Aries Full Moon Miniscopes
Aries Full
Moon Miniscopes
Reignite The Fire.
The Full Moon is in Aries 6º on September 29th at 5:57 AM ET. New and Full Moons carry themes from one to the other within every astrological season and beyond. They play on what the other is saying and work in tandem to create an overarching story. This Full Moon in Aries continues the conversation from 6 months earlier during the New Moons in Aries we had on March 21st and again on April 19th. The viewpoint is more direct and less passive. We have now experienced the direct motion of Mercury and Venus over the last few weeks as we see some of the retrogrades of the season coming to a close. What was internalized now comes out into the open. There is less reflection – and more action.
This is perfectly timed, as we are looking to the expanded story of Libra Season. We have established our bonds... But who are we within those unions? The Aries energy of this Full Moon requires us to know where we as individuals end, and another begins. We must not only see how we fit together but what drives us individually. A relationship requires two individuals to come together to work toward a common goal. Thus, we maintain autonomy in the process, but we don’t stop supporting each other. We are now asked to see what lights our fires and brings passion into our lives.
Mars is the leader of this Full Moon, and it finds itself in an important position. Mars is forming a sextile to Venus, making creating a beautiful harmony between these cosmic lovers. There is a sense of aligning our values and our morals with our intended actions. Simultaneously, Mars will closing in on a conjunction to the South Node, speaking to a habit that needs to end. Perhaps we are in a space where we desire closure or to move on from what was as we navigate uncharted territory. Sometimes, letting go can be freeing and motivating. Mars is at the degree that the Libra Eclipse will be at on October 14th. Whatever we see occur now will play out in a bigger way then or find a resolution. Mars loves seeing things completed and paving new pathways. The Libra Eclipse in a few weeks will do just that for us.
Venus and Mercury have some power over this Full Moon. Venus has been dancing back through Leo and is now applying its last square to Uranus. This square has dominated much of the Venus in Leo transit, bringing unexpected elements to the last few months. We may feel pulled in a few directions now, but Mercury swoops in to help and stabilize this square. Mercury will trine Uranus for the last time, redirecting the electricity of the planet into new insights and inspiration. Its influence is one that bridges the gaps and helps us recognize what the Venus and Mercury retrogrades were about in totality. In some ways, this is a hero’s journey, and the understanding of our growth on that journey.
Direction is the word I would put on this Full Moon. With the Moon’s transit through Aries, we are asked to find our next steps, our next direction. If we are feeling stuck, uneasy, or uncertain, making moves will create the change of pace that we may seek. Some things are worth fighting for, and Aries never backs down from a challenge.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 1º to 11º, you will feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Especially those with strong Cardinal placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

Aries & Aries Rising
1st House | Momentum
We are bringing something to the culmination for you, Aries. Think back to April at the New Moon in your sign. What did you promise to yourself? What were your goals and motivations? Now you are being confronted with the same energy, but this time instead of sewing seeds, you are asked to release. This Full Moon illuminates your 1st House of self and identity, a place you know all too well. You may have to reckon with yourself, your motives, and your desires. This isn’t always easy to do.
This Full Moon is important as it marks a time when you can reinvent yourself if you would like. This is all about what you want in life and doing what makes you happy! This is about rejuvenation, reclamation, and recognition! The light is shining brilliantly on you. This is about not just telling people who you are — but also showing them. The Full Moon you have been waiting for is here! This is all about you and your desires, wants, needs, and aspirations. Generally, only one Full Moon occurs in your sign a year. So, remember that this is an important lunation for you. Truly, whatever you want to start or get off the ground can be done!
Mars leads this lunation from your 7th House where it will work well with Venus and sit close to the South Node. In general, you may find that Mars and Venus create a playful vibe at this lunation for you. These two will be speaking to one another from two of the most romantic areas of your chart. Yet, it can also increase your creative energy. Additionally, there may be compromises afoot for you, or maybe you need to ask for compromise if you feel it has been eluding you. The Mars/South Node conjunct speaks to letting go of old patterns in relationships in your life. Perhaps there have been too many unspoken expectations. Luckily, Venus will support this and help you find the diplomacy to talk about what may need changing in those close relationships in your life.
Mercury will be finishing up its transit through Virgo in the next few days. This will bring back up conversations and ideas from the recent retrograde and reinspire you. It will fall in your 6th House, helping you find resolve or resolution in a work matter, project, or health matter. Mercury will trine Uranus in your 2nd House — so you could have access to an unexpected resource or receive a client/project that is quite lucrative for you.
Use this Full Moon to focus on what you want out of life. See what brings you joy, passion, and happiness. Seek out desires and don’t be afraid to make your needs known. Work on creating more balance in your life and enacting your boundaries. It is important. Instead of carrying the burdens, seek help. You have to release what no longer serves you now — whether that be a person, idea or something else. You are in the spotlight.
Taurus & Taurus Rising
12th House | Serenity
You are itching for peace and a slower pace now. You have been working so hard the last few weeks — and Mercury retrograde has thrown a lot of wrenches into the mix. You might have felt like you were not able to catch a break in some ways. A demanding schedule for you, or anyone, can be taxing. However, this Full Moon invites you to find more serenity in your life. Sometimes, peace is created, not found. Your 12th House is being highlighted as a place of quiet and rest. You may feel a little run down or like you need some time away. Listen to your body. Because Full Moons signal release, you may be asked to close a door or let something go, as well. This isn’t always easy for you, but you know you will be better off if you do.
You are finally given an opportunity to come to terms with all of the shifts, changes, losses, and evolutions. The 12th House is a place of processing: emotionally, spiritually, and karmically. You are abandoning the old, outdated, and time-sucking parts of your life. In their space, you are welcoming more room for rest, understanding, and grace. You could be reconnecting with yourself on a spiritual level or maybe just working on something behind the scenes that you are not quite ready to share with anyone yet. That is ok. Revel in your secret and hold it close for now.
Mars will lead this Full Moon from your 6th House, and brings motivation and energy into your daily life. Mars will work well with your ruler, Venus, who adds tenderness. There’s some joy and familial peace coming through in your home life now. Perhaps you are finally getting around to some of the projects you’ve been meaning to do. Alternatively, you could see the finishing of a renovation or some sort of shift in your domestic routines! Whatever it is, this sextile between Mars and Venus is quite sweet. On the other side of this, Mars is sitting close to the South Node. It is creating a turning point in a health or work-related matter. You may be kicking a habit that isn’t good for you or trying to find the balance in your productivity. This seems to have been building for a while now. This is all about enacting a change that is for the better. Don’t hold onto situations or ways of being that hold you back.
Mercury will be direct motion, moving back toward a trine to Uranus in your sign. You can integrate what you’ve learned through the retrograde and embody your joy, creativity, and peace. Mercury wants to make sure that you are prioritizing your happiness. The Uranus trine is giving you a chance to see things differently and to be open to experimental moments and spontaneity. You are reminded of possibility, the goals you have, and the ways in which you want to grow. Perhaps being gentle with yourself is a good start. This would be an ideal time to have conversations that are insightful and allow you space to express yourself fully.
Use this Full Moon to really bring yourself in. Take time to reflect, rest, and create your peace. Don’t let anyone or anything take that away from you. Focus on what you can receive and what you can release. This lunation is potent for you — finally closing a door, even if it isn’t easy. Some decisions aren’t to be made lightly, but you know in your heart what the outcomes will be. Take care of yourself.

11th House | Network
In some ways, you want to be where the people are…but only certain people. You may have been biting off more than you can chew in some ways, but also really moving with your creative motivations. This is a catch 22! However, now you are really seeking some connection with those you consider to be your friends or even in your community. You may even be readjusting what your community is made of. You are in a period of growth. This Full Moon comes to light up your 11th House and reminds you of the people you have in your corner. But not everyone is as friendly as they may seem…consider you may have outgrown some friends and that is ok.
This could be a busier time of year for you, as people are excited to reach out and connect with you. Keep your schedule clear for unexpected invitations that may pop up! This Full Moon settles beautifully in your 11th House, and your mind will be on those you surround yourself with and perhaps even your big picture dreams. You are now in a pivotal place to make present changes that impact your future in the long term.
Mars will be the leader of this Full Moon from your 5th House. You could be feeling playful, romantic, and find yourself creatively heightened. This will definitely be an inspiring time for you. Especially as Venus sextiles the Red Planet from your 3rd House. It seems that there are no shortages of new ideas. You could have some stimulating conversations now and receive helpful insights, as well. Additionally, Mars will be conjunct the South Node around this time, meaning that there is some repatterning happening now. You may find yourself needing to relinquish expectations around what you desire or want. This doesn’t mean you have to let it go completely, just adjust. You may find yourself also looking at the rules or ways of doing things in the past. If these self-imposed rules create burdens on your joy, then it may be time to rewrite them.
Mercury, your ruler, will be direct and soon moving into fellow Air Sign, Libra. However, we still have a few more days of its time in Virgo. This will help you find some clarity around a home or family-related matter. It gifts you the power of decision-making, finding creative solutions, and adding insight. It trines Uranus, turning you toward some self-incubation. This is a time of spiritual exploration and journeying beyond the thresholds that sit before you. You could pick up a new wellness practice, revisit things that used to inspire you, and/or deepen your relationship with your own intuition. Uranus may gift you a sudden stroke of genius that blossoms further in the coming weeks and months.
Use this Full Moon to call upon your friends and community. Seek help and ask for it when you need it. People will show up for you. Don’t falter in the face of fear or allow anyone to undermine you. Take control of your future and go in the direction of your dreams. Focus on what really matters to you. You create the outcome.

