too. If you have been ignoring your body, your needs, and your desires this will come up now — and likely will manifest physically. Mars and the Moon can also make things feel a bit more urgent or emotive than normal. Try to tame impulses. Additionally, this lunation is great for learning how to deal with anger and allowing yourself to be angry — but doing so in a way that feels constructive and not destructive to you or others. Ask yourself where your anger, grief, and upset are being directed and how you can channel that in a new way. We may be more prone to saying things we don’t mean, so be mindful here.

Use this Full Moon to focus on what you want out of life. See what brings your joy, passion, and happiness. Seek out desires and don’t be afraid to make your needs known. Work on creating more balance in your life and enacting your boundaries. It is important. Instead of carrying the burdens, seek help. You have to release what no longer serves you now — whether that be a person, idea or something else. You are in the spotlight.

Cancer & cancer Rising

12th House | Belief

You are being pulled into a need for rest and relaxation. You have been going nonstop for quite some time, and now you’re being asked to slow things down. The Sun may be in your 6th House, but this Full Moon falls in your 12th House. There are important endings afoot now.

If you are working on a project, you are not quite ready to leap or expose what you’ve been doing, but you see the finish line. You are changing how you approach your spirituality, and your intuition – but also changing how you can let go and find resolution. We may not always have control in our lives over what’s happening, but we can control our reactions and steer things to the outcome we seek. This lunation can mark of a significant ending. It may be the end of a job, a partnership, a habit, or action. But it has made room for something greater. Endings aren’t scary. They are necessary. Right now, you should take time to comb through what you can let go of — so that you don’t take that energy with you into the next phase. That means time to process your emotions.

There may be some urgency that shows up around this lunation — but listen to your body and your heart. Mars Rx will join the Moon, creating a subtle fire in our chests. With this in your 12th House, new information will come to light — perhaps even new motivations. You may see what was once out of view for you. Mars and the Moon in the 12th House speak to repressed emotions. It may be wise to confront what you have been pushing down. The more we turn away from our grief, the more it compounds. On top of this, the closures you have been working on in the last few months may reach a new turning point. This lunation marks the halfway point of the Mars Rx, so it is ok to redirect and reconsider now. Giving yourself grace and leaning into flexibility will only be helpful for you. It is ok to change your mind or re-evaluate where you need to let go more. Lastly, with Mars and the Moon in your 12th, surrender will be a major theme for you. Whatever you’re holding onto too tightly, it is time to loosen that grip. Make peace with lessening the control.

Use this Full Moon to really bring yourself in. Take time to reflect, rest, and create your own peace. Don’t let anyone or anything take that away from you. Focus on what you can receive and what you can release. This lunation is potent for you — finally closing a door, even if it isn’t easy. Some decisions aren’t to be made lightly, but you know in your heart what the outcomes will be. Take care of yourself.

LEO TO SCORPIO

Leo & Leo Rising

11th House | Collaboration

I know you don’t always like to ask for help, but this Full Moon will have people showing up for you left and right! The amount of support you have is uncanny. You are making new friendships and maybe saying goodbye to old ones that aren’t as solid as they used to be.

Take a look at your connections, friendships, network, and even your dreams. Where are you siphoning off your energy, and what is taking up too much space? Are you leaving room for new opportunities, new people, or new ideas? This lunation will bring you back to your dreams, perhaps reigniting a spark. You can make powerful connections with others that push you closer to what you really want out of life. Your mind seems to be on the future and where you are headed overall. If things don’t align with your vision, you don’t have to hold onto them. You can walk away from it. Consider ways you can build a new future with others — and not alone. Community is your backbone. Who do you look to? Where does your community lie?

The Moon and Mars will align tightly at this lunation, making this a turning point in the Mars retrograde cycle we are experiencing. This conjunction points to dynamics that may not be working in your community or perhaps redirections you are making to your long-term goals, visions, or ideas. It may be a wise time to pause for a second and truly consider where you are headed and why. There may be some disagreements with friends/loved ones or conflicts happening externally that need to be addressed, as well. You could feel like you are lacking the support you are craving. A tendency to isolate may come from this unchecked aggravation. However, I urge you to redirect and instead allow this to be a reason to truly seek out people who understand you. This Moon/Mars conjunction is great for reconnecting with friends and people in your network — and ultimately working through any issues with belonging. Don’t be afraid to reach out to those you love and ask for that validation and support you need. There is nothing wrong with this!