10th House | Elevation
Oh Cancer, another Full Moon, another moment of swelling emotions. It is no secret that you are very impacted by our sweet lunar satellite more than most. Full Moons are a time of heightening for you, and sometimes it is best to pause and reflect. However, this Full Moon lights up the pinnacle of your chart in your 10th House. Your attention may be pulled to your career or your work in some way. You may be getting recognition, asked to take the lead or even a promotion. On the flip side, you may just be dealing with a demanding work schedule or even saying goodbye to your current place of employment. Whatever it is, it seems that there may be some focus here.
You are getting noticed by those in higher positions, and they see the work you are doing — and you are impressing them. Watch how you carry yourself and how much you take on, because it seems that you will be given more responsibility soon. Promotions, job changes, or even career advancements are likely to happen soon. You could start a big project that will change where you are headed in your work overall. Additionally, this could be an opportunity for you to redefine what success means to you! Maybe something isn’t lining up, and you are being asked to refresh, restart, or reorganize. You could also be grappling with visibility and what it means to be seen as you are and for the efforts you put out into the world. Recognition is great, but learning to accept it is a whole other ball game.
Mars rules this Full Moon and is moving through your 4th House. There is a ton of motivation at home right now. You could be working on renovations, redecorations, and/or small domestic projects. Mars usually indicates more than just some light touch-ups and points more toward demolition or (re)construction. With Venus in a beautiful angle to Mars in your 2nd House, you could get the right price or estimate to be helpful. On the other hand, it may be that a bonus or resource kicks in to make the changes to your home more possible. Given the 2nd and 4th House being active, if you are trying to move, sell, or buy a place, you are supported! There may need to be some reconsideration on what you want though. Mars and the South Node align, asking you to be less rigid about your expectations in order to move forward. You may need to stop playing it safe or expand beyond what you comfort zone. This is where you will find exactly what you need! Try something different or look in unexpected places — especially with Uranus so prevalent at this Full Moon.
Mercury is finally direct and is finishing its time in your 3rd House. There is a sense of closure or completion to a writing project, teaching/course, or even a small project you have been on. Conversations started at the end of July through August will be moved through now. Possible renegotiations or reconnections are likely. If an email was lost, it will be found. Pay attention to whom you speak with and the relationships you form. They will be important. Mercury trines Uranus, bringing in an unexpected contact, friend, or person into your sphere of influence. This will be inspiring and kinetic. On top of this, conversations will be very enlightening. Don’t be afraid to share your ideas. The right people will hear them.
Use this Full Moon to build a bridge for yourself. Focus on your next steps and your direction in life. Allow yourself to shine at work regardless of what others may say. If a job isn’t a good fit, then start looking around for something else. Work with your roots and nourish your foundations. Get intimate with your partner and dismantle the tensions that may arise. Create boundaries with anyone who tries to overstep. This is a pivotal Full Moon for you. Really give yourself space to go after what you want.
LEO TO SCORPIO
Leo & Leo Rising
9th House | Growth
You have been tested the last few months. It seems in some ways you may have been feeling stagnant, but now is a time for growth and opportunity. Libra Season has been teaching you the value of your voice, and this Full Moon will teach you the value of growth. But growth isn’t always simple. Your 9th House will be shining bright, and this turns your focus to finding new pathways and reaching goals. You may be seeking new adventures and itching to see what lies just beyond the horizon for you. In some ways, you know that change is coming.
You can use this Full Moon to also bring your attention to the skills you have gained and the new ones you will, or plan to learn. This is about applying your wisdom. It comes at a perfect time to remind you that anything is possible if you are willing to try. In life, certain risks need to be taken occasionally — and now you are given a chance to take those risks. This lunation will put education, travel, growth, spirituality, philosophy, and big-picture thinking as the central components in your life. You can no longer concern yourself with what was or who is. You have to ignore what others are trying to do and remain focused on the goal. What are you working toward? What are you dreaming of? Take the world by storm by taking that leap of faith. Reimagine what possibilities lie ahead of you.
Mars rules this lunation and sits in your 3rd House, making your life feel more social than it has lately — or at least just busier than normal. You could be looking at a packed calendar and travelling more frequently, as well. Mars speeds things up, so it can be hard to catch your breath now. Luckily, Venus in your sign, is quite helpful. So there can be moments of joy and pleasure in the process. You are finding more clarity coming out of the Venus retrograde period, especially as we prepare for Venus to finally leave Leo. You may be looking at a new sense of self-worth and confidence and ready to embrace them! On top of this, Mars is joining the South Node around this Full Moon. It is asking that you revisit old contracts, locations, and ideas that you may have left sitting on the back burner. You may be rehashing old conversations, but this time with the intention of getting new/different results. Pay attention to what you hear and see now, as this will prove to be pivotal for you in the coming weeks.
Mercury will continue conversations around resources, finances, and worth that were started months ago when it entered Virgo. You could be up for a raise or a promotion or may be looking at renegotiating what resources are available to you. It seems that you may have to advocate for yourself to get what you want. But luckily, your work speaks for itself. Mercury trines Uranus from your 10th House. Recent projects and tasks have put you in the limelight. You are being recognized and witnessed for your hard work and your efforts. Use this as leverage for whatever it is that you want to cultivate. If you are looking for work, to freelance, or to change your financial situation, this energy will help you immensely!
Use this Full Moon to start seeing possibilities that may lie elsewhere. Remove the limitations by removing yourself from those situations. Start finding alternative pathways and know they still lead to the goals you want to achieve. The stagnation you feel will be lifting. It is time to clear the blocks that stand in front of you.
Virgo & Virgo Rising
8th House | Healing
Oh Virgo, this is a busy Libra Season, it seems that you are ready to take it easy and seek out a small break. You have been so focused on everything you have been building and the accumulation of all of your efforts, now it is time to share what you’ve been given and relish in your hard work. This Full Moon highlights your 8th House, and you are being reminded that some things are best when they are shared with someone more intimately. You are being shown the truth that lies beneath the surface and asked to expose the vulnerability that lies below. Sometimes, in order to get closer to what we want or who we care about, we have to be willing to pull back some layers.
You are willing to confront the fears that keep you from growing. You may be more willing to seek counsel. That idea of transformation comes through your ability to embrace what you may have long ignored. Now, you can’t unsee things. You are finding your power within and your own innate form of magic. You could be exploring your inherited traits from family or past experiences. You are unpacking and sifting through it all. This comes as a way to help you with reconciliation. You are making peace with what was. Lastly, you could be told to share more — share your resources, yourself, and your vulnerabilities. The 8th House has a financial component, so you could also be reflecting on your value or the debts you have. There may be a relief coming soon.
With Mars as the leader of this Full Moon in your 2nd House, you are feeling very motivated to change your relationship with your resources. You may have been spending more than normal or feeling less confident in yourself. Mars will help you out here! Especially as it works well with Venus in your 12th House. Maybe it is time to reconsider what you value and find worth in things that aren’t so tangible. Venus has been helping you hone in on your spiritual well-being and welcoming more rest into your life. I feel the Venus/Mars sextile is all about productivity/rest balance. This is even more true as Mars moves toward a conjunction to the South Node. This will ask that you let go of outdated ideas, values, or attachments to resources that don’t support you. In order to grow, we have to be willing to release at times. You may need to have a change of heart when it comes to what makes you feel worthy.
Mercury, your ruler, will be finishing its time in your sign. It has been giving you the information you need to make the necessary changes in your life. You are now embodying some of what the retrograde period highlighted for you. It is time to take control of your desires and do what makes you happy. Mercury will trine Uranus in your 9th House, bringing spontaneity and excitement into your life. You could be feeling more ready to take a leap of faith or focus on a new pathway. You may also be gearing up for a trip or experience, which will prove to be life-changing in some ways! This trine is quite wonderful and will bring unexpected joy around every corner! Get ready to receive new opportunities!
Use this Full Moon to work on yourself and your inner world. Focus on your healing and the ways in which you can get intimate with those you love and trust. Open yourself up to new areas for resources and be willing to share and receive what is available. Mercury, your ruler, is now direct and finishing its time in your sign. Take time to learn, adapt, and integrate now.

7th House | Receptivity
Life is about give and take, and no one knows that better than you. However, oftentimes you are one that may give more than they receive. This can create an imbalance, whether or not you realize it. So, take a minute and really reflect on the word “receptivity”. What does this mean to you? The Full Moon brings awareness and light to your 7th House, your natural “home” in astrology. Here, a partnership, relationship, union or important person is coming into strong focus. Now consider for some of you this is more business related than personal.
You may be reckoning your boundaries and your space with this other person or entity. Have you been giving too much? Are things off kilter? What needs to be addressed? This Full Moon puts so much emphasis on others that you may need to step outside of yourself to see what is really happening. Perspective is going to be important. The positive is that this Full Moon can really connect you more deeply in your partnerships and help you really establish important bonds. It will highlight who is there for and with you, and how to really strengthen the relationships you have.
Mars rules this lunation and sits in your 1st House. It has been inspiring and motivating you as it has been transiting this area of your chart. You could be feeling more energized than normal or looking to call back your energy, too. With Mars in good relation to Venus, your ruler, at this lunation, you could find that you are quite busy or social right now. Venus sits in your 11th House, bringing up friends and community. You have a lot of support. You could also be looking more future-forward, trying to consider your next steps. It seems that this sextile between Mars and Venus will be quite helpful. However, it will come with a need to let go of expectations or old ways of doing things. Especially as Mars is conjunct the South Node. This is an ideal time to release self-sabotaging tendencies or anything that may stand in your way.
Mercury will be finishing up its time in your 12th House as it is now direct. It brings back up information, dialogue, and ideas from the last few weeks and months. Now is the time to put something to rest, so that you can find a resolution. You may be seeking closure or obtaining additional information that was lacking beforehand. Mercury will trine Uranus from your 8th House, so you could receive an unexpected resource or gift around this time. Perhaps, since it is your birthday season, you may be shown more love or admiration than usual! Uranus will be a wildcard, but a good one at that!
Use this Full Moon to evaluate your relationships and focus on how much energy is putting into yourself or others. If it is imbalanced, it is time to restore it all to equilibrium. Uranus is pulling you into your 8th House, a call to allow yourself to receive and get intimate. It seems that relationships are more fruitful than they have been in a long time.
Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
6th House | Regimen
When life feels a little chaotic, it is time to call yourself back a bit. A little order can do your soul some good, probably more than you realize. It seems that you are trying to get a handle on the “busyness.” Do you need to be as busy as you are? Do you need to reevaluate your routines? This Full Moon shines a light on your 6th House, where we focus on our health, regimens, and daily life.
Maybe you have been quietly waiting for something to give. The changes you make and the refinement you undergo will inevitably shift, grow, and evolve. So, don’t get too rigid or stuck on something. It seems that taking on too much can have a negative impact on you—if you don’t figure out how to manage everything on your plate (or even ask for a little help). You may not have been as good to your body as you would like to be, and now you are being faced with the repercussions. You need to recenter a bit. You could be looking to make updates to your job, impact your lifestyle habits, or shake up the monotony. Pets can come to focus, as can the mundane aspects of the everyday. This is all about being grounded in what is happening in the present.
Mars, your traditional ruler, leads this lunation. It sits in your 12th House pulling you into a quiet space. You may be working hard behind the scenes or finishing something up. Mars will give you the gusto you need. Alternatively, you could just be focusing more on your rest. Venus will positively connect with Mars in your 10th, so even as you seek some rest, you will be naturally pushed into the spotlight a bit more. However, some of this is welcomed. It seems you are receiving some long-overdue recognition. Additionally, you may also be seeing a bigger project or work-related matter coming to a close, that could lead you into something else! Whatever it is, it does feel like work/life balance should be top of mind. This is especially true as Mars joins the South Node around this time. You are asked to be guided by your intuition and know when closure is and should be possible. More responsibility isn’t going to bring the fulfillment you desire.
Mercury will finish its transit in your 11th House. It will reconnect with friends and people in your community. You may be resolving some issues from the retrograde or just seeing some loved ones you have not seen in a while. Mercury will trine Uranus from your 7th House suggesting that an influential connection may come through for you. You could find yourself in the right place at the right time. Perhaps a partner or close relationship is filling your cup. Dialogue is very inspiring and friendships are electrifying. You could take on a role as a coordinator or leader in some project, event, or connection.
Use this Full Moon to focus on your schedule, routines, and daily life. Try to rearrange things to make it work for you. Don’t be afraid to state your needs and listen to your body more. Get back on track by caring for yourself, and try not to overextend by doing too much. Know your limits.