Use this Full Moon to call upon your friends and community. Seek help and ask for it when you need it. People will show up for you. Don’t falter in the face of fear or allow anyone to undermine you. Take control of your future and go in the direction of your dreams. Focus on what really matters to you. You create the outcome.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

10th House | Satisfaction

You have been working hard lately. This Full Moon in your 10th House is asking you to reframe your thoughts around your direction in life, your career, and what you want in the end from all of it. Sagittarius Season has been trying to get you to rest up, but the Full Moon will still have your mind on work and your goals.

Right now, this particular lunation brings an ending – not necessarily of your work, but maybe even your attitude surrounding it. What do you want your future to look like? What are your long-term visions? Mars is playing a key role in this Full Moon, showing you that your hard work is not without some major changes. There is a call to relinquish a bit of control in this area of your life as well. By doing this, you can be more ready and willing to expand what your purpose, direction, and work may look like. You are being seen by the right people. You are being heard by those that need to listen to you. Make yourself visible now. This is a call to be noticed.

With Mars conjunct the Moon at this lunation, things will feel more pressing or urgent than normal. Mars is upping the energy and creating false emergencies. Unnecessary tensions may arise now. This lunation and Moon/Mars conjunction is a pivotal point in the Mars retrograde cycle that we are in. It is pointing to a chance to redirect and realign yourself with what you want out of your life. Mars Rx has been diverting your attention in many areas, and this lunation will be a chance to refocus. Perhaps you are not being seen as you desire to be or your career is feeling a bit stagnated. You can make the necessary changes now to impact that! Additionally, this energy is perfect for thinking about what legacy you are leaving behind — no matter how small. What do you want to be known for — even in your inner circle? With time as a resource being highlighted through this retrograde, where is your time going and how can you call some of this back? There may be a need to pull yourself out of the “public” or external world and back into yourself — your private space/sanctuary.

Use this Full Moon to build a bridge for yourself. Focus on your next steps and your direction in life. Allow yourself to shine at work regardless of what others may say. If a job isn’t a good fit, then start looking around for something else. Work with your roots and nourish your foundations. Dismantle the tensions that may arise. Create boundaries with anyone that tries to overstep. This is a pivotal Full Moon for you. Really give yourself space to go after what you want.

Libra & Libra Rising

9th House | Trust

This is not a time to compromise what makes you feel alive. You have worked hard to give yourself more freedom. Now you are asked to rewrite the narratives you had once written in your head. The perception of what is possible may be limited by what you are seeing, and not fully enveloped in what you are believing.

This Full Moon will teach you the value of growth. But growth isn’t always simple. Your 9th House will be shining bright, and this turns your focus to finding new pathways and reaching goals. You may be seeking new adventures and itching to see what lies just beyond the horizon for you. In some ways, you know that change is coming. You can use this Full Moon to also bring your attention to the skills you have gained and the new ones you will, or plan to learn. This is about applying your wisdom. If you are looking to go back to school, this lunation could bring opportunity. If you are simply trying to just expand your horizons in life and branch out, there is space for that, too! Really, the sky is sort of the limit for you — but it requires trust in yourself first.

Interestingly, Mars and the Moon connect so tightly at this Full Moon. Mars is currently retrograde, causing reconsiderations and question marks in your future goals and aspirations. This may be where you are uncertain about where to go next. You could feel stagnant, slow, or even aimless. The meeting point of both Mars and the Moon acts as a halfway point to the retrograde cycle of Mars. This would be an ideal time to pause and ask yourself what you truly crave out of life. There is a call to experience and try something new with the 9th House involved in this transit. If you are adjacent to education, international work, advertising, or publishing, this could slow projects or processes. However, with Mars Rx, it is important to recognize the purpose of “process” in general, i.e. be more present. You may not feel like you are (or something around you is) progressing, but maybe it could be helpful to take a step back and really see how far you have come in the last year, recent months, and even the last few weeks. Perspective shifts are likely with this energy, and it is an invitation for you to seek out new ways of seeing the world around you. Perhaps even recognizing that if you are unsatisfied somewhere, you can create the change you desire most. Be less hard on yourself.