5th House | Passion
Passion leads to adventure. It seems you have been coming back to find what brings you joy and what you love. This is very important, as you may have lost your way in the last few weeks, months, or even years. However, you are getting your groove back and that is very apparent. This Full Moon comes to shine a light on your 5th House, and creativity is abundant now. You are called to see what sits right in front of you in this present moment. This isn’t about tomorrow or yesterday— just today. This can be hard for you, as you are a visionary. But slowing down and seeing what is here and now can actually inspire you.
The 5th House rules creativity, conception, children, expression, love, and happiness. These areas will be highlighted. You are being called back to your passions and what drives you. You may be at a creative high, and you should follow that energy. However, you may also be doubting yourself a bit. Sometimes finding your way back to what you love isn’t easy. It takes courage and heart to make it there. You need to come back to how you can honor your inner child. You have been holding onto too much lately. Let loose, let go, and let the good times roll in!
Mars rules this Full Moon and sits in your 11th House. This has been keeping you busy with social engagements and plans of the future. You be really motivated to make changes or more willing to welcome a different vision of what the next few years could look like. Perhaps support and community are a bigger piece of that vision. Venus will be supportive to Mars as it sits in your 9th House. You could be looking to join a club or a cause, maybe take a class, or even take a trip with a few friends or loved ones. If you do, it will spark a lot of inspiration and joy for you. It may be what you need to get your “mojo” back. You could also be feeling like you need to take a risk on something, know that people have your back. However, there may be a person or community member that is creating a little tension. Mars will join the South Node, so you may have some expectations that need to change surrounding friendships. This isn’t always a bad thing, but it is an adjustment. Alternatively, it could be that in the process of thinking about your long-term plans, something has to give. Make room for opportunities.
Mercury will finish its time in your 10th House. You have been busy and (re)working a lot of your projects or ideas. Now, Mercury will help you tie things up. You could finally get that recognition or payoff. Mercury trines Uranus in your 6th House, so there seems to be changes in your work life. It seems that promotion, raise, new client, or culmination of some sort is here. Alternatively, you could be really advocating for yourself. Whatever it is, you will be busy and there may be some new objectives ahead of you. However, you feel excited at the prospects and recognition.
Use this Full Moon to open yourself creatively. Follow your passions and listen to your heart. Go with what sets your soul ablaze and don’t let anyone stop you. Give voice to your happiness and your joy. You can take up space, and it doesn’t mean that someone else doesn’t get their share, too. Your heart is your guiding force. Where will it lead you?

4th House | Foundation
If you have been feeling a little withdrawn lately, that is ok. Go with it. It seems that there has been so much emphasis on your work, career, and life direction — that it may be time to come home and tend to yourself in some way. This Full Moon falls in your 4th House at the bottom of your chart, and you are in need of some TLC. You definitely have a very “work” mentality, but resting can be equally as important. After a busy time of year, you can call it all inward. You may be connecting with family, doing a little redecorating, moving, or working with your ancestors.
This Full Moon is perfect for all things domestic and getting organized on the homefront. Some of you may be doing work around homes and properties: buying, selling, renting, redecorating, etc. Renovations or quick negotiations are likely. In addition, you could also have your attention on family matters. It seems that you are really getting back to your roots in many ways. You may be focusing on what matters to you and trying to create a better work/life balance.
Mars will lead this lunation from your 10th House, so work is still pushing out projects. However, this is all about managing your expectations and theirs. You could find that you have made some big changes or taken risks in your career, and now they will begin to pay off. This is especially true as Venus supports Mars at this lunation. If you took on a new role, the benefits may be better or have a different structure. If are you in the same role (or not), there could be additional resources that open up for you as well maybe as a bonus, gift, inheritance, etc. Perhaps even your partner receiving an unexpected or positive shift to their resources, too. This could also be a great time to pay down debts and change your financial picture. With Mars conjunct the South Node, this may also require changing how you’ve approached this subject in the past. You may need to have a redirection. If there has been some staleness in a relationship, maybe bringing in more intimacy may help.
Mercury will finish its time in your 9th House, asking that you let yourself dream and envision a bit more. It brings up ideas, thoughts, and goals that you have been reconsidering lately. It is time to turn those aspirations into something you want to attain! Mercury will trine Uranus, asking that you remind yourself of possibility and passion. You can embody the adventurous side of you and take a leap of faith into something that once felt like a pipe dream. Don’t discourage the opportunity to spiritually and emotionally grow!
Use this Full Moon for a little respite and bring it all home. Focus on your foundations and the space where you can build and grow. Listen to your emotional side and take moments of rest to help you recharge. Connect with family or your home in a new way. Redecorate, or even reorganize and donate old things around the house that you don’t want anymore!

You are rarely short of ideas and now is no different. You have been in a period of seeking more growth, but sometimes growth can come in unique ways — potentially through interactions and dialogue. This is especially true with the Full Moon in Aries highlighting your 3rd House. This is a House of communication, thought, and idea. You may feel the need to share more than usual and really tell people what is going on in your mind.
You could be full of ideas and new inventions, thoughts, or concepts! Write them all down. You won’t want to lose track or lose sight of what is swirling around in that mind of yours. Now, a downside here could be increased anxiety, as the 3rd House creates a flurry of little tasks that feel like they need to be tackled immediately. This can be difficult as it seems that you don’t want to miss something. There is a lot to keep track of, and with your mind racing, it can be easy to have an oversight. Perspective will be really important for you. Try talking things out with someone — or have a friend or close friend hold you accountable for some of these tasks. Set alarms or ask for help where it is warranted. Communication is key now.
Mars will lead this lunation from your 9th House, adding adventurous energy. It will motivate you to act, pivot, and try something new! You may be feeling much more experimental or wanting to share your experiences with others. This energy supports risks! Especially as Venus brings abundance and ease to Mars at this lunation. You may find that partnering, collaborating, or connecting will inspire you immensely. Maybe a project or relationship can be a great catalyst for you. If you have been experiencing any difficulties with a close relationship, that will change now that Mars and Venus sextile and it can bring in some clarity. Mars will also join the South Node at this Full Moon. There may be old habits that die hard or maybe a fear of making changes. However, this isn’t a time to compromise your future based on past events. Mars wants to see you take uncharted waters and open yourself up to new possibilities. You take the lead now for what will unfold.
Mercury will finish its time in Virgo, where it will move back through the degrees it did during the retrograde. Conversations continue that focus on your healing, growth, and personal fears. Mercury will help you find resources or focus on the debts you have. Mercury will trine Uranus from your 4th House, helping you find a special connection to something ancestral or familial. This can support you. Perhaps newfound emotional foundations can be reached or just a joy in your home life. The subtle transformations you have done behind the scenes are now starting to take shape. Fear does not own you like it once had. The cycles are breaking.
Use this Full Moon to really leverage your voice. Get in touch with those around you and share your thoughts. Write things down and find ways to deal with the busy life you are surrounded by. Try to quiet those voices in your head that hold you back and seek help for any anxiety you may be taking on or holding. Perspective is everything. You need to see things a little differently in order to get ahead.

2nd House | Stability
Sometimes grounding is the best thing for you, especially in the face of all of the healing, changing, shifting, and opening you have been doing in the last few weeks. Libra Season has you focused on the shadow and descending deep to uncover what lies below. However, this Full Moon comes in with a chance to create a new foundation or a point of stability for you. It will shine on your 2nd House, so money could be on your mind, but also your own valuation, resources, and sense of security. You may have to release an expectation around where you find security during this Full Moon but know that leaves you with more opportunity to seek alternative routes and sources.
You could be focused on increasing what you have or making peace with what you don’t. Whatever it is, the key there is “making peace”. Sometimes, having more doesn’t always equate to what you need. Maybe asking for support is the thing that will pull you through now. You could have a lead that takes you to a new job, new client, or new opportunity. Focus on your expenses and maybe see what you can change about your spending habits. Now note this could also be your emotional resources…so perhaps you need to be better at how you spend your energy. You have a chance to redefine what your worth and value are. How can you take steps to bring stronger foundations into your life? Where can you discover more potential?
Mars will lead this lunation in your 8th House, stirring up activity in a quieter part of your chart. You could feel motivated to tackle debts, make changes to your financial situation, or even make adjustments to how you call in your power. You are transforming and changing, and it feels empowering to you! Venus is extremely supportive to Mars at this Full Moon, where it sits in your 6th House. If you have had a medical procedure, an injury, or anything related to health this supports quick healing and shifts in a positive direction. Additionally, this energy also welcomes a financial bonus or exchange in relation to a project or work that you have done. Lastly, resources that are not yours but those you share will also positively change. You could see your partner increase their available resources or may receive a gift/inheritance. Mars will join hands with the South Node, however. This could also point to the need to take steps to let go of old ways of handling financial decisions. It can also help you move past old wounds or issues around intimacy, bringing you close to the relationships that matter in your life.
Mercury will finish up its time in your 7th House, where it will cross over the degrees it did during the retrograde. Conversations with people close to you will be rehashed and resolved. Relationships will be formed and existing ones will be emphasized. Collaborations are likely. Mercury trines Uranus suggesting that a powerful connection will come through. This could be made through a networking opportunity or a friend. Someone is showing up for you. You could find yourself empowered by those around you. On top of this, ideas will come in super fast, and anything involving writing, creativity, speaking, or communicating can be supported. This trine also welcomes spontaneity in travel, whether alone or with people you care about. This is an electrifying time for you! Go with whatever comes up!
Use this Full Moon to get a handle on your resources, material and otherwise. Figure out how to spend your energy — and on what. See what potential opportunities arise around money and try to network with people to see if newer clients or work can come up. Comb through the things you own and purge what isn’t good for you anymore. Get your finances in order. But above all else, focus on how to call back your power, your self-worth, and your potential. You have to let go of what stands in the way of you seeing your true value. You are worthy.

Virgo New Moon Miniscopes
Virgo New
Moon Miniscopes
Planting Seeds.
The New Moon is in Virgo 21º on September 14th at 9:39 PM ET. The last few weeks have seen ups and downs, and now we are trying to find our footing again. The Venus retrograde is over and soon the Mercury retrograde will be as well. This New Moon reminds us of the hard work we have put in and how we can prepare for our harvest; to taste the fruits of our labor. The earthy energy keeps us rooted, grounded, and maintaining equilibrium.
This lunation signals a fresh perspective, as the Sun and Moon trine Uranus. In Earth signs, we may find ourselves feeling the desire to get out and connect with the world around us. There is a spontaneous and enlightening vibe that comes from the meeting of these celestial bodies. Uranus invites us to act—to put our energy and intention into something grand—while the Sun and Moon fuel this and materialize it. Perhaps we are more willing to step outside of our comfort zone than we normally would be. This trine welcomes ingenuity and adventure at every turn.
Working with Uranus, you can ask yourself: What fuels you? What needs a change? Where could you be more bold or spontaneous? Both the Sun and Moon in Virgo invite us to deliberate before making any moves. This will be helpful as they also oppose Neptune, creating a bit of fogginess at this time.
Mercury will station direct shortly after this New Moon occurs. It is a reminder that if we reflect before moving, we can find a true resolution or better outcome. Mercury tells us to bounce our ideas, thoughts, or feelings off of others, perhaps to double-check ourselves. It is through our interactions that we find motivation. Mercury, the leader of this New Moon, will present opportunities for dialogue and conversation, pushing us to connect. Share your thoughts. Through communication and connection, we find that we are learning more.
Venus seems to be caught between two suitors at this New Moon. It forms a tight square to Jupiter, which is the final of the three squares it will make while in Leo. Additionally, it will sextile Mars. This has us revisiting much of what came up around the Pisces Full Moon just a few weeks prior — or even the entirety of the recent Venus retrograde. We may feel that we are ready to move on from what we have been thinking about or working through. Mars will gift us the foresight and energy we need to refocus and realign ourselves.
This New Moon proves to be a bit easier than the last few lunations we have had. Virgo gives us space to organize whatever arises and to make sense of it all. Remember that Mercury has a powerful role in this New Moon, so anything can be achieved or resolved through the power of interaction and communication. Ensure that you take care to open up to those that matter, and seek support to find much-needed peace.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 17º to 26º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Mutable placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

Aries & Aries Rising
6th House | Order
We are preparing for a new season, but right now, you are being called to slow down a bit. Focus. Pay attention to what is happening around you. This New Moon will highlight your needs, health, boundaries, and routines. With it in Virgo, you will be focusing on the small mundane details of your life and getting yourself organized. How have you been treating yourself? How are you feeling?
This New Moon could be a call to rest, recover, and tend. You may finally be getting clarity around a work or health matter with this lunation falling in your 6th House. This New Moon wants you to focus on your routines and how you can make small changes in your daily life to impact your overall well-being. This means taking control of the little things and ensuring that you make appropriate shifts to get healthier or engage in stronger boundaries. This doesn’t always imply diet or exercise. This could come in the form of giving yourself more grace and focusing on your emotional and mental health, too. Of course, work lies here too. So, this lunation could be a call to make changes to your overall work environment, responsibilities, or tasks.
The Sun and Moon find themselves in a trine to Uranus, creating some excitement around this lunation. There may be an unexpected resource that can arise or some sort of positive financial situation related to a project or work you’ve done. Alternatively, you could be feeling a renewed sense of confidence and energy as you are ready to embark on a different health journey. Mercury will be stationing direct the day after this New Moon, so anything that has felt unstable, slow, or sticky will soon turn a corner. Things are lifting and the season of personal planet retrogrades will soon be over!
Use this New Moon to lean into better health practices. Focus on achieving work/life balance and open yourself up to different work opportunities. Make changes to your routines and get organized! Take credit where you deserve it and never undercut your value. Rest where and how you can.