Use this Full Moon to assess the big picture. Where could you use more adventure in your life? You could feel a push and pull to act immediately, give things some time to settle. You will see that you are on the brink of a new journey, one that allows you to take the lead. You can explore new perspectives, educate yourself and seek out more spontaneous experiences. Nothing is perfect, but you can enjoy every moment that is set out before you. No time is wasted when you truly are living.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

8th House | Resurrection

It is time to rely on those you trust intimately. This Full Moon is very healing for you and can bring you close to a partner or friend. Now is a time to share your resources, your fears, your desires, and your motivations. Your 8th House is being activated, so nothing is off-limits.

Who do you trust enough to let in? How can you make room to have that intimate reciprocity in your relationships? The 8th House is one that rarely sees light, but when we have the Sun or a Full Moon in this area, it asks for us to see what’s been hidden. You can make great strides in healing matters, releasing old wounds or past pains, or even in exploring your own sexuality and what brings you true pleasure. This is a very sensitive area of your chart, so you may need to navigate it delicately. In thinking about a close relationship, you have to trust that things are going your way and let go of any control you may feel. The deep connections you make with others are profound and genuinely healing. This area of your chart also rules money outside of income. Perhaps your partner is taking on a new job that boosts your spending/earning potential overall in the relationship. Or maybe, you receive some sort of loan or assistance. You could possibly even pay down a debt that has been looming over you. There is a call to get deep and reflect on your path up until this point. The 8th House points to cycles. What cycles are we perpetuating and which need to be rewritten?

Mars and the Moon join hands at this lunation, making the energy of this Full Moon more present. Mars is currently retrograde, causing you to slow down and reflect a bit in the shadow. There may be lingering past experiences that still have a hold on you, and this transit would be a good time to confront those. Intimacy, sexuality, and vulnerability will all be in question — who can you open up to? How can you show yourself more authentically? Do fears of rejection or being harmed keep you from being vulnerable? As Mars churns through the 8th House, it can feel a lot like active healing. What steps are you taking to repattern and address old grievances? It can be a great opportunity for you to find an internal resolution to ongoing conflicts or “indebtedness” you may feel. Additionally, Mars and the Moon can add a dose of magic and power, maybe even a chance for you to call back your own power. The beauty of these two energies can be in how you embody and embrace your power. Since 8th House transits can feel hidden, the actions and implications of those actions may not be fully recognized for some time. Not all results are immediate — a great lesson from this retrograde cycle.

Use this Full Moon to break bad habits. Shine a light on the shadows in your life and face your fears. Open up about things more intimately with people you trust and allow others to support you more deeply. Reframe your financial picture and focus on ways to alleviate a scarcity mindset. Even as the material resources may ebb and flow, there will be plenty of opportunity for a fresh start. Reclaim your power. This is only the beginning.

SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

7th House | Resolution

There have been major shifts in your autonomy and identity — as well as your relationships and your boundaries. We end the year on a lunation that lights up your relationships and the others in your life. This is aptly timed since we just had a New Moon in your sign a few weeks prior.

Life is about a give and take, oftentimes we may give more than we receive. This can create an imbalance, whether or not you realize it. So, take a minute and really reflect on the word “receptivity”. What does this mean to you? The Full Moon on the 7th brings awareness and light to your 7th House. Here, a partnership, relationship, union, or important person is coming into strong focus. Now consider for some of you this is more business related than personal. You may be reckoning your boundaries and your space with this other person or entity. Have you been giving too much? Are things off-kilter? What needs to be addressed? This Full Moon puts so much emphasis on others that you may need to step outside of yourself to see what is really happening. Perspective is going to be important. If you need guidance, seek the advice of someone you trust to give you what you need to hear. Now is the time to allow yourself to rely on someone for help. By cultivating strength in your partnerships, you build deeper trust and share the weight of responsibilities. Nothing should ever be one-sided.