5th House | Creativity
It is time to talk about joy, happiness, and creativity. With the New Moon falling in your 5th House, there can be an ease to this energy which is welcomed after some strain for you. Now is time to lean into the pleasurable side of life, releasing anything standing in the way of your true happiness.
The fellow Earth energy is flowing and natural for you. You may decide to start a new creative endeavor or reach a turning point in one. If you are looking to conceive anything (child, romance, project), this New Moon will be perfect for that. This lunation deals with creation at its core and affairs of the heart. Where do you find pleasure? Joy? What is the source of your creativity? How do you open your heart up? How can you take more risks? Use this time to take that leap and express yourself just as you are in this present moment. Unapologetically own your creativity and find what fuels you. You have to share your passions and show love to those you care about. In doing this, you receive it back tenfold. You create your happiness. Honestly, just do something that makes you feel good.
The Sun and Moon will be trine Uranus around the time of this New Moon. This can create a whimsy and excitement! There may be some unpredictable circumstances that arise, but it feels more positive than not given the flowing aspect between the planets. You may feel more spontaneous or receive some good news! Additionally, Mercury will be stationing direct the day after this lunation, so anything that has felt pending will begin to move ahead. We are pulling out of the immense amount of retrogrades we have experienced since July and are ready to take big leaps forward.
Use this New Moon to stand in your light and unapologetically shine. Create, connect, and conceive! You have the chance to make internal waves and question your doubts. Resilience is yours. Reignite that spark.
Gemini & Gemini Rising
4th House | Sanctuary
This New Moon is going to have you more withdrawn than usual. You are turning your focus away from the outside world — and becoming a little more introverted (yes, even you need time to recharge). Geminis are more sensitive than they lead on, constantly soaking up the energy of everything around them.
This New Moon is a reminder to refill your cup. You may find that home-related matters are top of mind now. You may be looking to buy/sell a home, rent, or renovate. This lunation will be very helpful for you. If you want to redecorate, you are also in a good position to do so. The energy around this New Moon comes to illuminate your emotional security. Your past informs your future, but your present dictates what that future will be. You may spend time reflecting now and reconnecting with those close to you. Take it easy right now. You, alternatively, may be seeking the comforts of your family, chosen or given, and finding peace in their presence. Now is the time to know that evolution starts at our core — from the roots to the flower.
With Uranus so positively tied to this New Moon, you may find that the energy is kinetic! With your 12th House activated you could be doing some spiritual, emotional, or mental health resets or even looking to tap more into your intuitive side. For you, some of the most profound experiences at this lunation will come during your moments of rest or solitude. Additionally, your ruler, Mercury, will be stationing direct just after this New Moon. If you have been hoping to do anything home-related, you will find some pathways begin to open up!
Use this New Moon to focus on your roots and foundations. Connect with family, chosen or given. Make changes to your living space and get in touch with your emotional well-being. Sit in the nostalgia but don’t get lost there. Tomorrow is a new day.
Cancer & cancer Rising
3rd House | Perception
You spend a lot of time taking care of others, but never enough time taking care of yourself. This New Moon will fall in your 3rd House, asking you to use your voice and speak up. This is about walking away from overthinking. You deserve to say what is on your mind as much as anyone else.
This New Moon can have you reaching a culmination on a writing project or looking to connect with friends, siblings, and those you are closer with. You are learning through interactions and taking time to siphon through information and what other people are saying to you. You are being asked to be adaptable, but there is still something about owning your truth. You may also be asked to have a conversation that feels more difficult, but you are finding the words to make it much easier. You are changing your perspective. Growth comes through learning and integrating. The people that you have around you, are showing you possibilities. They are teaching you how to see things in a new way.
But most importantly, they are showing you that your voice matters. Your words hold power. So say what you need to say.
With Uranus being such an active player at this New Moon, you may find that a friend or someone in your community comes through in an unpredictable, but positive way. It could be that they give you a piece of advice or information that you need in the moment or that you they inspire to think about things differently. You could also be getting out a bit more or being more social than normal! You could join a community with similar interests or really just spend time sharing with friends. There is a lot of good reception and feedback happening right now around you. With Mercury stationing direct just the day after this lunation, anything that once felt fuzzy or unclear will shift. The static will settle and the fog will lift. This New Moon is quite joyful, so lean into that energy.
Use this New Moon to find your voice again. Speak up on what you believe in, and listen to those around you. Conversation and communication will be important now. Write your ideas down and start finding the motivation to put these thoughts into motion!
LEO TO SCORPIO
Leo & Leo Rising
2nd House | Security
Leo now is the time to flex your skills and stand your ground. This New Moon is perfectly placed in your 2nd House! This will have your mind on income, self-worth, and value. You can work to get yourself in a good position. But be your own advocate.
This New Moon can bring up conversations or thoughts around resources and finances. If you work for yourself, you could see an influx of clients or think of new money-making ideas. You should release self-doubt at this New Moon. It is what will stand in the way of your earning potential. You know your talents and your strengths. Use them to your advantage and show people what you are worth. Alternatively, there may be reflections on security coming up for you, too. It may not be so much about what you are earning, but what you own (even outside of material goods) — and how that relates to your perception of your value. Thus, you are paying attention to what you deserve and how you can treat yourself better. Sometimes, we forget that we do deserve to build security, outside of material security, for ourselves. That in order to actually feel grounded or connected, we have to accept ourselves for who we are.
With Uranus so positively aspected to this lunation, there may be some unexpectedly good circumstances surrounding your work, your future aspirations, and your resources. Some of you may be taking big leaps in your chosen vocation or moving into an entirely different field. Venus being direct now in your sign also supports this after weeks of re-evaluating what you want and your values. Now you can embody the work you have done. Mercury will station direct the day after this lunation bringing any unintentional pauses to a forward motion. Some of you may receive resources you have been waiting on while others could be witnessing a change in how you work with the resources you have.
Use this New Moon to focus on your value and worth. Make changes to how you view money and abundance. Find new or additional resources or income. Above all else, cultivate a better relationship with yourself and your self-worth.
Virgo & Virgo Rising
1st House | Identity
Virgo, there is a New Moon in your sign! This is important and points to the Full Moon we experienced in your sign earlier around March 18th of this year. Think back to what you started around then and how you are carrying a similar theme. Perhaps you are ready to start a new cycle for yourself or pieces are starting to come together!
This New Moon will highlight your needs, desires, motivations, and goals. When was the last time you asked yourself what you wanted? Like, what you really wanted? The theme seems to be allowing yourself to shine and stand in your own strength. You can be recognized for who you are and what you seek to create. The 1st house is about identity, and with a New Moon here, you may be shedding some skin. You can let go of who you were — in order to make room for who you truly are. This is being unapologetically yourself. Now you are the alchemist. You call the shots. You make the choices. You care deeply about others, and you understand the impacts of your own actions, but sometimes we don’t realize how limiting it can be to ONLY focus on others. If abundance is plural and we choose not to grow — then you may be inhibiting the growth of someone else. This is about you bringing to an end some of the outdated narratives you have written or believe about yourself. This is about changing how you see yourself enough to love yourself a little more. Self-respect.
The Sun and Moon will trine Uranus at this lunation and it will bring some spontaneous and exciting energy into your life. You may be more willing to take a risk, try new things, or embark on new adventures now. You may find yourself itching to break out of convention or the mould and do whatever sets your heart on fire. You could travel, learn something new, or even join a cause. Don’t limit yourself right now as this energy promotes innovation and experimentation. To back up this aspect of the New Moon, Mercury, your ruler, will station direct the day after. This will begin to clarify and open doors for you. You will start to see how everything you’ve been working on behind the scenes is all related and embody the new found pieces of yourself that emerge.
Use this New Moon to get in touch with yourself, your desires, and your motivations. Ask yourself who you want to be. Focus on how you can act on what you want and make space for your goals. It is your turn.
Libra & Libra Rising
12th House | Release
You are being pulled into a need for rest and relaxation. You have been going nonstop for quite some time, and now you’re being asked to slow things down. The Sun and Moon align in your 12th House. There are important endings afoot now.
If you are working on a project, you are not quite ready to leap or expose what you’ve been doing, but you see the finish line. You are changing how you approach your spirituality, your intuition – but also changing how you can let go and find resolution. We may not always have control in our lives over what’s happening, but we can control our reactions and steer things to the outcome we seek. It is the mark of a significant ending of something in your life. It may be the end of a job, a partnership, a habit, an identity, something. But it has made room for something greater. Endings aren’t scary. They are necessary. Right now, you should take time to comb through what you let go of — so that you don’t take that energy with you into the next phase. That means time to process your emotions.
The New Moon will be in a positive reception to Uranus, creating whimsy and electricity in the air. This will bring about an untapped resource that can be available to you! You may find that you or your partner receive some sort of good financial news. Alternatively, this could be a very sensual time for you — especially with Mars in your sign. You may be craving more intimacy and exploration. Remain open to what comes your way. Mercury will be stationing direct just a day after this lunation, so if you have been quietly plugging along, you may find new doorways begin to open up. Additionally, there can be information that you were not privy to that will soon reveal itself! It seems to impact a closure or even maybe work-related!
Use this New Moon to bring a chapter to a close. Find space to open new doors and explore possibilities. You can get further in touch with your faith, spirituality, or intuition — possibly even using this to inform and guide you. Most importantly, use this New Moon to give yourself a place to rest, finding peace and resolution in anything that feels that it is pending.
Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
11th House | Community
I know you don’t always like to ask for help, but this New Moon will have people showing up for you left and right! The amount of support you have is uncanny. You are making new friendships and maybe saying goodbye to old ones that aren’t as solid as they used to be.
Take a look at your connections, friendships, network, and even your dreams. Where are you siphoning off your energy, and what is taking up too much space? Are you leaving room for new opportunities, new people, or new ideas? This lunation will bring you back to your dreams, perhaps reigniting a spark. You can make powerful connections with others that push you closer to what you really want out of life. Your mind seems to be on the future and where you are headed overall. If things don’t align with your vision, you don’t have to hold onto them. You can walk away from it. Consider ways you can build a new future with others — and not alone. Community is your backbone. Who do you look to? Where does your community lie?
Uranus will be electrifying your 7th House and working well with this New Moon. There is a spontaneous and exciting energy that someone close to you could bring into your life. If you get a surprise invitation or request to go out, do it! You will meet the right people at the right time. You may always want to surprise a partner or close friend instead. Follow these threads of inspiration! They will lead you to good places. Mercury will station direct the day after this New Moon, so if a dream or idea has felt like it was put on hold, this will shift. The Mercury change can breathe freshness into your life and relationships! You may even feel more inclined to reimagine your future for yourself.
Use this New Moon to focus on community and ways that you can use your innate talents to help others. Find networks and groups that you can connect with and re-establish bonds with friends. Possibly even throw your partner into the mix or start a new relationship (romantically, business-wise, or even platonically).