The Moon and Mars will be tightly conjunct at this Full Moon, marking a turning point in the Mars Rx cycle. You have been particularly hit by this retrograde as it has opposed your Sagittarius placements and pulled you between being overactive and super passive. There can be a tendency to react impulsively with this energy vs being intentional. So, mindfulness can go a long way. However, it isn’t all you. With Mars in your 7th or in your polarity, some of the aggravations or issues you may be facing are external or outside of your control. So through this retrograde, the question then becomes: how do you move on from the conflicts that arise? When you can’t control the other party’s reactions or actions, how do you find solace or peace in yourself or the situation? Alternatively, with Mars and the Moon sitting so close in your opposite sign, it may be time to have those conversations that have been put off. Secrets may come out and new insights could come to light. Certain conversations can be uncomfortable, but the way you approach the dialogue will make all the difference. Lastly, with Mars opposed to your Sag energy, watch for lowered energy levels and burnout. You could be expending too much outwardly and not conserving enough.

Use this Full Moon to focus on the others in your life. Figure out the dynamic and how you show up to your relationships — and how the other people show up for you, too. This is all about the two-way street. You could have to make decisions or find a conclusion. Create boundaries where necessary and allow for the right relationships to flourish for you. You are on the brink of so much change.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

6th House | Process

Knowing your limits can be important. Over the last few weeks and even beyond, you have been tasked with closing doors, learning to be better to your body, and focusing on the things in your immediate environment. This season has been teaching you the value of your needs and knowing the difference between service/sacrifice. We can’t save everyone, or really anyone, other than ourselves.

The Full Moon will be bright in your 6th House, where your health, daily routines and even work will come into play. You are being faced with ways to reschedule your life and create better rituals and regimens. If you have been dealing with health issues, this is not a time to sweep that under the rug. You will have to face the facts and get the answers you need. Some of you could be trying to get healthier or just find the balance between work and life. You will be busier than normal around this Full Moon, so care for yourself. If people try to overstep your boundaries, you have the power to let them know. Your workplace will likely be going through changes — try not to internalize them or bite off more than you can chew. If you work for yourself (or don’t), consider how much you can realistically take on right now.

With Mars so closely linked to this Full Moon, we are reminded of the ways that we have to fight to maintain a balance in our lives. This is a turning point in the Mars retrograde cycle that we are in. This would be an ideal time to redirect your energy and how you care for yourself. Trying out a new routine, a form of body movement or a nutritional regime can be helpful. Even going back to something that you have done before may be great, as well. With Mars Rx, watch your health in general. Your energy levels will ebb and flow, and your natural immunity defenses may not be as high. Ensure you get the proper care and appointments you need. With this, from a more traditional perspective, accidents, broken bones, burns, and cuts can be likely. So just go slow. On a work front, there may need to be a reconsideration of the responsibilities you are taking on. Some projects are going to move slower than others, while others may be too demanding. Reallocate how and where you are spending your time on these things. Workplace tensions can rise, as well. This is all temporary. Coworkers can have a shorter fuse — or maybe your tolerance isn’t as high. Just be mindful of how you approach those around you. Redirect that pent-up aggravation and channel it into something more constructive for yourself. You may not have control over others, but you can control your reactions.

Use this Full Moon to focus on your health and body. Take control of the details and mind the little things. Create better boundaries with work and cultivate a work/life balance. Seek a job change or shift in responsibilities if you are not happy with what you are doing. Find new clients if you work for yourself and implement a better way to be of service to your needs first.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

5th House | Confidence

To see the power in change as a potential new beginning shifts our mindset. For you, this is about the shifts in your own perception of your happiness and reinstating more confidence into your life. You need to see how truly valuable you are. You create all you desire.