10th House | Goals
You have been working hard lately. This New Moon in your 10th House is asking you to reframe your thoughts around your direction in life, your career, and what you want in the end from all of it. Your mind will be on work and your goals in the coming year. This is the start of something new!
Right now, this particular lunation brings in fresh energy – not necessarily in regard to your work, but maybe even your attitude surrounding it. What do you want your future to look like? What are your long-term visions? This relates to what was happening around March for you this year. When we start something, we may have to let something else go. You are more ready and willing to expand what your purpose, direction, and work may look like. You are being seen by the right people. You are being heard by those that need to listen to you. Make yourself visible now. This is a call to be noticed. Do not shy away when the time arises.
Uranus will trine the New Moon, creating a sense of harmony but also excitement! This energy is whimsical and electric. If you have been having any sort of health issues, this will begin to clear or you may get answers that you have been needing. Additionally, you may be feeling ready to reorganize your life and find a little routine, Uranus will support you! A surprise project or client could land at your doorstep that could be quite good for you! With Mercury stationing direct just the day after this New Moon, anything pending energy or slowness at work will change. You will see that all of your efforts were for something or that there may be new vocations or aspirations waiting for you. Dare to dream a little bigger right now.
Use this New Moon to focus on your career goals and your direction in life. Realign yourself with what you want and let go of what is not worth your energy. If you walk away from a job, a new one is just around the corner. If you choose to rise through the ranks, you are being noticed. Ask for what you deserve.
Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
9th House | Possibilities
It is time to grow, grow, grow! The New Moon in Virgo will highlight your 9th House, asking you to expand past your current limitations. This House represents risk-taking, pushing past the horizons, and listening to your higher knowing. Whatever your goal is, now is the time to make sure you are fully aligned with it.
This New Moon will make sure that you release anything in your path that is holding you back. Experience can give you wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. Over the last few years, you have been realizing just how important that is. However, you may have accumulated information, morals, or values that no longer suit you where you are in life. It is ok to change and let go of what is outdated. You could be starting a new school or diploma-based program, excelling in higher Ed., looking to travel, starting a new language, or even just exploring spirituality. This is just the beginning of what’s to come. The 9th House doesn’t end on those topics — it rules aspects of the liminal, but more on the edges. It rules politics and ethics. You are changing those views and really taking stock of how you show up in the world. If you have been wanting to do something exciting, fresh, or new — then let this be your green light!
It seems you are ready to take that leap right? Uranus will support this New Moon, making you feel the itch for something new — for a little change! With so much Earth energy around this lunation, you will feel right at home. Some of the changes you are making are to restore more joy or work/life balance into your life. Which is helpful! With Mars now at the top of your chart, you could be getting quite busy or making a career change. Refocus your attention on your joy and what brings pleasure into your life. Mercury will station direct just the day after this New Moon, so you will find the clarity and answers you need if you are still questioning what your next steps will look like.
Use this New Moon to expand your horizons, go back to school or even take a trip (safely). You can explore new spiritualities or politics, redefining your morals and ethics — but this requires letting go of old ones. You make the call. You decide what your big picture looks like. Leap into a new phase of your life.

8th House | Transformation
It is time to rely on those you trust intimately. This New Moon is very healing for you and can bring you close to a partner or friend. Now is the time to share your resources, your fears, your desires, and your motivations. Your 8th House is being activated, so nothing is off-limits.
Who do you trust enough to let in? How can you make room to have that intimate reciprocity in your relationships? The 8th House is one that is rarely seen, but when a lunation falls here, it asks for us to see what’s been hidden. You can make great strides in healing matters, releasing old wounds or past pains, or even in exploring your own sexuality and what brings you true pleasure. This is a very sensitive area of your chart, so you may need to navigate delicately. In thinking about a close relationship, you have to trust that things are going your way and let go of any control you may feel. The deep connections you make with others are profound and genuinely healing. This area of your chart also rules money outside of income. Perhaps your partner is taking on a new job that boosts your spending/earning potential overall in the relationship. Or maybe, you receive some sort of loan or assistance. You could possibly even pay down a debt that has been looming over you.
Your modern ruler plays a jovial role at this New Moon. It harmonizes with the Sun and Moon and adds a sense of adventure to a rather grounded energy. You could find that some positive familial or home-related news will pop up now! If you have been trying to buy, rent, sell, etc., then you may find the right place or tenant! Alternatively, this energy is amazing for ancestral veneration and connection. You may have a beautiful and inexplicable encounter that leaves you inspired. With Mercury stationing direct the day after this New Moon, the fog will begin to lift. If you have any debts or financial things you want to get lifted, then you may find that this energy will help you. You may also receive assistance or support if you need it!
Use this New Moon to explore your sexuality and your intimacy. Release old baggage and let go of fears that stand in the way. Find alternative resources and apply for grants, mortgages, and loans! It’s time to transform your outlook. It is time to call back your power! Healing, grieving, and shadow work are a must now.
Pisces & Pisces Rising
7th House | Unity
The focus on “me” vs “we” has been very prevalent over the last year. Autonomy is important, but so are the relationships you cultivate. You can do a lot on your own, but sometimes you need to be reminded that you don’t have to. There are close relationships that want to help you and support you.
This lunation is in your 7th House, and it is time to take a look at the “others” in your life and figure out what role they play. This New Moon will fall in your opposite sign turning your attention to close one-on-one relationships. What is the dynamic? How are you both contributing? This isn’t limited to romantic partners. It could be in business, family, and friendships, as well. Luckily, this New Moon is like a fresh start for you. If you are not thinking about anyone else, you could be considering what talents you are giving away instead of using them for yourself. If you need guidance, seek the advice of someone you trust to give you what you need to hear. Now is the time to allow yourself to rely on someone for help. By cultivating strength in your partnerships, you build deeper trust and share the weight of responsibilities. Nothing should ever be one-sided. Call in a balance.
Uranus is playful and fun at this New Moon as it trines the lunation! This will bring about positive and exciting news for you and/or a partner! Uranus will ensure that you follow those threads of excitement and celebrate whatever you may hear. Alternatively, you could be inspired to share, write, think, connect, or reciprocate. Uranus will be having your phone blowing up and people wanting to chat with you left and right! Lean into this and remain connected. Mercury stations direct the day after this lunation, so any miscommunications with a partner or any relationship will lift. You can find the answers and have the conversations you need that will leave you feeling more fulfilled and happy. Ultimately, this New Moon is a gift for you!
Use this New Moon to focus on the relationships in your life. This isn’t just romantic, but also in business or with family/friends. You may need to change your view on support and allow yourself to let others in. You are forging/deepening really important relationships now. Let them grow, and in turn, help you grow.

The Full Moon is in Pisces 7º on August 30th at 9:36 PM ET. Even amidst practical Virgo Season, we are given a little healthy idealism with the Full Moon in Pisces, reminding us that life isn’t all work and no play—and that sometimes, seeing isn’t always believing. In the dream-like state of the Piscean mind, we are reminded to connect with parts of ourselves that have been long forgotten. The Full Moon illuminates our hopes, grounding our inspiration in our intuition. We channel the intangible into reality, connecting our spirit with our body.
Where do our boundaries lie? Are they limitations to our growth or structures put in place to ground us? As the Sun and Moon oppose each other in Virgo and Pisces, we have to find how and where we choose to expend our energy. These signs always bring up the issues surrounding service and sacrifice. Have we given up too much at the expense of our own needs?
Since Full Moons signal release, we are told to let go of limiting beliefs with Pisces. We have to swim in the sea of the spirit and get in touch with our soul’s desires.
The Sun opposes Saturn, while the Moon joins it. Both are held to conviction by this laborious planet. We are taking a hard look at what is seemingly valuable or important to us. Saturn asks that we spend time carefully removing the pieces that no longer fit in our lives. But in the same breath, it welcomes the opportunity for us to recognize the growth we have had in the last many months as Saturn has moved through Pisces. Recognition is the first step in embodiment.
It is important to note that this Full Moon is submerged in retrograde energy. This lunation is steeped in potential uncertainty, confusion, and lack of clarity. So you may be called to come back, refine, and reflect around this time. This would provide an excellent opportunity to finish something up that has been sitting on the back burner or to just simply pause. You may be drawn to conversations you have had in the past few weeks and seeking a resolution or release based on recent discoveries. Give yourself some grace and patience as you navigate this energy.
Mercury seeks guidance from Jupiter, the traditional ruler of this Full Moon. Under the trine, Mercury sees possibility—but may be prone to blind optimism especially as it is retrograde. The rational mind and abstract thought come together to expand our worldview. Mercury and Jupiter push us to listen to our intuition and the deep inner knowing that comes with it. There is wisdom that swells within our soul, that helps us along in this Earth incarnation. Mercury learns from Jupiter that some things don’t need explanation. Sometimes, they just need to be felt to be understood.
Venus finishes its last few days through its own retrograde motion. It squares Jupiter, bringing awareness to what the retrograde has been culminating for us all along. Jupiter helps to steer us and give us direction — especially as it positively connects with Mercury. When we break free from the things that keep us feeling less than, we find focus, determination, and expansion. Growth requires us to push beyond what we once believed possible or to be true.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 2º to 12º, you will feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Especially those with strong Mutable placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

ARIES TO CANCER
Aries & Aries Rising
12th House | Mindfulness
This Full Moon is illuminating your 12th house, Aries, a place in your chart that normally remains behind the veil. As the only house in the chart that never sees the light of day from the Sun, we have to work extra hard to engage with whatever it is we have lurking there. Right now, you get a momentary exception to the obscurity of the 12th house as the Full Moon shines its light there.
In this moment, you may find yourself feeling especially tender or emotional in ways that feel out of character for you. There may be things you’ve long forgotten about or ignored or normally keep hidden that are coming to the surface now. Remember that Full Moons are times of release. Perhaps there are some old wounds that you’re ready to let go of or allow to come up for air so that they may better heal. Be kind to yourself, as is the true Piscean way.
Saturn, who is also traveling along your 12th house in Pisces, is put under the spotlight of the Full Moon, illuminating whatever teachings Saturn has been bringing you since March. The good news here is that Saturn loves to be in the 12th house - it's what's known as "the house of joy" for Saturn in Astrology - as Saturn can stay busy tending to all of its tasks undisturbed. Take a moment to really acknowledge everything Saturn has brought into your life over the past six months. How have things changed? What have you learned?
Jupiter, the leader of this lunation, continues its own journey through your 2nd house of value and resources and reaches out in support to the Full Moon. Perhaps there is a new sense of self-worth or resources you possess that can be discovered now.
Taurus & Taurus Rising
11th House | Hope
Social circles of all kinds are coming into focus as the Full Moon illuminates your 11th house, Taurus. This may be a busy, or particularly social time for you, especially with Jupiter hanging out in your first house, expanding your sense of self! This can be a beautiful moment for you to connect with your favorite people and nurture the relationships you hold dear, especially with Saturn traversing this area, bringing solidity to your circles of all kinds.
It's true that there may also have already been some moments of discerning which of your connections really ARE solid, and will be fulfilling to you in the long run. Remember that Full Moons are moments for letting go, too, so this may be the right time to shed those connections, as well.
Uranus, who has been hanging out in your first house for the past few years as well, has recently stationed retrograde. While Uranus has been liberating and enabling you to bring forward a more authentic version of yourself, the journey may be quite difficult for you, as someone who resists change. This retrograde is a moment for any internal changes that you may need to make in order to fortify the new identity that has been emerging over the past few years.
Gemini & Gemini Rising
10th House | Legacy
Underneath this Full Moon you may find yourself focused on fulfilling your purpose, Gemini, as the 10th house of your chart gets paid a visit. Saturn is also transiting this area of your chart, asking for you to get serious when it comes to your career, your legacy, and your reputation. Saturn always asks for us to commit and to work hard to follow through on this commitment. Now, as the Full Moon in Pisces moves to highlight this area of your life, as well, you may find yourself feeling the need to let go of whatever isn't serving you, career-wise, or perhaps gaining some new insights into what is truly going to fulfill you here.
Jupiter, the leader of this lunation, is hanging out in your 12th house: the one area in our charts that never sees the light of day from the Sun. In many ways, this house is the traditional home of Pisces, thus creating a certain connection here. This is a moment for you to really dream, and dream big, about your calling in life. What do you actually want to be doing, and what steps can you take to get there?
Uranus, who recently stationed retrograde, has also been trudging through your 12th house, unearthing the things you normally keep buried. Whatever you've been learning and changing through this process may also help you understand what truly feels fulfilling for you. There may also be some internal changes that need to be implemented.
Cancer & cancer Rising
9th House | Limitlessness
This Full Moon, your ruler, is bringing forward a plethora of themes for you, Cancer, including: adventure, travel, higher education, spirituality, and the big picture. These are all the themes of the 9th house, where the Full Moon in Pisces is shining brightly. Alongside Saturn, who has been transiting this area since March, there is likely a new, bigger picture for your life that has been emerging. Perhaps you've been feeling a desire to return to school, or to dive deeper into your spirituality, or to step into more of a teaching role somehow. Very often where the 9th is involved, there's also a need for a leap of faith. Allow the Full Moon to illuminate this new perspective and embrace whatever insights come your way. This would also be an excellent time to get out of dodge and literally expand your horizons, too.
Jupiter in Taurus, who leads this lunation, is hanging out in your 11th house along with Uranus, who has recently stationed retrograde, creating an emphasis on your networks of people. This combo has both created change throughout your social circles, and expansion. Spending time socializing with your favorite people during this time could also serve to broaden your horizons literally and figuratively, and will likely bring a new point of view to your life. Lean in.
LEO TO SCORPIO
Leo & Leo Rising
8th House | Healing
The Full Moon in Pisces is illuminating your 8th house, Leo, a place in the birth chart that normally lurks in the shadows. It is here that we look at themes of life, death, rebirth, and, ultimately, transformation. Other themes include secrets, sex, the occult, and shared resources aka the way you share and receive money from others. Saturn has been transiting this area of your chart since early March, looking to bring stability and implement new structures of support. Now, as the Full Moon illuminates the dark caverns of the 8th house, you may find yourself both finding greater understanding around these ideals, as well as possibly needing to release something in order to be reborn. Maybe there's a dynamic in your partnership that needs readjusting, or maybe you need to let go of an old avenue of resources in order to welcome in a new one that feels more aligned.
The leader of this Full Moon, Jupiter, is transiting your 10th house of career, legacy, and reputation, highlighting money matters in a big way. Perhaps there is a promotion on the horizon for you, or a change in jobs/the career entirely. Uranus, also in Taurus, has been shaking up this area of your life for the past few years, as well. As it's just stationed retrograde about 48 hours ahead of the Full Moon, you may also find yourself focusing on making changes internally that align with this new direction of your life.
Virgo & Virgo Rising
7th House | Receptivity
Partnerships are the main focus of this lunation for you, Virgo, with the Full Moon coming through to highlight areas of love, commitment, and all of your intimate partnerships, including potentially business ones. This is the perfect time to focus on your partner (if you're in a relationship) or just to hangout one-on-one with somebody you hold near and dear.
Saturn has been moving through your 7th house since March, asking you to redefine what you truly and want and need in love in the long-term. If you're in a partnership, Saturn may be bringing forward the next level of commitment - whatever that means. You may also be assessing if you're really getting what you need in relationships, as well. This Full Moon joins Saturn to illuminate these questions, and, depending upon the answers that are coming forward, you may find yourself moving away from certain connections, especially alongside Venus Retrograde. You have high standards, to be sure, and it's okay to honor them.
Jupiter, the leader of this Moon, and Uranus, both in Taurus, offer support from your 9th house, looking to expand your perspective. You may find that your ideals surrounding partnership are changing, as the big picture of what you really want and need in love has grown. Jupiter asks for a leap of faith in this department - love is a risk, after all. Lean in to what feels authentic, no matter how that looks right now.
Libra & Libra Rising
6th House | Ritual
Your everyday life comes into focus underneath this Full Moon, Libra, as the Full Moon lights up your daily routines, rituals, physical health, and your job. Saturn, who has been moving through this same area in your chart, has been bringing forward some hard truths about your health, and making you work hard to implement the structure you need in your daily life to thrive. Ideally, through this process, you've also realized what is and isn't working for you anymore. There may even be some new realizations that come forward underneath the illumination of the Full Moon in Pisces, inspiring you to let go of old habits that stand in the way of your health and/or your ability to find happiness in your daily life. Allow those things to melt away now.
The leader of this lunation is Jupiter, who is hanging out in Taurus alongside Uranus, who has just stationed retrograde, in your 8th house of shared resources, transformation, sex, and the occult. There is something about support from others that can be helpful right now. Perhaps having a boost from someone else in your daily life could help you make the necessary changes you need. There may also be a certain death that is necessary in order to evolve into the version of yourself that is healthier, more organized, and ultimately more fulfilled. Let others be there for you while you make these changes for once.
Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
5th House | Expression
This Full Moon is a moment to focus on the idea of joy, pleasure, fun, and creativity, Scorpio, which all fall under the Piscean domain for you. Saturn has been transiting this area of your chart since early March, asking you to friend your commitment to love, pleasure, and fulfillment. Now as the Full Moon joins up with Saturn and illuminates these themes, it's time to get serious about your joy, and release whatever has been blocking you from experiencing it. It may be time to get creative and get in touch with your inner child again - whether through an artistic activity or hanging out with actual kids. Keep in mind, too, that one of the lessons of the 5th house is that not everything is that deep - an often difficult concept for you to accept. Truly, though, sometimes we just do things because we want to; because they're fun. That is reason enough.
Indeed romance may truly be the name of the game here, with Jupiter, the leader of this lunation, transiting your sector of committed partnerships. Jupiter wants to expand anything it touches, and whenever Jupiter transits our 7th house we can find ourselves with a long list of interested potential partners, or with our current relationship looking to take on a deeper commitment. Now is the time to welcome in love and to allow yourself to derive pleasure from it. Allow your defenses to come down and soften into joy.
SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES
Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
4th House | Home
You may find yourself feeling rather withdrawn or low energy underneath this lunation, Sagittarius, as the Full Moon highlights the lowest point in your birth chart, the 4th house. This area of your chart has been taking a hit from Saturn since early March, creating quite a bit of tension as it grinds up against your sense of self. This may have been playing out as a push and pull between your desire to escape and be out in the world, going on adventures, and the desire to stay home, spend time in introversion, or maybe even with your family. Now, as the Full Moon moves in to highlight this tension, there may be an increase in that push and pull. Ideally there's a balance to be had here, but it may take some flexibility and release on your part.
Meanwhile, Jupiter, who is hanging out in Taurus, leads this Moon from your 6th house of daily routines, alongside Uranus who has just stationed retrograde there. The connection between this house and the 4th house where the Moon and Saturn are is really pushing you to assess the way you're living your daily life. It can't be go, go, go all the time, Sagittarius. Even the busiest and most adventurous among us need to slow down sometimes. Take a moment to relax, and check in with your body. If you're tired, rest! Burnout is real and without giving your body the nourishment it needs, you will be there soon enough.
Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
3rd House | Communication
This may actually be quite a busy time for you, Capricorn, with the Full Moon highlighting your 3rd house of short-term travel, your local environment, and communication. Saturn, your ruler, has been putting its focus and attention on this area of your life since early March, asking you about the fine details and the ways you're communicating with others. Now, as the Full Moon in Pisces conjoins Saturn, perhaps there are some perspectives or stories you've held about yourself that you're ready to let go of in lieu of something more true. Perhaps a short trip or getting out into your local environment could also serve to shift your perspective. If an invitation to do something social comes forward, take them up on it.
Jupiter, the leader of the Full Moon, brings plenty of support to your social life from your 5th house of joy, fulfillment, pleasure, and the present moment. You tend to be a very serious person, Capricorn, and both Jupiter and Uranus - who has been shaking up these concepts for you the past few years - are really pushing you to prioritize experiencing more fun in your life. Jupiter in particular is looking to expand these concepts for you, and Uranus, who is freshly retrograde, is asking you to make some real changes inside to find value in the lighter side of life. Push yourself to do something fun.
Aquarius & Aquarius Rising
2nd House | Abundance
The Pisces Full Moon is lighting up your 2nd house of resources and self-worth, Aquarius, bringing into focus your idea of value. Saturn, your traditional ruler, has been moving through this house since early March, wanting to bring stability to your finances, the home, your material possessions, and your self-esteem. Now, as the Full Moon in Pisces links up with Saturn, it's time to assess what you value, as well as the value you assign to yourself. Self-esteem can be a fickle thing, it's true, but now is the time to let go of whatever it is that's holding you back from feeling good about yourself.
Jupiter, currently chilling in Taurus, continues its stead in your 4th house of family and foundations, alongside your modern ruler, Uranus, who has brought focus and big changes here for the past few years. In that sense, the past few years of your life may have been a particularly introverted period. Perhaps your sense of family and time has been a focus in a way you're not used to, with Uranus shaking up these dynamics in some way. With Jupiter here now, there's a certain balance between change and expansion that is asking for your attention. With Uranus having stationed retrograde only a mere 48 hours prior to the Full Moon, your focus now moves to the changes you need to make inside in the wake of whatever changes have happened externally.
Pisces & Pisces Rising
1st House | Motivation
The Full Moon is shining bright in your first house, Pisces, asking you to do the same! Take note of how it feels to have the focus on yourself, which is far from the norm for you. Ideally, this lunation has you feeling fantastic, as it illuminates all of the unique characteristics that make you, you. However, as Full Moons also ask us about release, perhaps it’s also time to say goodbye to old versions of yourself that you’ve outgrown.
Saturn echoes this sentiment from your first house as well, where it's been hanging out since March. Whenever Saturn transits the first house, we go through a period of maturity. We find ourselves asking whether or not we're being as effective as we'd like to be out in the world. Now, as the Full Moon moves to illuminate Saturn, you may find some important realizations about yourself coming to the forefront. Perhaps there are certain behaviors or characteristics you're ready to let go of, in lieu of something more solid or mature.
Jupiter, your ruler, is hanging out in your 3rd house, looking to expand the stories or beliefs you hold about yourself. Truly this is a moment for self-expansion and self-expression in a new way! Remember that the keyword with Jupiter will always be "optimism."
Uranus, who has also been hanging out in your 3rd house for several years, has been shaking up your perspective - ideally liberating you from tired and outdated beliefs about yourself. As it has just stationed retrograde, now is the time to check-in and intentionally engage with the story you're writing about yourself.