We see the Full Moon shine a light on your 5th House, a place of creativity, conception, expression, love, and children. This is an area of joy and pleasure. So, what makes you happy? You could be reflecting on how to bring more fun into your life and opening yourself up to new adventures. You feel ready now. However, this means repairing the relationship you have with your self-image. Why shy away from the spotlight? You deserve space as much as anyone else. To allow yourself to be seen is to be proud of who you are. Don’t hide for the sake of someone else’s perceptions. Own every facet of your being. If you are looking to conceive an idea, a project, a child, or a relationship, let this Full Moon help you. It takes a level of risk to make it happen, but what do you have to lose? Unapologetically own your creativity and find what fuels you. You have to share your passions and show love to those you care about. In doing this, you receive it back tenfold. You create your own happiness. You are becoming more aware of your ability to manifest your desires into reality.

Mars and the Moon will be conjunct at this lunation, marking a turning point in the Mars retrograde cycle. This will have you reconsidering what does make you happy. Where do you feel burdened in the pursuit of pleasure? How can you change this narrative or lighten the responsibilities? Sometimes we feel we need to do more in order to be seen or validated as a good person, but it comes at the expense of our personal joy. Learning to prioritize your needs can be helpful. On the creative front, you may be feeling a bit stuck but this conjunction can help shake you out of that. You may need to approach any problem in your life from a new perspective — and take some risks in the process. Since the 5th House is being so dominated at this lunation, children will factor strongly — this includes child you. There may be a lot of feelings coming up around how your inner child needs some attention. We learn from children what it means to truly live, pursue desires, and how to invite more play into our lives. For those that have children, there may be some moments that test your patience with them now, yet you can truly redirect the energy into something that can bring you both closer together. In general when in any conflict, it may be good to ask yourself “what would child me need in this situation”? Then, approach it with that same level of compassion and understanding.

Use this Full Moon to play, create and get in touch with your inner child. Repair the relationship with your self-image and feel more confident in how you express yourself. Open your heart up and show people what you are made of. Take new risks and really put yourself out there. This is a time to be seen and take up room like you never have before. You are worthy of this.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

4th House | Solace

If you have been feeling a little withdrawn lately, that is ok. Go with it. It seems that there has been so much emphasis on your work, career, and life direction, that it may be time to come home and tend to yourself in some way. Rest is imperative. It is necessary. Have you been allowing yourself to slow down? This Full Moon will bring a period for you to refocus your energy.

Your 4th House is being lit up at this Full Moon, where you see changes in your family and home. There can be dynamics that alter. Perhaps even a reconciliation of sorts.

Safety will be a big theme for you and has been for the last few months. Mars has been retrograde in your 4th House, helping you re-evaluate where you find safety and helping you reconsider what you consider to be home — and who you consider to be family to you. The Moon will align with Mars at this lunation, marking a turning point in the Mars Rx. Issues, arguments, and problems related to family or home will require a change in perspective. Tensions can run high around this Full Moon, so watch your reactions. You may feel like there is so much activity or aggravation around you, but don’t feed into it. Mars retrograde will ask that you call back your energy and use it to incubate yourself. This is not a time to expend it outward. Additionally, home-related projects may be moving slowly or almost halted. The Moon/Mars conjunction may create a false sense of urgency to get things going. Try not to force something. Instead, use this time to reconsider what you had planned and figure out if you can reprioritize your projects or resources in this matter. On top of this, these transits point to finding a grounding force in the face of closure or endings in your life. The 4th House is at the bottom of your chart, and deals with the past and bringing something to a close. By living in the past, we don’t leave room for our present or future. Mars will have you work through repressed emotions and memories that may plague you. Now is the time to resolve the ongoing internal conflicts you carry.

Use this Full Moon to bring it all back home. Spend time with your family (given or chosen). Redecorate or reorganize your home. Prepare yourself for a move or a change in the home/family front. Focus on your emotional well-being and tend to places where you feel more vulnerable. Create stability in the quiet and make time for personal reflection. You can redefine your peace. Carve out space for you to process how you feel. Your foundations are changing.