Leo New Moon Miniscopes
Leo New
Moon Miniscopes
A Return To Passion.
The forward was written by Anthony Perrotta, and the miniscopes were written by Gwen Yi.
The New Moon is in Leo 23º on August 16th at 5:38 AM ET. Leo sees potential and sparks the fire to fan the flames. It creates what it desires into reality and births new life. This New Moon is no different. If anything, it reminds us what is worth igniting and what fire deserves to be sustained. Creation is at the heart of this lunation. With the Sun as the leader of this New Moon, we are told to stand in our power, our pleasure—and in some cases, our light. The Sun is active in its pursuits, and it achieves all it sets its mind to.
However, we must remember that we have to be careful what we wish for. The Sun may lead this New Moon, telling us to light the way to our heart’s desires, but we may be in for a surprise. Uranus is creating tension. The Sun and Moon are caught in a square to this planet and are hoping to be released from the confines of Uranus’ hold. We are seeking to liberate ourselves from what no longer brings us joy, but sometimes that may feel challenging or jolting. Uranus is electrifying, creating a cosmic storm wherever it goes—only to show us something that we may have missed before. Pay attention to what you set as your intention. Uranus may take you on an unexpected journey to get there. Be as specific as possible to avoid any hang-ups. The upside to the Sun being the leader is that it never retrogrades, and it is fixed itself. So, we can charge ahead confidently with our eye on the prize, even in the face of adversity.
Where Uranus may be wreaking some havoc, Jupiter and Venus add a touch of ease to balance this out. Jupiter squares Venus and Venus joins the Sun and Moon, welcoming opportunities for growth and expansion. Even through Venus’s retrograde motion, it still holds the power to further bolster us. The significance of the benefics dynamically connecting on the day of this New Moon is to help us bring everything back into perspective. This is a time for us to re-establish and re-inspire much of what we began the last few months. Leo’s fire warms the solid energy of Jupiter in Taurus, allowing us to pour our hearts into a passion. The question here may become: how do you keep that passion going? Venus retrograde invites us to turn our passion inward so that we can keep our internal flames burning.
Mercury and Mars are playing around at this New Moon. Their conjunction can keep us focused, possibly even grounded through Uranus’s storm. Actually, Mars acts as an interception to the harsh Uranus squares at this New Moon. It redirects us and empowers us to make important changes. We may feel the initial lightning strikes permeate the ground we stand on — they can be shocking and electrifying. However, Mars and Mercury will keep us wrapped in a cocoon of protection. Together, they hold space for us as we seek to recover from any challenges we may face. Even more, they give us the gusto and energy to make a plan and creative solutions to anything that may arise. Sometimes it takes a jolt or sparks to remind us that anything can be possible.
If you have any personal planets in your chart at 19º to 27º, you will feel the effects of this New Moon the most. Especially those with strong Fixed placements. So, let’s break this down by sign! Always read Sun, Moon, and Rising.

ARIES TO CANCER
Aries & Aries Rising
5th House | “PLAY YOUR WAY”
Dear Aries, this New Moon in Leo shines a light on all the things that set your heart on fire. The Sun and Moon hold hands in your 5th house, where risk, love, creation, and heart-centered action reign supreme. Whenever I think about the 5th house, I think about our inner child. There was a time in your life where you dove headfirst into the pursuits and pleasures that made up the drumbeat of your youth –- perhaps it was doodling in the margins of your notebook, singing off-key in the shower, or even putting on a fashion-show-cum-dance-performance in your living room. Creativity is the name of the game for this New Moon, so when August 16th rolls around, ask yourself: “Is this something Mini Me would choose?”, and if the answer is a resounding yes, you know what to do.
There might be some crucial piece of insight that comes through this New Moon, with Uranus – lord of electricity and change – forming a tight square to our luminaries. Uranus is in your 2nd house of security and values, which might bring up the question: “Do I feel safe enough to choose my joy?” With Venus, our planet of love, beauty and values, also going retrograde, this is as good a time as any to break out of the mold you’ve put your true self in, and play your way back to authenticity. Contemplating questions like, “How much do I really need?” “How can I strike a balance between work and play?” “How can I plan my joy?” will feel illuminating under this dark sky.
With hot-headed Mars, your chart ruler, making eyes with Lord Uranus from across the room, there might be a desire to jump into action, or simply blow up your life. While you are supported in taking more risks now, the wisdom of this moment says: Pause. Channel that enthusiasm into tiny, low-stake, creative bets instead. An adult improv class. A second date. A watercolor session gone wrong. Play your way through the mess, and see what epiphanies come through.
Take it easy now, my friend. You have all the time in the world.
Taurus & Taurus Rising
10th House | “COME HOME TO YOU”
What does Home mean to you, dear Taurus? This New Moon in Leo serves as a blast from the past, inviting you to reflect on who you are and all the ways you came to be. This New Moon occurs in your 4th house of family, ancestry, roots and inner psyche, pulling these themes into focus. Since Venus began her journey through the underworld in late July – shedding, reassessing, alchemizing – you too might have been caught up in memories of days gone by. As you swim through the annals of personal history now, allow the New Moon to illuminate all the ways you were shaped by your upbringing – and if you still wish to hold onto the same old stories today.
Venus, your chart ruler, is currently retrograde in the sky, which means you might have been going through a bit of an identity crisis. Uranus, Lord of Change, has been taking up residence in your 1st house, shaking up your sense of self since 2018 – but on this New Moon, he is also squaring our luminaries, highlighting the gap between the person you are today, and the person you were brought up to be. Can the apple fall far from the tree? How different can one grow up to be? There is a lot up in the air, now, but I hope you give yourself the grace and space to live your way to the answers. Create a sense of home in your living space. In your emotions. In yourself. Comfort and peace are the perfect antidote to the questions being brought up under this dark sky.
When in doubt, creative pursuits might provide some medicine now, with Mercury and Mars hanging out in your 5th house of creativity, joy, and inner child. Scrapbooking, watching home movies, or looking at old photo albums may be healing under this New Moon. Do you have old journals, or a diary, from childhood? Could you dump out the contents of a treasured box of keepsakes, and spend a cozy evening sifting through? Bonus points if you can call up some family, and make it a shared activity.
Under this New Moon, you get to redefine what Home means to you. How it feels, how it looks – and how it nourishes you. You deserve the love you craved growing up. Now, you are fully capable of giving it to yourself.
Gemini & Gemini Rising
3rd House | “SPEAK YOUR TRUTH”
Gemini, Gemini, Gemini – this New Moon brings a gust of fresh air to your ideas, thoughts, language, and all the ways you share and express yourself. (Could it be more perfect?) Leo is a sign that’s known for heart-centered communication, and when the Sun and Moon are canoodling in your 3rd house, you know it’s time for a cosmic tête-à-tête.
You might notice your schedule filling up more quickly, or more people striking up conversations out of the blue during this time. Venus, our planet of relationships, is also going retrograde in Leo, so don’t be surprised if exes (or former bosses, colleagues, friends, foes…) reach back out! When in doubt, you can lean on your chart ruler, Mercury – who’s currently superpowered in grounded, practical Virgo – to figure out what to do. Your mind is sharp and clear now. Don’t be afraid to say no to what doesn’t feel aligned! New Moons are typically lower energy times of the month, so if the local neighborhood joint feels too busy, no one would fault you for retreating into your home sanctuary for some peace and quiet.
Jupiter is also trining your chart ruler Mercury now, assisting you in dreaming bigger than ever before. What is the message in your heart? What big ideas do you wish to share with the world? Uranus, Lord of Electricity, is squaring the Sun and Moon from your 12th house of unconscious psyche – I wouldn’t be surprised if sudden downloads and epiphanies were to appear in your dreams, visions, and meditations now. As busy as this New Moon might be, the more time you take to yourself to listen to that inner voice within, the clearer your thoughts and intentions will be. Journaling in particular might be a wonderful tool to gain access to those insights.
Plant those seeds now, Gemini. Write, sing, speak them into existence. This New Moon, heart-centered communication reigns supreme. Your words are spells now. Cast them into the world – and watch them come true.
Cancer & cancer Rising
2nd House | “OWN WHAT YOU VALUE”
Sweet Cancer, do you hear that? It’s your self worth calling. This New Moon in Leo lights up your 2nd house – your finances, value, stability, and sense of security are all being put in the spotlight now. You might’ve already been feeling it since the end of July, when Venus, our planet of love, beauty and values, started moonwalking through this exact area of your chart. Now, with this New Moon, you’re being given a chance to write a brand new story – with you at its center. What do you value most? She whispers. Take this lunation to find out.
Venus, as the ruler of the 2nd house, is currently on her own cosmic rebranding journey. So are you, as you revise what you might’ve known to be true about what gives you value. Perhaps you might’ve felt that certain things you’ve loved and poured into, like an investment or a relationship, no longer “spark joy” the way they used to. Or perhaps you might’ve been doubting your own sense of self-worth, wondering if the talents you bring to the table are enough.
With the square from Uranus emanating from your 11th house of friendship and the collective, there might be some epiphanies coming through around your personal values vs societal values. How much of your life has been crafted around what is ‘socially acceptable’? Can you find the Leonine courage to step fully into your truth, and unapologetically own what you value? There might be an urge to break free, now, but give it time to settle. New Moons are a time for introspection, not drastic action.
This is the perfect time to invest in activities or things that help bolster your sense of self. Can you set new financial goals, review your income, and celebrate how far you’ve come? Perhaps make a purchase you’ve really wanted, but have been putting off, as a gift to yourself? Or maybe it’s something as simple as writing down a list of your core values – this post is a good place to start – and letting them hit the soft underbelly of your heart. Hold onto what you know to be true, under this dark Moon.
Let it soothe you. Let it bring you home.
LEO TO SCORPIO
Leo & Leo Rising
1st House | “GROW A NEW IDENTITY”
ALL HAIL COSMIC ROYALTY – IT’S YOUR LUNATION, BABY! This New Moon in Leo is all about YOU, Leo. (No sweeter words have ever been spoken 🤣) The Sun and Moon join hands in your 1st house of Self, Body and Identity. You will have felt Venus’s retrograde journey through this part of your chart, because the 1st house is quite simply, you. The way you show up in the world, the way you interact with it, and the way it in turn perceives you – all of this falls under the 1st house’s purview. Cosmic rebranding, anybody? You might’ve been questioning your self image, your style, and your identity as a whole. As a Fixed Fire sign that likes knowing what’s what, this transit could have felt destabilizing, especially with Uranus causing chaos from your 10th house of career, reputation, and public perception.
I see this as the tension between who you are, and how the world sees you. Leo can live for the applause, but what if you no longer know what you stand for? This New Moon gives you permission to rewrite the script. To shut off all the noise, and come back to the only person that truly matters: you. What do you want? What motivates you? What gives you purpose, joy, and gets you out of bed each morning? Under the dark sky of this New Moon, write down a list of desires, as sloppy as you can. No one is watching now. Spend some time thinking about what you’ve written, and how these actions shape the person you want to become. Then, pick one, just one – and start to embody it more.
Maybe it’s a value, like kindness. Or a principle, like fairness. Maybe it’s a mental shift, like not caring about what others think as much. Whatever you choose, set your intentions this New Moon to live that for a week. Build it into a habit. After all, James Clear, best-selling coach and author, says that “your habits are how you embody your identity.” Build a new habit and a new identity, now, under this New Moon.
Watch it sprout and take root. Watch it grow into something you can be proud of, something you can stand by. And when Venus finishes her retrograde journey, you will look back on this little intention you’ve planted – and feel so proud of how far you’ve come. I’m rooting for you, Leo!
Virgo & Virgo Rising
12th House | “BE STILL & LISTEN”
Dear Virgo, this New Moon in Leo is asking you to do the one thing you tend to resist: Rest. The Sun and Moon are snuggling up in your 12th house of subconscious, dreams and endings, shifting your usual sprightly energy into one of solitude and spirituality. The 12th house is a gateway to our collective unconscious, sitting at the opposite end of your grounded, earthly practicalities. But it couldn’t have come at a better time, with Venus retrograde already placing an emphasis on the realm of things unseen for you these past few weeks. You might’ve noticed your dreams becoming more fantastical – but disappearing like a poof of smoke when morning light comes. You might have noticed yourself going deeper into your spirituality and mysticism, or gaining a deeper appreciation for the art of Surrender, learning to let go and let be.
Your chart ruler, Mercury, is in kahoots with Jupiter for this lunation. The big gas giant is infusing your mind with optimism for the future, offering a perspective shift or a new mindset on a limiting belief you might’ve once held. One thing to look out for is Uranus, squaring the New Moon from your 9th house – the house of philosophy, belief and higher education. You might experience a crisis of faith or doubt, the things you knew to be ‘true’ going up in smoke like those sun-soaked dreams.
Come home to your intuition, now. You can trust in the little niggles, the whisper in your gut that reminds you of Truth. Sitting in meditation is an ideal way to work with this energy, as well as being out in nature, getting lost on the trails, connecting with your body, mind and spirit. The more you quieten the world around you, the more insights and messages will come through – and they all have good things to say.
New Moons are a time of new beginnings, but we must first allow certain things to end. Let go, now. Under this New Moon, you are fully supported in starting anew.
Libra & Libra Rising
11th House | “BUILD AN HONEST WORLD”
Sweet Libra, this New Moon in Leo is throwing a party, and it’s all going down in your 11th house of community. The 11th house rules friends, society, belonging, and visions for the future. The key word here is Hope – are the people in your life giving you more of it, or depleting your supply? Since Venus began her backwards journey through the sky, you too have been reevaluating the role friends and community play in your life. Relationships are the lifeblood of your existence, but for these past few weeks, you might have felt stuck, blocked, or confused about to whom and where you belong. This New Moon calls on your inner courage to shine in authenticity – can you put aside other people’s wants and needs, and tune in to your own? Perhaps the first step, as always, is to belong first to yourself.
Uranus, Lord of Change, is squaring the New Moon from your 8th house of intimacy, taboo, and shared resources. There is something hidden coming to light now, crawling out of the woodwork of your most intimate relationships – perhaps an old money issue, or a wound asking to be healed, so you can be seen and held in all your truth within your communal spaces. Venus, your chart ruler, is also squaring Jupiter in Taurus – highlighting the clash of desire you might feel between your personal needs and those of the wider collective. The medicine, as always, lies in one of your strong suits: communication. This New Moon is a beautiful time to lay your cards on the table, and talk things out with those you hold dear.
By working on your relationships, and holding sacred space together, you may stumble your way to the answers. Anchor your hopes in the world you are building, now. May it be every bit as beautiful and honest as you desire.
Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
10th House | “REWRITE YOUR LEGACY”
Scorpio, this New Moon in Leo is taking a leaf out of Taylor Swift’s book and calling it Reputation. The Sun and Moon is hanging out in your 10th house of career, legacy and public perception, turning the spotlight on all the things in your professional wheelhouse. You’ve always been ambitious, Scorpio, but ever since Venus went retrograde, you’ve been having second thoughts about the kind of legacy you want to leave. Is this career right for me? Is this how I want to be known? Is this something I can stand by through the annals of time? Big questions, I know. No wonder you’ve been going a little stir-crazy. Venus retrograde is setting the stage for big shifts to occur, and career & reputation might be the biggest of them all. You might be considering an industry change, or to switch up your professional brand in some way. Know that all of that is okay and supported now. The highest evolution of Scorpio is the phoenix, after all: burning, evolving, and rising from the ashes anew.
Change is on the forefront of your mind, with Uranus – planet of electricity and insight – squaring this New Moon from his perch in your 7th house of relationships. You might be feeling the tension between your committed relationships and your career. Perhaps you feel a sense of responsibility in your relationship to stay the same; or you might be feeling pushed to grow by a loved one. When in doubt, come home to the Leonine wisdom of the self – authenticity and truth comes from within. What do you want to do? What do you want to be known for? It’s okay to experiment, or to chart a new path. As long as it feels true to you, that’s the most important thing you can do.
Mars, your traditional ruler, is trining Uranus, perhaps adding fuel to the fire to break free, but ultimately, easing the way for any risks you might be itching to take at this time. New Moons are a time for sowing seeds, not necessarily taking drastic action: but know that whatever you choose to plant now has the potential to grow – maybe even into an everlasting legacy. But I’ll let you be the judge of that ;)
SAGITTARIUS TO PISCES
Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
9th House | “HAVE A LIL FAITH”
SAGGI – you really lucked out with this New Moon. La Luna is joining hands with El Sol (and Venus!) in your 9th house, which also happens to be where you feel most at home! The 9th house rules philosophy, travel, higher education, faith, beliefs and publishing. *cue “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music*
The 9th house – and you, dear Sagittarius – are synonymous with one word: POTENTIAL. This New Moon, I invite you to contemplate the vast array of potential you have before you. Venus has been going retrograde in Leo, creating an almost existential crisis of faith. If your life has felt stagnant, like you’re just going through the motions, or you feel bogged down by the day to day – the square from Uranus in your 6th house of daily work will help shake things up. This is the perfect time to break out of your routine, take a leap of faith, and try something new.
Has there been a course you’ve been dying to invest in? Maybe a country you’d like to tick off your bucket list? Or perhaps, a philosophy, faith, or school of thought (like *ahem* Astrology) that you’ve been interested to dive into? You don’t have to leap into action just yet, but you can take the smallest first step: Signing up for the info session. Looking for the payment plan. Outlining the first chapter of your book. Just tiny actions, added up, is enough to change a life.
With Venus also squaring Jupiter, your chart ruler, passions might be running at an all-time high. It can feel like a cosmic defibrillator, shocking you back to life. While there is a danger of overindulgence, temper the heat by focusing on the little details. With both Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus (your 6th house), you are supported in grounding your big dreams in the details. Use this New Moon to get your ducks in a row – and you’ll be surprised by how quickly all the pieces fall into place.
Have faith, dear Sagittarius. Bet on your dreams, now – and may the odds be ever in your favor.
Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
8th House | “DO THE (SHADOW) WORK”
Dear Capricorn, there’s a different kind of work to be done now. In the dark of this New Moon, peek beneath the covers and discover the hidden treasures within. The New Moon in Leo lights up your 8th house, where intimacy, privacy, shared resources and shadow work run wild and free. This is a house of taboo, of whispered conversation and transformation. While we might be usually content to sweep things under the rug and pretend they don’t exist, this New Moon infuses us with the Leonine courage we need to face what we need to face; to confront, heal, and let go.
Pluto is in the last degree of your sign now, Capricorn, for the final time in our lifetime. It is a time of endings; of cycles breaking, of things coming to a ceremonious end. This New Moon is a wonderful time to engage in mysticism or shadow work – light up a candle, set up an altar, and just take some time to breathe, journal, and see what comes through. Once you have more clarity, a beautiful way to work with 8th house energy is to express. Going to therapy, counseling, or simply having an intimate conversation with someone you trust can feel so healing right now.
Uranus, Lord of Change, is squaring this New Moon from your 5th house, which is the house of joy, pleasure, creativity, and yes, inner child. Something tells me inner child healing might be an important piece of work to be done under this dark sky. What is something you grew up believing that may not be true anymore? Leo rules the 5th house, and this New Moon is the perfect time to set the record straight and plant new seeds of intention. With Venus holding hands with the Sun and Moon, there is a sense of ease – as Venus continues on her retrograde journey through the underworld, you too can feel supported in these deep-sea diving excavations now, knowing that eventually you will both emerge as a Morning Star . . . and be okay.
Aquarius & Aquarius Rising
7th House | “LET THEM IN”
Oh Aquarius, this New Moon in Leo is all about one thing for you: BALANCE. The Sun and Moon are holding hands with Venus in your opposite sign, Leo – this creates the dichotomy of relationship; the dance between “Others” and “Self”. You might have already been feeling these themes since the end of July, when Venus began her retrograde journey in Leo, bringing up questions around relationships, boundaries, and committed partnership (7th house) for you. As a sovereign, independent individual, you find that you’ve been thinking more about the souls you’ve allowed into your inner circle, and how you can better show up for them. This is the medicine of this New Moon – striking the balance between Me vs. We. It’s time to set some intentions around that, now.
Connecting with your heart space is something that might have been challenging for a detached, cerebral Air sign like you, but you are supported in doing so now. As Venus, ruler of the 7th house, embarks on her annual journey through the underworld, shedding her finery, you too can shed the armors and beliefs you’ve kept up as a shield around you, to access the emotional well of Truth within. How do you feel about love? Do you feel like you deserve it? Do you feel like being in partnership threatens your internal sense of sovereignty and freedom, something you hold so dear? This New Moon is the perfect time to ponder on these questions, and arrive at a balance that is more supportive for the both of you.
Uranus, your chart ruler, is in tension with this lunation from your 4th house of home, family, roots and psyche. Perhaps there are themes from childhood that are emerging now that shed light on certain relational patterns: like why you find it hard to commit, or why it’s challenging to open up. Uranus squares can be very destabilizing, but we are supported by Mars and Mercury in Virgo, helping you access the shadowy truth within your 8th house. What fears do you hold around intimacy, and how can you let them go? Allow the light of Leo to illuminate this dark house and bring the Truth to light.
It is a potent time of healing, shedding and alchemizing now. But know that you are so loved and supported, if you choose to let your armor down – and let others in.
Pisces & Pisces Rising
6th House | “SMALL THINGS, ALL THINGS”
Sweet darling Pisces, this New Moon in Leo puts your health and wellbeing into sharp relief. The Sun and Moon are shining a spotlight on your 6th house of wellness, service, routines, and the day-to-day – which means you’ve probably been feeling very contemplative about what your everyday life looks like, and if you’re feeling lit up by it. This Venus Retrograde has been a doozy for sure: our planet of love, beauty and values has been bringing up some serious epiphanies about what a truly joyful, authentic life looks like for you, and it starts with the thousands of tiny things you do everyday.
Your morning routine. That first cup of coffee. The way you kiss your loved one goodbye. Are you looking for the magic in the minute? Or are you letting it pass you by? This New Moon in Leo, a sign that delights in both grand gestures and childlike pursuits, has this to say: Small things, all things. The devil might be in the details, but so is everything else worth living for.
If you’re feeling the pinch from that Uranus square, the medicine might lie in the house he’s taking residence in: the 3rd house of communication and local community. Shake up your routine by taking a different walking route through your neighborhood. Strike up a conversation with the folks in your regular coffee shop. Crack open your journal, and rate your current wellbeing from 1 to 10. Sometimes, just seeing something down on paper makes our thoughts flow clearer. Allow any breakthroughs to make themselves known to you. You are well-equipped to face them, now, and put them to work.
New Moons are a time for planting seeds and setting intentions. It is a clean slate. This New Moon, while you’re contemplating your daily to-dos, I invite you – nay, challenge you – to take one thing off your list. Just one. Whether for a day, or for good, check in with how that feels for you: to have that delightful, unexpected breath of space in your calendar. And then, fill it with whatever your heart desires. A meditation. A stretch. A brisk jog round the park. Fill your own cup until it overfloweth, and remember:
You are your greatest gift to the world. It’s time you start taking care of it.
